What did Dr P say? That the Colts are gonna take it this year? No - that other thing. I love you, Dr P repeats. Having never felt 'this way' she doesn't want it to end ~kiss~

Wrapping gifts with Fen, Mike has more tape on his nose. Kevin arrives to remind that due to the restraining order, he had to decide which brother to spend Christmas with - and has chosen the one who's always been there for him - Mikey ~hug~

Billy arrives at the boutique for some last minute shopping (for Delia). With Colleen gone, the season's lost some of it's 'holly jolly' (but Billy's encouraged to enjoy Delia's first Christmas). And while Daisy picks out an outfit for Delia, Amber has something she needs to go do (but first she'll mope over the boy in her locket's photo).

At the ranch, Abby's still sharing her foul mood (causing Adam to suggest Ashley buy her something special - like the skinny jeans she was discussing on the phone with Daisy). Offering to take care of Faith (while Ash runs to the boutique), Adam whispers to the bassinet - he'll make her 'other Mommy' very happy this Christmas.

At the tackhouse, Phyllis forces a smile as Noah and Eden head to the Baldwin's - and Daniel's off to see Amber. Have fun (she's then left alone - and lonely).

At Sharon's Nick apologizes for buying Noah the snowmobile without clearing it with her (and likewise, Sharon's sorry she 'blew up' at him). On what would have been her first Christmas, Faith's legacy shouldn't be them at one another's throats.

Off on a secret mission, Jack leaves P to watch recorded football. When he gets back, she can explain a 'back side shift' to him. Oh - it's a 'back field shift'? Who knew? (Jack - judging by his leer).

Coming home. Amber finds Daniel admiring his droopy little tree. Yes - it IS sad - that's why he bought it. He has just the thing for it (and the glum Amber). But the ornament only makes Amber burst into tears. Yes - they have reasons to celebrate - but one little thing's missing - her son.

Since Daddy's so late, Phyllis figures she'd bring Summer over to see Fen. Detecting the tension, Jana hustles the kids out - so Phyllis can give Mike the Reader's Digest version (her and Nick's fight after he found Adam and Sharon in bed - and their 'no more secrets' pledge). But how can Phyllis trust - when it's Christmas Eve - and her husband's nowhere to be found?

Mourning her loss with Nick, Sharon acknowledges that she's sad (as she's entitled to be) - what she's NOT is in need of rescuing. She's handling her grief in a healthy way. Huh? Sleeping with Adam? Nick balks - and the conversation's NOT over.

Dropping off some gifts at Jack's, Billy's surprised to find Dr P there. Apologizing for his off colour remarks, Billy does indeed have plans - and is, in fact going to have a wonderful time. Not convinced, P hopes Billy will come back for Christmas (as Jack would want). No one should be alone on Christmas.

Meeting outside, Kevin tells Ryder that he's decided to spend Christmas with Mike and Lauren - sorry. Will I see you at all? Ryder whines? Probably not? Don't worry about me (Ryder's lower lip all but quivers).

Though Nick's sure Adam's messing with Sharon to mess with him. Sharon insists their feelings are real. Adam loves her - and she loves Adam. They share a simple, honest relationship. The girl from the wrong side of the tracks no longer needs her prince's protection - but is left crying when Nick leaves (claiming he's 'done').

Hoping Mike's egg nog contains a magic potion (to make problems disappear), Phyllis can't really blame Sharon anymore. It seems she's moved on - and as much as Phyllis hates to admit it, Nick's the one who hasn't.

As Noah and Eden arrive, Phyllis and Summer leave with a flurry of hugs and 'Merry Christmas'. Yes - she'll be alright, Mike assures a concerned Noah. And as he changes the subject to 'presents!', Eden recalls she left Lauren's at the boutique (so, as Kevin arrives, heads off to get it).

