Daniel takes a break from throwing stuff in a box - when Phyllis visits. Both are 'a little wobbly'. Phyllis is more than happy to help get rid of Amber's stuff - she may have loved Daniel - but Amber's reckless, thoughtless and clueless.... Hey - nobody talks about my little girl that way, Tawny makes her debut to say.

At the club, Tucker saunters over to gripe about Jill ruining his shirt. Send me the bill - better yet - run a tab, Jill snarls over her menu. Claiming he's no bartender, Tucker sits - if he made Jill the same cocktail he did when they first met, would she sit to drink it with him - or would he be wearing it?

Back from his work out, Cane declines breakfast - don't we have a decision to make? Lily's already made hers - she won't jeopardize her babies (to make chemo easier for herself). Knock knock - Cane's invited her family over. Don't mention the stem cell trial, Lily hisses (then shakes her head as Cane goes to answer the door).

Reed toddles in to find JT packing up his briefcase. Gabby's taking Reed to the park - father and son will have lunch after Daddy's meeting. No, not with Mommy. But knowing Reed misses her, JT will plan something together 'real soon'.

Victor and Nikki are visiting Vikki (who whines about how scared Reed is). He doesn't understand what's going on. He knows you love him - and he'll be back tonight, Victor and Nikki offer support - sure the Judge will reverse his decision.

Vikki relays her last conversation with JT (who admitted he was judgmental - and agreed to cooperate - but that didn't last long). Victor steps aside to take a call from Judge Wylie. The case has been reassigned? Victor scowls (as Vikki gripes about the 'worthy' Mac to Nikki). Victor returns to say he has somewhere to go - he'll see them later.

Uh oh - Gabby won't be able to take Reed to the park after all. Looks like JT will have to make other arrangements so he can attend his meeting.

Still at the club, Tucker isn't one for commitments (and judging by her track record, neither is Jill - though eye contact and sexual tension continues).

When Neil and Malcolm arrive at the Ashby's - followed by Dr Liv, it doesn't take long before the cat's ut of the bag. What procedure? Neil prods - while Lily and Cane scowl. Cane admits he made a mistake calling them over - Lily wants to make this decision alone. What decision? Liv explains the procedure (which she and Cane fully support) - and how it can help Lily. Malcolm agrees - Lily should do it. But nothing they say will change Lily's mind. As she goes to feed Humphrey, all exchange frustrated looks.

When Daniel introduces Tawny to his Mom, Tawny laughs - thinking she was some cougar hitting on her son in law. She's not surprised to hear Phyllis and Amber had their issues - Amber once married a Forrester of Beverly Hills, she boasts. So - where is Amber? Daniel has no idea. Eric's hiding from me, Tawny gripes about him stealing her credit card. Never mind the other danger he's hiding from - she'll tan his hide. Do I look like some kind of dumb hick? Well, actually .... Phyllis mutters. Tell Amber to get her butt back here -with the boy - or I'm calling the police, Tawny snaps.

JT was fine with being with Victor Newman's daughter when he married Vikki - OK - well, maybe not fine - but he was calm and patient - where did that go? Nikki figures that JT worked and lived with Victor for Vikki's sake. But clearly, he grew to resent it. Victor reigned himself in too - because Vikki loved JT - but now it's every man for himself - and poor Reed's caught in the middle.

Sitting Reed at one table, JT and Tucker settle at another. JT's got a new project - Tucker's going after Beauty of Nature. No - it's not for sale - yet. First step, gathering info. More than crunching numbers - Tucker wants insight. Surely JT has friends at NE. You want me to spy on Victoria's company? JT balks. It's not required - but this IS an opportunity for JT to be useful. And as Tucker moves onto other business, Reed picks up a ball someone's bowled his way - and by the time JT ends his meeting, he's puzzled to find Reed's vanished.

At the Ashby's, Liv hands everyone a folder of info. Lily returns to say they've wasted their time. Support me, please. When Malcolm 'can't', Neil snipes - who's talkin' to you. Lily explains she's now a mother - she won't risk her babies lives. We can have it all, Cane implores - have faith. Lily won't make a decision that might kill her babies - doesn't anyone understand? Neil does - do what you need to do ~hug~ As Jill arrives (to be updated by Cane), Malcolm pressures Liv to pressure Lily - then turns on Neil. Don't you get it - are he and Cane the only ones who give a damn?! Malcolm then appeals to Lily - he'll fight the way Dru would. Neil's angry - are you kidding me!? I am her father! The argument intensifying, push loudly comes to shove (as Lily watches helplessly).

