At CL's, Chloe waves her fingers over the muffins until Kevin notices her new ring. She sure is happy with it - her man - but not lovin' how much time Chance has to spend protecting Heather. Of COURSE she trusts him - I can do this. I have the ring, Chloe reminds herself (as Heather saunters over - I'm all yours).

Jana's also at CL's - she's not there for her phone - or to work (as Kevin's thoughtfully arranged the schedule so they no longer work together). Even more thoughtful, Jana hands the keys over - she's moving out.

Phyllis is about to pop the cork when Nick bursts in. He's going to Ottawa - and will be home before anyone knows. Dad MUST get to Brazil - before Adam's trail goes cold.

At the ranch, Nikki - quickly updates Jack on Skye being alive - the phone call traced to Sao Paulo. Of course Jack can stop Nick from going after Victor (if Phyllis hasn't already). Cape flapping behind him, his hair swoop ahead of him, Jack races out (leaving Sharon to tell Nikki she has something of great importance to announce).

A pro at having the runs being on the run, Skye reassures the skittish Adam - learn to relax. Yeah right - the second Adam does, he'll get caught.

It seems that Victor and Shaw are now on the freighter. Stepping into a small cabin, Victor unties Shaw - and now it's off to wherever Adam went (or by golly, Shaw's fish bait).

Phyllis is trying (and failing) to talk Nick out of going after Victor. Whoa no - she or Nikki can't go - who knows what traps Adam's set. Besides, this is Nick's problem. Bag over his shoulder, at the front door, Nick's now got Phyllis nagging in one ear, Jack in the other - HE will go find Victor AND go to Brazil.

Sharon explains she's leaving the ranch. No problems - she appreciated their hospitality - but it's time she and Faith have a home of their own. Faith needs to see that Mom's an independent woman. Surprisingly, Nikki doesn't find it a good idea - she worries for their safety. With Sharon and Faith in danger, it's no time for her to be growing' a spine.

Victor and Shaw are um - negotiating - Shaw can keep what Adam and Skye paid him - otherwise, he'll tattle to the authorities that he's been smuggling foreign fugitives - how bout THAT? Initially shoved aside (when Shaw's posse arrives), Shaw's now a tough guy - who gives lessons on manners.

Sorry to interrupt, a grateful Heather understands what an inconvenience this is on their personal lives (while Chloe understands it's business - but agrees Chance should be at home - with Delia). Can't someone else play bodyguard? No way - Chance takes this personally - someone's targeting them. And when Chloe suggests they all go to dinner or a movie, Heather declines - and as she heads off to make a call on the patio, Chance jumps up to follow (with the briefest of kisses, guess he'll see Chloe tomorrow).

No, Jana doesn't want to stay in an apartment she has no attachment to - like Kevin does. She's off to - guess where - the GCAC - not 'with' Ryder (though Kevin suspects there more to it than Jana needing some 'pampering'). Jana will find other (cheaper) accommodations for her and Ryder - separately - soon. Good night. Sulking over to the counter, Chloe can tell Kevin's night is sucking just as much as hers.

With Adam on the laptop, Skye talks of the Judge who's helping them - for a price (which'll be higher if he sees Adam panicking). Time to reel him in - so his hands are dirty too. Adam has no time for that - set up a meeting NOW - or they leave Brazil now (before Victor finds them).

Nikki and Sharon debate her leaving the ranch - until it comes out that Phyllis is pushing the move. Sharon's actually making sense - both raising children with Nick, she and Phyllis must coexist - be adults - do the right thing.

Nick argues with Phyllis and Jack (who warns that he might even be playing into Adam's hands). Nick will do whatever it takes to bring Adam to justice - until Heather and Chance arrive (seemingly invited by Jack and Phyllis). Nick can put the bag down - he's not going anywhere.

At the CL's counter, Chloe and Kevin commiserate. Chloe whining about Chance being Heather's bodyguard 24/7. She trusts Chance, Heather - not so much. Kevin whining too - his marriage is over. Ryder, Jana's kidnapper, HIS brother, is now her BFF. Who'da thunk it?

Hello neighbour. Neighbour? Announcing she just checked in, Jana shows up at Ryder's suite with a bottle of wine - want some company? Bare chested, Ryder invites her in.

Heather and Chance confront Nick - they know about his chartered jet (and his plans). Judge's orders - he's to hand over his passport and driver's license. You'll thank me one day, Jack assures Nick in parting (though it doesn't look like it'll be any day soon).

