Hello gorgeous, Tucker greets Jill at the club - approving of her work on the CelTron acquisition proposal. It's no wonder Kay hired her back. Neil arrives to report the meeting went well - but those he's negotiating with aren't convinced a 'stock swap' is the way to go. As far as Tucker's concerned it's the ONLY way to go. Neil suggests HE give the CEO a call - with HIS endorsement, he's confident they can seal the deal tonight.

At the mausoleum, the Murphy's and Ester are enjoying the peace and quiet (with Jo Jo gone). And just wait til she hears about the DNA test. When Ester's not surprised that Kay felt 'no connection', it's pointed out that she and Chloe aren't exactly carbon copies. No - but they both eat with a fork. As Kay remains optimistic that Jo Jo will take the test, Jo Jo arrives with 'new friends' in tow. The rough looking biker stereotypes stroll in to the 'sweet, sweet spread'. Kay suggests less formal surroundings - like Jimmy's. But why pay for booze when they can drink for free there? Looks like Kay needs to put a rush on that DNA test.

At GCM, Sharon and the Baldwin's exchange info - Noah and Eden were supposed to GO to the movies. Mike was told they were watching a movie THERE. Adam tattles that he found them in Noah's bedroom  - causing all to mutter about the kids being sexually active. And leaving candles lit, what ELSE are they careless about? Phyllis wonders aloud. Noah and Eden come out (with a doctor confirming they'll both be OK except for headaches). When Eden swears she blew all the candles out, an awkward moment is interrupted by Mike. 'Thank you's' are exchanged (with the Baldwin's offering compensation for Sharon's insurance deductible - and she's to pick out a new wardrobe at Fenmore's). After Eden's hustled out, Nick grudgingly thanks Adam for saving his son. And yes - Noah's in big trouble (though Phyllis offers a hug - relieved he's OK). That leaves Ashley to repeat her 'stay at the ranch' offer. And when Sharon accepts with a grateful hug, Adam looks less than impressed.

Sipping wine at Mike's, Glo's call to loverman is interrupted by the loud arrival of the bellowing Baldwin's.  What happened to Eden? She burned down Sharon's house -THAT'S what! Lauren reports.

Noah's homecoming at the ranch goes better - as he's welcomed by Abby (never mind that hugging her sooty cousin ruins her sweater) Hearing Faith cry over the monitor, Ashley goes to check on her (leaving Adam and Sharon to squirm - for different reasons that both involve Faith).

Still at the club, Jill and Neil are thrilled when a call from Tucker does indeed seal the deal. Neil's sure Kay will be 'all for it' - let's go see her right now, the trio head out.

As Jo Jo pours generous drinks for her pals - and orders more booze and snacks from Ester, Kay barks - that's enough! Problem Mom? Yes - Jo Jo's  crossing the line - Ester's no short order cook. All watch as Jo Jo strikes back at Kay - ending her tirade with 'I'm your kid'. 'Maybe not', Kay want's a DNA test. No - way, Jo Jo flatly refuses.

Back at the ranch, Ashley and Sharon gush over Faith (who Sharon seems to have the 'magic touch' with). Time to go to bed? No - Sharon's fine. Adam's gonna go change - into what? Clothes he conveniently left behind at the ranch - Noah has some at his Dad's - and Ashley has plenty Sharon can wear. And as Sharon again holds Faith, Adam looks increasingly uncomfortable. Aside, Abby can't believe the 'dark prince' saved Noah (who now thinks he isn't so bad). Maybe he's just trying to look good, Abby snipes - then curls her lips some more  - what!? Eden burnt down MY house!?

Meanwhile, at the Baldwin's, Glo explains she came to pick up a bottle of his fine wine (she doesn't see the big deal in helping herself - or with her drinking while playing with Fen - who's with Kevin and Jana). When Eden starts worrying about being charged, Glo doesn't help by mentioning the possibility of a lawsuit. Lauren continues to scold Eden (then gets more huffy when Mike, and then Gloria defend her). Maybe Mike WILL have a glass of wine after all (as Eden flashes back to blowing out ALL the candles). Wait a minute - the candles weren't close to the curtains! Eden blurts out excitedly. But that doesn't calm Lauren down - maybe the dog knocked it over - you almost got you and your boyfriend killed!

