Today's Spoiler

With P unconscious, and a bottle of peroxide nearby, Patty could not be more pleased with her hair dressing skills - now, DR Emily Peterson - you look exactly like ME, she beams. Meanwhile, Paul's at the bar, whining to JT about his delusional sister - who now has P's face AND persona. Damn Victor and his sick plan, the Hardy boys agree - he never thinks about the collateral damage.

Greeting her parents at Jabot, Vikki can't believe Victor bought the company - and what? L'il ole ME as CEO?

Billy and Ashley are at CL's - while Billy's talking bachelor party, Ashley thinks 'their' surprise will really mean a lot to him. The surprise is Traci - who now arrives at Jack's to announce a family dinner to celebrate his wedding. Sounds perfect, Jack grins ~hug~

Oh look - Patty's in Dr P's clothes - and the unconscious Dr P is in Patty's gear. With a scarf over her head, Patty places a note in P's hand - I'd like to say I'm sorry - but I'm not - THAT'S what you get for trying to steal Jack away from me. Bye - hope you enjoy your stay. Stopped by an orderly, faux Dr P claims that Patty's sleeping after a rough night (which is just how it seems when the orderly peeks in on her).

Jack and Traci share a Hallmark moment. She so happy to see HIM happy (especially after losing out on Jabot) - he, marvels at how, after all she's been through, can BE happy for him. Oh dear brother - the dark days are WHY one needs to celebrate the good things in life ~hug~

Patty makes her way to CL's - where she dumps the peroxide bottle in Jana's 'rubbish bin'. On the patio, Patty goes through 'her' purse' - and reads the card Jack slipped into it (he can't wait to call dear Emily his wife). Packing up, Patty's on the move again.

Vikki would LOVE to reestablish herself as a top executive - Yes - she'll definitely take the CEO job. She pauses to admit her homecoming didn't go well - but who wants to talk about her marriage ending. Leaving 'for a meeting', Victor gives his daughter some sweet words of support (then outside the door, immediately calls JT - I want to see you NOW).

That leaves Jabot's new CEO to whine to her Mommy about JT (who she didn't miss nearly as much as Reed). She sure didn't miss the fighting and tension (which started up again as soon as she walked in the door). Vikki blames herself - not trusting JT, she cheated - and resented JT's new career. As Victor's daughter, she needs to be in control - fine for business, but not a relationship. Nikki can see she's done some soul searching - you can work it out. In tears Vikki admits they don't love each other anymore - staying together will be worse for Reed.

Victor meets JT at the club's bar - knowing it's been a difficult day for him - Vikki's very upset. Victor also knows that ending a marriage is tough. When JT's only concern is Reed, Victor hopes there won't be a custody battle - THAT would be hard on Reed too.

Patty enters 'her' suite' cautiously - then pulls out a box of hair dye - a new you is as easy as 1 2 3. Removing her scarf in front of the mirror, Patty whispers - bye bye blondie - and into the bathroom she goes.

Paul smiles at the sight of Patty sleeping peacefully. Patty? Patty? But unable to awaken Patty, he then reads the note. Patty! Paul then shouts out the door - Help! Somebody! She's barely breathing - she tried to kill herself. he screams at the orderly - then goes hoarse as he shouts at the limp rag doll in his arms - don't leave me! PATTY!!!

No, Victor's not giving JT an order - he just wants the divorce to be as amicable as possible - especially when it comes to custody of Reed. JT points out that Reed's not some subsidiary to be voted on by committee. Thank God he doesn't have to put up with Victor's power plays much longer. Victor concludes with a warning - if JT causes any difficulty, he'll have HIM to deal with.

At CL's, Billy approaches Vikki - griping that she's still giving him the cold shoulder. Hearing he's best man at Jack's wedding, Vikki chuckles - she doesn't expected to be invited to any Abbott gatherings - because she's Jabot's new CEO. Says who? Her Dad. Well THAT sure wipes the grin off Billy's face in a hurry.

