At CL's, Mike's ever so impressed with Victor (who, still on Adam's trail, is looking for the skipper of the boat that took Adam from Ottawa to Quebec). What the hell's the matter with that jackass egomaniac DA, Victor fumes (updated that he's taking the case before the grand jury - even though it's Hightower who was buried in Adam's plot). Pomerance wants to indict Nick (Victor vows to fight).

Slowly wheeling her IV tower down GCM's corridor, Sharon's encouraged along by Nick. The doctor's also impressed - and agrees Sharon should be able to go home to her baby soon. Heading back to her room to be checked out, Sharon and Nick reminisce about their square dancing phase - and teaching Cassie and Noah the steps. Oh, what fun. Now back inside the room, Sharon confides she was scared to die. Nick wouldn't let that happen - unable to imagine his life without her. Now, let's get you back in bed. Looks like I got here just in time, Phyllis announces her arrival (to the guilty looking pair).

JT's not to happy to have been summoned to NE's CEO office - reminds him of the bad old days. Vikki merely wanted to keep him 'in the loop' - she'll be gone a few days (yeah - that's what she said when she went to Dubai, JT scoffs). OK-ing Vikki stopping by to see Reed, JT's parting shot warns Vikki not to drink too much Saki (in Japan) and get married.

At Jimmy's, Mac taunts Billy - he's really serious about Vikki. She then jokes about the twins playing dodge ball in her belly - but who can complain with what Lily's going through? Billy hopes the treatment works - those twins are gonna need their Momma.

At Neil's, Devon poses in his grad cap and gown - a proud Roxy at his side. With everyone, including Malcolm in the kitchen, Cane slips onto the balcony to call Lily (who's unable to hide how weak she is). The test results aren't good, she finally admits - the treatment's not working. The doctor's have done everything they can. Lily tells Cane to stay put - and don't ruin Devon's night by telling the family. No - Lily won't consider the other option - using the amniotic fluid.

It appears to be a dark and foggy night - on some sort of dock - when Victor calls Vikki to discuss her trip to Japan (and gripe about McCall). Frazzled, by a call summoning her to security to sign for a package, Vikki gets back to Victor (who tells her where to find the Mitsogushi info - be discreet). No worries - no one will know, Vikki assures. From a locked drawer, Vikki pulls out an ornate Asian looking wooden box - then hides it when Billy pops by. Vikki's annoyed to hear that Tucker may be on to the whole Mitsogushi deal - but it didn't come from him - he's just giving her a heads up. With Victor's portrait staring down at them, the door's locked - the desk cleared - and clothes come off.

In a seedy bar, Victor shows Adam's photo around until he pisses off the uncooperative regulars. He then makes a beeline for the bar to order a Tequila from the friendly bartender. Yeah, she may have seen this man - looking for a boat to take him to Quebec. Any idea who might have taken him? Victor prods.

On the desk, Billy and Vikki make out - Victor's portrait staring down. Meanwhile, Victor explains it's a matter of life or death - then approaches the man the bartender suggests. Getting nothing but attitude, Victor offers double what Adam paid.

Mac serves JT a beer - what brings him by? He's asking her out on a real date. Not bowling, sushi or roller coasters - but Mac's game - how about tonight?

Neil gives Devon a gift bag. Wow - an amazing camera (for when he starts working for Uncle Malcolm - who gives it his seal of approval - nice, really nice). Devon gives his Dad a hug - then takes a photo of Roxy, his first victim. Spotting Cane weeping on the balcony, Malcolm joins him. Cane confides that the treatment's not working. He's told his lawyer to sue Mac - the twins stem cells may be the only thing to save Lily's life.

Things are somewhat tense in Sharon's room. Yes, she's doing great, Phyllis agrees with Nick (must be his 'magic penis touch'). Sharon whines about fate intervening with them bonding with Faith. Oh - it's not fate - it's Adam, Nick frowns. Stepping out so the doctor can examine Sharon, Phyllis hopes she doesn't plan to return to the ranch - so close to them. Nick assures that Phyllis didn't walk in on anything - Sharon's in here for helping US. Phyllis just thinks it best for THEIR family to have space from Sharon. Nick disagrees - Sharon shouldn't be alone right now (and can be protected at the ranch). Mike arrives with bad news - the grand jury has indicted Nick again - looks like they're going to trial. A disappointed Phyllis hugs her husband.

