With Nick set to take Mr Ears to Summer (who's spending the night with Nikki and Victor), Phyllis informs that Summer's Swiss doctor's gonna be in Boston (and wants to see her). Great - maybe Nick can take them to the airport when he takes Noah. Sharon convinced him that Noah needs a break. Yes - he spoke with Sharon. No - she didn't mention 'going off' on Phyllis (who gives her version of the run in). 'Beautiful' isn't focusing on Adam and Sharon - but she can't forget the man she saw dying (because of Adam). Somebody out there MUST know what went on between Adam and Dr Taylor. Abby arrives in a panic - my Mom's totally freaking out.

Turning the ranch upside down, Ashley flashes back to the night Adam gave her the swatch of fabric he 'found' under Victor's car bumper - she better not say anything - he's the only one who can protect her from going to prison (for vehicular manslaughter). Hey - what's going on? Sharon's vaguelly told about the little piece of cloth - from a car accident. I've got it covered, Ashley assures - but maybe Sharon could take the fussy Faith for a little drive. Sure - it always put Noah to sleep, Sharon agrees. Besides, she was on her way out to see Adam anyway.

Mike's reading the articles (dated February 2007) found in Eden's desk - when Daisy returns with Lauren (who's got another migraine). As Daisy goes to make Lauren some tea, Mike informs that he called Eden (who thinks she's being set up - by Daisy). Lauren sighs.

At CL's, Kevin gripes about having to work for Tucker - instead of Mrs C. Talk of a 'nice warm bed', causes Jana to confide that Ryder was eating from the rubbish bin. And where's Kevin going? To find his brother - whaddaya think? Grabbing her keys, Jana leaves too.

Seeing Noah enter Trimble's, Ryder puts his hood up. Noah joins Adam to wait for Sharon. So - how're you doing? Noah awkwardly strikes up conversation. Sharon wheels Faith in - Ashley's upset about something - something to do with a piece of cloth from a car accident. Yup - that's all she said. Adam hurries out - he knows how Ashley gets when she's lost something. He calls to summon his car - sorry to rush off, he gives the puzzled Sharon a quick kiss. Outside, Adam frets to himself - My God Ashley - what're you doing?

Thrilled to hear (from Sharon) that Dad OK'd his trip to Paris, Noah gets a timely call from Eden. Whoa! Mike accused you of WHAT!? Noah sputters into the phone.

Lauren reminds Mike of the sullen teen Eden was when she first got there - and Daisy's been so sweet and accommodating. Mike defends Eden - she came around. Lauren's not so sure - she WAS brought up in a cult. And as everything starts getting fuzzy, Lauren groans in agony. That's IT - Mike's taking her to a doctor. Don't leave - I need to talk to you, Mike snaps at Daisy (who expresses concern over Lauren - but smiles smugly once the Baldwin's leave).

Abby tells Nick and Phyllis how her Mom was last summer - and the creepy Adam was always hovering - acting so concerned. He was the only one who could 'talk her down'. Sending Nick off for tissue, Phyllis pumps Abby for info on Adam - is HE the reason Ashley's so determined to find the purple cloth?

Arriving home, Adam's immediately confronted by Ashley (who wants the piece of cloth he showed her the night she thought she hit Sabrina). I was 8 months pregnant and half out of my mind - why would you try make me think I killed someone? Adam claims it didn't happen that way at ALL.

Kevin finds Ryder begging for change outside Trimble's. I don't believe this, Kevin wonders why Ryder lied about staying in a motel - how can I help? Crash on your sofa again? Kevin hesitates. Aw - forget it. Ryder will be right there.

Noah assures Eden that he'll figure it all out. Told where the spare key is, he'll call her from Mike's. Noah then tells Sharon that someone's trying to frame Eden. No - not you. He's forgiven Sharon (as she didn't know what she was doing) - this is deliberate. He MUST clear Eden's name - but don't worry - Noah knows what he's doing.

Abby reminds that Patty was the one who gaslighted Ashley. And she'll stay locked up if Phyllis has any say in it. When Nick returns with tissues - he offers to take Abby to meet Noah at Trimble's. Phyllis plans to go see Ashley - to find out what's REALLY going on.

Adam denies lying - then OR now. Ashley KNOWS what Adam told her - and yes, she talked to Nikki (who remembered Victor's car swerving to miss her). She'll ask again - why would he show her a piece of bloody cloth - from a woman she never hit? What did he stand to gain by that? You're a liar! Outside listening, Phyllis is now right there - as Ashley asks Adam why he'd try to make her think she's insane.

In a room at GCM, Lauren's now feeling better - and sure it's stress. Mike thinks it more - remember how Sheila tried to poison her with the necklace? But it's impossible that she's alive. Sheila IS dead. Shades of TGVN, Mike vows to fly in every specialist in the world to find out what's wrong with Lauren - nothing to worry about.

Now at Trimble's, Noah thanks Nick for OK-ing his trip to Paris ~hug~ then goes off with Abby (leaving Sharon to share what little she knows about the 'purple cloth'). Yeah, Nick was told about her run in with Phyllis - he told her to back off - there's been enough fighting, he figures.

The door was open, Phyllis explains - then updates that Abby's worried about Ashley (does she need help?) The place looks like a cyclone hit. Eyeing Adam, Phyllis knows she's looking for a piece of cloth. Ashley then welcomes Neil in - what happened here? We lost something, Adam explains dissmisively - but Ashley and I have it covered. Ashley wants Adam to leave - right now.

Back at CL's, Jana's been everywhere looking for Ryder. Kevin found him - begging for change (and feels terrible about it). Jana doesn't know what to believe when it comes to Ryder - sorry she didn't tell him sooner. So am I! Kevin marches off.