Nikki's 'been there' - a marriage over - a child suffering. Vikki recalls the beginning - falling in love - the wedding. It's so cliche - but she was bursting with happiness - loving JT SO much - and now - what's left? Nikki denies it's over - she and JT are connected forever (by Reed). It keeps getting uglier and uglier, Vikki whines. The anger will fade - Nikki firmly believes that if she and JT are meant to be together again, they will be - if not - it'll still be OK.

Having summoned security, JT and Tucker worry - unaware that Victor hovers by the revolving door - carrying Reed (who carries his present - the red ball).

Back at Daniel's, Phyllis suggests he give Tawny the phone - so she can call the police. Backing down, Tawny doesn't want them to go to jail for kidnapping - so - where's Amber and Eric? She knows Daniel's broke - his little art career going nowhere. He must think Eric a meal ticket - but Deacon won't write HIM the same fat checks SHE gets. Does Deacon know you spend his big fat checks at the casino - leaving Eric alone for days on end? In fact, Phyllis decides to call the police on Tawny - for child abandonment.

Enough! Cane referees the fight - everyone out! Neil thinks Malcolm needs to go. We're done fighting. Take it outside, Jill barks. OK - Malcolm's leaving - but understand this - he needs more time with Lily. Work it out - please, Lily implores. Outside, Jill sends Neil after Malcolm. Jill's going too - but is so sorry Lily has to make this decision. What should Lily do? Jill's not asking Liv as a doctor - but as a woman who loves Lily 'like a mother'.

At the hearing, it's now JT who's missing (his lawyer assuring that he'll be there - nothing is more important to JT than his son). Nikki whispers to Vikki's lawyer - perhaps JT will lose custody for not showing up this time.

Taking Reed, a relieved JT gently scolds him for taking off. Victor's scolding is a bit more harsh - perhaps JT should have been watching his son - lucky he was here. Lucky, Tucker scoffs - and with something to keep Reed entertained. JT agrees - he doesn't have time for this. After JT leaves, Victor saunters off - leaving Tucker to call the courthouse.

Liv once had to make a similar decision - but does see the medical and personal side. Should Lily go ahead with the treatment? Jill asks. Yes, Liv feels she should - it could give 'hope' - the best medicine. That's her unbiased opinion. The Ashby's need to make a decision - soon. Jill assures Lily she'll make the right decision - and they'll all be behind her 100%.

Outside, Neil lectures Malcolm - even this becomes about HIM. It's LILY'S decision. Will Malcolm assume responsibility if the worse case scenario does happen. Not like becoming a parent was important to HIM. He's not here because of Lily - he won't even tell them the reason he's there. Neil has him figured out - he's in too deep and trying to dig himself out. But - it's too late. As the brother's then resume their fisticuffs, everyone inside piles outside - stop! As the others head back inside, Liv orders Malcolm to GO - cool off!

As JT's lawyer asks for 5 more minutes, the Judge reads a note passed to her. When JT arrives with Reed, Nikki agrees he shouldn't be here for this (so ushers him outside). Having read the note, the Judge cuts off JT's apology - and Vikki should be ashamed of herself. Vikki doesn't understand. Your father tried to stop me from being here, JT tattles. That can't be right, Vikki stands. JT's lawyer thinks that typical behavior of Victor - and has provided a list of similar incidents. Yes, that's why it's so important JT gets full custody. The Judge agrees his case has been made convincingly today - petition for joint custody DENIED. No! a horrified Vikki shakes her head. Do something, she hisses at her lawyer (as the Judge exits).

Lounging on the bed, Phyllis gets the number for Child Protective Services in Furnace Creek (from the police). There's no proof, Tawny protests. Phyllis will hang onto the number anyway - in case Tawny pesters her favourite daughter in law. She now sees Amber in a whole new light - amazing she turned out as well as she did with Tawny for a mother. Now SCRAM! Get out of here! Tawny beats a hasty retreat (leaving Phyllis and Daniel to say 'wow'). Yes - she meant what she said about Amber. Phyllis is now rooting for her.

Back at the Ashby's, Lily can't believe Uncle Malcolm lost control like that. Neil won't let him badger Lily. He cares about you - feels guilty, Jill and Liv understand. Pull together for the family? Neil doubts Malcolm can do that.

