At the ranch, Victor appreciates Ashley rearranging her schedule so he can see Faith - while she appreciates him calling first. Things go rapidly downhill when the argue bitterly over the ranch. I'm so glad I'm not married to you! Ashley shouts - just as Abby walks in. Ashley quickly apologizes - this has nothing to do with you honey. Abby disagrees - it's HER family that's falling apart. Noah joins Abby as she wishes she could divorce both of them - then having 'totally been there', goes after her. Happy now? Victor's left to frown at Ashley (who doesn't appear so).

Dining at the club, Jack's future wife (and future children) appreciate him putting them first. Chloe interrupts their kiss - sorry I'm late. She relays the 'huge emergency' - the roof caved in on the church - but she's got it covered - Sacred Heart just had a cancellation. Dr P's relieved - as long as it's a Catholic wedding. Jack seems to have a problem with Sacred Heart - but no, he doesn't want to postpone the wedding either.

Kay's alone with Cane, Jill and Tucker - who's determined to sell Jabot. Jill sides with Kay - Jabot's the crown jewel of CI. Cane lists reasons why he shouldn't sell Jabot (but also gets nowhere). Over Jill's objection, Kay gets a minute alone with Tucker (who assures Jill didn't know about him selling Jabot). What does Tucker plan to do with Kay's company? Sell it off - piece by piece - dismantling what she took a lifetime to build. Kay isn't impressed that she'll reap the benefits - you really despise me. No - 'not at all'? THAT'S a lie.

Back at the ranch, Ashley worries about Abby - who's scared, confused - and let down by both of them. Ashley takes most of the blame - for not being there (when she wasn't 'well') - and just wants to give her stability. Victor does too - they just have different ideas on how to accomplish that.

Between the book shelves at Trimbles, Abby ignores a voicemail from Noah - and taking a bottle of booze from her purse, pours some into her coffee cup - then pulls faces as she gulps some down. Spotting Ryder, Abby fixes her hair and joins him filling out a job application. Offered (and taking) a sip of her coffee, he pulls faces too, and pushes it back - what are you doing?

Kay's not buying this manure that this is about business - he's furious because she gave him away. They have THAT in common - she was furious with herself - and punished herself more than Tucker ever could. Comfortable life? she scoffs - he must know she had a drinking problem. Kay was weak and frightened - and made a wrong choice (that she suffered from). Listen well - she understands his resentment. DON'T deny it - for years she wallowed in bitterness - and punished Jill. And here's her first bit of motherly advice - vengeance is wrong. Forgiveness? Tucker chuckles - how convenient. Ok - Tucker forgives Kay - he'll let go of his bitterness - but not his business sense - that's why he's selling CI off. It's merely his standard practice. But you chose MY company, Kay tears up - it's just a little boy's angry tantrum, are her final words before marching out.

Chloe tells Jack and Dr P that she's returning to RS - but the wedding's still her top priority. But never mind her inability to tame Billy - have they chosen their song? The chuckles indicate no.

Jill's seated at the club with Cane - unhappy that she didn't know of Tucker's plans for Jabot. But for the last time, she DIDN'T know who he was when she met him - didn't know it'd turn into a relationship - and never did they discuss business. Of COURSE she would have tried to stop him. Cane does believe that, right? He does - and thinks her in a unique position to fight this man. Jill thinks it too late. She's not 'giving up' - she's accepting reality. But determined to save Jabot, Jill thinks they should approach Tucker together. Jack intercepts them - hot date with your boss? And as Cane's sent ahead, Jack declares Jill a parasite who latches onto men - like she did Kay's husband, and John. Hopefully Tucker figures it out soon - so Jack doesn't have to deal with her at Jabot. Be careful what you wish for honey, Jill chuckles (leaving Jack wearing a worried 'what the hell does THAT mean' look).

Inviting Cane to sit, Tucker asks how Lily and the pregnancy are going. No - Jill didn't tell him - he makes it his business to know about his employees. Cane IS bothered (by the games he's playing with Kay). Tucker notes the thick 'irony' in the room. Yes - he knows of the scam Cane pulled. But Cane did that to have a family - he knows Kay's a wonderful mother. Birth doesn't make you a mother, Tucker points out - plus, in business, there's only 'players'.

Thank God I found you, Kay joins Jack at the bar - then updates that Tucker's selling Jabot. Oh, if only she sold Jabot to him last year. Perhaps it's NOT too late. Not wanting Jabot in the hands of strangers, she suggests Jack go make Tucker an offer.

Now calmer, Ashley explains that Adam never felt as good as Nick and Vikki (and doesn't want HER girls feeling that way - that Victor loves THEM more). Wait a minute - OUR girls, Victor corrects. He won't allow that to happen. Ashley doesn't believe him - there's been too much betrayal. She gets a call from Jack - McCall's put Jabot on the block - and Kay's given her blessing for them to make a bid. That's big - but so's the price tag. Jack, Ashley, Billy and Traci must all get in on it. Ashley excuses herself from Victor to speak privately - unaware that Victor's listening over the baby monitor. Ashley's IN - we have to get Dad's company back.

