Since Nick won't move (giving her a Victor free zone), Phyllis has decided to leave NE (and already has her cardboard box packed). No kissing, the hall monitor scolds. Adam reports that Dad wants him and Nick in his office. Adam's NOT sorry to see Phyllis has resigned. No way Nick can quit too - leaving Adam to his devices.

The boys join Victor in his office - where Mike explains that CelTron's legit. Jack's not surprised - the guy's good. Books, taxes, SCC - it's all clean. Victor WILL find Tucker's achilles heel. Cane arrives - I think I can help with that.

Seated at the club, Gloria orders some REAL caviar AND truffles - a 3 lb lobster - and some expensive wine. Jeff arrives - unwilling to let some testosterone induced valet kid touch his baby, he had to park 2 blocks away (and is winded from the walk). He's chuckles over the newspaper - Tucker stole Kay's company. Gloria's boy DOES have it goin' on - looks and smarts. But there's one thing Tucker doesn't have - friends.

Now dressed and perched on Tucker's bed, Jill flashes back to Kay's angry interruption - you were never my daughter! I gotta go, she mutters. Tucker hands her the envelope Kay tossed. You're her son. It DOES matter. Jill's the one who wanted to find her real child - she'll think .... Jill MUST make Kay understand.

Nikki barges into the mausoleum - past a befuddled Brock. Kay sent a message - said it was urgent. Tucker IS her son, Nikki announces. Oh dear Lord, Brock sighs. Joining them, Kay won't calm down - the most despicable man she ever met is her son - and Jill's sleeping with him!

Tucker doesn't get why Jill's so upset - she knew he was Kay's son. We did nothing wrong. Jill claims it's not about morality - it's about hurting one who's given unconditional love. Family DOES mean something to Kay - what must she be thinking? Jill frets. That she shoulda knocked? No - that Jill's a backstabbing liar. She must hate me. So much for unconditional love, Tucker quips. No - he doesn't care that his mother feels betrayed. Jill shrugs him off - I've gotta make this right, she hurries out.

Kay wants to wipe the image of Jill and Tucker from her mind - how could Jill, the liar, DO this? Nikki assumed Jill was at Tucker's to defend Kay - guess not. He stole my company - went after my family - to obliterate everything I own, Kay rants. His coat on, Brock thinks it time someone show this Tucker how foolishly he's behaving. That leaves Kay to fret to Nikki about Jill hiring Jo Jo - how could she DO that? Jill only cares about Jill, Nikki replies. kay thought they'd finally become family - I invited her back into my life - my heart. I'm finished! She'll never be taken in by the likes of Jill Foster Abbot - not ever again.

Cane offers to use his position at CI to get the information Victor needs to bring down Tucker. But the others point out that Tucker knows of Cane's relationship with Kay - he'll be on his guard - protect important documents etc. Nick KNOWS what Tucker's next move will be - buying companies and breaking them apart. Adam disagrees - it's not that simple. He'll load CI with debt - leave the bond holders holding the bag - netting half a billion. Hmm - both interesting scenarios, Jack muses (causing Victor to remind that the goal is to help Kay - not give Jack a business opportunity). Jack thinks they can beat McCall - and benefit in the process. After the non-Newman's exit, Victor asks if his boys are ready to work. They ARE ready to glare at one another.

What's with the box? Jack walks out with his gorgeous ex wife. Hearing she quit, Jack invites her to come back to Jabot. Phyllis laughs - has he forgotten their RS experience. Phyllis agrees to join Mike for a coffee - Jack can't - he's gonna make his Daddy's dream come true (the Abbott's running Jabot) - and he's dealt with bigger obstacles than Tucker McCall.

Back at the club, Glo orders another $3,500 bottle of wine. $3,500? Jack balks. How much of HIS money HAS Glo spent? Short term memory IS the first thing to go, the much younger Jack states - then reminds of the legally binding Jabot settlement. It's time for Gloria to pay up.

Mike and Phyllis chat at CL's. Yes, Phyllis is OK with leaving her job - she's NOT walking away from Victor - he's coming back to live on the ranch, she fakes enthusiasm. And Adam and Sharon are there too - yay! That's one freak Mike's never been able to figure out. Unable to forget the 'accident', Phyllis replays it for Mike (who sure doesn't envy Phyllis - being married to a Newman). Adam and Victor don't make it easy, Phyllis admits.

