Barking 'no comment!', Mike and Nikki join Phyllis in the courtroom (as Owen bounces in with a cheery 'good luck counselor'). Joining his mother, wife and attorney, Nick's told not to focus on Victor - and Brazil - worry about today's hearing. Nick knows his attorney's the best - but we all know it'd be a lot easier if Victor arrived with Adam.

Meanwhile, the chopper idles - as Adam reminds Victor that he disowned him - why would he want to go back to GC with him? Victor and Sharon need his help? Go to hell!

Strolling in with a bouquet of flowers cut from the mansion's beautiful gardens, Emily talks of missing Jack (who's been trying to give her space). What was it like? Being with Patty? Not like 'this' - Jack missed Em every moment she was gone. Ding dong - it's Paul - and Jamie. I'm so glad you're OK, Emily hugs her brother.

As Lauren's in a hurry to leave the boutique (for the trial), Jill stops her - the results are on their way over. Yes now - and soon they'll know whether she and Lauren are sisters.

Lauren reluctantly tells Jill she'll stay - but doesn't look nearly as eager. She already has a family. This whole thing could be a misunderstanding. Jill soon has the envelope in hand - ready? Yeah, let's do it, Lauren pouts.

Emily's so glad Jamie came. Not like he had a choice. And how could he know it was Patty who gave him the prescription pad? Not like he was the only one fooled. Jack ignores the insult - now it's time to help Emily. Brother or no brother, it's HIS mess to clean up. As Jamie turns his back on Jack's lecture, Emily sends him off to Nick's trial - she can handle things. Paul's 'got it covered' (but leaves Emily alone to persuade Jamie to 'step up' - if only for himself).

Owen's got Ms Hurley on the stand (testifying that Nick talked of getting his hands around Adam's neck). Despite Mike's objections, the DA's making points - Nick also said that he'd kill Adam if he ever saw him. Next Owen presents the guard who pulled Nick off Adam (shouting that if he ever went near Sharon or Faith again, he'd kill him). For his next trick, the DA calls Nikki to the stand.

As the Judge and his sidekick head to the helicopter, Victor brings in the big guns - literally. Sharon covers her mouth as armed men arrive - the Figgeralli's. Kill me, Adam challenges - surely, Sharon's up for an execution isn't she? As Sharon pants in distress, Adam walks - 'screw you' (but puts his hands up when a volley of warning shots are fired). Nice to know you still care, Adam snarls at a terrified Sharon (who looks ready to faint).

Jill gets to page 2 - Oh my God - it's true - we share the same father - we're sisters! Lauren looks constipated - can I see that? Jill knows it's a shock - they can take their sistership slow. She just wants to get to know Lauren's family blah blah blah. Wait just a minute - 'this doesn't suddenly change everything', Lauren replies.

On the stand, Nikki's questioned by the DA (who leads her to discuss Adam's cabin kidnapping 'intervention' - and debunk her claims that they only wanted to help Adam. Nikki's forced to admit that Nick and Adam basically hated one another. She left Kay (who's like a mother to her) in 'crisis' because she was afraid her son would Kill Adam! Mike's on his feet - objection! No further questions. Under Mike's questioning, Nikki testifies that Adam wasn't restrained in any way - and her BFF Kay wasn't upset that Nikki left her. Yes, rallying around one another is what the Newman's do - the intervention was difficult - but the right thing to do. Adam was free to leave at any time - which is what he eventually did. As Nikki steps down, Phyllis squirms, clearly worried.

In the helicopter, Adam's scowling beside Sharon (who asks about Skye as she buckles up). Victor got what he wanted from her - he doesn't care. Sharon's fine sitting beside Adam - this way, she doesn't have to look at him (though both glare at Adam when he calls out 'Home James' to the pilot).

Business as usual (while Jill's still mooning over the results), Lauren's really gotta get to the courthouse. There's nothing really TO talk about - she's still Lauren Fenmore - Jill's still a Foster; Snapper and Greg's sister. No! Doesn't Lauren get it? Jill's never had a blood bond before - with ANYONE. Well, Lauren HAS (and Jill's not included in the list of people she's 'connected to'). THEY'RE Lauren's family. Jill? She's just someone Lauren knows - not part of her life (and sure as hell not her sister by the sounds of it). Jill wants something Lauren can't give her. Hurt but determined, Jill insists that like it or not, the results change everything between them.