In NE's CEO office, Billy and Vikki get dressed - then notice HIM watching. Cover your eyes Pops, Billy quips at Victor's portrait (as he kisses Vikki).

Now in Sharon's room, she's aghast - how could Nick be charged for murdering someone he never met!? Mistaken identity, Nick answers (as Mike continues - it was dark in the basement etc. etc.). Nick knows he's been set up by a real pro. But, Phyllis feels Adam underestimated them - and when Victor finds that son of a bitch, he'll pay.

Back at the bar, Victor continues to work on the uncooperative skipper (who refuses to drink the 'good stuff' Victor bought for him). Leave me alone - never seen the guy - get outta here, the skipper snarls. But - throwing a punch, skipper's soon surprised to find himself reversed, in a headlock - and quickly handing over the watch Victor demands. Giving skippy a punch, Victor has him by the throat as he barks that the watch was inscribed by his son's mother - how did he get it - if he never met Adam?

Still in the office, Vikki thanks Billy for his 'bon voyage' - then manages to get rid of him. Unaware that Billy's hovering at the open door, Vikki tells someone on the phone that she's catching the last flight to Tokyo.

Over cake, Devon's revels in all his graduation gifts - and praise. He then opens Lily's gift - wow - Miles Davis - his favourite album - signed (and framed). But how? Lily's resourceful, Cane forces a smile - which fades as Devon reads the 'sweet' card aloud. Looking almost angry, Malcolm drinks his beer.

JT's thrilled - Gabby will stay to babysit Reed - Mac's got the bar covered - this is working out great - until Mac gets served that is. She gasps - I can't believe Cane did this - he's suing me for my amniotic fluid!

Mike continues - don't underestimate Pomerance. Nick tells Sharon not to worry - his fingers are crossed that she'll be home tonight. As Phyllis scowls, the doctor tells the 'popular lady' that she can go home. One condition - take it easy - will she have help with the baby? Arms folded, Phyllis' face is a grim mask, as Nick assures that Sharon will have help - as much and as long as she needs it. Phyllis enthusiastically offers to get her prescriptions filled - Sharon, equally enthusiastic, thanks her. Need any help getting ready? Phyllis chirps. In the hallway, Mike now wants to focus on the case - it's not hopeless - Nick had no ties to Hightower (who's blood wasn't on his jacket). Adam's recording proves it was a set up. Now - we just gotta prove it in court.

As the regulars scowl in the background, Victor interrogates skippy. And when one breaks a bottle and threatens Victor, the bartender (carrying a baseball bat) wards him off. Tell him what he wants to know, she orders skippy. Tell me NOW, Victor echoes (still gripping skippy by the neck).

The cake keeps flowing - as Cane begs off (to go take the dog for a walk). Knock knock - who's there? Mac and JT. What is this!? she marches towards Cane - you wanna tell me what the hell you're thinking? a furious Mac shoves the papers at Cane's chest.

In the airport lounge, Vikki takes a seat to check her ticket. In the seat behind her, Billy puts his newspaper down. Look at that - you're in 2D. I'm in 2C, he smirks (Vikki? Not so impressed - but not overly surprised).

Nick helps a now dressed Sharon walk about her room. Faltering for a brief second, Phyllis arrives with the medications - don't mention it, she grins. Nick dissuades Sharon from 'helping' (as do Phyllis and Mike). Nick doesn't want to get too confident - Pomerance got two indictments - he COULD get a jury to convict him.

Holding off the mob of regulars with a baseball bat, the bartender tells skippy to start talking. Victor finally releases skippy's neck - does he want the authorities to know he smuggled a foreigner? Oh alright - skippy will take Victor to the boat. Leaving a wad of cash on the bar, Victor's told not to come back. Into the foggy night Victor returns - only to be hit in the back of the head as he's looking around for skippy. Unable to support himself with the chain link fence any longer, an unconscious Victor falls to the ground.

