Victor's summoned Mike to the club - wanting to put a stop to the suffering of Nick's family. It's not enough that Patty and Adam have replaced him as suspects. Victor wants all Nick's charges dropped - tonight.

At the tackhouse, Phyllis is back from chaperoning Summer's camp field trip (to the zoo). And when Daniel talks of Nick's release, Phyllis covers - he was released from customs (at the airport). Where's Daddy? Where do you think? Phyllis gripes to Daniel (note in hand).

Meanwhile, at the penthouse, Sharon films Faith on Nick's knee. He's happy he'll be around to see her start walking. So are we, Sharon agrees solemnly.

Abby calls Billy at RS - with something to add to her article. Too late - it goes to print tonight. As Abby prattles on about manatee's, Billy hangs up - gotta go! Dropping by, Rafe finally gets a word in to correct Billy (who thinks he's getting Adam's exclusive). Alas, Rafe did NOT take the case (and told Adam to go to hell).

Chance checks the apartment - then gives Heather the nod to come in. Angered by a phone call, Chance updates Heather that Ellis is being transferred to the Club Med prison - looks like someone doesn't want them interviewing him again (which leads Chance to gripe about Rogan). Whining some more about his new partner, Chance decides to go to the prison - to talk to Frank - without Rogan. Heather will be the only person who knows where he is. Unable to hear anything by pressing her ear to the door, Chloe pulls a glass out of her purse. There's better ways to eavesdrop, Rogan startles Chloe - and how will her fiance feel about her spying? He won't know - you're not gonna tell him, Chloe answers.

Stop the kids stuff, Rogan says - wire tap them. I'd hate to be your girlfriend, Chloe states. That'll never happen, Rogan replies. When Chance lets them in, Heather and Rogan are reminded that Chloe is Chance's fiance - as she initiates kisses, talk of Delia - and their wedding (which Chance wants to do free falling from an airplane). We'll talk later, Chloe needs to get to RS.

What? Rafe's not taking Adam's case? Billy moans about his problems. Why are you doing this to me? It's not about YOU, Rafe complains that Billy's using him. We WERE friends - you're an ass! Rafe marches out. Left to eye the photo of Sharon, Billy has a feeling he'll be hearing a lot of that soon.

Having put Faith down for a nap, Sharon assures that Nick just needs time to bond with her - instead of popping in and out of her life. Nick then pries until Sharon confesses she heard of his release from Adam (whom she'd rather not talk about). She's not to see Adam? Is that an order? Sharon will make her own decisions thanks very much - and Nick's to stop undermining her. Is she that weak? That she'd get sucked in (by Adam) again? Told to go home to his OWN wife - his OTHER family, Nick looks hurt - and can only blink.

Back at the tackhouse, Daniel avoids discussion on his life - what's up with you Mom? Nick's free - but she doesn't seem happy. Daniel likes Nick 'n all - but why is he at Sharon's? He's spending time with his other daughter. It is what it is - but Phyllis agrees - she and Summer shouldn't come in second. Well, they're always welcome to come and stay with Daniel.

You hung up on me, Abby arrives at RS whining. This is important - she doesn't want to come off as frivolous - and must brand herself. You got the cover, Billy's fists are clenched - what more can she want? To see the cover. No? What are you hiding from me?

At CL's, Sharon and Rafe discuss visiting Adam. Hearing of Billy's' bid to sell Rafe's services for Adam's exclusive, Sharon's impressed that he refused - good for you. Rafe's sure Billy found another way - hey - she left with Billy .... You don't think he'd 'dare'? Rafe scoffs - how much did you tell him? Sharon puts on her thinking face.

Still at the club, Victor shares his plan to bring the Governor and State's Attorney General into 'this mess'. Pomernace is dragging his heels. He'll hold a press conference - publicly accuse the DA regarding his vendetta. We all know Nick didn't kill Hightower - Owen will only respect a display of power - so, let's give him one.

