Having postponed her scan, Lily's sped over to the Department of Immigration - where Cane reports they want to deport him.

In Sharon's suite, Victor learns she's been apprised of their confusing charade. The hearing's at 2 - Adam better be there. He WILL be, Sharon assures - he'd do anything to get back into the good graces of the father he loves.

At the club, Phyllis has adopted a phony accent and persona - posing as a doctor, she's gained access to Dr Taylor's files. Joining her, Nick's impressed - but doubtful she'll get anywhere. Phyllis is confident she'll uncover something on Adam. Victor saunters over to pick Nick up for court. Now alone, Phyllis calls Sharon to come down and meet her. Yes, now. No? Alrighty then, Phyllis will just go ahead with her plan (without Sharon).

Billy's full of piss and vinegar when he finds Vikki in the courtroom - let's get it on! The pair then compete on who's had a rougher year. Vikki had to go into exile because of Billy. Yeah - well half the town hates Billy - and his daughter's on the verge of calling another man Daddy. Yeah, well Vikki doesn't even know what her son's favourite snack is (according to her soon to be ex). Yeah, well Billy's got his Mom working for him - top THAT. Vikki will - her father and brother trust Adam more than they do HER. Billy can top that - the love of his life is having another man's twins. The love of YOUR life can't stay away from MY husband, Vikki whines. She ... Billy shuts her up with a kiss (and is rewarded with a slap). What the hell's wrong with you!? Mike arrives - so - ready to rock and roll?

Paul's blathering on at Patty's bedside - about skating with Nina. Feeling P squeeze his hand, Paul runs out to summon the doctor - my sister's coming out of her coma!

At the Abbott mansion, Jack and Kyle get reacquainted. How'd you get here? Hello Jack, Diane Jenkins saunters in. Your wife's very persuasive, she then goes to shake 'Emily's' hand - it's a pleasure to finally meet the woman Diane already feels she knows. Her emails about how Jack misses his son were so touching - oh what a selfless gesture. Well, there's nothing Emily wouldn't do for her husband. As Patty gets drinks, Diane meows to Jack that this one's a big improvement over that red headed witch (Phyllis). Be nice? I'm always nice, Diane smiles. Alone with Patty, the unsuspecting Diane talks about the Patty she remembers - imagine - that 'complete air head' caused all that damage. Patty shoves the drink at Diane. Oops - sorry - no disrespect doctor - I know you tried hard to help her (but Patty's clearly beyond help).

The doctor confirms that Patty's brain activity HAS increased - but she may just be responding to Paul's voice. As the doctor goes to consult, Paul's left to keep babbling. You're getting better - don't give up - come back to me.

About before .... Billy sidles up to Vikki. Not now, she hisses (as Victor and Nick arrive). As Billy leaves, Vikki denies he's giving her a hard time - it's fine. Victor can't stand that guy. Vikki then asks Nick if Mike's in on the charade - no? Let's hope he's not blind sided.

When Sharon joins her, Phyllis claims to have a solid lead that'll open her eyes (to the man she married). Tired of being harassed, Sharon suggests Phyllis get a job. She has Nick - now leave her and Adam alone already. When Sharon stands to leave, Phyllis talks about a call she's expecting - that'll prove Adam and Dr Taylor had a very twisted relationship.

Reminding that he came to the US under false pretenses, Cane explains to Lily that he used Philip's SS number - a deportable offense (despite him being married to a US citizen). Lily can't believe this is happening now - we have to stop the deportation. Cane's so sorry this happened on the day of her test - Neil and Devon will be rightfully angry. Lily's not - and WON'T let them take Cane away, you'll see.

Back at the club, Phyllis thinks it one thing for Sharon to defend her husband - another thing to live in denial. Why the snooping - the accusations? God help her, Phyllis 'cares' - Adam's a sick freak who gets off on other's suffering. Is ANY of this getting through to Sharon - at all? Sharon's look of doubt indicates it IS.

'Emily' asks Diane about Patty and Jack's relationship - did he not love her? Jack loved Jack, Diane recalls - he pretended to settle down to placate his father. Patty was a child who idolized Jack - she never had a 'firm grip'. When P blames Patty's issues on her husband being ripped away by another woman, Diane decides it's time to go check on Kyle. Now alone, Patty glares at the portrait - this is ALL your fault - bringing that bitch into my home! She then gets a call from Paul - there's been a change in Patty's condition - get to GCM right away!

In the courtroom, Mike preps the Newman's - and worries about Adam (as they're 'on the outs'). As the secret kept from Mike hangs heavy between them, Vikki agrees Adam might make trouble. We did nothing wrong, Victor reminds - he'll be in big trouble if he states otherwise. Where IS Adam? As a witness, they won't see him until he takes the stand. And as the Judge takes takes his position, Jack looks smugly confident.

