Today's Spoiler

Despite Phyllis' best efforts, Nick too puzzled to perform - the topic Hightower (and why he'd kill Adam - the man who saved his life). Too many questions - no answers.

At the club, Victor and Nikki are also discussing the mystery - why would an upstanding citizen suddenly become a killer? And where IS he? Meanwhile, Sharon's given some accumulated mail to Adam - and is stunned to learn that Adam closed his bank account.

Emily literally bumps into Jack at CL's - oh, please can't he attend her hearing with the Medical Association (to say what a devoted doctor she is). Oh - alright - thank you, Emily agrees.

Putting hid new business cards in a peanut bowl JT hands him, Rafe so appreciates Mac throwing his party at her bar. He's excited - getting suspended could be the best thing that's ever happened to him. Hopefully there's no drama tonight - and everyone will get along.

At CL's, Vikki's still trying to keep Billy quiet - and no, they can't go to Rafe's party together - both having reputations to protect. And Yes, he deleted the wedding video. When Abby comes along, Vikki assures they are NOT dating - and after she leaves, is told that Billy lied in court (about them 'hooking up'). And as Billy moves on, Abby's left to smirk (as she watches the wedding video on her phone).

Arriving at Jimmy's, Chloe couldn't be more happy to be out on a date with Chance - until she sees the huggy Heather offering to buy him a drink (for getting her job back). Yeah - sure she'll buy his 'girlfriend' one too. Chloe stands by awkwardly as Chance and Heather talk shop. Rafe then introduces his boyfriend, Tyler around. Vikki arrives - of COURSE she's 'flying solo' tonight (but scowls when Billy makes a grand entrance - thrilled to be with all his favourite girls (Heather and Chloe beam).

As Jack sits in the background, Emily expresses regrets over patient complaints that their confidentiality has been compromised - but hello, she was Patty's victim. Even Dr Jasper was fooled - why should she be penalized for Patty's actions? Jack looks almost as ill as Emily - it can't be ignored that Emily become involved with the man responsible for Patty's psychosis.

OK - Phyllis and Nick must think like Adam (a guy who dressed up as Victor's dead wife - and hid Ashley's miscarriage). What did Adam want in exchange for his bone marrow. Ah ha! They look alike, Phyllis declares.

Likewise, Nikki and Victor notice the similarities in appearance - but no, they aren't related - and didn't cross paths until Adam donated bone marrow. Sharon comes along with the bank statement - Adam closed his account on April 1st - the night he was killed.

Keeping one eye on Billy (who's chasing Heather around), Vikki needles Mac - her feelings for JT are in the past? Yeah - right. Sipping her drink alone, Vikki's rolling her eyes at Billy and Heather's animated conversation (about boxer shorts - and the top ten reason's Billy's irresistible to women). Getting in the last zinger, Heather then moves on to getting under Chloe's skin. But Abby wins the award for annoyance - camera guy in tow, she announces - guess what everyone - you're all gonna be on TV

Yes, Emily knew her engagement to Jack was a conflict of interest - so, she removed herself from the case. Jack stands to take the blame - he couldn't help falling in love with her.

Still in bed, Nick and Phyllis brainstorm over a tub of ice cream. Hmmm - only Adam's body was found (burned beyond recognition). Hey - Nick has a crazy idea. Getting the laptop, he wonders if Hightower having Adam's bone marrow gave him his DNA too?

Jack continues to campaign for the good doctor - she had serious misgivings about their involvement. Jack wouldn't listen - and they fell in love (no crime in HIS book). Emily now talks of the good that came from her being committed to a padded cell - it's deepened her compassion and understanding. Take THAT into consideration when deciding her fate.

Much to Abby's frustration, she (and her crew) are hustled outside - but don't worry Ken - she'll go back inside (with her hidden purse camera). Back inside, Vikki pretends not to be talking to Billy (who should 'go for' the ADA who 'wants' him). She'd be flirting with all the cute guys (if JT weren't here). Billy scoffs - the gay guy? Or the 'taken' Detective? Across the room, JT wonders why Mac told Vikki they were only friends? Isn't there something between them? Telling Chloe about her reality show, Abby's finally found someone who supports the idea - but oh look - Chance had company when going to fetch Chloe's cell phone from the car. Wasting no time, Chloe confronts them. Are you hitting on my boyfriend?! While Chance looks embarrassed, Heather chuckles.

Victor, Nikki and Sharon conclude that Adam went to the bank after escaping from the hospital. Nick and Phyllis race over - they found Hightower. Where? Buried in Adam's grave!

While the two person Medical Board deliberates, Jack gives a nervous Emily a pep talk in the hallway. He then tags along as Emily's called back into Conference Room 104.

Threatened much? Heather scoffs - Chance is forbidden from talking to anyone he works with? Or any woman? Only cows who throw themselves at him, Chloe's hauled off by Billy - who then sits her down for a scolding. Chloe's scared she'll lose Chance. No- - he's a good guy - and WAS a virgin - you're freakin' for nothing. Chloe agrees - but looks unconvinced.

Mac and JT discuss their 'friendship' - how could he be interested in a pregnant woman. Sexy as hell? Mac made an agreement not to have sex. Fine with JT (who doesn't want to confuse Reed) - but he sure wants to.

Abby's pitching her reality show to Vikki (who refuses to lend her money - or get involved in family drama). My own sister won't support me, Abby pouts - but then dismisses Rafe to go ask Billy to invest - even to stick it to Victor? Billy warns it's a nasty business. Abby can be as ruthless as him - and if she wins the bet, he puts her on the cover. Meanwhile, JT and Vikki are discussing Reed - he hates keeping mother and son apart - if only there was a way to work this out.