Even Shaw's pals look nervous when he pulls out a shotgun. See? Victor shoulda minded his own business.

Skye returns - the Judge will protect them - for a high price (which he'll call them with later). Adam wants to pay up (in case Victor shows up). Skye goes to shower. Hang onto the cell phone - the Judge will be calling. From Adam's other pocket, he removes his wedding ring.

Nick grumbles as he hands over his passport and license. No - there's no need for the DA to know about the chartered jet. Nick can't believe they're on HIS side - why aren't they clearing his name (or letting HIM do it)? When Phyllis agrees that Heather should talk to the DA, Chance reminds that thanks to their kangaroo court, Heather was almost disbarred. As they leave, Nick threatens a suit - once the truth comes out. Now alone, Nick's not too happy with Phyllis' quest to keep him safe. She's not too happy when Sharon summons Nick up to the main house. I need some air anyway, Nick slams out.

Chloe and Kevin continue to prove that misery loves company. If anyone was supposed to make it, it was Kevin and Jana. Chloe brightens up when Chance returns - then invites Heather to stay at the mausoleum. SUCH a generous offer - but Heather just wants to go 'home'. Yes, Chance understands - then takes Chloe aside - to say how much he'll miss her. When a passerby brushes up against her, Heather freaks - instantly regaining Chance's attention.

Bringing Mr Ears to the tackhouse, it seems Nikki's really there to discuss Sharon moving. And when Phyllis points out that Nick runs when Sharon calls, Nikki makes a better point - Nick will still coming running - but it'll be to the penthouse - across town - where he and Sharon will REALLY be 'alone'.

Up at the main house, Sharon assures she wasn't 'guilted' into moving to the penthouse - then hears the shocking news that Skye's alive (and with Adam). Sharon demands the number from Nick - needing to hear 'his' voice.

Buck up buttercup, Kevin encourages - Chloe's fiance might be spending the night with another woman - but at least she knows where he is. Kevin has NO idea where HIS wife is.

Oh - there she is - finishing off the bottle of wine in Ryder's suite (he, still in nothing but his PJ bottoms). Yes, he finished her book - but how can one become as spiritual as Jana - as kind - compassionate - horny. No silly - you're no 'cold cyborg'. Jana bailed him out (and forgave him). Ryder knows there's something in there (and he's gonna dig it out with his tongue).

On the wrong end of Shaw's shotgun, Victor talks of the people who'll come looking for him. You won't get away with this. Obviously not aware that he'll be crushed (like a bug), Shaw sends his pals out to 'cast off' - Victor will be taking a boat ride after all. Shaw then shoots a hole in the wooden wall - of the cabin - and water starts pouring in - which makes Victor look nervous.

Chloe doesn't want to go home alone - and obsess about Chance. Kevin's stalling too. Hey - Chloe suggests a movie. Yes - 'us two'. Kevin agrees - but no obsessing. He then grabs the ring hand Chloe keeps waving around (and leads her out).

How cute - Heather's suite's divided by sheets (cause there's no 2 room suites at the club). In her PJ's, she finds him busy on his laptop. He figured she could use some privacy. After Chance declines room service, Heather thanks him profusely (and confides she grew up in an abusive home - and someone wants me dead - boo hoo). Assured she won't die, Heather climbs into bed. On his side of the sheet/room divider, Chance gets back on the laptop.

Ryder's kissing Jana on the bed - then stops - I can't do this. I want this, Jana pants (as she unbuttons her top) - it's the first thing she's wanted in a long time (to take the hideous frog print top off?). Alrighty then - good enough for Ryder ~kiss~

Phyllis admits she may have made a mistake - but Sharon MUST grow up (and stop leaning on her husband). Now that Adam's gone, Phyllis is giving Sharon another chance - a mistake? If so, Phyllis will live with it (but gives Nikki a terrified look).

WHY does Sharon need to hear Adam's voice? To know he's alive - for sure - maybe he'll give her a clue. Nick mulls it over - then dials the number. With Skye in the shower, Adam answers - hello? Sharon's speechless.

Meggie's throwing trash in a dumpster when Jack arrives looking for Victor. Inside the bar, Jack claims to have an important message from his son. On cue, Shaw and his merry pals stagger in for drinks - it's a wake for an old friend.

Through the hole, water continues to pour into the freighter's cabin that Victor's locked in. With a few feeble kicks at the door, Victor looks around for an escape.

Next: Daniel and Abby are in a pool. It makes you sexy, Daniel pants ~kiss~ ... You're going to Tokyo, right? Ashley asks Tucker rhetorically. Come with me, he invites ... Getting panicky, Victor now tries to plug up the hole water's gushing into profusely.