Baldwin residence, Daisy answers the phone. Ryder insists she meet him now - or else he'll come to HER.

Ashley doesn't want to speak to Adam alone - nor does she want him to go looking for Abby. I'm on your side, Adam assures - don't forget that, he says in parting. Call if you need anything, Phyllis leaves too. Ashley calls Sharon to check on Faith (who's now calmed down). Telling Sharon she'll call her later, Ashley gets a supportive hug from Neil.

Noah and Abby rejoin Nick and Sharon - they're off to the club to see Victor (and will take Mr Ears to Summer). With hugs, the kids are gone - leaving Sharon and Nick to admire Faith (who so reminds them of Noah - must be the Newman genes). Nick wonders if this is all real - her married to Adam - living at the ranch. Is this what Sharon wants? Is she happy?

Still at GCM, Mike's spoken to the pet store. The clerk who sold the rat is on his break - but will hopefully call Mike soon to solve the mystery. He wonders if it's connected to the anniversary of the Sheila incident - post traumatic stress? If only he could erase all reminders of it. If Lauren won't stop working at the boutique, she MUST take more breaks (and bubble baths). Don't worry - we'll get through this - together ~kiss~

Abby ends a call with Daisy - it's not a good time (she's got errands to run). Too bad - Noah really wanted to pick up some of Eden's stuff. Since Victor's not there, Abby plans to work out. Noah has some schoolwork to download before heading to Paris ~hug~ Abby will so miss her best friend. As Noah leaves, Adam comes in the revolving door - wanting to take Abby home. But no - she's going work out. Phyllis comes up behind him - what a coincidence - buy you a drink?

Faith on her knee, Sharon talks glowingly of Adam - and feeling at home at the ranch - getting to take care of Faith - it's perfect. What WE had was perfect, Nick adds. Back then - it was, Sharon agrees - grateful they're both happy. Yes - she IS happy. Nick can't almost believe it - because of Faith (who he then takes a turn holding).

Ashley talks to Neil about the torture Patty put her through - seeing Sabrina everywhere - like the night she thought she hit her - Adam showed her a piece of bloody purple cloth. Even stranger - Nikki WAS at the ranch that night - then, when she disappeared, Ashley thought she killed her. But that was proven wrong when Nikki returned. So, where DID the purple cloth come from? Why does Adam claim the conversation never took place? COULD Ashley have been hallucinating? Feeling 'stable', could Ashley finally be remembering?

Kevin's in front of the laptop and on the phone - renting an apartment - paying 3 months in advance. It's not for me - it's for my brother.

The DR, tells the Baldwin's that tests show nothing's physically wrong - could be severe stress. She prescribes something for the headaches - but is told to skip the sedatives. As Lauren goes to freshen up, Mike gets a call from the pet store clerk. Yes - a girl sold him the rat (one who sounds just like Eden). What's wrong? Lauren comes out to ask Mike (who looks most disappointed).

Outside Trimble's, Ryder and Daisy bicker. He's freezing his ass off - but Daisy's doing all the hard work (putting on dark wigs, sending annoying bitches off to stay with a long lost relative etc.). Be grateful you're not me! she snaps. How could you abandon me? Ryder marches off (as Jana comes around the corner - what does THAT mean - 'after all you've been through together'?)

Phone to his ear, Noah lets himself into the Baldwin's. Ascertaining that the place is empty, he tells Eden - coast's clear - now let's see what Daisy's hiding.

Neil believes Ashley completely. Thank you ~hug~ First things first - clean up this mess. THEN they'll figure out what's really going on.

Nick hovers as Sharon reads to Faith - both reading the last line - and they both lived happily ever after, their eyes meet.

Still at the club's front door, Adam doesn't have time for a drink. Phyllis needles him - he had Ashley to himself last summer - him and his pal DR Taylor. She can't stop wondering - why would a Harvard business grad be hanging out with an OBGYN professor - twice his age? WHY?

Next: Tell me about your meeting with Tucker, Victor asks - how did he react to your offer? He wants to buy Newman Cosmetics - merge it with Jabot, Nick replies ... Either you lied to me the morning you took Victor's car - or you're lying to me now, Ashley confronts Adam (as a stunned Sharon stands beside him) ... Rafe warns Sharon - you can't trust this guy - he's a consummate game player.

My Thoughts: Why would Phyllis insist that Abby needs a tissue? She was barely able to shed a tear at her father - or sister's funeral - never mind because her Mom's frustrated because she can't find a silly piece of cloth ... If Summer's so attached to Mr Ears (her pink bunny), why does she always leave him behind? ... If the Baldwin's spare key is so easy to find, why did Daisy have to break in with her credit card? ... Oh great - memories of the poisoned necklace can only mean one thing - Lauren's headaches are caused in much the same way (by Daisy's ever flowing tea I'm guessing) ... Why can't the Swiss doctor come out to GC to see Summer? Doesn't he know she's a NEWMAN? ... IF Ashley had her baby in prison, it might have been the best for all - cause then maybe the prison doctor could have broke the news that there IS no baby ... Eden's cult couldn't be evil - those who went to Malibu for the Fisher's wedding had a great time - and they really enjoyed those special brownies ... Why is Adam offering to driving around looking for Abby? Ashley never expressed any need to go looking for the kid ... Why does Neil need to help Ashley clean the ranch up - doesn't he know they have a fleet of housekeepers? .... Why does Phyllis think it that mysterious that Adam would hang out with someone twice his age - someone in obstertrics as opposed to business. Does she know about Mrs C's odd relationships with kids young enough to be her grandchildren? ... Why didn't Ryder stay at a motel? Kevin DID give him a wad of cash last time he bumped into him - and what does Ryder have against staying at the homeless shelter? If Ryder's trying to get a job at Trimble's, begging for change outside the front window might not be such a great idea.