Seeing Phyllis check the phone (no messages), Daniel suggests she call Nick. Phyllis declines. She loves Nick (whom she'll stay with until the charges are dropped). And after? Saved from answering, Phyllis welcomes Nick home with a hug/kiss. Both Daniel and Phyllis watch on as Summer launches herself into Daddy's arms. Oh how he missed her.

Daniel declines Nick's dinner invite - and leaves. When Summer chides Daddy for not being home, Nick promises no more business trips - he's never leaving her again ~hug~ (as a troubled Phyllis forces a smile).

Still at CL's, Rafe informs Sharon that Billy only cares about selling magazines. But - Sharon spoke to him in confidence. Good luck with that. Billy charms people. Sharon's now in agreement- obviously Billy doesn't care who he hurts.

Abby continues to follow Billy around RS. What does she want? Final say? No way! Abby forces a flash drive at him - pictures of her coming out of the bubbles at Kay's. No thanks - Billy's seen those online. Abby's also trying to launch a one word catch phrase - which one describes her better ?-Abtastic or Abspiring. Absurd, Billy snaps - now, MOVE. Finally getting rid of Abby, Billy calls to summon Chloe to work - right now - I need you ....

Billy's tripping out, Chloe needs to go. Leaving so soon? Heather snipes. Just talking about our wedding details, is Chloe's response. She'll be by later - isn't it so convenient that they live so close? Now that 'that's' over with, Rogan wants to talk - about how they don't like how he's handling things. He's got the message - but is on the case to get results. It's not HIS fault their informant is being transferred. Rogan then gets a call - he what? Ellis just escaped custody - while being transferred. Dammit! Chance is furious. Somebody's going down for this, he aims his finger at Rogan.

Mike accosts Owen at the courthouse - listen to what I have to say. Already having a bad day, Owen's warned it's about to get much, much worse.

Having sent Summer off on her play date, Nick looks forward to time alone with his wife (but knows she was upset that he went to see Faith). Summer was upset, Phyllis claims to 'totally' understand. Dropping by, Victor boasts that he's set something in motion - to make sure 'this' never happens again.

You'll be hearing all about this when Victor holds his press conference, Mike informs. He's bringing the Attorney General into this? Owen huffs. And the Governor's office. The new evidence points another way - as one litigator to another, Mike thinks ego is interfering with Owen's principle's. Whatever happens from her, you brought on yourself, Mike concludes.

Chloe finds Billy frantically making changes to the cover shot and story (as there's no Adam interview). Chloe thinks it a bit late - we go to print tonight. Billy's day gets even worse when Chloe announces she moved out of the mausoleum. OUR daughter is with Ester - she'll be moving in with Chloe in a few days. Billy flips upon hearing that his daughter will be living with the Chipmunk - because Chance and Heather are across the hall. This is crazy. Chloe denies she's putting Delia in danger - there's more cops there than at Doggy's Donut Shack. Too bad if Billy doesn't approve - and isn't done with this (Chloe is).

Heather and Rogan's calls provide little info on Frank's escape. That's the second time someone willing to talk disappear - our suspects are cops. Rogan suspects he'll end up dead - like Riggs. Rogan refuses to cover so Chance can go investigate. No - Rogan will go - they don't need Chance messing anything else up. In the hallway, Rogan makes a call - Chance is all worked up - he won't go along with the program.

Victor sits Nick and Phyllis down to say he's gone to the Governor and Attorney General. Owen hates the family - so refuses to release him. Nick's not sure it's a good idea. Victor cares not - he'll make sure that he's cleared of all charges.

Owen doesn't respond well to threats. Mike's making none - simply giving facts (which he does so - Adam's recording - Patty's confession). Nick didn't commit the crime. What if Owen prosecutes (and loses) this high profile case? His career could be over.

Who's at Daniel's door? America's hottest new cover model. Abby bubbles in with a bottle of bubbly - to thank him for posing, she'll let him paint her naked. It's a great career opportunity - why be a starving artist? Don't worry about Victor. Fine - Abby's happy anyway - help me celebrate my cover? Wearing his usual 'I'm only tolerating you' look, Daniel twists the cap off.