Having both read the dossier on Tucker, Nick thinks him impulsive - so, they just need to wait for him to make a mistake. Adam's approach is more proactive - when he starts to sell, they buy with offshore accounts - dummy corporations. Nick's not impressed when Victor sides with Adam - agreeing that Tucker won't make a mistake. When a CI subsidiary goes up for sale, they make an offer. And when Nick point out that they don't have that kind of capitol, Victor reminds they don't because HE paid off the Cayman bank investors. Nick stands by his decision - it was the right thing to do. Adam enjoys Nick getting a verbal spanking from Victor (who, from now on, makes all the decisions).

Tucker invites Brock in - call me Tucker - we ARE brothers. Brock declines a drink, then accuses Tucker of hiding - using business to get to their mother. You're Kay's son. That DOES mean something - or you wouldn't BE here. Tucker found - he met - and he conquered. Yes, but Brock thinks it time he get to know his mother.

Returning to the mausoleum, Jill's ordered out - by Nikki. Of her own home? Yes - she's not getting anywhere near Kay. Calm down - it was a misunderstanding. You tripped and fell into Tucker's bed? Nikki scoffs (then continues to ream Jill' out). Jill had NO idea - and doesn't give a damn what Nikki wants. Over Nikki's dead body .. Don't tempt me, Jill hisses. It's OK Nikki - I'll talk to 'her', Kay appears to calmly say.

With Phyllis at CL's, Nick gripes about Adam (who may as well staple his Harvard degree to his chest). He's doing a good job of 'scoring points' with Dad (who ate up every idea Adam threw out). And bringing up the Cayman bail out wasn't random - Adam's making Nick look bad. He always wanted a brother - someone to watch his back. Adam sees him as an obstacle. Walk away - with me, Phyllis invites. Nick can't walk away from his Dad - he wants to make him proud (and run NE - on his own). He'll have to find a way to make things work with Adam - beat him at his own game.

Stop bullying her, Jeff interrupts Jack - who hurls a few adjectives at Gloria. Glo's not scared. You oughtta be - Jack wants his money. Glo doesn't have it. When Jeff's second bottle of Bordeaux arrives, he'd be happy to pour Jack a glass - so he can drink it somewhere else. Don't mess with me - or the law, Jack threatens. When Mike arrives, Jack announces that Glo has two choices - pay the money she owes - or go to jail.

After Nikki leaves, Jill states her case - she didn't know who Tucker was - and WAS going to tell her about the relationship. When she found out he stole CI, she wanted to kill him. But sleep with him first? Kay sneers. It was NO 'mistake' - it's who you are - and will always be - a white trash manicurist sleeping her way out of the gutter (no matter who she hurts). Kay gave money, security - love - but it wasn't enough - not for the grasping and pathetic Jill.

Back in Victor's office, he sees Adam was trying to push Nick's buttons (though he feels he gave as good as he got). Knowing he came down hard on him, Victor's proud of the way Nick handled himself - and DID like his proposal. The 3 of them will sit down and figure it out. Cool, Nick walks out.

You still here? Yes- Jill waited for her to calm down. Kay's sickened - but angry at herself for being taken by Jill - again. Yes - Kay's listening - the the voice in her head - Jill's a tramp with a cash box for a heart. Jill denies it was about money - I love you. After everything we've been through? Kay scoffs - Jill's still the same conniving predator - she hasn't changed. YOU haven't changed - holding a grudge over something that happened 30 years ago. It may as well be yesterday to Kay - Jill slept her way into this house and now she's slept her way OUT. You're jealous that your husband preferred me - to a drunk held together by plastic surgery and tawdry jewelry. Cane interrupts as Kay orders Jill out - so ushers her out for a walk.

Now Adam's in Victor's office - with financials on all CI subsidiaries. Stop it, Victor puts a stop to Adam's rambling (knowing he's just trying to show up his brother). Sit down. Listen carefully - Victor values Adam's opinion, but doesn't trust him. For the best interest of NE, can Adam put his personal ambitions aside?

At Cane's, Jill downplays her 'disagreement' with Kay - and doesn't want to talk about it. Tucker has big plans for Cane - very high level. It doesn't matter at who's expense. Are you involved with Tucker McCall? Cane wants to know.

Brock returns to Kay - he brought someone. You need to see this person. No - it's not Jill. It's me, Tucker walks in to announce. Meanwhile, Jack joins Nikki at the club - encouraging her to talk - it might help. You're right, Nikki agrees.