Back at the Abbott mansion, Jamie wants to be left out of it (that nutbar's behind bars). Emily knows he's using. So what? She never cared about her junkie brother before. Emily always cared - Jamie must 'own it' (or it'll never get fixed'). Hurling an object that sends framed photos shattering to the ground, Jamie doesn't want her to 'shrink' him. As Paul hovers, Emily offers to just be a sister. She's in trouble with the DA - and needs Jamie's help.

The trial in recess, Jack slips in to reassure a nervous Phyllis (who's then coached by Mike - be polite - Yes/No answers). Putting a stop to Mike and Jack's bickering, Phyllis is not a woman who needs coaching or coddling (unlike you know who). Just let me do what I have to do. Once court's back in session, Owen calls Phyllis to testify. Hand on the Bible, she swears to tell the truth.

Voices now raised, Jamie claims he did nothing wrong - Emily's the one who hooked up with her crazy patient's ex husband. Don't go there - Jack and I fell in love, Emily warns. Jamie won't take the fall to get HER off the hook. Guess what - she's the screw up this time. No - she's not, Paul walks in arms folded. You wanna blame someone, blame ME.

Sharon and Adam steal glances at one another during the helicopter ride home. Reading a text, Victor informs that Nikki and Phyllis are testifying for the prosecution. Pomerance is no match for Baldwin. No - he's not giving the DA a heads up (or the chance to use his ill begotten son against Nick). Yup - he's just gonna show up with Adam. Pomerance won't know what hit him. Adam scoffs at the idea that he'll just give everything up - to save Victor's favourite boy.

On the stand, Phyllis admits Nick has a pen that looks like the one Owen's waving around in the baggie - but she never saw it after Nick signed her cast. Owen gets to the night of the ball. Of course Nick may have been 'out of her site' - Phyllis is his wife - not his stalker. Yes, she knows where Nick was - checking on his ex wife. The mother of his illegitimate daughter, Owen throws in (Objection! Sustained). What happened after Nick went to check on the 'other Mrs Newman'? Sharon ran in screaming that Nick had surprised Adam. Yes, he went to the basement - but so did a half dozen other people. Owen makes his next point - Phyllis mistook Hightower for Adam in a well lit room - couldn't Nick have made the same mistake? Over Mike's objections, Phyllis keeps talking - now imploring the jury - my husband is innocent! He did NOT kill anybody!

As Jamie helps himself to some water, Paul steps in - if anyone, HE should have figured it out. Had he listened - run the DNA test (as Emily begged him to do), she'd have been released (and Jamie wouldn't be in this mess). With another sarcastic remark from Jamie, Paul doesn't get why he's building a wall. HIS sister's gone - she's lost to him - forever. What Paul wouldn't give to have a whole, healthy sister who's reaching out to him. Jamie would be a fool to let that slip away. Please Jamie, Emily tries once again - she'll get him the best lawyer (and the help he needs). Jamie softens - he's scared. Emily too - but promises to take care of him. All choked up, Paul can't watch the siblings hug.

Oh, you're still here, Lauren rejoins Jill (who talks about how many times she passed by this building - never knowing she was a Fenmore). She knows this isn't easy for Lauren - but Jill missed out on having a father and a sister - but can't they NOW do what sisters do? She doesn't know what that is either - dinner? Still unenthused, Lauren needs time to let it sink in. Take all the time you need, Jill follows her out. Good bye Jill, Lauren clip clops off.

Scolded by the Judge, Phyllis apologizes for her 'outburst' (that won't be tolerated). Owen continues with the days following the murder - recognize this? Did Phyllis have anything to do with it being found in a dumpster? Reminded that she's under oath, Phyllis squirms. Yes, she told Sharon to get rid of it - but NOT because she thought Nick killed Adam (but, because the police would). As Owen badgers (it doesn't make sense), Phyllis sticks by her story. As Nick gets to his feet (leave her alone!), Mike sits him down. No further questions (it's clear to all that the DA's scored some points).

Over tea, Paul wonders if Jamie will go through with turning himself in. Emily thinks so - he's not a bad guy (just made some bad choices). That's how Paul feels about Patty. Emily knows he loves and misses Patty (who must miss him too). Paul must forgive himself - she has (especially if they're all to live in GC). Yes, she's staying - having met some wonderful people, including Paul (who grins with delight).

Mike has no questions for Phyllis right now (so she returns to her seat beside Jack). After the DA rests his case, the Judge calls a recess. Following that, he'll hear Baldwin's first witness. As all file out, Phyllis apologizes profusely. Nick and Mike think she did fine - don't beat yourself up. Aside, Mike tells Nikki that it'd be going better if Victor showed up with Adam - but it's getting a bit late for that now.