On the phone, Billy grovels to the printer - then announces to all that it's over - time to go home for the night. Chloe's left to warn of the fallout when Abby sees her cover shot. No way Billy could have his niece simulating nudity on his magazine - Ashley would kill him (though Abby might). And she's more worried about the Newman's. Billy prattles on about the story being true - it wrote itself - a classic Cane and Abel. Oops - and here's the 'woman caught in the middle'. Sharon's heard it all - and I'm that woman?

At the apartment, Chance is waiting not so patiently with Heather. Screw Rogan, Chance snarls - we'll have to move fast - don't discuss it with anyone but the DA. We need to catch everyone off guard - find someone to talk (about the dirty cops selling drugs). Meanwhile, Rogan listens to it all - seems the apartment's wire tapped after all.

Daniel pours - then clinks Abby's glass. How much does Daniel pay for this 'cozy' place? Why not live in his Mom's penthouse? Daniel doesn't run to his parents. Neither will Abby - the Naked Heiress IS her job - and he'll be considered cool for posing with her. To my new fame and fabulousity - thanks to RS, Abby raises her glass.

Distressed to hear the magazine's already gone to print, Sharon reams Billy for publishing what she told him in confidence. Billy may not have quoted Sharon - but she used her (in a sympathetic light or not). You're no better than Adam ~slap~ As Sharon clip clops out, a laughing Chloe does her happy dance. Yes! I never get tired of seeing that. Wonder how Vikki will react - to Billy attacking the Newman family yet again. Billy printed the truth - we done good. And look at this - he shows Chloe the cover shot. It's a head shot of Abby and Daniel - the headline? 'OMG My two brother's are jailbirds - and I'm naked.

Mike arrives to say Pomerance is issuing a press release - stating the DA's office is dropping all charges against Nick (who looks forward to getting on with his life). It ain't enough for Victor - he wants the DA to apologize. Nick doesn't care - but Victor thinks it important - the world must know that Nick's parents - and Phyllis, supports him. A happy Nick pulls Phyllis into his arms (unaware that she's not exactly thrilled).

Next: At CL's, Abby's snarling at Nikki (but her eyes are still on her copy of RS) Are you lecturing me on being naked? Isn't that how everyone met you here? ... Consider yourself dumped - you can put THAT in your stupid little magazine, Vikki growls at Billy.... No more what? Nick looks baffled. No more us, Phyllis replies.

My Thoughts: Kevin's building is like a 'fortress'? Odd - cause Daisy seemed to have no problem coming and going - sneaking in and out of the Baldwin's Great idea Daniel - I'm sure Phyllis and Summer would just LOVE sharing your 'cozy' studio apartment .... I can think of better words to describe Abby Carlton; Ab@sshole ... Abwhore .. Ablivious ... Abnormal ... She's her own biggest (and only) fan. Why wasn't Kent filming her photo shoot? What talent does Abby have - aside from shedding her clothes at the drop of a hat? Why not go live at a nudist colony? ... Looks like Phyllis has finally had enough - but is she willing to seperate Summer from the Daddy she adores? With Summer heading off to camp and play dates every day, has everyone she comes into contact with been warned not to say anything about Daddy being in jail? Has access to Internet, TV and newspaper been forbidden? ... Just Rogan stating that Chloe will never be his girlfriend is a good indication that it's exactly what'll happen - leaving Chance with the even more boring Heather *yawn*. Really Chloe - does that glass against the wall trick really work? Does she not know her new roomie is a pro at hidden surveillance? .... Good to hear that GC actually has a zoo - not just an abandoned one ... Why does Daniel find it hard to believe that Phyllis would chaperone a camp field trip? Sure - she was no mother to him - but she's been a fine mother to Summer .... Why on earth would Sharon assume that anything she said to Billy would be held in 'confidence'? Does she not know he owns RS? Did Billy include any one liners - any innuendo that it's not the first time Sharon's bounced between two brothers (as the publisher very well knows) ... Wonder if this Abby steals alcohol from Dad and Mom - just like the old (young) Abby did.