Jack's sharing some laughs with his sisters - all looking forward to a family dinner (while Jack looks forward to making new memories). Ash hopes he learns from his many, many, many mistakes. Jack gets a call - you serious? We'll work it out ~click~ Jack then relays that Father Todd's stepping in for the scheduled Priest (who left for a family emergency). Oh well - if that's the only thing that goes wrong, Jack will be a happy groom.

Now brunette, Patty receives an envelope containing proofs of the bridal portraits. Picking up the dress, Patty smiles - now she knows how to do her hair and make up. Ring - ring. You can do this, she coaches herself - then answers P's phone. Paul sputters out that Patty tried to hurt herself - get over to Memorial now!

At the happy Hellstrum home, JT tells Vikki that Reed's out with Gabby. Vikki apologizes for running out - then announces she's CEO of Jabot. Wow - big news, JT's surprised Victor never mentioned it when Victor summoned him over. Vikki couldn't very well lie to her father - he knew she was upset. And what did Daddy say? He made it clear that he couldn't be happier.

Dessert box in hand, Billy arrives at the Abbott reunion - and wastes no time announcing that Vikki's the new CEO of Jabot. Jack groans - the 'Newmanization' of Jabot - more reason they HAVE to prove Victor had insider information. Bet you're glad you gave CC's heart to Mr Mumbles, aren't ya? Billy can't help saying. Traci's NOT glad that their celebration is now focused on a vendetta that took her daughter's life - she doesn't regret her decision - and won't agonize over it now (and be consumed with rage). She's moving forward - and wishes her siblings would too.

At GCM, Paul waits and frets. Patty arrives - takes a moment to regroup - then goes in to ask Paul what happened. She tried to kill herself - with stashed meds. They're trying to revive her. Patty stammers a bit - what are her chances? Paul's tone bears more than a hint of accusation - YOU were the last person to see her - did you tell her you wouldn't be treating her anymore? Patty did indeed - she was upset - but fine when she left. Paul raises his voice to disagree - she wasn't fine when I left her - OR when YOU left her. As a DR, YOU should have seen that! Paul then reads the note - loudly - I can't go on anymore - the doctor I trusted more than anyone else in the world is marrying my husband - she betrayed me! She knew about you and Jack! - I found THIS in the paper mache house (Paul brandishes the photo from the newspaper) How did she get it? Paul demands - This is YOUR fault - YOUR responsibility - I warned you - you wouldn't listen. You have nothing to say at all? Patty stammers - she feels terrible - and prays Patty comes out of this - and that her new doctor will do a better job than she did. In tears, Paul orders Patty out - leave me and my sister alone! Patty pauses at the door - whatever happens - just know that your sister loved you - and knew you loved her. In the hallway, Patty stifles her sobs.

Neither Hellstrum want to discuss Victor - so - are we ending this? JT guesses so. Wow - wasn't that long ago that JT was willing her to come out of a coma. Vikki then relays their crisis filled history - maybe they don't really know each other (in day to day life - without a crisis to deal with). Because of the happy memories Vikki has - and Reed, she hopes they can end the marriage as friends.

Patty's back at the club suite - it had to be done - and now it is. In tears, Patty hates to see Paul so upset. Knock - knock - it's Ashley - she's brought something old - something new - something borrowed - something blue. Old is a rosary (that brings P to tears). You were always so nice to me, P smiles.

Back at the Abbott's, the subject of anything Newman is banned - Victor's ruined so many important moments in Jack's life - he won't let him - or anyone else - ruin this one.

JT doesn't want things to get ugly either - so - who'll go to a lawyer first? Vikki will call Michael tomorrow. Living arrangements? Reed? JT thinks it would be unsettling to Reed if one of them left right now - so - he'll stay in the guest room - for now. Vikki agrees it's best - for now.

With a kiss, Victor leaves his and Nikki's suite to go work out. In the hallway, he bumps into Ashley. Due to words spoken by the remarkable Traci's, Ashley's decided to move out of the ranch. Victor's stunned - you fought long and hard for that. Ashley now feels the need to 'let go' - and no longer wants any part of the ranch.