On the computer at Trimble's, Ryder reads about the fire online. You could have killed those kids. Eden was getting on my nerves - you know how I get when I'm pissed off - at least Daisy had the guts to take some action. Referring to a past incident, Ryder feels she went too far - then and now. Daisy doesn't get why he still carries around the photo of the guy who was bullying him.

Kay (with Murphy for support) explains why a DNA test is necessary. Jo Jo loudly tells the room that her trillionaire mother's trying to ditch her again - she didn't ASK to be found. YOU came to ME. No way she's giving up her bodily fluids - put THAT in your pipe and smoke it. You go girl! a rough looking biker cheers. What the hell is going on here? Jill arrives (along with Tucker and Neil).

Faith in her lap, Sharon flashes back to Nick talking about his dream (in which their daughter was named Faith). Your Mommy's so lucky, Sharon coos at the 'beautiful baby'. And when she opens the door to see Nick and Phyllis, Sharon explains that Ashley invited them to stay there (neither that news - or the sight of Sharon with a baby seems to impress Phyllis). Great - we'll be neighbours, she snarls - then marches in to check on Summer (leaving Nick to join Sharon in fawning over Faith).

As their conversation continues, Nick thinks it good that Noah will be at the ranch (but denies he's implying Sharon's not taking adequate care of him). It  just seems that Noah's growing up so fast - just yesterday he was as small as Faith. Sharon can't get over how similar Faith's cry sounds to Noah's (at the same age). Must be the Newman in her, they agree. Quietly watching them, Adam wears an expression that might be remorse.

Party over, the bikers file out of the mausoleum - we'll do this again real soon, Jo Jo calls after them. And as Jo Jo again goes for the booze, Kay utters an 'oh dear God' - and tells Neil to go ahead with the business he came to discuss - she could use the distraction. Meanwhile, updated by Murphy and Ester, Jill  doesn't think the DNA sample has to be voluntary - can't the dingbat maid get her hair or toothbrush? And when Ester reminds that it's all Jill's fault, Murphy referees (and will cover Ester as she goes up to see what she can do - but not before making it clear she's doing this for Mrs C - NOT Jill).

Back on the CL's patio, Ryder's followed Daisy - to gripe about Kevin hating him. Don't go soft - you know what's at stake, Daisy reminds. And no - he can't stay with her. She'll get kicked out of school if a boy's found in her room. That's not my problem, Ryder insists. Daisy won't budge - so what if it's winter - sleep in your car.

Eden's still under attack - by Lauren anyway - who now wonders if she and Noah are as careless when it comes to sex. We use protection, Eden swears. Surprisingly, Gloria rides to Eden's rescue -  Lauren and Mike should 'lighten up' (as both were a 'handful' as teenagers). Unfazed, Lauren still doesn't think it OK for Eden to be having sex - or burning down someone's home. She MUST take responsibility for her actions - ALL of them.

Adam joins Nick and Sharon (who still holds Faith) to inform that he just checked his voicemail. Yeah, well - obviously, Nick didn't know what Adam was up to when he left those messages.  When Phyllis comes down with Summer, Nick decides it's time to go - but not before herding Noah aside for a mini lecture (he and Eden could have died tonight). One moment can change your life forever. We're not done talking - love you son ~hug~ And thanking Abby for babysitting, Nick and Phyllis take Summer home. Telling Sharon that she called Jack (and it'll be months before the insurance adjuster can get into the house), Ashley again invites Adam and Sharon to stay - they'll have all the space and privacy they need. Sharon agrees this time - there's really no need to leave the ranch.

