Victor visits the tackhouse. Nope - no sign of Adam. Arms folded, Phyllis is sure Adam wouldn't show his face again - if he knew what they had on him. IE - the diary (that proves he put Ashley in the hands of a criminal.

Visiting Ashley, Neil finds her all excited - there WAS blood on the cloth - let's see him squirm his way out of THIS one! But what's his motive? Could there be more Ashley's not remembering? She has a feeling there's more going on than she knows.

At the suite, Adam apologizes for worrying Sharon - he had a stress induced meltdown and just had to get away (so went to visit his mother's grave in Kansas). Yeah, well - he's not the only one who's had a rough coupla days - here - read this - Skye's diary. I believed - and defended you! Sharon shouts - I was wrong - Dr Taylor was revolting - and you KNEW all along!

At RS, Billy and Jill are still investigating Tucker's painting bribery - he covered it up very well - but not well enough - but why didn't Kay use it? Who knows - but if she won't, THEY sure will. Billy better get crackin' on RS's new cover story - Tucker won't know what hit him.

At the mausoleum, Tucker finds Kay looking well rested (but doubtful that Ester will make HIM her famous tofu pancakes). No - he's NOT one of her favourite people - but maybe she'll come around. Yesterday was an eye opener - and Tucker has an offer. How would she like to have a bigger voice at CI again?

On the CL's patio, Chance is frustrated by the Rigg's mysterious 'suicide' - the whole thing smells fishy to him. Someone on the force is dirty. And if Syd won't investigate ..... Chloe leaves him to meet Syd - but no - she's not off to help Billy at RS - seems he has all the help he needs (from his newest staff member)

Jill leaves Billy - to go knock some sense into Kay (who needs to stop being sentimental about Tucker). Billy agrees - he screwed her over royally. Jill doesn't want to see Kay heartbroken, left with nothing - or blind sided. Jill? She'll be fine (but doesn't look it).

Tucker feels that Kay sees him as the guy who stole CI. Kay sees her son. Same guy, Tucker reasons - they need to be equal partners (so he's giving her enough shares to make that happen). You and I? Equals? Working together? WHY? Tucker has selfish reasons - imagine what they could accomplish (and maybe she can teach him a few things). Kay insists on one condition - she BUY the shares. After a handshake seals the deal, Tucker's offered the phone in the study - then they can chat some more. And willing to risk Ester and her rolling pin, Tucker might just scrounge up something in the kitchen. He's actually starting to think he might like Kay (who's beginning to think the same thing).

Back at the tackhouse, Phyllis and Nick continue to fill Victor in. He reads an excerpt from the journal - why did Taylor have it? Who else knows about it? Sharon? Musta been a shock.

At the suite, Sharon has more harsh words for Adam - what? The journal's a fake? Another conspiracy? Like HIM forging Victor's journal? It doesn't matter WHO knows - you LIED. Who ARE you!?

Having apparently changed her mind, Chloe arrives at RS (as Billy reads his article aloud). You're making a mistake, Chloe warns - Kay doesn't want to go after Tucker - she's trying to make amends for the past. Well - she shouldn't be, Billy shoos the 'Princess' off.

Meanwhile, Jill ignores Kay's barbs - hear me out. This is serious - she knows all about Tucker's bribery. Kay suddenly notices her missing files - and objects to her and Billy running the story. I'm doing this for your own good, Jill maintains.

Over coffee, Neil dissuades Ashley from confronting Adam just yet - maybe the DA can find out where the blood on the cloth came from. Hey, yeah - Ashley wonders if Heather considers Adam dangerous. Let's find out - before anyone else gets hurt.

Look at me - Dr Taylor never harmed Ashley, Adam reminds. Sharon continues to express her disgust at Adam unleashing that sick freak on Ashley - and what does that make HIM? She THOUGHT he'd changed - but it was all an act. No! This is REAL - Adam came back for SHARON (whom he loves of so much). Sharon LOVED the man she thought she married - but he doesn't exist. Adam pleads for another chance - let's get away. We're DONE! Sharon slams out.

Hmm - looks like Adam lied to Victor's face (when asked if he knew of the allegations against Dr Taylor). Ironically, it was Ashley who begged Victor to give Adam another chance (when he cut him off). Victor should have trusted his instincts. Adam used his failing eyesight - and Victor's promise (to Hope) to take care of him. He's a pro, Phyllis thinks Adam went after the weakest link (because he couldn't get Victor). All he wanted was revenge, Nick chimes in. Poor Ashley, Victor sighs - my God. Well - man reaps what he sows.

