At the potter's field cemetery, Victor and Pomerance go at it - Victor only wants the truth - even if it IS that his son's a cold blooded killer (if Hightower IS the one buried). As Jack and Nick hold back the lunging Victor, Pomerance isn't impressed with the Hightower family's authorization - and plans to arrest all three grave diggers.

Sharon!? Phyllis rolls her over. OMG - she's been sprayed with pesticide. Relax - unable to move the moaning Sharon, Phyllis vows to go for help. 'My throat', Sharon croaks.

At CL's, Chloe whines - but can't very well return her latte to the 'barista from hell' (who treats her like a high maintenance diva). Maybe you are, Chance gives her a kiss. Chloe's further unimpressed when Heather bops in - to borrow her boyfriend.

At the county jail, to visit his brother, Kevin's irritated to learn his wife's already posted Ryder's bail.

Having taken Fen to the club for Gina's spaghetti and meatballs, Mike's annoyed to get a call from Victor. Can't the Newman's stay out of trouble for 24 hours, he gripes. Go ahead - Lauren will be just fine (but sending Mike off with a kiss, looks anything BUT fine - when she sees Ryder arrive with Jana).

Suspecting Frank's attack on Nick a 'set up', Heather would like Chance to go question him with her. As Heather waits outside, Chloe complains. It's business, Chance assures. Heather needs to get a life - and stop ruining HERS, Chloe whines - and is left to pout when Chance leaves with a reassuring kiss.

After Jana explains that she posted Ryder's bail - he's trying to be a better person, Lauren returns to her son. An angry Kevin arrives - this is crazy (and not the Jana he knew). I guess I'm NOT the Jana you know, she replies.

Now at the police station, Jack and Nick are unable to reach either Sharon or Phyllis. Victor appeals to the DA - can't he release Nick? His wife could be in danger. NO can do.

Her phone dead, Phyllis digs in Sharon's pocket for HER cell. Dammit - no signal. Breathe! she orders Sharon.

As the sitter comes to pick up Fen from Lauren, Kevin scolds Jana - she's different - it's like he doesn't know her anymore (and she doesn't give a damn how HE feels). Jana doesn't see a problem with trying to help someone - Ryder has no expectations of her (unlike Kevin). She remembers loving Kevin - but doesn't anymore - maybe not ever. Jana plans to use the rest of the money she borrowed against CL's to get Ryder a suite - then a place to live. Kevin argues that it's not about money - it's about fighting for something they both once wanted. Get outta my way! Kevin marches past Ryder (leaving Lauren to take her turn at Jana).

At the station, Mike talks about the Judge's writ for hatius corpus. If it IS Adam in that grave, their butts will be nailed to a wall.

Having pulled the car up as close as she can, Phyllis frantically encourages Sharon to open her eyes - and get in the damn car - if not to make her life miserable, then for Faith and Noah. Barely responding, Sharon can merely groan.

At Jimmy's, Kevin drowns his sorrows with Tequila and beer - and isn't thrilled when Chloe joins him to whine about Heather (the manipulative the skank). Escaping to another table, Kevin's followed. Chloe thinks him a great guy for standing by Jana, He's faithful - like Chance. Would Kevin 'eventually 'give in' if a girl threw herself at him? Hmmm - depends on trust - without trust, there's trouble.

Interviewing Frank Ellis, Heather does most of the talking. With the three strike law, why would he attack Nick? Was it a set up? Offered a deal. Frank would like extra privileges etc. - but has something bigger to offer (and knows way more than he should about Riggs). And what Frank knows about Riggs will effect both Chance and Heather. Since Frank wants 'out' before he'll say more, Heather and Chance head off to discuss it,

Back at Jimmy's, Chloe's not impressed to hear that Kevin thinks Heather 'pretty'. She's a librarian with tacky suits and a knock off briefcase (who's never had a mani/pedi in her life). Chloe's NOT insecure - she's annoyed. Next topic; Jana. Yeah - it's great that she's showing 'compassion' - but why towards Ryder? Kevin 's done fighting. Screw it. Yup - looks like he's given up on his marriage.

