At a roadside diner, Adam writes a letter to Sharon (who's not taking his calls). He knows she's angry - but believe this -
he loves her - and will never stop fighting for her, as long as he lives.
Who else could Sharon call to come over but Victor? Adam lied to her - and to Ashley - and boo hoo, he might have lied about her baby.
Sharon KNOWS she heard her cry - and there's no records of a baby dying at Fairview - or at the morgue. How could Adam watch
her grieve and not say anything? Victor announces that he and Jack have a plan - but need HER help.
At Ashley's, Jack hears that Sharon knows her baby might be alive - then reports the calls that back their theory up. Sharon's
at the club packing right now. Jack assumes she's with Victor (then shares that he and Victor have a plan). Strange bed
fellows huh? OK, Jack will tell her the plan - but warns she won't like it.
`
Phyllis and Nick have shared the best day (and are kissing as Vikki comes down to say Summer's getting out of their
snowsuits). No need to call Gabby - Vikki wants to spend quality time with her niece. Yeah, she's just fine - go out -
you deserve it. And as she runs up to plan a movie night with Summer, Phyllis and Nick know she's hurting over her
divorce. How lucky the Newman's are that their marriage is solid.
At CL's, Rafe's 'goofy grin' is a result of a weekend away with Brian. Billy approves - Rafe deserves something good (after
the way Adam 'jerked' him around). Billy then gets a summons from Jack - gotta go - don't let Brian get away - good to see
you smiling. Arriving, Heather exchanges a flirty smile with the exiting Billy - then joins Rafe; the only person she can talk
to about everyone's favourite topic; Adam.
A man approaches Adam's table - Adam? Newman? He extend his hand - Richard Hightower - what a pleasure it is to meet him
in person. What you did .... thank you, Richard (who looks a lot like Adam) stumbles to convey his obvious gratitude.
Now seated, Richard apologizes
for being late - and again thanks Adam for his phenominal act - but why me? Let's get out of here, Adam wants to hear his
story. A kid comes along for some arcade money. Oh - You have a son? Introduced, the boy hugs Adam - thank you SO much Mr Newman.
You're welcome buddy, Adam suddenly
needs to leave - I'll call to reschedule, he escapes looking extremely emotional (while inside, father and son look
disappointed and confused).
Over coffee, Heather tells Rafe of butting heads with Victor - then going to see Adam - she can't shake what he did to
both of them. Of COURSE Rafe feels 'used' but he's over it (and in no hurry to rehash it with Heather of all people). Yeah, she was
'brutal' with Rafe - sorry about that - she knows what it feels like to be sucked in and dumped by that jerk - but why
did he do it? He's a sick jerk, Rafe doubts they'll ever learn the reason.
Back at the Carlton manor, Ashley can't believe Jack's plan. Justice and revenge are two different things. Jack doesn't
see court as the way to go - even if they find evidence, it's her word against Adam's (and don't think her 'history'
won't come up). Reminding of how Adam sequestered her - making her think she'd lost her mind, Jack's interrupted by Billy
who demands to know if it's true - it was Adam, not Patty or Estella, that tormented her. Looks that way, Ashley confirms.
Sharon doesn't want any part of this. Victor knows what he's asking of her is difficult. Sharon's not sure she can take it -
dredging it all up again. Victor talks of the brave and strong woman she's become. Sharon still doesn't want to believe
Adam did this to her. If there's a chance the baby's alive, you MUST do this, Victor stresses. OK - but Sharon
wants to be the one to tell Nick about the baby. Fine with Victor ~hug~
Downstairs, Vikki's alone when she comes across a folder behind the sofa cushion; Jabot Sale Hearing. She flashes
back to Billy's kiss. Interrupted by Nick and Phyllis, Vikki raves about how nice they 'clean up'. Yes, she has all
the emergency phone number she needs - go - we're good. As they're about to leave, Victor arrives - as Adam denied everything, he's
handling it HIS way - and needs their help. All exchange loaded looks.
