Back from walking their new puppy (which Victor carries in his arms) - there's talk of tension in the air that the canine picks up on. And in their suite at the club, Victor and Nikki discuss Tucker and Kay - then Nick and Adam (who are trying to get their father's approval is all - and need to be reminded that both are Victor's sons). Victor's determined to take back the ranch. Ashley will be well taken care of. Sharon and Adam's marriage is then disapproved of. When talk turns to how far apart the family is, Victor plans to remedy that - and handing the pup to Nikki, calls to reserve the club's largest table - for the entire Newman family.

At the tackhouse, Phyllis tries to talk Nick into moving - if she had a new kitchen in a new house, she'd cook dinner every night - in a French maid's outfit. Nick needs to be THERE - to look after the place. Maybe Adam WILL drive off with the place. Phyllis persists - we need a place of our own. Phyllis and Summer are Nick's priority - but the rest of the family will always be part of his life.

Joining Adam and Sharon at the ranch, Noah disapproves of them using Lauren's certificates to buy him stuff. He's tired of Eden being blamed for the 'accident'. Abby explains that Noah's bummed that Eden's going to visit an aunt in Paris. And when Noah frets over not being able to figure girls out, Abby declares her a loser - she knows many girls who're better for him. She doesn't get it, Noah sighs. Adam does - and maybe he can help.

Jack joins Dr P at CL's never mind his flirting - they need to discuss the wedding cake. Getting a message from Patty's new doctor, P gives him a call to see what's up.

In her cell, Patty's like an addict desperately in need of a fix. You can do this - you don't need those pills. Just one, she gives into temptation and pulls them out of the ripped seam in her mattress. Ready to gobble them down, Patty talks herself out of it - and stuffs the pills back. Hey there Sis! Paul barges in smiling.

Ending her call, P reports that everything's fine - then goes back to cake selection. Jack's clearly distracted - whatever you like. He's left 10 messages for Kay - but never mind business - he won't let Tucker McCall ruin their wedding. P thinks he should get things settled at Jabot BEFORE they get married.

Adam tells Noah about his grade 9 girlfriend - when she moved her life was over. But - they both moved on. That won't happen with Noah an Eden - she I the one, Noah's sure. If she is, you'll be stronger than ever, Adam assures. We're solid - in love - but Noah's grateful that Adam knows where he's coming from. Now alone, Sharon's thrilled with Adam - but who is this Lisa Whatsername? ~kiss~

Having summoned JT to the patio, Nikki denies this is about Tucker McCall (knowing JT wasn't in on it). So, what's this about? Victor's family dinner at the club. Nikki knows he and Vikki are having a tough time - but he's still family. She then reminds how JT stayed by Vikki's side when he was told there was no hope. Don't give up now - Vikki wants this marriage to work. JT agrees - Vikki wants Reed to be close to the family. Thanking him with a hug, Nikki exits - see you tonight.

Phyllis doesn't want to cause problems between Nick and his family - she just wants some separation. Nick can't leave (and let Adam have the run of the place). Now working at NE, Phyllis again whines about there being no separation. You want US again, right? she inches in to tease. Compelling argument, Nick has to admit. Phyllis answers the door - Hi Victor.

Jack doesn't want to change the date - OR scale the wedding down. Fairy tale wedding it is. No more putting business first. Dr P loves being his first priority - and will remind him - with something like this ... And as the old folks kiss, CL's customers watch and smile (awww - how cute).

It's going OK with DR Jasper, Patty reports - but why did Dr P do that to her? Losing at war, Patty talks about Jack sleeping with that slut, Diane Jenkins, the night of their wedding. He's still sleeping with her - he doesn't want this baby - he just married me so his father would make him president of Jabot. Jack! Jack! she destroys the cards in front of her. Patty! Look at me, Paul grabs her wrists - you OK? I'm FINE Paulie, she laughs - why wouldn't I be?

No - Victor didn't interrupt anything. Segundo is restless at the club - could he stay with Nick and Phyllis until they move back to the ranch. He wants to be close to his children and grandchildren. On cue, Summer races into Grandpa's arms - I missed you. Nick smiles - Phyllis does NOT as Victor gives Summer a present from Belgium - a doll. He then invites the three of them to the club for dinner. I was going to fix something, Phyllis quickly decliines.But Victor wants them to be closer - one of us has to make the first step. OK then - see you tonight. Now alone, Nick thanks Phyllis (with a smiling Summer on her knee).

Victor calls Adam - hello son. Dinner at the club - bring Sharon - Noah and Abby too ~click~ Yes Sir. We've been summoned. Something's up, he tells Sharon. Like what? It's just a dinner invitation. With Dad - anything, Adam's suspicious.

