On the CL's patio, Chance is distracted - as Amber and Chloe express stunned disbelief that Jana appears to have left Kevin. Arriving, Mike mentions Cane's deportation. Re: Jana (and perhaps herself), Lauren muses that you can love someone - and still do stupid things. As the Baldwin's head inside, Amber and Chloe are left to assess the tragedy facing the Fisher's and Ashby's - shocking - but THEY have the most stable relationships around. Ha ha. When reminded that were both married to Cane, both ladies chortle that it was a huge mistake - but yeah, they SHOULD go visit him. No, Chance doesn't mind - it leaves him free to call and check on the partial plate of the car that almost hit him and Chloe.

At the club, Neil pokes at his pancakes, and encourages Lily to EAT. Awaiting the results of her scan, Lily knows Mike did all he could - but Immigration won't budge. Worse case scenario, Cane returns to Australia and applies to come back legally. But Lily worries about Cane's enemies in Australia - and that he'll never make it back. Meanwhile, Kay visits Cane (and is glad to see Jill's with him). Cane asks them both to watch over Lily (sure he'll be deported). You'll be back, Kay assures (while Jill doesn't look convinced).

Alone inside CL's, Lauren's wearing an agonized 'what have I done' face. Daisy joins her - you look rough - headaches? Ugggh. Lauren feels like she's walking through quicksand. Ever helpful, Daisy will go get her coffee. Mike rejoins Lauren to worry about her. Last night she was so lively - and now she's 'just tired'? 'Tired's' no longer an answer - it's a symptom. It's time they figured out what's causing it. Nearby, the eavesdropping Daisy is lacing Lauren's coffee with an eye dropper.

Mmmm - you're a lifesaver, Lauren takes the coffee from Daisy - but maybe Mike's right, she leaves the cup untouched - and hugging Daisy, leaves her to drool over enlarged photos of her with Paul. Gosh Lauren - you sure are photogenic when slutting it up, Daisy grins.

Back at the club, Daniel stops by Neil and Lily's table. Oh what a jerk's he's been for not checking up on Lily. Make sure she finishes those pancakes, he orders Neil in parting. Now Lily mopes some more about Cane being deported.

At the Dept. of Immigration, Jill huffs when Kay has to leave for a meeting with Tucker. And with one last 'I love you' hug, Kay leaves. Jill promises she and Kay will take care of Lily. With the test results due today, IF they aren't good, Cane can't leave - he must escape. You don't mean that, Jill hisses - don't risk it ~hug~ And with more whispers and I love you's Jill leaves Chloe and Amber to visit. On her way out, Jill's happy when Chloe predicts her debut issue of RS will be a big winner - I need a win today, Jill pouts towards Cane. And now Cane's left to chat with his two ex wives - who're sorry he's in this dilemma - perhaps they can be character witnesses (although they have deficient characters themselves). Thanks but no thanks, Cane appreciates that they'd lie for him (there's been enough of that already).

Kay finds Jimmy's (Tucker's niece's bar) an interesting place to meet. Yes, Tucker thought he'd keep it informal. It's a perfect place to make a deal for their partnership. Yes - an equal split. Kay thinks it too good to be true. IS Tucker planning a bait 'n switch? Tucker looks disappointed that Kay suspects he'll back out.

At home, Paul's on his laptop - but with a heavy sigh, flashes back to making out with Lauren on the sofa. A knock at the door brings the Baldwin's. What's up? Sorry for coming unannounced - but Mike crows that Paul owes Lauren a dinner out as a 'thank you'. Why? Because Lauren asked Mike to look into Patty's case - and he got a Judge to revisit Dr P's assessment of indeffinite incarceration. And as Lauren continues to look uncomfortable, Mike explains that Dr P handed the case to Dr Jasper - so it's not entirely HER decision (and is now open for discussion). Paul's impressed. In Lauren's ear, Mike suggests she order the lobster. It's not necessary, Lauren assures (as Mike remains oblivious to the tension in the room).

As Lily goes to freshen up, Jill approaches Neil's table. Unseen, Lily listens as Jill updates Neil that Cane's worried sick about her (and plans to escape if her scan doesn't come back clean). If caught, he won't get to come back to the States at all! Neil, Jill (and Lily) are all worried. Lily returns to quickly grab her purse and coat - then scurries off to visit Cane. Daniel intercepts the emotional Lily at the door - and won't let her drive so upset. Let's go, he ushers her out.

Now seated at Jimmy's, Kay still didn't get an answer - does Tucker plan to back out of the deal? Tucker thinks it too late to distrust him. Could his 'involvement' with Jill have screwed things up between them? No - Kay had problems with Jill long before Tucker came along - but it didn't help matters much. You knew who she was, Kay chides - had to know it'd blow up in his face. No, Jill doesn't know about their deal. Kay loves Jill dearly but won't let her butt in. Alrighty then - let's get to it. Kay takes the pen - but hesitates (unsure if being an 'equal partner' is 'enough').

