As a confused Emily's lead off in handcuffs, Jack leaps into action. He's calling Baldwin - don't say anything til we get there!

At Jimmy's, JT and Chloe are the most outraged by Vikki and Billy's 'accidental' wedding (as announced by Abby). It's not bad enough that Vikki slept with Billy - but then she had to go and MARRY him!?

Ashley arrives at the ranch - having left messages for Jack and Billy. Vikki's also unavailable. Adam alive? Ridiculous. Sit tight Ashley - all will be explained when Pomerance arrives (which he does promptly). All that's asked is that he keep an open mind to their evidence.

The Newman's claim they've uncovered the key to the case. Yes - Pomerance knows of Hightower - but he's got a rock solid case against Nick. The Newman's then spell out the bone marrow connection - do we have your attention now?

Mike joins Emily and Jack - seems heavy duty narcotics are being distributed as prescribed by Dr Peterson. Assuming it's Patty's doing, they must prove it. With the arraignment scheduled for the morning, Emily's lead off to a cell for the night. After everything that woman's been through, Jack gripes - then wonders why Ashley's left numerous messages.

Back at Jimmy's Chloe and JT scold the newlyweds - did they not consider their kids when leaving the country without notice? Vikki and Billy explain had a lot of rum ... cake - and figured it was just a traditional ritual. They didn't realize it was real - and it's being rectified. Heather scolds Rafe - you knew? As Abby salivates at the entertainment, Chloe slaps Billy. How could he do this to Delia? Billy doesn't see how it effects Delia. Chloe objects - anything that effects their child IS her business (JT couldn't agree more).

In a holding cell, Mike assures she won't be put in with the other prisoners. Emily - the straight arrow - can't believe it. Her brother was the screw up. Yes - she expects too much of people (which is why she's still single). Jack still wants to marry you, Mike reminds - but realizes she can't forgive him for not realizing he was living with Patty.

Jack joins the gathering at the ranch - stunned to hear there's evidence that'll clear Nick - and that Adam might be alive!

JT blasts Vikki - perhaps it'll never be safe to leave her alone with Reed again. Meanwhile, Billy lashes out at Abby (for hurting her sister). All watch as Billy follows Vikki out.

Everyone takes turns explaining their evidence to Jack - Adam donated bone marrow to Hightower etc. etc. They later met up at a diner - Justin thanked Adam for saving his Dad's life. Hightower's no killer - this 'terrific citizen' isn't missing - he's dead. Nikki lists the details in the photos of both men. Pomerance remains unconvinced - but is ordered to stay until Victor's finished - ya got that?

While Mac's ready to close down the party, Chloe's in need of a drink. No one seems too impressed with Abby (who's sure the drama will make her show a hit).

Back at the trailer, Vikki's in all in a dither - but about to call her lawyer, notices numerous messages. Oh God - she's been summoned for a family meeting - they know! Billy's got messages demanding he get to the ranch too. Uh oh.

Victor et al demand Pomerance do another DNA test. All know what Adam's capable of - especially when cornered. And look - he emptied his bank account. Hightower was a model citizen - a devoted father - with leukemia. Pomerance points out that Adam's buried in a potter's field - the family gave up any claim to him.

Rafe's party's dwindled down significantly. And as Heather exits, Abby's served. As her lawyer, Rafe reads the letter - Victor's initiated an injuncture that prevents publication of footage of him or Ashley. Dammit, Abby fumes. And as Ken frets, Abby gripes about everyone getting in her way.

On the ranch's front step, Billy and Vikki exchange a quick 'good luck' kiss - then head inside - only to learn Adam's likely alive. Pomerance won't be bullied - but why? What does he have against the Newman's? Pomerance holds a grudge against everyone in the room - they run amuck - think themselves above the law. Victor killed Palin - Jack forged the diary - and what about poor Patty. Their collective arrogance knows no bounds. So - the DA's moving Nick's trial up. Team Nick's left frustrated - but Nick will see to it that Nick doesn't take the rap for this.