Nick joins Victor and Adam - lemme guess - Adam's gonna do a Powerpoint presentation on how to save CI. Victor wants them to stop competing - be team players. Adam takes exception - hasn't he done every menial task Nick assigned him - without complaint? Nick's the one TRYING to compete. You married his wife, Victor reminds. EX wife, Adam corrects angrily - he would never hurt Sharon. He doesn't give a damn if they believe he loves her. She KNOWS who he is - because she bothered- asked me what it's like to go blind (while neither of them did). Adam may have fooled Sharon, but not Victor. Adam's sick of jumping through hoops - defending himself - how can he earn Victor's trust. Son, I will never trust you, Victor assures (while Nick quietly rejoices).

The stand off continues. Adam sees that there's only room for one son in Victor's company and heart. Nick can have what he wants - the job - Dad. I quit - effectively immediately. In the hallway, Adam asks Phyllis to save a spot for him in the employment linen - he quit. Going down? Phyllis quips as the elevator doors close on Adam.

Jack's stunned to hear Tucker IS Kay's son - he thought his engagement would be shocking story of the month. Nope - Nikki gives that to Jill (who's in bed with Tucker). That's gotta hurt. That was the point. Kay's down but not out - Jill will wish she never met the enemy - let alone slept with him.

Jill insists she wasn't plotting with Tucker - but yes, she intends to work with him (though avoids the real question). Cane does NOT understand how Jill could side with Tucker over Kay.

At the mausoleum, Tucker and Kay face one anther. So. So. You're my mother. Do you have anything to say? No - Kay doesn't. It doesn't mean anything to you? No - nothing, Kay keeps it short. Tucker's valuable time has been wasted. Brock had to try. With one more sneer, Tucker leaves Kay to sob in Brock's arms.

Next: Adam shows up at Tucker's door - I'm Adam Wilson - Victor's son - I think we should talk ... Lauren's horrified to read some archived papers - Sheila Carter killed in Stand off with Fenmore's socialite. What? she gasps. .. Victor goes to Billy - I'm here because you have a magazine and I have a story. Interested?

My Thoughts: Not too bright, Cane scolds his Mom for siding with Tucker (against Kay) - but isn't HE working for Tucker too? And if he's only there to sabotage things, maybe he should keep that on the down lo - not make it obvious to the woman who hasn't denied that she's sleeping with Tucker ... Why do the Bardwell's feel the need to comment on Tucker having no friends? - when they don't have any themselves? And really, Loverman - winded after only a 2 block jaunt? With all the cardio Glo gives him, you'd think he'd have more stamina ... Not bad - Phyllis isn't even out the door with her cardboard box when she gets a job offer - but if she doesn't work at NE or Jabot, the only other option is CI.. But what kind of reference does she expect to get - quitting without courtesy of the customary 2 weeks notice? And there's no need for Phyllis to save Adam a spot in the unemployment line - neither would qualify (here anyway) having abruptly quit for no valid reason ... What kind of game is Victor playing with his sparring sons? He plays them against one another - then scolds them for being competitive. ... Nice that Nikki knocked this time - but why is she bullying her way past Brock like that? ... Jill really thinks the 'love' between her and Kay is 'unconditional'? More like it's conditional upon neither pissing the other one off ... Whatever agreement Gloria signed with regards to paying Jack back surely won't send her to jail (not if none of her more severe crimes kept her there) ... ... I understand Kay being furious with Jill - and the backstabbing, liar adjectives may fit - but calling her 'white trash' is going a bit too far (what's wrong with being a manicurist?) - and Tucker's hardly after everything Kay owns - so far, it's just the company (she doesn't 'own' Jill) ... Nick's learned from the best? Odd, because he always prided himself on conducting business in a more scrupulous manner than Victor ... Jack declines joining Mike and Phyllis for coffee - he doesn't have the 'time' (yet he has plenty of time to mosey on over to the club to threaten Gloria?) .. Why is Victor blaming Nick for the way he handled the SEC/Cayman fiasco? HE was the one suspected of insider trading - and Vikki was the one whose big mouth brought the SEC breathing down their backs - Nick merely handled THEIR mess the best way he could. Why doesn't Victor blame Mike, the brilliant attorney who gave the idea to Nick in the first place (partly to keep his poverty stricken mother off his back - and sofa) ... Nick wants to run NE - on his own? Um - what about Vikki, his older and more business savvy sister? .. Talking with Phyllis, Mike seems disgruntled at working for Victor - he sure is good at covering it in the presence of the great man. But why does he claim he could never be married to a Newman - he's only not with Vikki because she turned him down.
