Ahh so good - Billy chases a shot with a beer. At his usual bar stool, he calls Heather ... Abbott. It was fun - unexpected - but fun. Talk to you later - bye (it was either a message or the shortest conversation ever). Checking in, Mac's told it's a 'weird day' (then announces that Tucker not only took over the company, he's claiming to be Kay's son).

Tell me it's not real, Kay whines to Murphy. Not only has she lost CI, but she gave up a son, not a daughter. And HE claims to be that son. Murphy's learned one thing about Katherine Chancellor - she doesn't let life roll over her. Now - what's the next move? Kay won't be intimidated by Tucker McCall - son or not, he'll reckon with the force that is Katherine Chancellor. By God, she's taking her life back.

Mike greets his gorgeous redhead wife at the boutique - sorry to hear she's suffering a headache. Maybe she's been working too hard? Mike's one to talk - as he's busy with the Kay/Tucker thing. Eden's glad to find them both there - she got mail - from her Mom's sister (who didn't know she existed - and now wants her to come to Paris). A few MONTHS! Mike balks. Lauren would LOVE time in Paris. Off to discuss it with Noah, Eden leaves the Baldwin's to debate her going. Now alone, Mike's used to having a kid sister - he doesn't want Eden gone.

I want Eden gone, Daisy snarls at Ryder (outside Trimble's) - she gets on my nerves - that's why she set the fire (and framed Eden). Cause she's not as gullible as Lauren and Amber? Ryder has more worries - like where to sleep. Daisy allows him to sleep in the boutique's store room - jut a few more nights - then, hopefully, Mom will show up and tell them what to do next. Here's Kevin... Ryder hisses (and Daisy bolts). Prying his eyes off his texting, Kevin seems surprised - Ryder?

Wrapping up her text conversation with the florist, Chloe apologizes - I'm all yours, she promises (as Chance joins her at CL's). Chance admits he's just jealous - she's loving her wedding planner job - while he's becoming a couch potato. Oh come on - he goes to the gym - watches Delia. LT. Watson comes over to announce that no charges are being filed against Chance - here's your gun and badge - it's like the whole thing never happened (as long as he stays away from the Riggs case). You're back in action - awesome - let's celebrate, Chloe gives Chance a hug (and misses his troubled look).

Amber paces their tiny apartment - fretting over L'il D. If Tawny(her unstable mother) isn't taking good care of L'il D, she'll take him from her so fast ... And bring him where? Here? Ah - hell no, Daniel slams his laptop shut. Sure, they agreed to only check on the kid - but how can Amber turn her back on the child who considers her Mommy? If he's not safe, Daniel will call child protective services - he has no desire to parent this kid (or any kid right now). Is Amber tracking this kid to make sure he's safe? Or because her bio clock's ticking?

Still at the boutique, Mike and Lauren debate Eden staying with strangers in a foreign country. Lauren thinks it might be the best thing for Eden (who feels guilty that her negligence caused the fire). Plus - distance from Noah wouldn't be a bad thing. The kids are too wrapped up in each other. Mike doesn't want Eden to feel unwanted. Lauren snaps. Why is she yelling? She's frustrated that Mike's letting his own issues get in the way of Eden's opportunity - I want her to GO! On cue, Daisy rounds the corner.

Ryder shares that he crashed at a motel - spent another night at a customer's place. Kevin's glad he's not sleeping on the streets - but as he walks off, Ryder talks about a job interview. Anxious to get going, Kevin hopes it all works out. That means a lot ...Ryder says. But it's the 'coming from you' that finally motivates a guilty Kevin to hastily hand over some bills - before marching down the sidewalk.

Declining Murphy's assistance, Kay must deal with this alone - she'll call if she needs him. You better, Murphy says gruffly - but with a kiss.