At P's bedside, Paul wonders if Patty injured herself before she took the pills (as there's a bump on her head). Nope - the coma is a result of the drugs. And if she makes it? Patty may never be herself again.

In P's suite, Patty answers another call - this one from Jack (who jokes about not being able to live without her). Patty hates being apart too - she knows she's the one person in this world who can make him happy. Taken aback by the odd comment, Jack shakes it off - Yes, you are - which is why he can't wait til tomorrow.

Next: Billy and Vikki are at the bar. Jack's gonna fight like hell to get Jabot back, Billy warns. Good look with that, Vikki's flip ... With the fireplace raging in the background, Patty's on her knees praying - give me a sign - anything, she looks to the heavens through her tears ... I can't do this alone (unconscious - P thinks the words aloud). In P's room, Father Todd questions Paul - what do you mean - too late? Will she recover?

My Thoughts: Why didn't Victor make Nikki Jabot's CEO? A former CEO, she did once care enough about the company to invest 50 million in it ... Victor sure IS speaking from experience - about it being 'tough' - how many marriages has he ended? As tough as it is, it seems tougher to STAY married ... I still don't get why Jack would think Victor had insider information - his bid wasn't a dollar above Jack's - it was 'significantly' higher. There's no way Jack's gonna be able to prove his suspicions - unless someone clues into Adam's actions (which seems unlikely - as Adam has a Teflon coating - nothing sticks) .. It also seems odd to me that this was Nick's idea - I thought he was above cheating in business - being so high on his morals that he turned his own father in for commercial bribery. Mike skulking around department stores - placing NE products (and hiding Jabot's) isn't any worse than breaking and entering - to take photos of sealed bids. The Newman's just don't know how to win fairly .... How strange that no one entering Patty's padded cell noticed what must have been an overwhelming odor of peroxide ... How uncanny that P's hair turned out the exact shade required (and didn't go orange - as mine often did). And that it's dried by the time Paul visits ... But where did Patty get the water needed to wash the bleach OUT of P's hair? Is it still on? No one can smell it? It's not burning anyone's eyes? If it's left on much longer, wouldn't it singe the hair right off P's skull? Stain and eat holes in her clothing? Are there no bleach blotches on the bunk P was laying on? The bleach doesn't even mark Paul's black clothing? ..... Will P's unaltered perfect dress be a perfect fit for Patty? How fortunate that the two women are the exact same size ... How is it that Father Todd's filling in at Sacred Heart Church? He doesn't even reside in GC .. Why did P have to be rushed to GCM? Isn't the mental health a medical facility - full of doctors? ... Of COURSE Vikki will hire Baldwin to handle her divorce - he's not busy enough being a corporate lawyer (and he isn't representing any family members at the moment) - guess he's totally given up on solving the Ryder mystery - or who's sending rats to his wife ... Why wasn't Traci's husband Steve invited to Jack's wedding? And why is Traci always used as someone's 'surprise'? Abby 'gave' her to Ashley as the best Christmas gift ever - now Billy and Ashley surprise Jack with her - Traci should at least arrive with a bow on. And then Billy 'weighs' the two options - a bachelor party in one hand - Traci in the other? How many strippers did he envision to balance his hands out? Traci laughs - eating is one of her favourite things. Ya don't say ... Wasn't Vikki shipped off to Dubai because she had to 'lay low' - couldn't work publicly for NE - and now she's Jabot's CEO? ... Given JT's dislike of Victor - and that he's no longer his employee, why did he come running when Victor ordered it - and how did JT know where to meet Victor? ... IF Patty wakes up - she 'may never be herself again'? Like that's a bad thing? The woman was a nut - and now she IS a different woman - one who'll wake up trying to convince everyone that she's Dr Emily Peterson Vikki didn't know that Jack and P's wedding was tomorrow? She hasn't read the newspaper - or the RS website? ... JT whines that Victor's imposed himself on his marriage long enough? But JT didn't seem to mind his free home on Newman property - or cashing his Newman paycheck every week did he? ... Who's Ashley to poke fun at Jack's many, many, many mistakes? Like she's not made any of her own (like marrying Victor)