Nick explains that the body was so badly burnt, they did the DNA sample from bone marrow (which Adam planned on). It's so perverted it reeks of Adam (Nick checked it out online). Victor WOULD think it a silly idea - but anything's possible with Adam.

Jack and Emily are both relieved to hear that Emily's medical license won't be revoked - she'll be on probation for 12 months (her record wiped clean if there's no further 'infractions' during that time). Embarrassed by giving Jack an impulsive hug, Emily agrees to a celebratory coffee.

JT admits he's been unfair - and Reed's suffering (without his Mom). Vikki would do anything to resolve things. Hearing that JT still questions Vikki's judgment, she casts a glance at Billy - then claims she'd never do anything to jeopardize her relationship with Reed. I won't let you down, she vows.

OK - so Chloe made an ass of herself - can't they just 'rewind'? Every other man she's been with has been 'untrustworthy'. Can Chance forgive her? Well - he HAS heard about make up sex ~kiss~

Pouting about Chance and Chloe kissing, Heather whines to Rafe - she's a single bitter girl - hooked up with a psychopath - then GC's biggest playboy - and now, attracted to someone who's taken.

Abby's complaining on the phone. She couldn't get either of them to fund her show - but, she'll get even.

On the CL's patio, Jack raises his mug - to toast the newly reinstated ... Dr Emily Peterson? two DEA agents show up flashing badges - seems she's under arrest for selling controlled substances. Nope - there's no mistake. Jack! Emily bleats helplessly.

Vikki tells Billy that JT's gonna let her spend more time with Reed - and now they need to annul their marriage (before it comes back to bite Vikki). Meanwhile, JT updates Mac - believing Vikki's promise (to be more responsible). On cue, Abby commands everyone's attention - to toast the newlyweds. All exchange confused glances - then hover around Abby (as she shows off the video on her phone) - then glare at Vikki and Billy (JT looking most angry).

Now concluding that it's Hightower in Adam's grave, Victor states the obvious - Adam's alive (and Ashley, Sharon and Faith are in 'mortal danger').

Sporting a beard, shades and a hat, a man hides behind the newspaper he's reading (reporting the the disappearance of the Minneapolis mechanic - and with large photos of Adam and Nick - the sole suspect in his murder). Looking mighty pleased with himself, Adam sets his beer down - and reclines on his beach side lounge chair.

Next: How the hell do you 'get married by accident'? Chloe scolds the busted newlyweds (as JT chuckles in disgust) ... Watching the fallout, Abby tells Ken that the ratings are gonna be insane (as Chloe hauls off and slaps Billy across the face) ... Victor lays down the law - Mr Pomerance is ordered to stay 'here' - until we're finished (as Nikki, Nick n Phyllis, Jack and Ashley watch on).

My Thoughts: Of course Jack would be allowed to sit in on a confidential Medical Board hearing (where he's the problem being debated) - so why wasn't Paul invited to join in? Or Dr Jasper (who wrote a recommendation - despite barely having any contact with Emily - or even spending any significant time at Walworth) ... Emily's still shaky from the med withdrawals? Patty didn't seem to suffer any lasting effects - and didn't she take the last few doses administered to Emily? If the meds were that addictive - and the withdrawals that severe, Patty wouldn't have had the willpower to horde the meds in her mattress. Oh well - if Emily's suffering from withdrawals - refuses to seek treatment for it - and is back to drinking coffee, let's hope she's not operating a motor vehicle or heavy machinery. Odd that Emily's been punished for her 'indiscretions' - nobody took issue, or threatened to revoke Dr Hastings license when she was having sex with Brad - the husband of her BFF - and cancer patient ..... Good God Nick - slather (liberally) some self tanner on your upper thighs - breasts are supposed to be the white meat - the thighs the dark meat. Nick, however, has a tanned torso - and blindingly white upper thighs (clearly he's been out in the sun - wearing those long surfer shorts that allow him to only tan from the knees down) ... The clever Newman investigative team has concluded that Hightower's 'buried in Adam's grave'? Huh? Adam was buried in a grave? Last we saw, Victor decided Adam didn't deserve a burial - and shoved his crated remains out of the cargo underbelly of the plane (whether the plane was airborne - or Adam's crate was left sitting on the runway is still a mystery to me). Surely either act is illegal - at the very least littering - at worst committing an indignity on a body (or something like that). if Victor pushed to crate out while airborne, it's a miracle he and Nikki weren't sucked out too - never mind that their hair wasn't even mussed - or the reckless act on endangering anyone the crate might have landed on) THAT'S the mystery I'd like solved ... Love how Billy subtlety does an about face when JT gets to Vikki before he does ... What's the big deal with this 'Bumpy The Camel' book? They make is sound like a 'must have' - like Harry Potter for preschoolers (or Oprah's latest recommendation). Is the author also paying for promotion? ... Chloe complains about the men in her life being 'untrustworthy'? THAT'S rich (no pun intended) - considering the deceit the gold digging Chloe perpetuated for months (when duping Cane into marriage) ... Note that the other front page article in the GC chronicle Adam's reading states 'Cesarean births rise in US'. Guess GC stats aren't included - cause everyone there has babies while stranded in elevators or snowed in cabins. Traci even pushed Colleen out into Brad's waiting arms right in their living room. I can't recall many (if any) cesarean sections) deliveries.