When the Judge asks Jack if he thinks all ten sealed bids were compromised - or just his, Jack announces that Victor had access to all the bidsallowing him to submit his winning bid moments before the deadline. Mike tells the Judge that Tucker can't be here - but here's an affidavit that states the bids were sealed and locked away. Jack then shares his suspicions that Adam Wilson, aka, Victor Adam Newman fed the information to Victor. Victor denies having any 'spies' within McCall Unlimited - he and his son are estranged. Or so he'd have the world believe, Jack chimes in (and is scolded). As Victor continues to deny any wrongdoing, Mike hands the Judge Victor's bid - and other relevant documents. Jack asks that Adam be called in - he's right outside. Victor objects to wasting any more time. When the Judge orders that Adam be brought in, Nick and Vikki squirm (worried Adam will sell them out). On the other side, Billy's sure Adam will perjure himself - again. Both Victor and Jack look stunned when it's reported that Adam's not out there.

The stand off at the club continues. Sharon suspects Phyllis has an ulterior motive for 'reaching out'. No - Phyllis wants them to investigate this together - if she's wrong, she'll drop it. If she's right - Sharon needs to get away from Adam (or she'll end up back in Fairview).

Outside the hospital room, Patty peeks through the window. Paul comes along to apologize for blaming her for Patty's suicide - he was hoping she'd put that aside to help his sister. Patty squeezed Paul's hand - she's trying to tell me something. She opened her mouth - to say 'Emily' - she's calling for you. Patty's touched by the love Paul has for his sister - and promises to take good care of 'Patty'.

Rejoining Cane, a frustrated Lily gripes about being shuffled around from desk to desk. Leave it to the lawyers, Cane doesn't want her stressed. Lily rants - you have a wife and twins on the way - we have to fight this - it's ridiculous. Cane can't help but smile at how fired up she is - but she should go take her test. No ~hug~ Lily won't do anything without her beloved Cane.

Look Patty - it's a surprise visit from Dr P. Hello Patty, Patty says. P's mouth twitches. Paul opines that she missed Dr P so much that before she OD'd, she was trying to BE her. Dr P suggests Paul leave - if Patty wakes up, it might confuse her. Oh - that's not what the neurologist said, Paul's supposed to keep talking to her. Oh - by all means - do that, Patty reluctantly agree.

In the hallway, Mike tells Victor that a delayed ruling is better than a ruling against them. Getting a message regarding Jana, he leaves Nick and Vikki to gripe about Adam (who Victor's gonna find). Your old man off licking his wounds? Jack comes out to quip to Nick. Nick sees no winners or losers here - it's a stand off. Jack DID win something - 30 days to find proof to overturn this deal. Ready to leave with Nick, Vikki pauses to exchange looks with Billy (who's left to shake his head - 'oh man').

Now seated as conspirators, Phyllis tells Sharon to clear the decks so they can get to work. Putting on the fake accent to answer a call, Phyllis says she'll be right over to get the key. THAT'S the call she was waiting for - is Sharon ready? To see which one of them is right about Adam? Yes, Sharon IS ready - ready to get the hell away from Phyllis (and wait for her husband to come home from court). I gave you a chance, Phyllis calls after her - whatever happens next - she's really sorry. Shaking her head, Sharon marches off. Phyllis then gets a call from Nick. Arranging to meet him at a storage facility, she's sure they'll find what they need to bring Adam down.

Sharon answers the door. Where the hell is your husband? Victor barks. Meanwhile, Nick and Phyllis, armed with flashlights, are rummaging through boxes (as Nick relays Jack was given 30 days). Phyllis finds something - Dr Taylor's journal? No - Skye Lockheart. Back at the suite, Sharon's stunned to hear Victor hasn't heard from Adam (who told HER he was leaving for court) - what if something happened to him? Sharon denies he skipped town - his clothes are still here. You better pray you're right, Victor growls. Back to Nick and Phyllis. Oh my God - Adam KNEW Dr Taylor was molesting Skye - the whole time - and brought him to Ashley anyway. How can they tell possibly Ashley? Phyllis will go to Jack for advice. Nick will go find Adam - let's hear him talk his way out of THIS one.

Patty listens as Paul rehashes childhood memories at Dr P's bedside,. She finally suggests he take a break - you're exhausted. While Paul goes to call his family, Patty will hold vigil. Now alone, Patty snarls - you're ruining everything. I put you in a coma - married Jack - I still can't win - instead of making babies with Jack she's having to be nice to that little bitch Diane and her runt son! I can't even talk to Paul - my best friend, Patty hisses - what are you mumbling? Better be prayers - I'm gonna finish what I started. Patty jumps a foot in the air when P's eyes suddenly pop wide open.

Lily ends a call with a lawyer - they'll get you out of here, she assures. From now on, the Ashby's won't look back - only forward. The guard's appearance indicates the visit's over. We're gonna beat this, Lily promises - see you in the morning ~kiss~

Back in the courtroom (for her forgotten sunglasses), Vikki replays Billy's kiss. Billy's back too - his 'excuse'? The scarf he forgot. Wanna talk about it? What? What happened. Nothing happened, Vikki says - but pauses to take a good long look at Billy before leaving.

