At the only tree lot still open in GC, Kay introduces Tucker to Murphy. Also there, Nina accosts Jill (who's not impressed to hear she 'guessed' about her gift for Kay; finding her daughter). Not anxious for Nina's help, Jill huffs off - don't call me - I'll call you. And as Nina's left to roll her eyes, along come the Bardwell's to boast about their new candy apple red luxury sedan (that they need a wreath for the grill). 100K!? Jill's surprised it didn't come with leopard seats covers. Oh - Glo will have those custom ordered. You're Tucker McCall, Glo can't extend her hand fast enough. And while Jeffrey scowls at his wife's flirting, Murphy ushers Glo off to see the wreaths.

Daisy arrives at the Baldwin's with the keys she found at CL's. That was nice, wasn't it Eden? Lauren nudges. Not thankful at all, Eden scowls as Daisy claims she's spending Christmas at the dorms. And after Daisy leaves, wastes no time announcing that the dorms are closed. Where on earth is she living? Lauren wonders.

At CL's, Roxy's not so sure Neil's gonna be OK with Devon flunking because of his pursuit of a music career. After she leaves, Neil proves her right. It's great that Roxy forgave Devon - but Neil's not impressed to hear Devon's been so busy with his music that he 'blew' a coupla classes (and won't be graduating til Spring).

Serving up a huge breakfast, Jack reminisces about how the Abbott family started every day gathered around this table. But this is special too. Off to see Patty, Dr P talks of how well she's doing. Pleased to hear it, Jack invites Dr P to come back after she's done work.

Getting a visit from Paul, an excited Patty snatches the gift from his hand. Mmm truffles - her favourite. Feeling 'cooped up', Patty whines about not being allowed to go out to make a snowman. Maybe next year, Paul suggests - when she's not 'sick'.

Making a quick call, Lauren confirms that Eden's right - the dorms ARE closed (so immediately calls Daisy). Also at the tree lot, Daisy ignores the call. While Ryder doesn't want to cause 'good person' Kevin more grief, Daisy has Mike and Lauren right where she wants them. Now answering Lauren's call, Daisy agrees to go over. What's that about? She's playing her part - and Ryder better too.

As Tucker and Kay haggle over trees, Gloria marches over with a huge wreath. Who cares what it cost - size DOES matter, she continues to flirt. Remember me? Jeff pouts. And when Glo scoffs at Jill's 'puny' wreath, she's told that some like quality over flash (as Jill too eyes the amused Tucker).

Still at CL's, Neil thinks it IS a big deal that Devon's failing classes. No degree - no demo. Sure they can talk later, but Neil won't change his mind.

In the hallway, Paul asks Dr P if Patty can't be moved to a more comfortable room. Nope - she's not stable enough. Appreciating all Dr P's done for Patty, Paul wishes her a Merry Christmas. Visiting Patty, Dr P's given a handmade angel for her tree. See? It looks just like you - my beautiful angel, Patty gushes.

At CL's, Nina would like to discuss Paul kissing her - but settles for news on his lead. The nurse on duty the night Kay's baby was brought in is on her way over - right now.

Back at Jack's, P shows him the angel Patty made for her. Interrupted by a knock at the door, the pair are serenaded by a trio of carolers. Applauding the performance, Jack then drags the protesting P off caroling with them. Meanwhile, Patty reads an article on Kay's IPO - and cuts out the photo of Jack.

Having sent Eden out for egg nog, Lauren hopes Daisy will confide in them (assuming she's embarrassed that she can't afford to fly home again). Arriving, Daisy can't stay long - her parents will be there soon. Stop - we know you lied, Lauren says gently - then presses for the truth. Not wanting to be treated like a charity case, Daisy admits her parents were killed in a car crash when she was little. Raised in foster care, her real name's Daisy Sanders. And as Lauren takes the emotional liar off to wash up, Mike gets online to check the story.

Seated on the patio, the elderly lady explains how on her first day on the job, a baby was dropped off by a 'cold' woman. Hearing the 'Gray Nuns' then took the baby, Nina gets online.

Kay and Tucker finally negotiate a deal. Tucker gets a tree for half price - and they BOTH cover whatever trees are left on the lot by the end of the day. And when Tucker agrees to come over for Christmas dinner, Jill shoves her wreath into Murphy's arms and runs after him - there's something I have to do.

Neil comes along to tell Kay he's arranged a meeting regarding a possible acquisition - at the club in a half hour. In come the carolers (including Jack and the lip synching Dr P). As all applaud, the carolers file out - leaving Jack to tell Kay he's forgiven her. He just wants what's best for Jabot - and squeezing P, claims he's got other things going on anyway.

Tucker brings out an assortment of ties (to be used on the tree that's already delivered). He saw how Kay negotiates - and how Gloria flaunts her wealth. So obscene, he and Jill agree (tho Jill disagrees being jealous of Glo).

Back at the Baldwin's, Mike's not thrilled to hear his stock tip made the Bardwell's very wealthy - Merry Christmas, he frowns. And as they leave, Eden returns (and is told she was right about Daisy lying). Suspecting her 'heartbreaking' story might also be bogus, he's looking for confirmation online - and a contact is sending him some info too.