On the CL's patio, Chance shares his suspicions on Riggs 'suicide' - and the call warning him that he's in danger. Someone on the inside helped him escape jail. Syd will look into it - don't tell anybody. Thanks, a nervous Chance is left to stew.

Back at RS, Chloe warns Billy that he's gonna ruin any chance of Kay bonding with Tucker - it's NOT his call. Chloe gets summoned by Chance - but once again asks Billy not to run the article (that will break Kay's heart). Billy feels it's for the best - the government will be all over Tucker once his article runs. Chloe gets it - HE wins the Pulitzer and Kay will be eternally grateful for him getting rid if her diabolical son. That works for Billy. Nothing good will come of this, Chloe concludes.

Jill feels Tucker deserves to lose everything - he planned his revenge for years. She scoffs at them having a 'very good talk' (as Tucker didn't come to her UNTIL she had something on him). Kay insists she's wrong about Tucker. WHY does she care more about him ... Than YOU? In tears, Jill still feels like Kay's daughter - still loves her. If that's true - don't take away my son!

Summoned to the Carlton manor, Heather's now updated - and expected to 'put the pieces together'. Reminded of her mental instability, Ashley points out that there was blood found on the cloth - JUST as she remembered. Heather can't justify spending time and money investigating her ex boyfriend (who hasn't committed a crime). That we KNOW of, Neil pressures. Find something and we'll talk. Ashley thought she'd be more sympathetic - as a ADA - and someone who's been wronged by Adam too.

Back in the suite, Skye taunts Adam - looks like you've seen a ghost. Adam, the 'jerk face', whines about her diary (that cost him the only woman he ever loved). And here I thought you loved me too, Skye feigns hurt. Adam hangs his head - Sharon's incredibly kind and decent - believed in him when no one else would. Props to blondie - you care about someone more than yourself - but it's time to let Sharon go. No - Adam won't give up on her.

Having bumped into Summer, Sharon brings her to the tackhouse. When she announces that Adam's back, Phyllis takes Summer out - leaving Sharon to update that Adam didn't deny the diary. While Nick's glad she came there, Victor's sorry this happened to her. Sharon appreciates their concern - Adam sure had her fooled. Hearing Adam's still at the suite, Victor excuses himself. That leaves Sharon to whine about not listening to everyone - now her life's upside down. Nick will help her ~hug~ When Phyllis slams her way in, Sharon quickly decides it's time to go - pausing only to tell Phyllis she was right. Phyllis claims it's not about being right - it's about taking care of yourself and your family. Keep walking and don't look back, she adds pointedly. Sharon's eyes dart towards Nick (who also gets the intended message).

Skye continues to taunt Adam on his true love - he shoulda folded when he had the chance - the stakes couldn't be any higher - sooner or later, they'll realize what he's REALLY done.

Heather isn't impressed at having her relationship with Adam thrown in her face - her personal life is NONE of their business. If they can prove a crime happened, she'll be happy to prosecute - until then, she can't help them. I'll show myself out, thank you. Now alone, Ashley fumes - that bastard's gonna get away with it. Assuring they won't give up, the 'terrific' Neil's rewarded with a kiss. We'll get through this together, he adds (for a hug).

Jill sighs - you want me to kill the story on Tucker. OK - on one condition - Tucker reinstates Kay at CI - as his equal. When Kay's sure he will, Jill calls Billy - we're killing the story on Tucker. Are you out of your mind!? Did you drink the KoolAid? Billy balks. Yes, Jill's sure - thank you Darlin'. Kay places a hand on Jill's shoulder - you don't know how much this means to me. At RS, Billy sighs - all that work. His finger hovers over the delete button.

Strolling through the park, Chance reports that Syd's taking care of it. No sooner has he promised to back off - a car is heard speeding towards the scared pair. Getting up off the ground, Chance got part of the license plate (and jots it down). It was no accident - it was a message to back off.

Kay's all smiles as Jill heads back to peel Billy off the ceiling. If it's any comfort, Kay will always consider her a daughter. And after Jill leaves happy, Tucker rejoins Kay - paperwork's underway partner. Yes, he heard - and knows Kay cares about Jill. Kay has one last request - a hug. No - she's not messing with him - let's see if we can tolerate it. Both are emotional as they slowly gravitate into an embrace. Watching through the window, a stunned Jill calls Billy - run the damn story.

Phyllis and Summer return to the tackhouse. No, Phyllis has no plans. Good - Nick's taking the day off to go sledding with his two favourite girls. It's family day - and what a happy family they are (all laughing and ticking one another on the sofa).

Baby monitor in hand, Ashley answers the door. Sharon hands over the envelope - something for you to read, she marches in. Meanwhile, Adam gets a visitor too; Dad. I heard you were back, Victor glowers.