Somewhere in the air between Brazil and GC, Adam starts messing with Victor and Sharon - miss me? He was out of their lives - and now, here they are - dragging him back to GC. IS this a big victory? I'm back in your homes - your heads. Makes ya wonder - who's the real winner here? Sharon casts a look of doubt at Victor (who still looks confident). Meanwhile, on a beach, Skye opens the bag - grinning at all the money it holds.

Back in the courtroom, Nick passes his love to Summer and Faith (before being returned to his cell). Now alone, Phyllis snarls at Mike, her friend - for lying to her (that it's going well). In the hallway, Phyllis admits to Jack that she's not fine - she's angry, frustrated - DONE! ~hug~ Everything's gonna be OK, Jack consoles.

Still in the courtroom, Mike's joined by Lauren - who informs that it's true - Jill's her sister. Meanwhile, an emotional Jill's lingering outside the boutique - then calls to hire an attorney (regarding her family's estate - and what her rights are).

Next: Sounding like an innocent child, Patty talks to the visiting Paul - Adam said that if I told anyone what he was up to he was gonna ruin my life ... I'm begging you - tell the truth, Sharon appeals to Adam. You want me to sacrifice myself to save Nick, Adam asks rhetorically .. Nikki's at the tackhouse - are you thinking of leaving him? Phyllis looks conflicted.

My Thoughts: Oh look - the media's at the courthouse - they've been waiting for Nikki to arrive (or Abby's downstairs paying parking tickets) Too bad they didn't wait til AFTER the trial wrapped up for the day - to catch Mrs Newman's melt down. Stick a fork in Phyllis - finally - she is 'DONE' ... OK - I've never been on a helicopter - but I've seen them on the Bachelorette - so know you have to at least raise your voice (if not scream) - into the mic - to be heard by the person sitting next to you. If the helicopter the Newman's are in is soundproofed, why are they wearing communication headsets? ... Sharon says she doesn't want to look at Adam - then does just that - cause he's so damn funny. Ha ha - he made ya look ...Adam could only have made himself more annoying had he been asking 'are we there yet' every 30 seconds - or 'pull my finger' ..... Aren't witnesses usually called in from sequestered rooms - not the hearing's gallery (where they're hearing the testimony of all the other witnesses)? Phyllis may have sworn to tell the truth - but you can almost hear the trickle of sweat drip down her back. Both she and Nikki lied under oath. Nikki's 'worry' for Adam is a blatant lie - and it did SO cross Phyllis' mind that Nick murdered Adam (however briefly) ... I haven't done anything, Jamie wails. And neither Paul nor Emily are 'blaming him for anything' to do with 'this mess' he's now in. Um - selling phony prescriptions - feeding the drug habits of addicts - which in turn destroys families - I wouldn't exactly say Jamie's done 'nothing wrong' .... Emily's gonna stay in GC? That's too bad - since the actress' contract hasn't been renewed, one has to wonder how they plan to get rid of the two characters (that have been played so well - if not played out). Judging by the way Emily was gazing at Paul - while hugging her brother, Emily may be interested in the hapless PI. Emily's staying in GC partly because of Jack's wonderful family? Huh? She barely knows the Abbott's. Even Ashley - Patty's Matron of Honour, hasn't been in contact since Emily's release after months locked up in a psych. ward (which you'd think would give the almost sisters in law something in common to talk about). Both Ashley and Billy have been far too busy having sex in Japan to bother with Dr Peterson... Mike's work never comes before Lauren? Funny, cause I've heard her screech at him a few times that it has .... Ah ha! And I was disappointed to learn that Jill and Lauren would prove to be sisters - thinking there'd be no drama. What an interesting twist. Jill seemed so sincere in her heartfelt desire to be Lauren's sister. Is Jill's plan to fight for her share of the Fenmore Dynasty due to the pain of once again being snubbed? Or - is it always about the money for Jill? ..... Poor Paul - he's never gonna be able to laugh with his sister - about the stupid things they did as kids (cause he's never done any 'stupid things' as an adult) - gripe about their parents (Mr and Mrs All American Williams) - neither of which have so much as picked up the phone, never mind flown in, during any of their only overprotected daughter's mental and legal crisis?). But really - is having a sibling so great? Hell no (if you ask Kevin) ... Getting Phyllis to testify - to what he already knows (that Sharon was the one who dumped Nick's bloody jacket) - WHY didn't Owen subpoena 'the other Mrs Newman'? Wouldn't he strengthen his case by having TWO women breaking the law to protect the man they thought killed Adam?