Now armed with info on the orphanage, Paul gives it a call. Explaining he's a PI, he hands the phone over to his client. Nina claims to be looking for the daughter she gave up for adoption. Due to a genetic disorder, her life could be at risk. Yes - call back when you talk to your supervisor, Nina offers thanks. Awesome! Paul grins.

Their meeting over, Neil presses Kay on the acquisition (then agrees to revisit it after the holiday's). And when he regrets being harsh with Devon, Kay points out that now might be the time to resolve it (as Devon and Roxy have taken a nearby table).

Their caroling done, Jack and Dr P come home to a raging fire and hot apple cider (courtesy of the staff - who've now gone home for the holiday's). Feeling more festive than he has in years, Jack hangs Patty's ornament - she's right - Dr P IS an angel. Meanwhile, Patty admires her latest ornament - a Christmas tree (topped with the cut out photo of Jack).

Rejoining the Baldwin's, Daisy's told that her story checked out (but isn't happy that they don't trust her). Stay with us for the holiday's, Lauren insists (never mind Daisy saying 'I couldn't possibly' - or Eden rolling her eyes).

Now seated at the club, Jeff teases Glo over her billionaire crush. Seeing nothing wrong with a little harmless flirting, Glo knows what she wants to buy with their newfound wealth - something she's wanted for a long time - Jabot.

Whining to Roxy about Neil, Devon wonders if he's still holding a grudge over him for sleeping with Tyra (and hasn't forgiven him as Roxy has). On cue, Neil appears to apologize for being harsh - and is now willing to listen. On their way out, the Murphy's stop by for some lame jokes (and geriatric sexual innuendos).

Sharing a phone, Paul promises confidentiality - while Nina jots down the name Joanna Glover. Hanging up, both are excited - and now, it's time to ~kiss~

Snuggling over glasses of wine, Jill and Tucker discuss him coming over for Christmas dinner - and the delicious secret they share.

Also snuggling, Jack and Dr P are in front of the raging fire (as Dr P announces she's in love with Jack). What did you say? Jack can hardly believe his ears. I love you, Jack, P repeats ~kiss~

Next: Just one thing's missing, Amber weeps to Daniel - my son ... It's Christmas Eve and my husband's nowhere to be found, Phyllis grumbles to Mike - so, how can I trust him? ... Adam loves me, Sharon insists. Love, a frowning Nick shakes his head. And I love him, Sharon adds.

My Thoughts: So much for PI/client confidentiality - if Paul can't manage to deny random theories on cases he's working on (or tell Nina to mind her own business). And why does Paul continue to use the college hang out as his very own personal office? He should have a receptionist set up in the patio's corner. And note that the tiny table's completely monopolized by Paul's laptop - and his huge aluminum briefcase. The woman almost needs to sit on a telephone book to see Paul over it - and she can forget about trying to eat that muffin ... And why wouldn't Kay's daughter be in a mall - it IS just a few short days before Christmas after all - not EVERYONE can be in the same tree lot - or can they? ... Funny that Gloria was able to instantly recognize the great Tucker McCall - guess shaving off his beard didn't fool HER. I just realized - you're new in town, Kay says to Tucker (is she losing her memory again?) ... Huh? Devon's managed to fail several classes - in the few short months he's been pursuing his music career? Neil wasn't tipped off by his mid term marks? ... Must everything Jack does come with a story of how wonderful the Abbott family was in it's hey day? How about remembrances of Jack sleeping with Daddy's wife? Or the year a distraught Traci stuck her head in the oven? ... Why IS Patty in a padded cell anyway? She's obviously allowed to have scissors n stuff (the new privileges must also include a daily paper) - why can't she be taken out for some fresh air? Even dogs in the pound get walked. And what kinda dye did she use? Her hair's a mess - but the roots are holding well. And if she's so unstable, why is she allowed to get wrapped Christmas gifts? Maybe there's a lock picking set in the box instead of truffles. But really, Paul - what's more 'comfortable' than a padded room? Certainly not a concrete cell ... Dr P doesn't seem to mind - or notice - that Jack didn't return her 'I love you'. Oh well - a kiss will do... Maybe Jack's staff should be warned about the dangers of leaving a raging fire unattended - and the tree fully lit ... Mike must have SOME contacts - how can one so easily get info on an underage minor? Aren't their records sealed? (like Grand Jury testimony - or Billy's butt cheeks while he was in jail)? ... Can't blame Ryder for being annoyed - Daisy DOES have the Baldwin's right where she wants them - cooking her Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner ... Odd to hear two billionaires nickel and diming one another over charity Christmas trees - surprising Kay didn't ask Tucker to bring dessert - and how did Tucker's tree get back to his place so quickly? ... Note that not once did the elderly nurse confirm the sex of the baby given up for adoption that September 30th oh so long ago - could it be Kay didn't have a daughter at all - but rather a son? A son named Tucker McCall perhaps? ... Neil's got a lot of nerve - arranging a meeting for Kay the day before Christmas - and giving her a half hour notice to get over there. He sure wouldn't have pulled that crap on Victor ... Hearing Nina talk of a genetic disorder reminds me of the reason she was so determined to contact Philip - Chance was tested for Hodgkin's Disease (or sumthin') - whatever happened to his symptoms?