At the club, Malcolm makes a beeline for the bar. Nothing new to report? Tucker asks out the side of his mouth. No? Then what's he doing here? Malcolm announces that flying under the radar for him is causing problems with his family - he won't be Tucker's mole anymore.

In the courtroom, Vikki's not satisfied with visitation - I don't deserve to lose my son. What the hell happened? she snaps at JT. Ask your father, he snips. Reed in her arms, Vikki cries - she can't go have fun' (but wishes she could). In the hallway, Nikki calls Victor - what did you do? The Judge was told you deliberately tried to detain JT - Vikki lost. Tell me it's not true - we can fight this. We WILL fight this - Victor will take care of things - see you at home ~click~ Victor then mosey's over to Tucker - suspecting he already knows how the hearing went. Tucker removes his glasses - JT's a good kid - like family - Tucker doesn't like anyone messing with him. Victor inches in menacingly - know what I do to people who mess with my family? I reserve a special circle of hell for them - and that's where you're headed.

My Thoughts: Liv is like a mother to Lily - uh huh .... Yeah - Amber's so afraid of Daisy and Ryder hurting Eric that she leaves her home and husband - but Daniel's so unconcerned he leaves the door unlocked - for anyone to walk in. After almost being killed last week, you'd think Phyllis would be cautious enough to click the lock after entering the apartment .... Odd how cordial and friendly Phyllis was on the phone with the police - nice that they provide phone numbers for her - despite her spearheading a lawsuit against the DA's office - having a husband in jail for murder - and being guilty of obstruction of justice. Looks like next year's Policeman's Ball won't be a bust after all - everyone will have made up ... Furnace Creek has it's own Child Services Department? .... Why is Daniel bothering to pack Amber's stuff in a box? If she wanted that ugly green satin dress, she'd have packed it already? And I doubt she's gonna miss all those books Daniel tossed into the cardboard box ... Fresh out of her cast, and 'wobbly', why is Phyllis wearing stilettos? She sure handled Tawny easily enough (who appears to be wearing clothes from the Gloria Bardwell collection) .... Eggs left over from breakfast? How could Cane possibly refuse cold, leftover eggs? Or a 'bagel'? Judging by his hair, it appears he had a vigorous workout .... Why is the Judge basing Reed's best interest on random notes from billionaires - with a grudge against the Newman family? How credible is Tucker in this matter? Isn't he under investigation? Is he not biased - as JT's boss? Why haven't JT or Vikki been asked to provide a plan of care? Why hasn't a child psychologist interviewed Reed? What other similar 'incidents' does JT's lawyer have against Victor? And if Victor's the only problem, why hasn't Vikki just volunteered to keep her son away from him? ... Rolling a ball across a restaurant floor? Great move Victor - sure would make for a nice lawsuit if a waiter tripped over it .. If merging Beauty of Nature and Jabot Cosmetics was a great idea, wouldn't Victor have done it during one of the many times he owned Jabot? .... Hey Daniel - your Mom just invited you out for coffee - implies she wouldn't mind a coffee - can you not boil a kettle? ... If JT's like family to Tucker, why didn't he go to support him at the hearing? If his mere written word can win the case, his presence would guarantee JT a win ... Why does Tucker need a world renowned photographer as a mole? What valuable business related information could Malcolm possibly pass along? ... With all these imposters and psychos running around, why would JT - in and EMPTY restaurant - not put Reed at a table a little closer? ... Neil understands where Lily's 'coming from in all this'? Really? He can empathize with a barren, cancer riddled woman - who's got babies on the way? ... Kinda odd that Phyllis NOW chooses to 'root' for Amber - now that she's left her son miserable ... How many times will Vikki cry - as she bids Reed good bye? That can't be good for the child ... A red ball Victor? How pedestrian - you'd think a billionaire who gives away cars and million dollar horses, would come up with a better 'present' - he coulda distracted Reed with a remote control car or sumthin' ... With Victor muddling up everything he's supposed to be 'handling' and 'taking care of', it's no wonder Tucker's unconcerned about Victor reserving a special spot in hell for him. Did Victor call Satan to make a reservation? But if Tucker had any balls, he'd have shown Victor the footage of Adam unsealing the bids - and say the audio he's sharing is even more interesting (as Adam talked of it being Victor and Nick's idea). Now THAT mighta shut Victor up.