Billy rants about ripping 'that kid's' head off - but is warned to keep his cool and do what he's told. He's also not
impressed to hear that Victor's involved. Our common enemy is Adam, Jack insists - teaming up with Victor's the only
way to bring him down. OK, Billy's in. Jack lists off the people Victor's enlisted to do their parts - Nick, Phyllis,
Sharon. Hopefully Heather's game (so she doesn't throw the book at them). Ashley's not too optimistic (based on her
reaction to her and Neil's story). Billy knows a lawyer with an ax to grind with Adam - he might be onboard. Bring him
on, Jack invites.
Still at CL's, Rafe stands - we're done here? But OK - he too feels the need to apologize - he knew Adam was seeing Heather (but
was convinced that Adam needed to be saved from 'the closet' he was trapped in). He played us both, Heather agrees. So, we
should both be grateful we got out when we did. Billy calls to summon Rafe to the club - it's about Adam. I dunno man,
Rafe hesitates. It's urgent, Billy will explain when he gets there. OK, Rafe will be at the bar. And as Rafe relays the
meeting to Heather, SHE gets a summoning call from Phyllis - busy? we need to talk - about Adam. Fine, Heather will
meet her at the club. Something's up - something big, Heather declares as both head out.
Never mind her 'history' with Heather, Phyllis is sure she can rise above herself (for the purpose of bringing Adam down).
Since Summer's to spend the evening with Reed and the nanny after all, Vikki will go get her ready. Victor has one more
stop to make - then we'll meet as planned. Now alone, Nick and Phyllis chuckle about their 'sweet' date night gone awry. But - Phyllis
thinks it IS sweet (and worth it) if they can cut Adam off at the knees. And with a kiss, Nick's off too.
Sharon arrives at Ashley's - Yes - she's got a part in Victor's plan (and has 'no choice' but being OK
with it). Jack knows this isn't easy. While Sharon's sorry she didn't listen about Adam, Jack's sorry he didn't protect her
like he said he would. Maybe he can make it up to her tonight. Sharon doesn't like any of this. Yeah, but, she's not
alone - they'll all be there with her the whole time. And now Jack leaves to call Victor - to confirm they're on schedule.
With Faith gurgling in her arms, Ashley admits she doesn't like it either. Sharon explains she's only doing this for her baby - wouldn't
Ashley do whatever it took to get Faith back? Of course, Ashley doesn't blame Sharon - and if Adam's done anything to her
little girl, Ashley will do anything possible to get her back to Sharon. Nodding, Sharon fusses over Faith in Ashley's
arms.
Back at the suite, Adam finds the place dark and empty - Sharon? Flipping on the lights, he sits on the bed, looking very much
alone. Woe is me, he flops onto the bed.
At the club, Billy updates Rafe that Adam was the one gaslighting Ashley. Needless to say, Rafe's furious - that creep almost let
my Aunt go to jail for that! He pretended to be my friend. He let Patty Williams take the fall too! She was found in the
shed around the same time Adam decided he wasn't gay after all. The timeline makes sense. Adam didn't need to keep Rafe
distracted (or frame Estella) once Patty was suspected. I'm gonna tear that son of a bitch apart! Rafe vows. No, Billy's
family has something bigger in mind - perhaps Rafe would be interested in helping them?
Meanwhile, at the bar, Heather assumes this is why Rafe's here too (she was with him when he got the call). Phyllis
explains that Victor and Jack are bringing all of Adam's victims together to bring him down (so he won't be able to
worm his way our of it). Heather calls that 'vigilanteism' - 'justice' is served in a court room. Phyllis reminds that
Heather was trying to bring her innocent son (Daniel) down. Thankfully she took matters, and the law, into her own hands). You
got lucky, Heather sniffs. Daniel was innocent - so was I, Phyllis persists - Victor and Jack's plan is the only way to prove Adam's
guilt. Oh come on - does Heather really wanna be the one who lets Adam
skate? After everything he's done? Heather fidgets uncomfortably in her seat. Oh what to do.
At the tree where Faith's plaque is nailed to, Nick's surprised when Sharon joins him - it's not the best place to be.