At the club's bar, Victor understands that Mike has to go away for a few days (to follow a lead on Jana) - family comes first. As per Victor's orders, Mike's got every investigator on NE's payroll looking for Adam. But Mike has to ask - why is Victor so anxious to find him?

From her bed, Dr P glares at Patty. You can't wake up! Patty snarls. Closing the blinds, she grabs a pillow and slowly advances - one of us has to go - guess what - it's you. Patty places the pillow over Emily's face ...

Back at the Abbott home, an excited Jack's taking Kyle to all his favourite old places. We'll be in touch, he leaves Diane alone to eye the portrait. She then answers the door. Phyllis, she smirks - we meet again.

After Sharon leaves Adam a message (worried he's hurt - or done something stupid), Nick visits (carrying a large envelope). Not looking for Adam, he wanted to get to her before anyone else did - there's something about Adam she didn't know - it's terrible.

Next: Gloria races over as Kevin gets a call: Stop looking for me, a British woman's accent orders. Jana?! Hello!? .... Phyllis confronts Diane - You wouldn't be using this little father/son visit to torpedo Jack's new marriage would you? ... Looking completely psychotic, Patty shrieks at the portrait - You all want Jack - but you can't have him - cause he's mine!

My Thoughts: Good God Dr P - is there no chapter in your self help book that says if the psycho who tried to kill you doesn't want you to 'wake up' - you fake sleep until she's gone!? ... Nick's really worried about how to tell Ashley (with her 'history' about 'this'? Puhlease - It's exactly what Ashley wants - getting proof of her suspicions would hardly put her over the edge .... Silly Billy - half the town doesn't hate you 'because of RS' - they hate you because you're an obnoxious playboy drunk ...How foolish of Lily to postpone her scan - last minute - to run down to where Cane's being detained. I'm sure the medical staff at GCM really appreciate her consideration. But - it's not like Lily, niece of the great Dr Hastings, will have any problem getting another appointment - waiting list? What waiting list? And where's Malcolm? Did he just hand Lily's jewelry back and let her drive off by herself? ... How exactly does Lily plan to stop Cane's deportation? Cling to his legs like a tree hugger? ... You haven't hurt anyone, she wails - clearly not understanding what the Department of Immigration is all about ... Why is Vikki accusing BILLY of 'sending her into exile'? SHE'S the one who slept with Deacon - take responsibility - stop blaming everyone else ... Phyllis is 'reaching out' to Sharon? Why? Who could blame Sharon for not buying it? Phyllis DOES need to get a job - with William's Investigations (as she has the uncanny ability to get any information she wants). As for a 'hobby' I'd say she has one - Sharon .... If Phyllis and Nick picked up the keys for Dr Taylor's storage facility, doesn't that imply they've been given permission to access it? So why are they sneaking about with flashlights? How on earth did Skye's personal journal end up amongst Dr Taylor's files? ... How does Phyllis know that the State's attorney's are 'busy'? ... If Patty's doctor wants to consult with a colleague on HER status, why wouldn't he have the colleague meet him in HER room? Then, Paul leaves to call his 'family'? Like Mary cares? If she couldn't be bothered to visit when Patty went into the coma - or wasn't supposed to make it through the night - I doubt she'll be interested to hear she's 'waking up' ... Yes Paul - keep talking to your sister about people and places she knows (too bad Emily doesn't recall any of the lame stories Paul's boring her with). Yes, Paul - she IS trying to tell you something - shut the hell up! ... Billy's daughter's on the verge of calling another man Daddy? No silly - Delia's saying 'Prada' or 'Ba ba' (cause she wants a bottle). If Chloe has her way, the word Daddy won't even be in her little fashionista's vocabulary ... If Victor 'can't stand' Billy - why did he choose to give HIS magazine a blockbuster interview? Why not make another magazine publisher rich? Why a tabloid fashion rag over Time or McLeans? ... There's a big flat screen TV in the den, Jack boasts to Kyle (who presumably has a nice TV at home - along with every luxury his absentee father's monthly payments provide). And I doubt Kyle needs to be shown 'how the remote works' ... Nice that Jack's taking Kyle to the all same places he did when he was a 'kid' - guess it'll be a short outing (cause Jack only had the kid for 5 minutes) ... Emily wrote touching emails about how much Jack missed his son? Odd that he never mentioned it - or gave any explanation as to why father and son haven't seen one another in years .... Aren't Billy and Vikki the forgetful ones - she her sunglasses, Billy his scarf. Guess they were those kids who's mittens were attached by a long string (but somehow ended up in the lost and found box anyway). Wonder why Vikki never wears that scarf Kay gave for Christmas - the one that was so important she just HAD to get it back from Billy ... Right Sharon - Adam couldn't have skipped town - because his suitcases and clothes aren't missing - like he couldn't possibly afford new clothes and luggage set ... Mike's got every private investigator on NE's payroll out looking for Adam? How many corporations have ANY PI's 'on the payroll'? And wouldn't Paul be on that list?
