Kay goes to needle Tucker - what? He's only 'pleased' with the sale of Jabot? Not triumphant? Vindicated? Didn't she warn him that trying to rip her heart out wouldn't make him feel any better? She gave him up to strangers when he was a baby - it can't be undone - so suck it up kid!

Jack's on the phone with a lawyer - ranting about Victor's 'corporate espionage' - and while that's being 'researched' - find out how much his Victor's bid was ~click~. Victor saunters into Jabot's boardroom - having a rough day? He's anxious to get started - as is Jabot's new 'ambassadoress' Gloria makes her grand entrance - at long last, she's returning to these 'hallowed halls'. Victor grins with satisfaction - Jack's smile is upside down.

Amber races into Trimble's to show Daniel a photo on her cell phone. L'il D - and he's doing just fine! He didn't really remember her the way Deacon made it sound. Seems he paid Tawny (Amber's Mom) plenty to take care of the kid. Daniel's relieved - and SO not ready to care for a child. Amber's smile fades - he may not be ready for kids (but does he not hear that clock ticking?).

At JT's to babysit, Mac's told that Reed's not there. Vikki's not either - she's stuck in New York - and boo hoo - it's the Hellstrum's anniversary. Meanwhile, Vikki's at some pub (celebrating St Patrick's day a bit early) on the phone trying to arrange a flight - I need to get home. Ordering a beer from the bartender, she notes that it's green. Enter Billy juggling a large stuffed dog - on the phone he tells Chloe that his flight's been delayed. Wheeling his luggage over to the bar, Billy orders a green beer too. Hello 'fancy pants' Vikki greets him (warning the bartender that he gets more annoying when he's drunk). Billy has has a joke of his own - a Newman and Abbott walk into a bar ...

Amber loved being a Mom - and tries to convince Daniel that he'd love it too - being a Daddy that is - and he'd be the best Daddy ever. Someday, Daniel agrees. Amber's had problems carrying a baby to term - so worries she might miss her chance if they don't try right away. Daniel reminds that he's unemployed - they have no money. Arriving at Trimble's, Daisy conceals a smirk as Daniel grabs Amber by the arms - how many times does he have to say this? I'm. NOT. Ready.

Back at JT's, Mac dives into pizza (while JT's gonna wait for Vikki). His plans? Dinner and dancing at Indigo. He's not sure about the gift he got Vikki. Why? I'll show ya....

At the pub, Billy and Vikki chat - chuckling about all the gifts he bought for Delia's birthday. Vikki's going home with a few gifts too - including an anniversary gift for JT. When's the big day? Today. Vikki quips a RS headline - Newman Heiress Spends Anniversary Alone. And did he take her advice? Not to ruin anymore lives while she was gone? What the hell did you do now? she snaps - when he pulls out a copy of RS.

Gloria just loves the title Victor came up with - embassadoress. He's set up meetings with department store heads all over the world. She's perfect, Victor gloats. Jack rants about her almost destroying Jabot. Her public image is one of poisoned face creams and lawsuits. Gloria sees herself as a survivor - women will identify with her (and all she's overcome). When Victor agrees, Jack warns that he's using her - to get to him - and vows to garnishee anything she's paid. Glo's working for 'next to nothing' - it's not about the money. Victor suggests she check out the executive suites - sure she'll find something to her liking. Now alone, Victor reminds of his threat to make Jack's life hell - this is just the beginning.

Mac admires the boxed necklace - a locket with Reed's photo inside. Vikki will love it. JT thinks it a bit sad - the gift isn't about them - it's about Reed (the only thing holding their marriage together these days). Mac thinks that OK - Reed's the best parts of both of them - isn't it perfect if he brings them closer again? That's just what JT needed to hear. Willing to fight for the marriage, he hopes Vikki feels the same way.

Billy just loves Vikki's Dad - he's the gift that keeps on giving. But Vikki suggests his readers might be getting tired of his vendetta against the Newman's. And when she threatens to shove a shamrock down his throat, Billy thinks that kinda kinky (then goes on to explain Victor gave the interview willingly). When Vikki reads a few lines, Billy can see in her eyes that she approves. Vikki stifles a yawn - and scurries off when Billy orders more green beer. I think she likes us, he's left talking to his giant stuffed canine.

Amber's not pressuring Daniel - she's sharing her feelings. Let's just drop it. Hey guys, Daisy comes along to thank Daniel for (and return) his camera. Ignoring Daisy, Amber cancels their dinner plans - and marches out to eat 'on her own'. Is she OK? Daisy sounds all concerned - then shows Daniel the great photos she took with his camera. This one didn't work out - what's she doing wrong? Looking over his shoulder - seeing Amber's long gone, Daniel sure does have time to tutor Daisy on the fine art of photography.