Next: You and I are gonna comb over every page of this, Sharon tells Ashley (who nods, photocopies in hand) .... I was following orders Dad - it'd be a shame if that got out, Adam tells Victor (who thinks maybe it's time he calls Adam's bluff) ... In Dr P's room, Patty puts on a loud performance. Let go of me! she shrieks as she rips at her clothes. Grabbing Dr P's hand, she tangles it in her hair (making it appear that Dr P's the aggressor).

My Thoughts: Billy blathers on about Griffin's minimalistic artwork - then asks JILL how much that particular painting's worth. Duh - YOU'RE the journalist sitting in front of your computer - Google it already dumbass .... Reeds off to the doctor's today. Reportedly for a booster shot - but more likely cause he's sick from eating peanut butter and bacon sandwiches 'every day' his Mom was 'in exile' ... If Adam claims to have gone to visit his mother's grave site in Kansas, why wouldn't Sharon have asked for proof - an airline ticket stub, a 'My husband went to Kansas and all I got was this lousy t-shirt' T-shirt, or sumthin? ... Seeing Skye again really makes me question the decision making skills of the casting department. Here's an actress who can actually act - is beautiful - and has a strong character - yet they kill her off (and can't even be bothered to investigate her death). I did notice yesterday, in Sharon's nightmare - that for a card shark, she barely knows how to shuffle a deck of cards. Would it have been THAT hard to learn some Vegas dealer eye tricks? ... Jill's jealousy where her 'mother's' concerned is out of control - and very unhealthy ... Why would Heather go running over to the Carlton Manor? If Neil and Ashley wanted to run their crazy, unfounded theories past the ADA, THEY should have made the trip. But, sine WHEN does Heather need 'proof' to investigate or prosecute - especially if it's a Newman? Love how Heather brings up Ashley's past (of being mentally unstable) - then gets all snarly when HER history (with Adam) comes up ... Phyllis didn't look too impressed to see Nick and Sharon clinging to one another - in HER home - on HER new sofa. But what did she THINK would happen once Sharon left Adam? That said, Nick IS totally insensitive - the hug would only have been harmless had he and Sharon NOT cheated with one another - REPEATEDLY (and while Nick was married to Phyllis). But - what comes around, goes around I guess ... While Ashley's busy smearing make up all over his gleaming white starched collars, does Neil even know that his son in law is being detained by Immigration? Hasn't he bothered to call Lily - to see if the scan revealed she's cancer free - or cancer riddled? He's gone from camping out in Lily's hospital room to Lily who? ... There WAS blood on that piece of cloth - do you know what that means? Ashley squawks at Neil. Yes - it means Phyllis has washed that cloth 'a hundred times' (and never during the first few washings noticed that it was covered with someone - or something's - blood). You'd think the Newman kids would have proper clothes for their dolls - hand knitted or silk scarf's, not bloody scraps found laying about ... I'm not crazy. I'm not crazy, Ashley almost jumps up and down in her glee (not - not this time - but you were before - and you WILL be again) And yes Ashley - there IS other things you're not remembering - like the 4-6 weeks of post delivery bleeding you didn't have - or that Adam, not Dr Taylor, was the one doing depraved and inappropriate things between your legs .... Odd that while planning to run their big front cover expose on Tucker, neither Jill nor Billy did any sort of fact checking. Wouldn't they feel silly if the Yugoslavian Minister of Culture came out and said he liked the painting so much that he bought a copy of it at the local flea market? And how are all Tucker's 80's bands gonna like the implication that their success was due to bribes - as opposed to their talent? Wham, Bananarama, Men Without Hats, Wang Chung are gonna be pissed. To suggest they weren't talented artists *shakes head* .... Um - didn't Chloe tell Chance she WASN'T going over to help Billy at RS? So - why is that exactly where she went? Kay JUST noticed that her huge box of Tucker files is missing from the living room? Who did she think picked up after her - elves? Ester? And why wouldn't Ester make Tucker her tofu pancakes? She's a servant - she'll damn well make what she's told to. Who raved to Tucker about these great tofu pancakes anyway? Jill? Is Jill such a big fan that she mentioned it while in bed with Tucker? ... Back to Skye's diary - isn't it a bit odd that Dr Taylor's molestation isn't described in some detail. It IS Skye's personal journal - where she SHOULD have been able to unburden herself. You'd think Phyllis, being Phyllis, would have photocopied the most graphic reading for Sharon to nauseate over (and to further disturb Ashley). Never mind the first question - WHY would a doctor practicing out of BOSTON, store his personal files in a GC storage facility?