Abby continues to drink - and cheerily offers Ryder more. Yeah sure - he takes the cup away. You're underage. Abby pulls the bottle from her purse - come on - we'll have fun! Ryder has enough problems as it is. Fine - but don't say I didn't offer, Abby hops up - surely there's people in this town who want to have a good time. With a sigh, Ryder heads out after her. In front of the bookstore, Abby's already pulled the bottle out. You'll get arrested, Ryder warns - gimme that. No - get away! And as Noah rounds the corner, to defend Abby, the bottle shatters on the sidewalk. You trying to get her drunk!? Noah squawks. Don't be stupid Noah - it was mine, Abby admits - he was trying to get it away from me. Leaving Noah with the 'headache', Ryder heads back into the book store.

As Ashley changes Faith's diaper, Victor gives Jill a call. Knowing she has some 'pull' with McCall - don't let him sell Jabot to Jack (who'll just fire her). Friends in high places can be beneficial, Victor adds. Jill's full of confidence - reminding Victor that he did nothing for her when she came to him (penniless). Friends in high places don't come much higher that Tucker McCall do they? Have a nice day Victor ~click~

Hanging up, Jill greets Cane - sorry it took so long - but you know Jack. She immediately launches into her save Jabot campaign - it could be a stellar performer. Jabot stands for luxury - sex appeal - you'll increase sales in other consumer businesses (hotels, restaurants, air lines etc). Think of the tie ins and cross promotions! We can shoot Jabot campaigns at your resorts. We? Yes, she and Cane have a proven track record at Jabot. Cane's not interested - sorry. And Cane? Like Jill said - he's already proven himself at Jabot - he now wants to work for Tucker McCall His 'personal issues'? No problem - he can separate the two. Good man, Tucker's seemingly impressed. With a quick kiss, Cane leaves a very disappointed Jill - who then tries to pimp her 'other' son; Billy. Yeah - Tucker met him, remember? Oh yeah, he was .... wasted. Jill's further disappointed when Tucker makes it clear that he's sticking with his original plan.

Still hanging around the club, Jack hangs up with Traci - then tells Kay that both his sisters are onboard. The Abbott's will take it from here, Jack assures - don't you worry. Kay can't influence Tucker's decision - but if there's ever anything she CAN do .... Rejoining Chloe and Dr P, Jack's 'cut loose' - the ladies are off to Fenmore's for some dress shopping. After Chloe leaves, Jack informs P that the Abbott's are putting together a bid to buy Jabot - but rest assured, he won't let business come first. He's been so close before - but won't let Jabot slip through his fingers - not this time.

Jill gives it one more try - can't Tucker reconsider selling Jabot? He'll be passing up a tremendous opportunity. Has she thought about the opportunities for HER? Tucker's willing to give 'Darlin' a job at any one of his divisions - or fund a start up - she can create her own legacy. Wow - that's so generous - but nothing could mean more to Jill than Jabot does. Tucker MAY hang onto it - depends on the 'biz'. Whatever you do, don't sell to Jack Abbott, Jill warns - he plays fast and loose with the rules - and always has SOME drama going on. He'd be the death of that company.

At CL's, Noah gives Abby a tall glass of water - and a stern lecture. Stealing the booze from her Mom's house was stupid. Booze almost killed him - and DID kill his sister. Do NOT do it again. Ok, Abby agrees - but who's he calling? What's he gonna say? Noah tells Victor that he found Abby safe and sound at CL's - they're headed home now. Rejoining Victor, Ashley's relieved - but hopes they won't be arguing when the kids return. Victor assures they'll finish the discussion another time.

At Fenmore's, Chloe's all excited about the stunning dresses being set aside. She adores Jack - the patron Saint of Screw Ups - he's not all holier than thou. He's the BEST brother in law - and will be a great husband, she's sure.

Jack visits Tucker to present his offer to buy Jabot - sure he'll receive others, but none will be better than this one. Jill stands by looking almost as smug as Jack and Tucker (who now holds the envelope).

Back at Fenmore's, Chloe announces 'they're ready for us' - and whatever dress she chooses Jack will be blown away. P knows something else he'll be blown away by - but it's a secret. The two head to the dressing room, P whispering in Chloe's ear.

Cane joins Kay at her table at the club. An how is sweetheart? Alright - Kay has her health, Murphy - family and friends. In time of crisis you find out who's on your side - and who's not. Cane doesn't think Jill was part of Tucker's plan - just trying to make the best of a bad situation. Where's she now? McCall's - trying to convince him NOT to sell Jabot. But he couldn't take Jack's place at Jabot - as he needs to be Kay's eyes and ears at CI. Yes, he rejected Jill's offer - and No, she wasn't happy about it. Cane loves them both - after they get rid of McCall, she and Jill can make up. You two have come so far. Seemed that way - but Kay now feels 'cast aside'.