At Jimmy's, Kevin unburdens himself to Mac - it's hard - he sees a lot of himself in his brother. When Billy comes along, the pair exchange verbal jabs (which Mac puts on hold to take a call from Murphy). Hearing Kay could use some moral support when she gets back from Tucker's, Updated, both fellas hop off their barstools - let's go. When Mac's not sure it's a good idea, Kevin suggests a truce. Sure thing, Coffee Cakes. Don't push it Willy. The trio race out.

&&&&

Lauren sympathizes with Eden's dismal childhood - being abandoned by her father - maybe this trip will make up for lost time - her Aunt can fill the empty spaces in her heart. Mike wants that for her - but it's Eden's call - maybe she won't want to leave us? Eden's leaving? Daisy makes no effort to hide her delight.

Kay blasts Tucker - using that cartoon character (Jo Jo) to distract her was despicable - cowardly. It was business, Tucker corrects. Assuming she's got lawyers working on getting rid of him, he's unconcerned - bring em on! CI is MY company, Kay asserts. Tucker disagrees - it's a done deal. She's advised to save her money on the lawyers - the only skeleton in his closet is HER - the wealthy woman who abandoned her own son. Kay's gonna prove that false also - you're NOT my son, she scowls - I want a DNA test.

Throwing her leopard coat on, Amber's about to huff out the door - no matter what Daniel thinks about her clock ticking - she IS only concerned for L'il D's safety. Daniel wants to be clear - he wants children - but newlyweds need to focus on each other - not on babies (especially not Deacon's baby). We want different things. You regret marrying me!? Amber slams out.

Back at CL's, Chance assures Chloe he won't go looking for trouble - but he took an oath - to serve and protect - he can't ignore that. Even if ordered to let it go? Chance won't go rogue - but someone needs to look into this case. Chloe loves that he's such a good guy - and hates it. Delia lights up - if anything happened to you. Just Delia? Chance prods. OK - Chloe's afraid she's gonna lose it at any minute. You won't lose me, Chance assures - OK - he'll let it go - but she's gonna have to work hard to distract him. Getting a call from Murphy, Chloe hustles Chance out - sounds important.

Murphy's thrilled that Mac brought Billy and Kevin with her - then shares how Tucker's knifed her in the back. He doesn't deserve to breath the same air she does, Billy seethes. Mrs C is the greatest lady Kevin knows. She believed in him when some people (ahem - like Billy) didn't. Oh yes - we're all so lucky to have Kay. Mac's impressed that the boys are getting along - even temporarily. You may not be blood, Murphy tells them - but you ARE family.

Tucker leisurely cracks open a beer - he'd be more than happy to take a DNA test. Though Kay's sure it's part of his plan, Tucker just thought it time she knew about the kid she left behind. Despite being made to look like one, Kay's no fool - he may have gained satisfaction dropping his bombs - but she'll have that same satisfaction (watching him fall flat on his face). Oh - by the way - the test will be done at her home - tonight. She expects him shortly.

On the CL's patio, Noah quips about the hot chocolate being better in Paris. Eden mutters - can't wait to get rid of me. Oh - nothing, she lies. And what do Lauren and Mike think? That it's a great opportunity. It IS, Noah continues to sell it - remembering their trip. Yeah - it's not like we've been hanging out, Eden frowns - you won't even miss me. And when Noah adds that he'll be busy with baseball etc, anyway, Eden finally snaps - it's obvious he wants her gone. What?! Noah's jaw drops (and is still on the ground as Eden marches out - forget it!).

At the boutique, Daisy thinks Eden must be psyched about going to Paris. And the Baldwin's need not worry about a sitter. Buying the ass kissing, Lauren even praises Daisy's fabulous tea. Daniel bursts in - looking for Amber. Yeah - everything's OK - tell her I'm looking for her. Again thanking Daisy for the tea, Lauren sends her off. Mike frowns over a text message. Bad news? Not if you're Tucker McCall - everything checks out so far.