Cane shares his plan to tie up loose ends in Australia - then come back to his wife. Lily's the only thing that matters - Cane will do anything to get back to her. He doesn't want to stall - the sooner he goes, the sooner he can come back. It's cool. Chloe and Amber both give quick hugs - see you soon. In the hallway, both think it sad - the decide to do something 'crazy' to help Cane.

As Lauren sits ramrod straight on Paul's sofa, Mike prattles on about Patty's hearing - then is called away. Would Paul mind driving Lauren home? Um, no. Now alone, Paul scolds Lauren for getting Mike involved. Now Paul owes a favour to the man who's wife he almost slept with. Lauren apologizes profusely - I don't know what happened to me last night - something's really wrong with me, she tears up.

At CL's Amber and Chloe toss ingredients into a large bowl. Lots of salt - pepper - sardines - chilli powder. Then explain to silly Chance that they're making disgusting cookies for Cane. Duh - if he's in the hospital he can't be deported, now can he? Yeah, that's genius, Chance doesn't look convinced. They must do something - like add chunks of an 'everything bagel' to the batter. Taken aside by Chance, Chloe instructs Amber to add some tea bags. Chance's plate check brought up 600 vehicles - it could take a while. But Chance doesn't need Chloe to go home and babysit him - he did three tours in Iraq, remember? Yes, and that's why Chloe trusts him to keep her safe.

At Trimble's, Lily isn't exactly good company today. No need to be, Daniel claims - look - there's a reading here tonight (by an author Lily just loves). He's hilarious - but ... Cane's leaving, Lily explains the deportation. There's more - her scan results come in today. She's scared Cane will do something 'drastic' if the results are bad.

Still at Jimmy's, Kay's used to being in charge - it IS her company (no matter that it's Tucker's now). She wants control. Tucker reminds that he's giving her equal say (when he doesn't have to give her anything at all). Kay doesn't work well in a double harness - she's a race horse. So - whadaya say? Can he give back what he never should have taken? CI is a living breathing thing to Kay. She can't walk away without a fight - she can't walk away at all. Tucker mosey's over to the bar to think - well - if he doesn't agree now, she'll hammer away at him - why delay the inevitable. You'd let me buy enough shares to regain controling interest? You'd give up just like that? Leave a man his pride, Tucker pouts. You should be proud, Kay soothes. At the door, Jill glares at the cozy pair (a copy of RS, with Tucker on the cover, in hand).

Now home, Chance tells Chloe he can't back off (as Syd requested). You don't play dirty - whomever's behind this does. Chloe's scared for both of them. She shares a secret with Chance - she's falling really, really hard. So's Delia - so listen to Syd. She doesn't want to lose him. If anything had happened to her last night. Yes - Chance will back off - because he loves Chloe. I love you. Chloe has another secret - she's not falling - she's already fallen. I love you too - so much ~kiss~

Amber's now got the cookies baked and in a box - and tells Daisy they're for a friend. A tribute to true love - wish me luck. Daisy again pulls out the Paul/Lauren photos - a tribute to drug fuelled true lust, she grins (then addresses the envelope to Mike. On cue, Mike arrives all stressed out over a missing file. Of course, Mike's briefcase ends up open and unattended Daisy slips the envelope inside.

Meanwhile, Lauren's trying to explain her mood swings - snapping at Mike and her staff - then last night's euphoria. She wanted everybody to be as happy as she was. If Paul hadn't stopped things... Paul admits him being drunk didn't help matters. This isn't me, Lauren whines. Paul wonders when the mood swings started. A few months ago - the euphoria was new (and awful). Paul thinks the extreme highs and lows could be psychological, not physical - there's no shame in talking to someone. Tearfully, Lauren knows talking won't erase what happened last night - promise you won't tell Mike. Paul assures Mike won't hear it from him.

At Trimble's, Lily assures Cane that she's on her way. She then declines Daniel's help. She's fine to drive herself there. But when he phone rings, Lily panics - It's the doctor - the test results are in ....

Things are hearing up at the mausoleum. But as Chance and Chloe race towards any room with a lock, Chance puts the brakes on. He'll regret this - but he's saying 'no'. No? Chance wants his/their first time to be unrushed. We've waited long enough, Chloe pants. Chance wants it to be special. Chloe doesn't want to miss the moment - that would suck. Chance can't promise angels singing - the heavens opening - but can't she give him a bit more time? He promises the most romantic, wonderful evening of their lives. OK, Chloe agrees- but only cause she loves him ~kiss~

Arriving back at CL's, Amber's leaving a whiney message for Chloe (they wouldn't even let her leave the cookies for Cane). She then accosts Mike to keep Cane here. Mike sympathizes - but is overwhelmed with cases. Yes - it IS that bad, he closes his briefcase and leaves Amber to moan about the Ashby's love story ending in an immigration office. Discreetly perched at a nearby table, Daisy watches Mike leave.