P gets a call from Paul - Patty's regressed - stressing about Jack. He's worried. I'll be right there, P packs up. Jack will give Chloe there choices - and hopes everything goes well. Me too, P hurries out.

This can't be right, Sharon's surprised at the size of the dinner table. Adam knew Dad was up to something. Nick arrives with Phyllis and Summer. Surprise - Victor invited us to dinner, Sharon explains. Carrying Reed, JT comes along to announce that no one would show up if they knew it was a family reunion. Victor arrives with Nikki on his arm. Nick doesn't want to leave - and Adam keeps the quips a comin' - great, dinner AND a show. Wanna leave? No one's leaving, Victor states firmly - it's been far too long - let's act like a family. Nikki brought Belgium chocolates - and of course there's other gifts. Approached by JT, Victor's told that he still works for 'that man'. JT WAS upset - but it was business. A friend was hurt, Victor frowns. YOU went after Colleen in the name of business, JT reminds. Guessing JT hasn't told Vikki, Victor suggests he forget this Tucker nonsense and come back to NE. JT refuses - he doesn't need Victor's job OR approval. Working for Mccall may not make JT his own man - but NOT working for Victor does. Scooping Reed up, JT's off to get a burger and fries. Undeterred, Victor sits to raise his glass - to our family, he toasts to blank faces.

Dr P - why are you here? Patty's herself - talking about a drawing she did - of the flowers in her garden. The Abbott mansion has a beautiful garden - it's where Jack and I live. Draw me a picture - I'll be right back, P takes Paul outside - it could be her meds. She can only hope Patty gets back to where she was. Peeking through the door, Paul watches Patty admire her drawing. But fails to see her inch her way towards her stash of meds.

Victor joins Sharon at the bar - sorry - but Doris called again. A plane crash and a fire in one month's got her concerned. Or, is she worried about your sudden marriage to Adam? Why him? Victor has to ask. Sharon sees a completely different man - loving and generous - he gets me - knows what I need - and what I don't. You love him? He makes me happy. Tell me when he doesn't, Victor growls. But this time, Sharon plans to be his daughter in law forever ~hug~ Good luck, Victor smiles.

Phyllis checks that there's no peanuts on the menu. Don't worry, Nikki joins her - Victor called the kitchen 3 times. She knows coming here wasn't easy for Phyllis - but he adores that child. That's the irony - she adores him, Phyllis replies.

Sharon reports her conversation to Adam - Victor won't make a scene. She's waiting. For what? Three little words. Not 'I love you' - 'you were right'. Adam can't get those words out - so settles for 'I love you'.

Noah wonders why Eden's not answering his texts. Abby doesn't know - but her friend Josie would love to date him. Noah's not interested in anyone but Eden (who he's gonna text again). Shocker, Abby huffs.

Seated close to Nick, Sharon relays why Noah's upset - Eden's going to Paris. No need to talk to him - Adam already did. Nick then glares as Adam claps Noah on the shoulder (sympathizing that he hasn't heard from Eden).

Victor thanks everyone for coming - as he kisses Summer on the head. Everyone's standing about in little groups as Victor tells them THIS is what's important - being with all of them. Family means everything to him. He doesn't care about the conflicts and arguments - we're Newman's - we stick together. Here, here! Welcome home old boy! Jack's voice booms. Scowling, Victor puts his glasses on - as if to see who dares interrupt him.

Seated across the room, Jack heads upstairs when he gets a call. Just missing Paul coming through the revolving door. Seeing him at the bar (ordering Scotch) Nikki approaches - no hug? Getting one, Nikki asks about Patty. Let's not go there, Paul wants to know how she's doing - good to have you back. With an awkward wave, Nikki leaves Paul to down his drink - leave cash on the bar, and mope out.

Phyllis found an article online about Dr Taylor - he was quite accomplished. Yes, she WILL email it to Adam (who's cozy with Sharon). Phyllis carries on and on - incredible that he'd come all this way to check on Ashley. Let's go, Sharon and Adam stand. Phyllis paints the scene - Taylor and Adam arguing - then, runs into the street - bang - dead. She will NEVER forget it - have a good night. Don't let her bother you, Sharon leads Adam off to wish Victor and Nikki a good evening - complete with Noah, Abby - hugs and thank you's all around.

At his table near the front door, Jack gives the passing Abby a hug. I'll be damned - looks like Patty's doctor didn't leave town after all. Victor and Nikki watch Jack welcome Dr P with a lasting kiss. Let's go talk to them, Victor marches over. YOU accuse ME of taking advantage of Patty - and here you are - in a relationship. What's going on? Victor wants to know.

Now at CL's, JT's surprised that Vikki answered her phone. Reed's good - misses his Mom. HOW much longer? He then announces that Tucker took control of CI. No, he didn't know. Yes, he's gonna work for him. It obviously doesn't go well. We'll talk when you get home ~click~ whenever that is, he mutters.