As Chloe and Chance join the crowd at the mausoleum, Amber arrives - no - no one called her - she's just there to see Mrs C. Chloe stops short at the sight of Kevin and Billy, cross legged on the floor with Delia. Katherine needs us? the newcomers ask - then are updated (that Kay gave up a boy - whom, after stealing CI, Tucker claims to be). CI without Mrs C in charge? Amber's aghast. Returning to a room full of loving support, a touched Kay makes her rounds offering hugs and kisses. Oh, what this means to me, she tears up.

As Daniel leaves yet another message for Amber, Daisy arrives at CL's - and oh look - she's brought this camera she can't figure out how to use. Luckily Daniel had one just like it - but there's no way Daisy's gonna be able to get her school assignment in on time. Unable to afford a digital camera, Daisy's relieved that he has one she can borrow. But since she's to be back at the dorms in a half hour, how about she stops by Daniel's on her way. That works, Daniel leads the way.

OK Granny, Billy uses Delia as a puppet to get Kay laughing. Kay still can't fathom it - her company GONE. You're still a stockholder, Kevin reminds. Kay doesn't buy Tucker's 'no hard feeling's stance. Seeing Amber ignore a third call, Kay encourages her to go home to work things out - NOW. OK, but Amber wants a call if she can help - love you. To a chorus of 'good bye's', Amber opens the front door. Don't tell me you're Tucker McCall, she scoffs at the Asian guy (who's there to do the test). Ding dong - it's the guest of honour alright - right on time. Once in the living room, Tucker finds himself glared at menacingly by a line up of hostile Kay-supporters.

On the CL's patio, Noah whines - he thought he was being supportive and now Eden won't talk to him. Though no fan of Eden, Abby can't believe Noah's so clueless. Duh yeah (he was supposed to tell Eden not to go - selfish or not). What a mess, Noah hopes it's not too late to change Eden's mind.

It is - and when Eden announces she's going to Paris, Lauren gives her an excited hug (while Mike pretends to be happy about it). It'll be great, Mike enthuses (though Eden's smile - over Lauren's shoulder - doesn't quite reach her eyes).

At Daniel's, Daisy promises to take good care of the camera he's lending her. Daniel's not worried - I know where you live. Daisy, Amber doesn't sound impressed (as she comes through the door). I should go - see you at work tomorrow, Daisy gets only a nod from Amber). No - Amber didn't report their fight to Kay (who has enough problems of her own). Amber's time at the estate has taught her to hold onto what you love the most. Daniel's been thinking too - let's take it one step at a time. Latching on, Amber's so glad they worked it out. Me too, Daniel's not smiling.

Chance leaves the group to answer a call. A robotic voice warns 'you're in danger'. What? Who is this? Chance is puzzled - click. Hello? Everything's fine - Chance lies that it was his Mom on the phone. The lab tech will have the results within a day. As he's shown out, Tucker hopes this gives Kay some peace of mind (which Billy's sure he doesn't care about). After Tucker leaves, everyone surrounds Kay to offer support. What if he's my son? Kay tears up. Mac has something that'll make her feel better - follow me. Hello mother, Brock gives Kay a big hug at the front door (as she weeps in his arms).

Next: Victor had invited us, Sharon waves her arms to include, Adam, Noah and Abby. On the other side of the nicely set table (at the club). Victor made it sound like it was just us, Phyllis responds smugly (with Nick and Summer). Wanna leave? Sharon asks Adam. Victor arrives with Nikki - no one's going anywhere ... Jack just wants his Daddy to make him president of Jabot - that's why he married me! Patty rants to Paul (who tries to calm her down when she starts shouting 'Jack, Jack, Jack!' - stabbing at whatever's in front of her - likely a newspaper ...