Jack pours and drinks - Goldilock's finished trying out all the offices? Give her this one - make her CEO, he suggests. Jack expected Victor to come back hurling lightening bolts - but Gloria's more like a spitball. Victor's NOT finished with Jack - he's only just begun. Jack's not worried - what's Victor gonna do? Say nasty things in an interview? Seems Victor's 'lost his edge'. Jack sure does regret convincing Traci to let him continue living. Oh sorry - is it inconvenient to be reminded that Colleen's heart beats in his chest? Too bad he didn't get her conscious too. Victor then accuses Jack of trying to take advantage of Kay's problems - HE plans to give Jabot back to her. WHEN is none of Jack's business. Refusing to reveal who's to be Jabot's CEO, Victor leaves saying only that it'll be in capable hands.

His feet up on the desk, Tucker's on the phone - in no hurry to end his chat about scuba diving. Moseying around his office until Tucker hangs up, Kay now wants to discuss their 'history'. We don't have a history, Tucker all but rolls his eyes. When Kay thinks it time he got over whatever fantasies he had about the childhood he missed out on, Tucker claims SHE'S the one who keeps bringing it up. Undeterred by Tucker's disinterest, Kay's melodramatic tirade of analogies gathers steam. She's never been defeated - and WON'T be. He may have knocked her down with a sucker punch - but she'll come back swinging. Chop off my fingers one by one - enjoy it while it lasts. Know this - keep chopping away - there's one finger you forgot to chop off. By the time Kay wraps up her theatrical spiel - and marches out the door, Tucker's chuckle turns into a full blown belly laugh.

Side by side, Daniel and Daisy go over the photos on the camera. As he prattles on, Daisy takes a candid shot of him - then giggles - gotcha. Daniel ducks his head as he chuckles too - slightly embarrassed.

Well - that sucks - due to the weather, Vikki may not even make it home. Seems there's no need for Mac to babysit after all. Mac continues to devour the pizza - in no hurry to leave. Her love life? What love life? How can she date while she's carrying twins - and getting over Billy?

Now at a table in the pub, Billy's joking about the waiter who had the nerve to pinch Vikki. Billy is SO wearing green. No 'Kiss me I'm Irish' boxers? Vikki teases. Lifting his shirt, Billy pretends to read his boxers. 'All this and brains too' - hey bartender - do I get free beer for that? Vikki laughs through her embarrassment.

Joining Victor at Jabot, Kay wonders what his secret is - how did he outbid everyone to purchase Jabot? At least it'll be in good hands. Until Victor turns it back over to HER. Well THAT will burn Tucker's hide, she chuckles - the man hates me - and doesn't CARE to know her. There's not a sentimental bone in his body. But meanwhile, Tucker's reading Kay's memoirs - sticky notes poking out from numerous pages. Looking troubled, he tosses it onto his desk.

Kay's next stop is CL's - summoned over to hear Amber whine that she and Daniel might not 'make it' - we have different goals in life. Her goal? To be a mother. Daniel - not so much. Kay advises her weepy friend to maintain her relationship. Maybe Daniel will change his mind in a year or so. Don't worry about that biological clock - there's plenty of time, Kay assures.

Daniel and Daisy come back in from taking some night time photos outside. He better get going. Yeah, Amber seemed pretty ticked off, Daisy comments. Making up's half the fun, Daniel grins - then hears that Daisy isn't into high school boys - she prefers someone more mature. If she was his 'kid' sister, Daniel would tell her not to rush. Well - good luck - see you around, he leaves Daisy at Trimble's, looking rejected over the 'kid sister' remark.

Still at Jabot, Victor ends a business call as Gloria joins him - bursting with ideas - ways to expand her role to maximize ... Another time, Victor dismisses her - twice - good night Gloria.

At CL's, Jack's on the phone. Victor bid HOW much? That can't be right - it's WAY more than our offer (which was 'obscenely high'). Why would he do that? It makes no sense, Jack huffs in distress.

With two full plates before them, Vikki would rather starve to death than eat the foul smelling 'fritter's off Billy's plate. Billy digs into his bag - here's something she might like. 'Your royal highness', he places a tiny tiara on 'Princess's' head. Vikki conceals her amusement as she continues to eat.

Back at the Hellstrum's, JT and Mac are playing Candyland. Eat it Jeffrey Todd! (who then concedes defeat). Unable to wait for Vikki any longer, JT opens the pizza box - oh great, Mac's eaten it all. And as the apologetic Mac heads to the kitchen to make him a sandwich, JT runs after her - stay away from my food!!!!

Victor pays Tucker a visit. Yes, a drink would be nice. The chit chat soon leads to Jabot. Will Victor return the company to his good friend Kay - or will he merge it with NE Cosmetics? Victor's undecided. And when Tucker comments on how powerful Victor is, Victor assures that Kay's powerful too - and not to be underestimated. Well, she's definitely tougher than Tucker gave her credit for. One day you'll find out how tough, Victor raises his glass - and when that day comes, he'll be there to witness it.

Daniel joins Amber at CL's - where she apologizes. Daniel acknowledges that she's a passionate person - that's what he loves about her. He's not saying 'never' to kids - but can't picture himself in charge of a kid's life (when he's not even sure what he wants to do with his own). So - no kids right now. Yes, Amber can live with that ~kiss~ The Romalotti's are gonna be just fine ~hug~ Or maybe not - cause at Trimble's, Daisy smiles as she goes through the photos she took of Daniel that night.