As Jo Jo continues to empty the mini bar, Jill and Neil pitch the CelTron acquisition to Kay. Tucker hovers as Kay admires the job Jill's doing - she's very proud. Asked his opinion, Tucker encourages Kay to go with her gut. Belching loudly from HER gut, Jo Jo's intercepted at the staircase by Murphy. Giving Ester more time upstairs, Jo Jo's more than happy to tell Murphy all about her work - over a brewski.

Sharon cuddles with her 'hero' on the sofa - he saved Noah, Eden - and even a dog who growls every time he sees him. Fisher licked my hand, Adam thinks that's something at least. You saved me too, Sharon wouldn't survive if Noah didn't. Adam can't change what she's been through - but will do anything to prevent that kind of pain again. I love you, Sharon gushes ~kiss~ (as Adam continues to look troubled over her shoulder).

You were up there a while, Phyllis notes. Nick needed to watch Summer sleep - and sipping a beer, recalls how Noah almost drowned last year. If Noah didn't make it tonight.... But he did, Phyllis reminds. Nick's so grateful - but clearly struggling with feeling this way towards the half brother he hates.

Fine - Daisy will give Ryder the keys and alarm code to Fenmore's -  he can sleep in the store room tonight. She'll pick up the keys before 10 (when Lauren gets in). But he better not leave so much as a candy wrapper to tip anyone off.

Lauren badgers Eden to the point that she once again apologizes - what else can she do - she knows she messed up - bad. Now Lauren doesn't like her tone. Her voice louder, Eden CAN'T calm down - when 'she's' telling her what a terrible person she is. Take whatever money I got from the Ashram, she bellows - give it to Sharon - just stop telling me how I ruined your life! And when Eden runs off in tears, Lauren thinks it uncalled for (while Mike and Gloria imply she was a bit harsh on Eden). I'm tired - got a headache - going to bed, Lauren hobbles off. So much for date night, Mike drinks his wine.

Neil, Jill and Tucker now leave the decision to Kay - who says 'go for it'. All are delighted - it'll be such an exciting year for CI. One you'll never forget, Tucker agrees.

As Jo Jo's stories continue, she declares Kay 'kinda rigid' (or perhaps 'frigid') Nope - Murphy thinks Kay the most open minded woman he's ever met. Jo Jo bets they 'get it on' whenever Mama Kay's in the mood - thank God for that little blue pill, she chortles. Spotting Ester gesturing from the top of the stairs, a relieved Murphy calls it a night. As he goes to kiss his wife good night, Jo Jo slams her empty beer bottle on the sideboard and waddles off - Ester creeps down the stairs to meet Murphy and Jill. That woman doesn't own a toothbrush or a hairbrush! What now? Murphy picks up the empty beer bottle - we got all we need right here, he announces triumphantly (and is rewarded with  kiss on the cheek from Jill).

Nick isn't sure what to do about Adam - wipe the slate clean? What feels weird? Phyllis wonders -  To be grateful to him - but on the other hand, want to wipe him off the face of the earth? Nick doesn't think Noah should have needed saving. He doesn't care how old Noah is - he and Eden should NEVER have been alone in that house.

Still cuddling on the sofa, Sharon knows what's bothering Adam - he's concerned about living so close to Nick. But she detected a change in Nick - how could he stay angry at a man who saved his son's life? Ashley appears to agree - Adam's a hero. Humble, Adam's just a man protecting the people he loves - and now he'd like to go to bed. With another 'thank you' to Ashley, Sharon heads up to bed with Adam. Dr Taylor! Ashley's pleased to get his call. You're in GC? That's so sweet - you came just to see us? Tomorrow would be great. Stop by the house - can't wait to see you.

Next: Dr P has a question for Jack - Are you going to be involved with Sharon every time she makes a decision you don't agree with? .... You think I started the fire? Daisy sounds stunned. Crossed my mind, Eden answers caustically ... Dr Taylor confronts Adam in the ranch's living room -  I'm telling Ashley and Sharon - everything.

