At the tackhouse, Nikki and Phyllis briefly mention Victor and Jack heading to Brazil - to find Skye and Adam (who Sharon, unbelievably, still has feelings for). There'll be problems when Adam's returned to GC. Phyllis knows Nick will want to protect Sharon - but trusts his love for her. Playing the role of supportive mother in law, Nikki suggests a walk - and as they toddle off, Phyllis is delivering the good news - Daniel's divorce from Amber.

Flashback to last night - Abby slipping away from the sleeping Daniel - to view the video of the making out in the pool. When Daniel awakens, Abby's snuggled beside him on the loungers. No - things won't be weird between them - it's just 'havin' fun'. As the 'almost' used up Daniel's about to go for seconds, Nikki and Phyllis arrive to clear their throats. Good morning.

In the Japanese hotel's restaurant, Ashley, Tucker, Billy and Vikki marvel at what a small world it is - of all the hotels in the world .... There for a meeting, Vikki explains she's there on business (which has nothing to do with Billy). Doesn't Jabot usually deal in Japan? Yup - and that's why Tucker's in Tokyo.

At the mausoleum, Jill's excitedly awaiting the arrival of Liz Foster - when a call informs that 'Mom' collapsed on the plane - and was taken to GCM. Summoning the car, Kay reassures - GCM has excellent doctors - relax. Meanwhile, Liz is brought into the emerg. room on a gurney - Snapper (Jill's brother) is at her side barking orders to the medics - Move! Move!

Giving out some more order, Snapper reassures his mother - he'll call Jill. No need - she and Kay are there - and as Dr Snapper goes off to speed up lab tests, Jill and Kay race into her room. Oh Mama! It's so good to see you, Jill squeezes her weak mother.

Scrambling for her towel, Abby can't believe it's 10 am! No way - she and Daniel really wore themselves out swimming. Throwing on a T-shirt, Daniel agrees - exhausting. As Nikki just looks down her nose, Phyllis isn't impressed when Abby tells her not to worry about Daniel's lack of sleep - he's in excellent shape. He was even ready 'to go' this morning. As Nikki diplomatically scolds Abby (who's parents are out of town), Abby thanks her for the swim - but is suddenly chilled. Now left alone with Daniel, Phyllis gives him a flick in the forehead. The problem? Doing the breast stroke with Victor's daughter? He'll find out alright, Phyllis warns - if Victor does.

The verbal sparring continues in Japan - as Vikki boasts of the Newman's friendship with Mitsogushi. Personal connections is the key? Tucker may have to work on that. As Vikki leaves for her meeting - and Tucker makes a call, Ashley pounces on Billy - sure he's working in a story, she wants to share info. When she plays the John card, Billy agrees (and as Tucker arrives, watches Vikki hauling around the large gift wrapped box). Tucker and Ashley are surprised to see Vikki's not meeting with Mitsogushi. Out of earshot, Vikki greets Mr Yonioshi (who's delighted to see what she's brought in the box - an antique gun - a token if their thanks).

Poolside, Phyllis is scolding Daniel (who's not walking down the aisle or anything - and doesn't need any reminders that he's already got two failed marriages). Admittedly 'protective', Phyllis begs Daniel to save himself from 'that' inevitable disaster. Fine - Daniel will keep his hands off Abby. Meanwhile, at the ranch, Abby tries to win Nikki's support (as her parents are so 'uncool'). No dummy, Nikki knows when she's being manipulated.

The tubes in her nose (and the 'cold' she has) don't stop Liz from bantering with Jill and Kay (who look alarmed when her laugh turns into a cough). Grumbling about young doctor's fresh out of med. school, Jill's stunned when Dr Snapper paces in to tend to Liz. I'll be damned, Kay mutters.

With Liz sedated, Snapper thanks God he was able to get privileges at GCM. Mom has more than a cold - at the least, it's pneumonia. The worst? Wait for the test results. Yes, Jill's surprised to see him (almost into having a heart attack). Getting the test results, Snapper doesn't like what he sees (but let's consult some specialists before fearing the worst). Cradling her mother, Jill murmurs that Snapper will make everything OK.

Mr Yonioshi passes along his best regards to Vikki's father - impressed with the gift, their arrangement will continue. After he leaves, Billy pops up (to question Vikki 'regifting' her gift). Is she holding out on him? ~kiss~ Watching, Ashley does indeed have a plan - 'accidentally' spilling her drink on Mr Y (who - along with Tucker - is impressed when Ashley apologizes in fluent Japanese). When Tucker comes along to be introduced, it's Mr Y's turn to be impressed. Handing over a business card, they're to call if they need a civil servant while there. After Mr Y leaves, Ashley chomps her martini olives triumphantly - she has many talents Tucker doesn't know about. Oh look - he's the Minister of Zoning - what could Vikki need HIM for? Behind some shoji screens, Ashley meets Billy's eyes - as he kisses Vikki.