JT pouts - doesn't look like Vikki's gonna make it home tonight. Oh well - another night - Mac's always happy to babysit. Showing her out, JT thanks Mac for hanging out. Now alone, he flips the lights off - passing a framed photo of the happy family - the locket beside it - still in it's box.

Still in the pub, Vikki's nodded off using the stuffed dog as a pillow. Amused, Billy straightens the tiara on her head - smiling as he sips his green beer.

At Jabot, Glo swivels in the chair behind the desk. Now propping her feet up on the desk, she looks mighty pleased with herself - today ambassadoress - tomorrow - it's up for grabs.

On the CL's patio, Kay invites Jack to sit down. She knows he must be disappointed. Yes - a bitter pill - but Jack thinks he'll have another chance at buying Jabot. And when Jack doubts Victor will give the company back, Kay doubts Victor would turn on a dear friend. Oh no? Didn't he turn on Ashley? And the family who gave him a second chance at life? Remember the letter read at Colleen's funeral? Guess Victor's 'undying gratitude' died after all. As Kay's friend, Jack warns that Victor Newman is a scorpion - he may not WANT to sting her, but he will - it's his nature. Silent, Kay doesn't look quite so confident now.

Drink in hand, Tucker comments on the uncanniness of Victor's bid - arriving at the last minute - as so much higher than the other bids. Victor claims it's just an investment. You overpaid - could Victor have another goal? Victor's sure it'll prove to be a good investment. Thanks for the opportunity - and the drink. Have a good day. One on side of the door, Victor looks smug - on the other, Tucker looks puzzled.

Next: I just want it to be perfect, P says (as she's about to head up to her suite at the club). Jack grins reassurance - tomorrow you'll be Mrs John Abbott JR ... Paul's on the phone as Patty hovers behind him with a towel on her head - snatching something from the housekeeping cart in the hallway, she hides it in the towel she carries). Patty is completely delusional - I can't reach her, Paul says ... It's just time, Dr P tells Patty (now in her cell). It isn't because you're marrying my husband? Patty glares.

My Thoughts: Why would Victor tell Kay he's gonna give Jabot back to her - then tell Tucker he doesn't know what his plans are yet? ... The actor playing Tucker actually looked like he was holding back laughter as Kay was carrying on and on about him chopping her fingers off - can't blame him - she WAS a bit over the top with the theatrics. The scene would have been funnier of Kay actually 'gave him the finger' (the one he hasn't chopped off yet) as she marched out. Now THAT woulda been funny ... I have no idea why a married couple can't bring any chemistry to the roles they play on screen - but Vikki has far more chemistry with Billy than with JT. But pairing JT with Mac sounds about as exciting as Ester with Mitchell Sherman. If JT's worried about his wedding gift not being about 'them' - why not put a photo of him and Vikki on the other side? Duh - lockets usually hold TWO photos ... 'Princess' must be Billy's new nickname for everyone - didn't he just call Vikki's brother, Adam, 'Princess' the other day? ... LOL@Vikki trying (and failing) to get an unruly piece of lettuce from her fork to her mouth ... More reminders that Daniel's a great photographer (and unemployed) make it that much stranger that Jack wouldn't hire his former stepson to take the engagement shots of him and P. Daniel may not be THE famous Malcolm Winters - but really does sound like he knows what he's talking about when it comes to taking 'pretty pictures' ... Why would Jack need his lawyer to find out what Victor bid for Jabot? Isn't he still employed at Jabot? Couldn't he just have called Kay? Jack doesn't know Victor's bid - but he knows what Victor named the puppy he's never seen? ... Since Victor's always going on about not making business decisions based on personal feelings - why else (other than sticking it to Jack) would he ever hire Gloria - the woman jailed for tainting it's face cream? Doubtful that the public would have forgotten the scandal, Jabot will need a PR genius - too bad there's no Mary Jane Benson on staff. And what a great way for the ambassadoress to be brought onboard - kicking out whomever now occupies whatever executive office she chooses as her own. Would would Victor pay an 'obscene' amount for Jabot? Why not outbid Jack by a dollar? .... If Daisy's looking for someone 'mature', I'm not sure Daniel's her guy. Plus, Daniel's not into teenage girls crushin' on him - sure didn't go well for Cassie .. Daniel can now do anything with his life - and doesn't 'know where to start'? How about getting a JOB? ... Why would Amber think Daniel's gonna make the best Daddy ever? He gets hives whenever she mentions kids - He's barely around kids - when was the last time he visited his sister Summer? .. Odd that Amber's so worried about HER biological clock ticking - while P - who's likely 20 years older - keeps babbling on about having 'tons' of kids ... How could it possibly be? That Vikki hasn't seen the latest copy of RS? Wouldn't she have picked it up while stuck at the airport? Having spotted her father on the cover at the newsstand? Nick didn't think to call and give her a heads up? ... Nice how Mac jams pizza into her mouth using the box as a plate (so that anything that falls out while she's talking with her mouth full can fall back onto the pizza).