Noah leaves Abby to face Victor and Ashley - who understand this is painful for her - but lashing out and running away won't help. You DO have a say, Ashley insists - what can she do to help? Sat down, Abby's pawed over by both Ashley and Victor (who knows she misses her sister - but she's here - the heart beating in his chest). Abby tears up - it's not the same - nothing's the same. As she's released. Ashley wants no more upheaval in Abby's life. This ranch will always be your home, Victor caves - then leaves.

Go ahead - take a look, Jack's sure he'll like the offer. Tucker rips the unopened envelope in half - he's not accepting bids. But he hasn't changed his mind (as Jill states). Jabot will be put up for auction - at a date to be determined. Bids will be sealed - Jack can make an offer at that time - but not before. A bidding war - that's what you want? Jack looks grim. Do you have the ammo to win it? Tucker puts the envelope in Jack's coat. You really DON'T know me, do you? are Jack's parting words (leaving Jill and Tucker to grin at one another).

Next: Nick informs that Vikki's gonna be home just as soon as she wraps things up - it's turning out to be more complicated than we thought. A lot of things are, JT replies .... At CL's with Abby, a disappointed Noah reads an article (presumably in RS) - He has no morals - I'm ashamed he bears the Newman name .. Adam marches into the club - making a beeline for Victor - You son of a bitch - you had to take things too far, didn't you!? Ashley and Abby are in the background - stunned.

My Thoughts: Why is Abby the snobby rich kid so interested in Ryder (the homeless, unemployed creepy looking guy)? ... Jack - you're forgetting one of 'these men' Jill (the parasite) latched onto - YOU (yeah - in the cabin years ago - when she was your stepmother). I'd have thought he'd have thrown Victor's name in there too (not that it lasted long) .... What exactly IS the status of Jabot? Today Jill claims it's the jewel in CI's crown - but just yesterday, Tucker claimed it was an 'under performer' (and who's running Jabot, NE and CI while everyone's at the club?) .. Um - aren't tie ins and cross promotions the same thing? Who cares where Jabot's photo shoots take place? Make up ads are usually a close up - of a face ..... What about the drink Ryder took from Abby - the one he put under the table at Trimble's? Won't anyone find it - and blame him for putting it there? If Ryder's hungry enough to eat scraps found in the garbage, wouldn't he be thirsty enough to drink good booze offered to him? If he's eating from the 'rubbish' - who cares about germs he'd get from Abby's cup. Whatever happened to Trimble's security guard - the one who caught Eden 'stealing' books? Does anyone ever BUY books there? Or do they just go to crease and put finger prints all over the pages? Hey - maybe THAT' the job Ryder's applying for ... They really need to hang a 'read before buying' sign ... Noah's such a great kid now that he doesn't drink (but don't expect any 'say no to underage sex' lectures) ... Come on Ashley - you're not sorry you married Victor - you got a fussy baby out of the deal (with monthly child support payments I'm sure) - a hefty divorce settlement - and a ranch .... Victor suggests purchasing an adjacent property for Ashley - but no - none are for sale, she quickly yelps (like Victor couldn't easily persuade any of his neioghbours to sell) ... I see both sides of this one - Victor SHOULD stick to his word - BUT - Why is Ashley so attached to the ranch? It's gloomy - and comes complete with the entire Newman extended family. It's also a place full of bad memories for her. The only thing she's added to the ranch to make it HER home, is ONE picture on the wall ... I wish I could divorce both of you, Abby screeches. You CAN Abby - it's called emancipation - just white out Noah's name on his papers - and add yours. Or go live with Uncle Jack - that would really piss Victor off. Or better yet - off screen - with Aunt Traci in NY .... No - Abby doesn't need excuses - she needs another pony - or a Gucci purse. She's not even good at stealing her Mom's booze - she should be emptying it out and refilling it with water - duh .... Victor's gonna call the guards at the gate - to have them stop Abby? What are these highly paid guards doing when the likes of Jack or Gloria drive through? Are their eyes glued to the TV? The latest copy of RS - or do they just smile and wave them through? ... It IS ironic for Kay to preach 'forgiveness' to Tucker - as she's obviously never forgiven Jill (for what transpired 30 years ago) - nor is she willing to forgive her now .... Dr P wouldn't feel married if she wasn't married in a Catholic church? Yes - I can tell she's very religious - by the way she's abstaining from premarital sex - and attending church every Sunday. Odd that she never once mentioned religion or faith during the Christmas season or when counseling Lily through cancer .... Chloe's right - Jack likely HAS been to weddings 'and such' at Sacred heart - judging by his face, HE'S married there before - probably to Patty. Again P talks about future children - if Amber's hearing HER bio clock ticking, Dr P's has gotta sound like an anvil striking her upside her head (let's hope a baby isn't the 'surprise' she has planned) Why would P want a dress from Fenmore's tiny boutique rack? Why not go to a bridal store? Like that one on Say Yes To The Dress? .... Jack's local chapel of choice had the roof cave in - putting the parishioners out til 'March at the earliest' - but without any regard for the minister or his congregation, he agrees to marry elsewhere - not asking if anyone was hurt - or even saying 'that's horrible' - and he sure didn't care enough to consider pulling out his checkbook to make a donation to fix the roof?