Back at the tackhouse, Phyllis had an awesome evening - watching Adam squirm - Jack's well planned entrance - Victor going on about family after laying JT out - that was great. Phyllis is impressed that JT didn't back down. Maybe Dad DID cross the line (giving Vikki photos of JT and Colleen), Nick admits. This is why Phyllis wants to back away - Victor and Nikki are moving back to the ranch. Nick IS thinking about moving - but first, needs to make Dad see that Adam's pulling the family apart.

You were right, Adam admits to Sharon - Victor behaved. You're his son - that means something to Victor. Adam felt equal tonight. He accepts you, Sharon assures - the others will too - you won't give them any choice.

Getting married? Nikki's not impressed that Jack questioned HER judgment. Deplorable, Victor remarks - so what if he got Colleen's heart. He'll always be grateful to Jack's niece and sister - but owes Jack NOTHING. An Abbot heart giving Victor humanity? How will Patty feel when she finds out Jack's marrying her doctor - the woman she tried to become? If she goes off the deep end, there's no one to blame but you. You're both deplorable. Game on, Jack grins. It'll soon be game over, Victor warns (as he leaves Jack still confident)

Next: Neil confronts Malcolm in front of everyone - You keep playing that family card - as if you're somehow entitled to be part of this family ... You'll be giving birth to children - are you really prepared for that sacrifice? Brock gives Mac something to think about ... This is NOT what it looks like, Jill barks (naked in Tucker's bed). Katherine, Tucker interrupts. YOU shut up! Kay spits at him.

My Thoughts: Yeah - as if the young patrons at CL's are delighted to endure old folks public displays of affection - smiling as if to say - how sweet. More likely, they'd be nauseated at seeing the wrinkled Jack and Dr P getting in to in plain view ... Wow JT - you ARE your own man - and now you've gotta buy your OWN dinner (odd that Reed's nowhere to be seen at CL's though - perhaps the nanny took him out for a burger and fries) He could REALLY be his own man - by moving to his own home .... Let's hope the chocolates Nikki brought back from Belgium for Summer has the ingredients in English - cause I don't think any of them know how to say 'may contain traces of peanuts' in Belgium ... Why does Victor need to order the largest table the club has? When hardly anyone sat down? And maybe he could have given the club an approximate head count? So they can push some tables together ... Jack sure got the worst table in the house - a chill must have gone up his back every time some one used the revolving door ... ... Maybe the point isn't who's footin the bill for Noah's new clothes - but rather, why his Mommy's picking them out for him. What 17 year old wants THAT? ... What was the point in Dr Jasper taking over Patty's case - if Dr P is taking over for him? ... Not sure what meds Patty's supposed to be taking - but it appears to be some form heroine. Whatever they are, if she's withdrawing that badly - but able to resist them (and sleep on them every night) - she's definitely got more will power than brains. That's like an alcoholic sleeping on a case of fine Scotch ... Great idea Dr P - give Patty more meds (to horde) - that way she'll have more to pump into YOU (when she makes a break for it) .... Why hasn't Kay returned any of the 10+ messages Jack's left for her? Obviously she doesn't want to talk to him - duh ..... Normally I'd scoff at the idea that a teenage couple is 'solid' - but really (and sadly) Noah and Eden ARE the most committed couple in GC .. Oh yeah Abby - EDEN'S the loser - at least she has a boyfriend - and a job. What do YOU have? Except a pony and a best friend who's burning your cousin's house down. I don't get why Abby's such a fan of Daisy's anyway - she's on scholarship and lives in the dorms .... Maybe Paul should be a psychiatrist - just a few shakes and a few 'look at me's and Patty snapped out of her tantrum ... Does the GCAC know that Victor's keeping a puppy in his suite? They allow pets? Of course the puppy's restless - it's cooped up in a 10X12 room (not that the puppy looked restless - it looked kind of drugged up - and it hasn't grown at all during the weeks in Belgium). When asking Nick and Phyllis to take on the responsibility of a puppy, shouldn't Victor at least have said 'please'? Who's supposed to potty train the dog? Nick and Phyllis are at NE all day ... Er - maybe you should change your tie Jack - your beloved P doesn't like yellow .... Thanks to Daddy inviting him to dinner, Adam now feels 'equal'? Maybe he doesn't know everyone else was invited in person - while he was invited (or rather summoned) over the phone (despite Victor being on the property) - to top it off, Victor hung up on him. Yeah - real equal son ... Why would Nikki think that almost losing Victor would bring the family together? It didn't accomplish that all the other times the almost 'lost' him ... Victor? King Solomon? He's more like the Burger King King.