My Thoughts: It's ever so nice of Mike to offer to pay Sharon's insurance deductible - but shouldn't he be offering to pay Abby? It is her house that was burnt down - though it's odd that if the home's destroyed, Noah and Eden didn't even smell smoke (it rises ya know). Also - it'll take the Insurance adjuster 'months' to get in the place? Doesn't he know these are Newman's? THE Newman's? And how is the fire reported ONLINE - before Noah and Eden even get home!? Before Abby, the home owner, even learned Eden could have caused it? ...  Kay really shouldn't rely on her sense of 'connection' - given how 'connected' everyone felt to Cane (who, of course, turned out to be a fraud) ... Thanks alot Grandma (is what Mac would be saying if Jo Jo and her band of burly bikers showed up at Jimmy's). If not at Jimmy's, where did Jo Jo even FIND an off season bike gang - don't they migrate South for the winter?  ... Weird weather in GC - the bikers stroll outside in T-shirts and Sharon's holding a barely dressed baby at the front door (yet MONTHS ago, Amber was freezing on Daniel's rooftop like she was in the Antarctic - and Ryder's whining about being homeless in winter) .... Odd that Jill, of all people, would put so much faith in the GC lab's DNA accuracy - these guys have bungled numerous DNA tests - or, in other cases, let lax security enable the falsifying of such tests. But how easily all are stumped on how to get Jo Jo's DNA - like she's not putting her lips all over drinking glasses and eating utensils etc. And didn't Ester just do her laundry? Surely there'd be a stray hair or two stuck to a bandana. Leave it to the brilliant Murphy to crack this one ... Sharon and Adam can't possibly move to the GCAC because they'd be 'cramped'? Like they couldn't afford to have an adjoining suite for Noah? And Ashley continues to offer all the privacy the newlyweds could need - then interrupts them snuggling on the sofa to tell them so. Is Fisher invited too? Where IS the dog anyway?  .... Usually the calm influence in the Baldwin household, Lauren's tirade towards Eden was quite an abrupt change (and completely out of character) - almost as strange as Gloria coming to Eden's defence. Another joke is Mike commenting on Gloria drinking while 'playing' with his son (this from a man with a glass of alcohol permanently attached to the end of his arm - like  an upscale version of Julian on Trailer Park Boys). It's not like she's Billy - and she's not the one babysitting - it seems the lucky Fisher's are saddled with Fen this evening (as Mike and Lauren again TRY to have the date night that for various reasons always seems to elude them) - never mind that Kevin's work load's been tripled (at one of his two jobs) - couldn't THEY use a break too?  .... Knowing that Ryder's tempted to singing like a bird, why would Daisy so eagerly confess to arson? Contradictory to my assumption that Daisy made her way in with the spare key - it seems she slipped in using a credit card (or perhaps a library card). Taking her no time at all to gain access, one has to wonder why such a prestigious estate - has Walmart locks ... Why is Jill out on the town with Neil and Tucker - didn't Murphy tell her to stick around (instead of leaving Kay to deal with her Christmas present alone?) ... C'mon Phyllis - it really doesn't matter if Sharon's a neighbour - wherever Sharon resides; the club, Jack's, Brad's - Nick's 'be right over' was always quite literal - as if a 'beam me up Scotty' was all it took to bring him to her side ... So much for Nick's honesty - while assuring Sharon that he wasn't blaming her, he later told Phyllis that no way Noah should be left alone in the house - never mind the countless times Noah would visit Eden (while she babysat Summer at the tackhouse) .... Hey Ryder - quit whining about having no job or home. Get another job (surely Kevin would give him a good reference) - and find a place to live (he MUST have been able to save some money - living at the Fisher's rent free for months - even Jana stated he should have enough to get a place of his own. Forget the streets and his car - why not go to the homeless shelter - if Ryder's lucky Mac will take him under her wing (and install him in the stock room Patty vacated) - perhaps even give him a job. Still - it's odd that Daisy would be worried about something so trivial as being caught with a boy in her room (yet doesn't fear the consequences of break and enter - or arson - along with whatever else she's up to - nor, is she the least bit worried about Ryder being spotted at the boutique - again).