Lily thanks the doctor and hangs up. Lily? Daniel prods. In tears, Lily refuses to fall apart - her cancer's not gone. No - she can't tell Cane face to face. It has to be over the phone. Regrouping, Lily calls to announce the chemo worked - your wife's cancer free. Cane's delighted - there was no way he'd leave if she needed him. No - go - she'll be waiting for him. Cane promises to be back when the babies come - they'll have the rest of their lives together. Hanging up, Lily sniffles to Daniel - this is how it has to be.

Kay's now bought back 51% of CI - and will resume control in 30 days - and take him out to dinner. This is you right? Can I have your autograph? Tucker grabs the copy of RS - get outta here! With a lame 'hey' in protest, the kid ambles off to the bar. Son of a .... bitch, he concludes as Jill raises her glass - then walks out (leaving Kay to flip through the magazine). You can't believe I had anything to do with this, Kay sputters (as Tucker glares at her).

Next: Jill tells Kay - This is NOT about you playing Mommy to Tucker - this is about you getting your company back ... Mike's driving - Phyllis is in the passenger seat - You would be keeping a child away from Nick, Mike bellows - you do that and you're no better than Adam! ... Victor faces the groggy Adam - You'll stay in this cabin until you tell us what happened to Nick and Sharon's baby (who, in the background, wait anxiously for the answer)

My Thoughts: What? Chloe's not a 'Lily fan' - how can that BE? Everyone LOVES Lily .... Since Cane claims he's being deported for 'impersonating Philip', doesn't that make him guilty of identity theft (and fraud/forgery) every time he signed the name Philip Chancellor? So why is it assumed that he'll be allowed to come back to the States - he's a criminal ... Who's running CL's these days? How unsettling must it be for the customers to see Amber and Chloe enthusiastically throwing disgusting ingredients into a mixing bowl - even scraping whatever spilt onto the counter in with the batter. How unhygenic - I'd certainly think twice before ordering a muffin ... Poor Chloe - so close to finally getting laid (yet still left frustrated). Nice that Chance promises a romantic and wonderful evening - something tells me it'll be a very short evening too ... Oh poor Lily - the girl never catches a break - but what doctor's office gives this type of devastating news over the phone? ... How exactly does Cane plan to escape? .. Why would Mike agree to update Chloe and Amber on Cane's situation - what happened to client/attorney privledge? .. If Amber and Chloe think THEY made the huge mistake in marrying Cane, how do they think HE feels (having been duped by both ex wives) ... ... What a great idea - Amber and Chloe would make great character witnesses - (especially the scandal/crime magnet Amber)... We can lie for you no problem, Amber offers (as it's the only thing she's good at). What makes them think Cane would eat anything they baked? And do they really think Cane won't be deported because he has a tummy ache and the runs? .... If Lauren's aware of her actions last night, surely she remembers it didn't ALL take place in the privacy of Paul's apartment. Paul may indeed keep that to himself - but what about all the kissing and petting done in a very popular bar ... Why does Tucker steal the kid's copy of RS? You're a billionaire - buy your own. .... DR Jasper is in charge of Patty's case? That's great - if only they could ever find him ... How ludicrous that no one noticed Daisy spiking Lauren's coffee - or putting a large envelope into Mike's conveniently unattened and open briefcase. Is she wearing her invisible cloak? Won't Mike remember Daisy sitting beside his briefcase? ... Poor Mike - first Lauren's all horned up - the next minute she's got a headache ... Why is it necessary for Daisy to get Lauren's coffee? Isn't anyone waiting tables at CL's? Love how Daisy pushes the coffee - it could 'help' your headache - since when did coffee cure headaches? ... Nice that Cane's pseudo Mom and Granny have finally come to visit - but why aren't THEY offering to be character witnesses - make him sick - use their connections - pull some strings - cut through some red tape? Oh well - at least they've agreed to babysit Lily ... Kay's a race horse? Yeah - from the Seabiscuit era ... Hi you guys, what's up? Paul asks. Well, YOU were 'up' last night Paul (for all the good it did you). Paul doesn't know how to thank Mike? How about paying him? Mike does have an hourly rate ... Lily must have bionic ears (able to hear Jill and Neil's conversation from the bottom of the stairs). Good thing Neil got stuck with the table right in front of the revolving door ... ... How lucky too that Lily has no trouble reaching her detained husband by phone (is there a phone right in his cell?) ... Having met Tucker in the seediest bar in town, why would Kay sign any contract not reviewed by her legal team?