My Thoughts: When Murphy said the line 'If I've learned one thing ...' I figured for sure he was gonna say sumthin' funny - like - if there's one thing I've learned since coming to Genoa City - it's that the Chancellor's sure do get a lot of DNA tests done .... or that DNA results aren't worth the paper they're printed on ... And since they're so innacurate, why don't they have 3 tech's doing 3 tests simultaneously? Best 2 outta 3 wins (with the accurate one getting some kind of bonus).... How many times will Kay utter the phrase - I'm taking my life back? I've never heard anyone express the need to 'take their life back' (nor do I expect to do so myself). Yet after just GETTING her life back (she's gotta do it again? Already?) ... Daniel doesn't want to focus on babies? Guess he doesn't realize that L'il D isn't exactly in diapers anymore (as he's a teenager) ... Why is Kevin grumbling that 'some people' can't get past the things he's done? Why is it so important that everyone forgives and likes him? Get over it already - you're an arsonist - a statutory rapist - an attempted murderer (a guy who continues to bend and break the laws when HE feels it necessary) .... Acting so completely out of character - falling down because she's so tired and hungry - frequent headaches. Hmmm - I'm no doctor, but the only rational explanation (rational by soap standards that is) - is that someone's slippin' sumthin' into poor Lauren's tea. Already suspected of causing the fire, Daisy somehow evades suspicion ... Lauren mentioned something about that 'new office smell' - it was wallpaper glue - maybe she's been sniffing too much of it (hence the headaches and out of character snappiness) Clearly, Lauren's not drinking that wonderful calming tea Ashley served up for Neil ...Billy seems quite taken with Heather - perhaps the key to keeping Billy satisfied is pretending you aren't. Did Billy ever get around to talking to Paul? Or was he so distracted by Heather that he forgot all about bringing Adam down (which would be understandable - IF he didn't have the magazine deadline to remind him) Since he put aside 'that other story' (to focus on Adam) - what's gonna be on next month's RS cover? ... What's Eden's hurry to visit this Aunt in Paris? Why not wait until the end of the school year? Allowing them a few months to get acquainted via the Internet - Skype - MSN or sumthin' ... Poor Ryder - still wondering where to lay his skull ... I mean head - still unable to make his way to the homeless shelter. And what phone number does he plan to give at his interviews tomorrow? The boutique's? (and please call between 9pm and 9 am?) I bet Ryder's having a blast in that boutique after hours - everyone remembers the movie 'Mannequin', right? ..... Couldn't the police have summoned Detective Chancellor IN to the station to grab his gun and badge. What if he was wearing sweats - and had nowhere to tuck his gun? ... Really Amber - your cozy love nest is barely big enough to get a good pace going - forget bringing up any kids there - where will the bassinet sit? The excersaucer - the playpen. Kids need a lot of real estate ... Tucker's a billionaire - with so many holdings to manage - how can he be free to take blood tests at the drop of a hat that very evening? Doesn't he have stuff to do? Companies to acquire? Employees to hire and fire? .... Where are Nikki, Jill and Ester for this whole Team Kay meeting? And is Tucker supposed to be intimidated by Kay's family - all lined up and glaring at him .... Daisy can't afford a digital camera? Wasn't it mentioned as a prerequisite for the class? Given that she's always studying - and gets such great marks, isn't it odd that she's left her project til the last minute? Oh wait - I get it - she's lying. Boy - she's good - I really bought it. And shouldn't she have at least TRIED to hide her glee over Eden 'going away'? How did Lauren and Mike not notice? While I'm relieved that there's a logical explanation to Lauren's overreaction (towards Eden) - it's too bad it seems to be caused by tea ... I get WHY Chance is lying to Chloe - but will she give Mr Do Right a pass when he gets busted? It's not like Chloe can't just ask Jill when's the last time she talked to Chance. A more accomplished and experienced liar - like Jack or Adam - would have said it was an old pal from the service ...... Not sure Chloe can count this one project as an actual 'job' - or put in 'overtime'. It's ONE lousy wedding. And how stressful can it possibly be to order flowers? Especially for a woman who's used the pressure of reaching media deadlines. Puh-lease.