Victor told her to come. Yes, she's in on the plan - but needed to talk to Nick first. It's about our
daughter - she might still be alive. Adam may have set it up. No - she's not getting 'carried away'. She accepted Faith's loss - but
something doesn't add up. Sharon HEARD her cry - she feels it in her bones - my daughter's alive.
Still at home, Ashley assumes Sharon's at the cabin by now. Neither one of them like the plan - but both desparately want the truth. Jack
could kill Adam for what he put them through. Ashley just wants to know WHY. Victor arrives - it's done. Nick and Sharon are at
the cabin. Phyllis is at the club with Heather. Per Billy, Rafe's onboard. When all this is done, Victor owes Rafe and his Aunt a phone call.
Faith gurgling in her arms, Ashley thinks he owes them a LOT more than a measly phone call - because of YOUR son, Estella has a criminal
record. Yes, Victor's sorry about that - and that he failed Ashley. It'll all be rectified tonight, he assures.
Adam wraps up his Dear Sharon letter - please believe my words and remember how much I love you. On cue he gets a call from
Sharon (who needed time to think). We need to talk. Where is she? The Abbott cabin. Why .... never mind - I'm on my way. Adam
crumples the letter and tosses it in the trash, turns off the lights and leaves.
Adam's on his way, Sharon reports to Nick (who's now getting a signal thanks to the new tower). He's glad Sharon told him about the baby - nothing will
keep him from getting the truth out of Adam.
Phyllis continues to pressure Heather - go along with 'the plan' dammit. Heather could easily call the DA - let him know what they're
plotting. Yeah - but after made to feel worthless and cheap by Adam, Phyllis assumes won't. Think about it - Phyllis
will be back for her answer. Marching towards the front door, Phyllis then tells Vikki she gave it her best shot - the rest is up to
Heather. While Vikki's going for a drink, Phyllis needs to call Nick - before the fireworks begin. 'Scotch neat', both Vikki and Billy
bellow at the bartender they've raced over to.
Reminded that he's sworn off alcohol since New Year's, Billy tells Vikki that the drink's for Rafe. Is he OK? Uh yeah - as OK as you can
be after learning you're a pawn in someone's mind game. Yup - Adam. Vikki wishes she could have warned Rafe. Billy then blurts out that
he caught Adam sneaking around Mitchell's Funeral Parlour - he was in the Director's office when they went to arrange Colleen's funeral.
No - he wasn't planning Victor's funeral (he was expected to live). Hmmm - what was Adam doing in a funeral home? One more thing
to find out tonight. Meanwhile, Heather's flashing back to Adam denying he's gay - or even bi. When Rafe joins her, she assumes he
must at least be 'uneasy' with what's planned for Adam tonight. Nope - Rafe thinks it's what he deserves - for using his sexuality against him -
pretending to be gay to frame his Aunt. What? Adam was behind the Sabrina nightmare!? That son of a bitch used me too, Heather wails - I almost put an
innocent woman in jail. Heather then marches over to Phyllis - I'll do it!
Nick wants to believe the baby's alive - but where IS she? Who's she with? Wouldn't they have had some sign by now? How can it be possible?
Adam's gonna be here soon, Sharon warns. Yes - she's up for this - not a doubt in her mind. And off Nick goes, leaving Sharon to mope over
her baby's plaque.
Ashley already misses her baby so much - but the nanny's here - and then Abby's coming. She'll take care of you til Mommy gets back. It's
Mommy's job to take care of all the scary monsters - they don't just exist in books - sometimes they're nasty big brothers. I love you so,
so much, Ashley hugs Faith closely.
In the woods, Nick calls Phyllis - it's almost time - but there's something else he needs to tell her - she might want to sit down first.
Outside the cabin, Adam startles Sharon - so good to see you. Thanks for meeting me. Sharon doesn't know where to start. It's freezing - let's go inside.
No! Sharon wants to stay right there.
Inside the cabin, Victor turns the light on - peeks out the curtains to see Sharon walking away from Adam. You look beautiful in the
moonlight, Adam advances a step to follow. Stay where you are! Sharon shrieks. Meanwhile, at the club, the tension mounts.