My Thoughts: Meggie sure is having a good week - doesn't look like she gets many customers as high falutin' as Victor and Jack (maybe she'll have better luck with Jack than she did Victor) ... Good thing Chloe DID buy that blueberry muffin (since her hand actually DID come into contact with it as she was dazzling Kevin with her engagement ring) .... Meggie must set the same 'come and go' kinda hours at her bar - that Mac does - flipping the 'open' to 'closed' sign whenever they feel like it. They likely do it for kicks - watching through the window - flipping it to 'closed' as they see thirsty would-be patrons hurrying over for one of those 'cold beers' advertised in neon .... It sure seemed like Meggie was locking up and going home for the night .... Ooooh - a free muffin - no wonder the Fisher's can't turn a profit at CL's - Jana and Ryder staying at the GCAC can't be too good for the bank account either. But, if Chloe didn't want the muffin, couldn't she have donated it to the shelter or sumthin' - insteada using it like a pin cushion with her straws? (hey - Kev's gotta pay for those things too ya know) .... Gotta go with Chloe on this one - Heather's clearly trying to be difficult. There's no need for Detective Chancellor to be sleeping IN her room - and no police department would even allow it. When folks are protected at GCM, it's usually adequate to have one guard - posted OUTSIDE the bedroom door ... Nice sheet-slash-room divider - wonder where Chance got a cable long enough to stretch across the room. Clearly he's been watching too many old Cary Grant/Doris Day movies. At least Heather's wearing prudish suitable pajamas (whereas Chloe would be in a short teddy) ... Jack's the only one who can stop Nick? I thought for sure Nikki was gonna prevail upon Sharon .... Boy - these must have been some easy sets to build. The freighter's cabin musta been designed by the same guy who did Meggie's bar (which could be the same designer who did Jimmy's). It was only at the end of the show that I realized Victor wasn't back in the gloomy bar. "Cast away"? Guess the freighter Shaw's shot a hole in isn't worth much - and he hasn't heard that the captain's supposed to go down with the ship. Ironic - that Victor would again find himself on a sinking boat (he had fun boating with Walter Palin - and even as another character - on the movie Titanic) .... Russ choosing that moment in time to dust the crops was one of Adam's set ups? Then why weren't the Newman's dragging him over to the DA - instead of sending him off with their thanks and an envelope of cash. How come Russ gets money for almost killing Sharon - and Victor doesn't offer Shaw anything but a few shots of 'the good stuff' - and then death threats? ... If Victor has 'connections' in Brazil, why can't understand Portuguese? ... Nice that Sharon wants to take care of herself and her baby - guess by 'herself' she means herself and the nanny Ashley shipped over .... The club's not really Jana's 'kind of place'? Then why was it the first and last place Kevin took her on a date? ... Is Jana 'seeing' Ryder? NO - definitely NOT (yet an hour later Ryder's actually ridin' er). That must be what Jana meant by pampering. It's simply a language misunderstanding - on account of her speaking a foreign language ... Understatement(s) of the day go to Sharon - Phyllis won't be sad to see her go - and - she hasn't exactly respected Phyllis' marriage (though Phyllis didn't really respect hers either) ... Line of the day goes to Phyllis - it could take Nick DAYS to find Victor (in Ottawa)?! It's not just the capitol of the Province - it's the capitol of the country dumbass - with close to, if not, a million residents. And Sao Paulo? It's the largest city in Brazil! Population - oh I dunno - a gazzilion? ... Either way, it's ridiculous that either Jack, Victor or Nick could find someone (especially someone who doesn't wanna be found) in either city. Whomever's successful should be hired - by Paul William's investigations - immediately - name your price.... Why haven't Adam and Skye gone to that miracle doctor - with a photo of whomever they'd like to look like - Adam can come back as Nick - and Skye could come back to replace oh I dunno - Vikki .... Where IS Paul anyway? Looking into the case of the missing prescription pad - to absolve Emily (when it's already been determined that she was in a padded cell at the time) ... Chance came all the way back to CL's - because he needed a coffee? How much 'pampering' goes on at the club - if one can't even get a coffee delivered to their suite? ... Heather wants to crawl into bed - at home - the club? is home? The ADA can't afford a home where the bed isn't in the living room? .... You won't get away with this! Victor bellows at Shaw. But HE could get away with throwing a man - who witnesses had seen him pummeling - tied to a chair and a cement block - through a trap door and into a river?