Oh Noooo - Abby's not asking Nikki to choose sides. Good - cause she won't. Nikki knows Abby's intelligent - but she's also impulsive and reckless - desperate for attention. Victor's a private person (who finds publicity distasteful). Abby should use her talent - not her family (to get her trust fund). When Phyllis returns, Nikki sniffs that Abby was just leaving. Phyllis hopes she doesn't expect Daniel to drive her - cause he's looong gone - he's just looking for a good time. A really good time (Abby's grin leaves Nikki and Phyllis' smiles frozen).

Snapper doesn't have a diagnosis on Liz yet - there's more tests to be run. Has the cancer returned? Hopefully not - let's take it one step at a time. As a choked up Jill flees the room, Snapper puts Liz's mask in place - relax. In the hallway, Jill weeps - she can't die - she just can't (as Kay consoles wordlessly).

With Billy, Ashley and Tucker reiterate that they're there on business. Now - what's the scoop? Billy doesn't think the Newman's have an angle (and can't very well run a story - if there's no proof of whatever their theory is). The Newman's are up to no good - again, Tucker assures. Is Billy in or out? He's in.

Meeting up at CL's, Daniel and Abby chuckle about being treated like kids (with Abby even daring to mock Phyllis and her 'fun facts'). Claiming that Daniel's secrets are safe with her, Abby continues to flirt - does Daniel (the artist) 'do nudes'? (cause she's available - if he wants to 'do' her). Overexposed? There's no such thing (to Abby). See you around the pool. Yeah - Daniel hears it's gonna be a hot summer. You have no idea, Abby purrs in parting. As soon as Daniel's moved on, Kent arrives - with his trusty laptop.

In the hallway, Jill boo hoos to Kay - she was so sure Mom's cancer was gone for good.

**The show went black for about 2 minutes - doesn't seem anything crucial was missed**

Nikki understands Phyllis protecting Daniel - but comes a time you have to let go. Phyllis knows - but Abby (who likes to wrap men around her finger) is waiting with open arms. Hmmm - that reminds Nikki of someone - but no - Victor won't hear about this Abby/Daniel incident from her.

Arriving at the club for his work out, Daniel overhears a girl walking down the stairs and talking into her cell phone at the same time. The topic? Abby Newman - making out with a hot guy - in the pool at her Dad's estate! That little stinker, Daniel shakes his head.

Meanwhile, Kent reviews the clip online - it cuts off before it gets to the good stuff. Of course it does - Abby wants to leave the public wanting more - of her.

What? Vikki's bribing government officials? There's no proof. OK - well, has Billy seen anything suspicious? Hmmmmm - like a gift wrapped antique gun she gave the man? No, he shakes his head - not really. The zoning department must be involved because Newman's building new offices. He'd love to help some more - but who's gonna teach all these lovely Japanese ladies YMCA? He's lying, Tucker realizes - as Billy enters the empty hotel's night club - where Vikki's singing karaoke. And despite flinching at the off key notes, Billy hops up and joins in.

At GCM, Jill takes her anxiety out on Kay (whom she accuses of being jealous). That simple woman is my mother. Kay will cut Jill some slack - because she's scared. But it's not about Jill (who needs to put her self pity aside - and go in that room and be the daughter Liz needs right now). In her room, Liz confides that she has a secret to confide to Snapper - about Jill.

Next: Mike's at the tackhouse - we WANT Phyllis to testify, he explains to the surprised looking Newman's. SHE could be the key to proving that Adam set this whole thing up .... Liz pleads with Snapper - promise me you won't tell Jill!! ... Sharon's with Adam (in the Bahamas) - I've never loved a man like I've loved you, she gushes.

My Thoughts: Sorry for the delay - soccer night - I have thoughts - boy do I have thoughts (who wouldn't? - what with the return of the Hoff - German's answer to <insert your favourite actor's name> - circa 1989) ... but then y'all would have to wait another half hour or so (depending on how long I feel like running off at the keyboard - and low ludicrous the show is - and other variables - such as whether my fingers are cooperating - or acting up).... So - I'll just bid you all a good night - and go put my kiddies to bed now :-)