Still at the club, Lauren doesn't understand why her friend (and sister in law) would bail out one of the people who terrorized them. Jana assures that Lauren's safe - Ryder needs a chance (just like she and Kevin got). Jana can see in Ryder's eyes that he's a good person too - plus, he helped Jana. Lauren looses it - SHE'S the one who protected Jana - and THIS is how Jana repays her? Ryder's the son of Sheila and Tom - damaged. Is what Jana's doing 'good' - or reckless??

As Phyllis begs Sharon to open her eyes, Nick arrives at the corn field - and as he carries Sharon out, Phyllis explains that a she inhaled pesticide. You'll be OK, Nick reassures the limp ex in his arms.

With all gathered in Sharon's hospital room, the doctor thinks it good they got her there in time - it could have been fatal. Victor kisses Sharon's forehead as her bed's wheeled out for a procedure to remove the poison from her lungs. As Jack asserts it's no coincidence that a crop duster flew over that particular field, Mike intends to find out who owns it.

At CL's, Chance confides in Heather that he never felt the business with Riggs was finished. Can SHE ask the DA to offer Frank a deal? Of course - she owes him for coming along to the interview.

Though Chloe encourages Kevin not to give up, Kevin thinks it better to know NOW - than to wait and hope for something that's never going to happen. The moral of his story> If you find love, hold onto it- cause just like that, it can be gone.

Mike brings the crop duster to the hospital. Russ Curtis is sorry - but no one was supposed to be at that field. Victor doesn't blame him - but has questions (and learns that Adam paid Russ to fly him to Ottawa). As Nick starts huff and puff, Russ goes for water. Mike gets the call they've all been waiting for - dental records prove that Hightower IS the man buried in the grave. Adam set this whole thing up! Jack declares - as Victor decides it's time to call the DA. Oh God, please let this be over, Phyllis bleats.

Back at the club, Ryder steps aside - so Kevin can tell Jana that he's done - he'll always love her - but there's no reason to hold on. Yes, the marriage is over. At the bar, Ryder apologizes to Lauren (who claims that thanks to Jana, she's no longer afraid of him).

At CL's, Heather will talk some more to Chance tomorrow - sorry for stealing your boyfriend, she grins at Chloe. No alone, Chloe has great news - Chance will love it.

As the crop duster continues to explain that Adam paid him very well to be flown to Ottawa (but didn't give any reason), Pomerance arrives to piss everyone off - Nick will now be charged with killing Hightower. Told not to leave town, Nick mutters that HE'S the one he should kill. Remaining calm, Victor vows to end this once and for all.

Still at the club, Kevin talks of what he and Jana had - respect - love - but Jana's actions indicate she doesn't want it. The Jana he knew is gone - so, he'll let her go (for both their sakes). After Kevin leaves. Ryder returns (to hear he deserves the royal treatment). Jana will go check him in.

Back in her room, Sharon can't talk due to the tubes down her throat. Jack and Nick explain what's occurred - and the procedure that saved her life. Everything will be OK, Jack assures Phyllis (as both watch Nick and Sharon gazing into one another's eyes). In the hallway, Victor asks Russ to take him to the exact same spot he took Adam too. I'll find him, he vows.

On the patio, Chloe claims to have had an epiphany - then stuns Chance by asking him to marry her!

Getting into her car, Heather notices some obvious wires. Realizing it's a bomb, she's further distressed to find her doors are locked - trapping her inside!

Next: Jill barges into the trailer - Billy, what are you thinking!? She stops dead in her tracks at the sight of Billy and Vikki in bed ... At the club, Ashley knows all about ruthless men. With Victor, she found in unnerving - but with Tucker, it's kinda impressive ... A nervous Heather talks through her car window. If I move..... The car's gonna detonate, Chance finishes the sentence.