Sao Paulo, Brazil - a phone rings. Awakening, Adam answers - hello? Victor showed up in Canada, he announces after hanging up - he figured it out - knows I'm alive. The woman beside him rolls over - they can't know for sure - we let the trail go cold- don't worry babe, Skye smiles confidently.

Next: Malcolm defends Cane - the man's trying to do what's right for his wife. You're taking HIS side? Neil doesn't seem impressed (as Mac and JT glower in the background) ... No wife should have to put up with this, Phyllis asserts. You know what Phyllis, Sharon bobbles her head and puts her hands up - you're right! ... Skye hugs Adam (who's only wearing a beard) - we're this close from the biggest score of our lives - shame we weren't murdered a long time ago ...

My Thoughts: Sharon can be 'protected' at the ranch? By who? Those super duper security guards? Can't Nick just hire Sharon and Faith a coupla bodyguards and send her packing? .... Maybe the brilliant Michael Baldwin, could be a little more discreet as he walks onto the CL's patio - loudly blabbering about what Victor's up to - THEN thinking he better take a look around - again ever so discreetly (in case there's any pesky patrons eavesdropping). I almost expected Jana to appear - and in her droll monotone, say sumthin' stupid like - oh - yes - Victor Newman - I remember him - but I have no feelings about him parachuting - in the dark - into a foreign country - to look for his dead son. If I had any emotions, I'd say he's bloody balmy - but I don't - so - would you like some coffee? .... Oh look - it's dead Skye - with dead Adam - doesn't anyone ever stay dead in GC? ... Even Sean Young <sarcasm> stellar in her role as Meggie the bartender </sarcasm>- whom most everyone in Hollywood thought WAS dead, is alive and well (if not exactly looking or acting particularly well) ... Not sure who this skippy ('Shaw') character is - but he looks an awful lot like Patrick Swayze (who, unfortunately, IS dead). Amazing that old Victor's still got it - he really took skippy, a man half his age, and a rough looking guy, by surprise. Victor must be one helluva a tipper - bartender's usually try to keep their 'regulars' (even the lousy tippers) - you don't see Mac walking around threatening her patrons with a baseball bat ... Um - aren't any of those documents Billy and Vikki are fornicating on important? What if ... um ... fluids ... um ... smudge crucial details - or make a signature illegible? OK - let's just be blunt here - what if Billy spurts off a few zero's from a contract? What then? ... I did find it kinda odd that Vikki's knees were actually glued together while Billy was atop her ... 'Rushing' to the airport, did Vikki get a chance to shower after Billy's 'bon voyage'? .... His only faux son graduating - and the best Neil Winters can do is dry out reheat Gina's famous lasagna? He couldn't reserve a table at the club - and have the dish served fresh from Gina's oven? And NOW, Malcolm's gonna 'handle' the salad' - it couldn't have been made earlier in the day? (or picked up at the club along with the lasagna and cake? Does Gina's caesar salad suck or sumthin'?) ... Note to Roxy - exuberant hand clapping and salivating over gettin to the 'loot' might be a tip off that you're a gold diggin ho. Nice that she concealed her disappointment that Devon got actual gifts - not money (though she may be thinking she can go exchange the gifts for some cold hard cash) ... Why was Devon's gift signed only 'from Lily'? Shouldn't it be Lily AND Cane? .... IS Cane 'out of his mind'? The least he could do is warn the woman carrying his spawn, that he's suing her - does he think shock and anger are good for a pregnant woman? Mac should call them cattle rustlers in Australia - tell them where they can find Ethan Cane Ashby ... Lily had tests done 'the other day' - didn't she just get there the other day? ... Mac knows where every ladies restroom is in GC. HOW exactly could that come in handy? Can't she just look for the usually obvious 'ladies' sign? Or the little woman icon on the door? ... Hey Vikki - you're the boss, have the messenger sent up to your office .... Be discreet? Vikki's coached? How the hell can she be discreet - if she's carrying along that huge fancy wooden lockbox? ... Phyllis isn't 'thrilled' with Sharon 'being on top of' them all the time - but what she really objects to is the times NICK was on top of Sharon?