Now at JT's, Mac sends Gabby home - then listens to JT groan about that jerk, Billy, being Reed's stepfather. Mac has to admit that Billy's a good father - and they ARE ending the marriage. Mac admits she's a bit down about being replaced (even if her relationship with Billy is long over).

At the mausoleum, Chloe feels equally ill about Vikki being Delia's stepmother (after her losing custody of her own son). Chance has to wonder if it's more about Billy moving on. Whoa - Vikki and Billy? It's NEVER gonna happen.

Back at the DA's office, Pomerance rants n raves to Heather - if Nick's release was a set up, he can kiss his bail good bye.

Meanwhile, the crowd at the Newman's plan their next move - calling Baldwin. On speakerphone, everyone takes turns griping about Pomerance making Nick take the fall for everyone's crimes. The court date's coming soon. Well - since Adam's buried in a municipal cemetery, it could take months to exhume the body. Sharon, once Adam's wife, now regrets getting the annulment.

In Emily's holding cell, Mike assures bail won't be a problem - first thing in the morning. She won't be left there - with bars and locks on the doors (again). Hang in there, Mike exits. On his way through the station, Heather asks Mike if Adam could be alive. She can't risk her career again - but unofficially, she'd be willing to help.

Alone, at home, Victor flashes back to lecturing Adam - all the people who loved him - Ashley, Rafe - Sharon... and look what he did to Nick. From his hospital bed, Adam vows they'll pay for dragging him into their 'kangaroo court'.

Sharon and Nick assure Ashley that Faith will be constantly watched - and if Adam shows up, Nick will kill him for real this time. Nikki scolds her son - don't even think it. Jack's off to pack a bag - then will stay with Ashley. All owe it to themselves - and each other to find out once for all if Adam's alive. Jack will do anything to help Victor (who appreciates the gesture). As Nick and Phyllis leave to check on Summer, Sharon does the same with Faith. Victor assures Nikki - Mike's the best lawyer around - we'll solve this.

Chance scolds Chloe - first she's jealous over Heather - now over Billy moving on. Chloe claims not to care - but who's she trying to convince? Chance - or herself.

Kissing Mac, JT's fine with no sex. Reed sleeps like a rock til 7. Alrighty then - Mac will spend the night in JT's arms (and be gone before Reed wakes up) ~kiss~

Arriving at the trailer, Vikki and Billy are relieved - but they SHOULD tell everyone soon (before Abby does). Vikki sure won't be sleeping tonight. Good - sleeping's the last thing on Billy's mind ~kiss~

Like lead majorette, Abby marches into the ranch to confront Victor (for serving her with the injunction). I'M out of line? Abby snarls - why not pick on Vikki - for marrying Billy Abbott? Nikki's jaw drops. What are you talking about? Victor scowls.

Next: I can't support you on this, Ashley seems almost sorry. You're gonna have to, Abby snaps - when the Judge rules in my favour ... Patty look shrunken beside the doctor who's glaring at her. Nick grills her - Richard Hightower - Do you know who that is? Did you see him at the ball? Did you see him with Adam? ... Victor confronts Vikki - what were you thinking? Marrying this idiot? (Billy's eyebrows react to the insult).

My Thoughts: Abby (along with Billy, and everyone else) keeps referring to Vikki as her 'sister' - guess we're all supposed to forget the icky fact that Vikki was also once Abby's stepmother (In fact, I believe it was Vikki who was supportive during Vikki's AIDS scare - for which she was twice tested for) .... So - I'm actually enjoying the new Abby - even if it IS a bit weird that Ryder was scolding her last week for drinking under age - and suddenly, she's of age .... Huh? Jack can't see Emily? Because 'visiting hours are over'? Odd - since Nick was able to have four visitors at one time - presumably later than when Emily was arrested (as CL's was still serving patrons - Jimmy's party was in full swing - and Pomerance, Heather and Mike were still on the clock) ... Have a great weekend.