At the boutique, Ashley's talking to Daisy about skinny jeans for Abby. Jack arrives to ask Lauren about a gift for a tall, elegant woman of style. And when the siblings cross paths, Jack admits he's shopping for P (whom he's determined to 'get things right' with this time) ~hug~

Barging past Adam into the ranch, Billy flashes back to spying on Adam at the funeral parlor (stealing ashes). Stay outta my way - and I'll stay outta yours, he growls. Cradling Faith, Adam frowns when Sharon shows up to admire her.

Amber rehashes passing off her cousin's baby as her own - and like most of her schemes, it backfired. But not before she and the baby fell in love. Having no legal rights to the child who thought of her as his Mom, Amber gave L'il D to Deacon. He's out there - somewhere, Amber sobs in Daniel's arms.

In Adam's arms, literally, Sharon feels she can breath (while with Nick, she feels suffocated). Snarling at Adam that it's none of his business where he and Abby are going, Billy tells Sharon that she can do better (than the blind guy, he gestures). When Abby agrees, Sharon's somewhat surprised (and is told that she's mad at everyone right about now). Sharon understands (recalling how she tried to fill 'the void - by void, she means 'vagina') when Brad died. And as Adam hurls adjectives at Sharon; incredible, amazing etc etc, Sharon returns his 'I love you' - and yes, she really means it.

With Summer in her PJ's, Phyllis assures that Daddy will be home by the time they finish they storybook. Nick's at the tree lot - flashing back to their agreement to never keep secrets again.

Billy plops the poinsettia atop Colleen's grave - so whatcha buy me? he quips. And as both he and Abby mope about Christmas not being the same without her, Traci appears to say it ain't so ~hug~

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. And here comes Nick - apologizing for being late. With Summer sent up with the promise that Daddy will read the book again, Phyllis asks where he was (feeling deja vu - when he was with Sharon at the cabin). Nick denies it was 'like that' - he was out walking around - thinking. But yes, he was with Sharon.

Though Faith continues to cry in Sharon's arms, she tells Ashley that she was a perfect angel. And handing Faith from one Mommy to another, Adam squirms.

Reminding Amber that it's THEIR first Christmas, Daniel's sure Deacon put L'il D in a safe place. He'll think about them looking for him AFTER the holidays (but doesn't look to happy about it when a grateful Amber latches on).

At home, the Baldwin's maul one another - oh, how wonderful life is. And as Noah calls Eden to hurry her along, Ryder's at the boutique - whining to Daisy about playing 'bad cop' - and now he's all alone for Christmas. It'll be worth it in the end, Daisy assures with a Christmas hug (as a stunned Eden rounds the corner to witness).

Traci delivers a much needed pep talk to Billy and Abby. They're to honour Colleen by leading joyous lives. It's no coincidence that they're all here tonight. CC's still bringing the family together ~hug~

Telling P that she can't open her gift til tomorrow, Jack isn't overjoyed to hear Billy came by with gifts (are they ticking?). Not wanting to talk about Billy, Jack removes P's sweater - he'd rather focus on the wonderful woman in his arms.

As Nick relays that Sharon's in love with Adam - and moved on, Phyllis wonders how that makes Nick feel - does he think it the best Christmas gift - or does he want to cry? Leave his wife? No - Nick loves his family - but being honest - it hurts that Sharon doesn't want him in her life. A small part of him doesn't want her to let go. Wanting help with the feelings he can no longer keep 'bottled up', Nick instead gets a slap across the face (as Phyllis then marches upstairs).

Sharon wishes they could get away from all this. Adam can make that happen - and he'd also like Sharon to marry him. Yes - marry him - to be at his side while he becomes the man Sharon thinks he can be.

Next: Cane looks worried - as a weak Lily thinks she might have to go to the hospital ... Adam pours champagne on the private jet - we should be in Lake Tahoe soon. Excited - Sharon can't believe they're doing this! ... Well hello family! a brunette Nikki walks into the tackhouse. Mom! Nick and Vikki fly to greet her at the door.