Across the table, Rafe and Heather touch hands. Rafe
nodding encouragement at the deeply troubled ADA.
Several feet away from Sharon, Adam knows she doesn't deserve this - she deserves so much better. You shouldn't be with someone capable
of such darkness - the last 48 hours have been hell - the thought of living without her - he can't survive it - he can be a better man -
but only if Sharon's with him. Nick makes his call - Phyllis smiles; Adam's at the cabin. She and Vikki look over at Billy - he in turn stares
at the nervous Heather and Rafe. In the cabin, Victor stares at a photo - him holding Adam on his Christening Day. He crumples it in his fist.
Outside, Adam continues to plead - he was afraid he'd never see Sharon again - he wrote her a letter. Nervous, Sharon looks out into the darkness.
You gave me 'faith' to hold onto, Adam says. Ashley's bending over the bassinet. Leaving the nanny's side, Jack approaches Ashley - it's time, he
whispers dramatically.
More tension at the club - Phyllis, still seated with Vikki checks her Blackberry. Meanwhile, Adam, tells Sharon that he almost did
something desparate and horrible tonight - but he couldn't go through with it - he needs her to save him. Please - my life depends on it.
Sharon tears up - Adam, I'm sorry. Something hits Adam in the head - blindsided, he goes to the ground. Sharon covers he mouth in horror -
looking down at Adam.
Next: Tired is no longer an answer - it's a symptom, Mike tells Lauren - it's time we found out what's causing this. Daisy, as usual, hovers
nearby to listen ... Tucker tells Kay that he's gonna pull a bait n switch ... Still being detained, Cane tells Jill that Lily's test
results come back today. If it's not good, he'll escape.
My Thoughts: How can there be absolutely no record of Sharon's baby - she walked into Fairview pregnant - and went out of there NOT pregnant.
Why doesn't someone raise an enquiry into that? Surely Victor's many resources could demand someone provide an explanation. Babies, alive or
dead, just can't disappear. Maybe Paul could take a break from holding his non-sister's hand to investigate the mystery ... What good deed
could Richard possibly be thanking him for? And is it a coincidence that le resembles Adam in height and appearance? Was he going to fake a suicide?
Was his diabolical plan derailed only because Richard's son wanted a quarter for the arcade?
... If Phyllis gave pressuring Heather to 'go along' 'everything she had' -
why didn't SHE tell her that Adam was the
one gaslighting Ashley (cause that was the determining factor that got Heather 'onboard' - (even though Ashley and Neil had already TOLD her that) .... Of course
Adam's 'not the world's best writer' - he's blind - he's likely scrawling illegibly all over the page for crying out loud.
And
knowing Sharon moved out - with all her belongings - why would Adam expect her to be there? But wait - there she is, back at
the suite (according to Ashley she's getting 'her things' - even though she ALREADY packed her suitcases and moving
out in a huff. You'd think the suite would be the last place Sharon and Victor would discuss this plan. Adam could come home at any minute.
... How does Adam even know where the Abbott
cabin is? And assuming his driver chauffeured him there - is he still idling out in the driveway? ... Nice that
Vikki wants to spend some quality time with her niece - having a girl's movie night - but what about her OWN neglected kid? ... It's a
good thing a new tower was installed near the cabin - cause signals are notoriously hit n miss out there. Guess the faulty generator's been
fixed too .... Odd that Ashley now feels VICTOR owes Estella a phone call - when HE was the one defending her (and giving her a job at NE).
Ashley was the one who mistreated the servant she never liked. And why wasn't Estella brought in on the big plan? She lost her job and
her home - that qualifies her as more of a victim than Rafe OR Heather (who really just got jumped)... If this plan is an
intervention of sorts - all hurling Adam's lies at him - demanding truthful answers, it'll likely end with the lights going
out - a shot fired - Adam killed - with all left gaping at one another as suspects. A good old fashioned whodunit. Of course, most
of the likely suspects are eyeing one another at the club right about now. Will they all take their own cars? Of go green - and take
some kind of shuttle bus up there.
