At the club (before heading to Ryder's trial), Lauren gripes about Jill's grave site stunt (though both she and Mike wish she'd handled it differently). Snapping at some gawking diners, Mike informs that if anyone has grounds for a restraining order, it's Jill.

Going through some boxes from the attic, Kay pauses to scold Jill (having seen her 'stunt' on the morning news). I could have broken my neck, Jill wails. Also mentioning the altercation, Tucker calls to summon Jill to the club - she's the one person who can help him out of the 'pickle' he's in.

At CL's, Billy and Delia find Vikki and Reed setting up a lemonade stand - in benefit of Reed's pal (who's house was flooded in the storm). Wanna help? Reed chirps. What a great idea - let's sell some lemonade, Billy agrees.

At JT's place, Mac and JT both have something to discuss. Mac first - oh, how patient JT's been with his hormonal girlfriend. She has a hole she needs to fill (by volunteering - in Haiti or Sudan). What timing - JT was just gonna ask Mac to move in with him.

Chloe and the anxious Kevin are dressed for court. How could Jana bail that guy out - then run away with him? If Ryder doesn't show up, Kevin will lose both his wife and business to the brother he desperately wanted in his life.

Cars whiz past the hitch-hiking Jana and Ryder (who's not eager to return to GC for his trial). Jana won't let him back out now - for Kevin's sake.

Kay has a few more words of warning for Jill - make amends with Lauren (the only genetic link to her family; which is more important than money). Spoken like a true billionaire, Jill scoffs (as she walks out).

Joining the Baldwin's, Glo's clearly delighted by Lauren shoving Jill into an open grave. She and Jeff are all abuzz about opening their club 'Glowworm' (she's the Glo - Jeff's the worm). While Lauren can't wait to testify against Ryder the creep, Mike worries - Kevin's in for a traumatic day.

Jacket on, Kevin's gut tells him he's gonna get screwed - people suck. Chloe has to agree. Chance is a fool - cheating on a girl like Chloe (who's off to court to support the friend who's supported HER).

Roadside, Jana's still lecturing Ryder (having promised Kevin she'd get him to court). Jana plans to testify on Ryder's behalf - he's NOTHING like Sarah and Daisy. The jury WILL see the good in him (as Jana does). She's clearly torn - but even Ryder's kisses and (unreturned) declarations of love can't persuade her to bail out on the trial, the state - and Kevin.

Thanks to Billy's 'aggressive marketing', Reed's lemonade stand has earned $8.50. Ok - so maybe a coupla dollars fell outta Billy's pocket.

How can JT build a life with Mac if she's half way around the world? He (and Reed) love and need her. Mac 'cares' about them too - but had no idea he wanted to get so serious. 'Running away' won't solve her problems. Plus, her family and friends (not to mention JT himself) are HERE.

With Ryder's case up next, all hope that Jana can get Ryder there. Come through for me Jana, Kevin mutters into his phone. Meanwhile, Jana's still trying to persuade Ryder (who continues to refuse). Though not impressed with Ryder's stealing, Jana continues to plead. It's NOT too late! They can call the courthouse with that disposable phone - please!

Vikki's cradling Delia, Billy's entertaining Reed - as Mac and JT saunter over.

Seated at the club, Jill flirts with Tucker (who's just looking for information). How dull, Jill pouts. Updated that Billy was in Japan with Vikki, Jill reminds that she was dealing with her mother's death at the time. She'll do what she can (to get info from Billy) - for 'old times sake' (but needs something in return).

Back at CL's, Reed runs into Daddy's arms (as Mac babbles about what a wonderful thing he's doing). The kids were SO cute - Billy will send Mac the photos. When JT wonders how Billy and Delia got involved, Vikki explains it was Reed's idea. He's quite an entrepreneur, Billy praises (then bids Reed farewell as he heads back to RS). Aside, JT claims he doesn't have a problem with Vikki and Abbott 'doing stuff' with the kids - is it 'serious'? (and nods thoughtfully when she claims they're taking it one step at a time).

Tucker assumes Jill wants a pretty big favour (to coax info from her son). Could it have to do with her lawsuit against Lauren? Jill wants a strong case - if there were promises made - letters - perhaps Neil looked for her. Tucker can relate to the unanswered questions (that only adopted out kids could understand). Tucker offers the PI he has on retainer - no charge. BUT - Jill's gotta come through first. Deal - they shake hands.

Mike reports that the absent Ryder's now forfeited bail - he's a fugitive again. Chloe blames Jana (who doesn't deserve Kevin). While Lauren blames Jana's surgery, it suddenly hits Kevin that she's really gone.

At RS, Billy deals with some problem with photos, Jill arrives to apologize for dropping the ball lately. Yes - Billy DID see the 'catfight' (and suggests she give Lauren a break). Now ready to work, Jill does indeed have an idea for the next cover story - The Newman's hold on the Japanese market. It's a dead end. Yes, Billy's sure - drop it - promise me.

Taking another break from sorting through rain damaged boxes, Kay suggests Tucker's not there for 'face time' with CI's co-owner (and he didn't need to deliver a contract in person). There's nothing wrong with a son wanting to see his mother.

Back at CL's, everyone grabs a coffee (get em while you can, Kevin grumbles). Glo's money's tied up in new club - but she has things on the horizon for Kevin (when it starts to pay off). The Baldwin's are willing to chip in too. Nope - Kevin won't take charity. It's his own fault (they DID all warn him about Ryder). Arriving in time to listen in, Mac (with JT) thinks she has a solution for Kevin's problem.

Mac wants to buy back into CL's - she'll pay off the loan and split the profits 60/40 (in favour of her). In time Kevin can buy it back. Lauren thinks it a fair offer, Chloe declares it a kick ass idea. Kevin accepts ~hug~

Kay comes across a lovely 'lace runner' (made by Liz Foster). Tucker offers condolences on the loss of her old friend (which inspires Kay to start talking.. and talking). Kay can't help but 'look out after' Jill - and she'd like to look out after her son too - if he'd let her.

Jill swears she won't write an article about Newman - or Japan - or Tucker. No Tweeting or blogging, Billy adds (as he leaves Jill to sigh - can I really do this to you Billy? Will he forgive me? Of course he will). Seated at Billy's laptop, Jill easily guesses his password; Victoria. Now, what was Billy looking at while in Japan? Hmmm - an antique pistol - worth 2/4 of a million? Bingo!

Mac to the rescue, Mike crows (after she and JT are gone). Yup - she sure saved the day (so Chloe won't comment on her outfit). Only you... OK, maybe me, Lauren chuckles. Kevin's quite (feeling he shouldn't have been put in this position). Jana! NOW he shows up, Glo sneers. Aside, Jana tells Kevin that Ryder wouldn't come back - she's so sorry for not realizing what he was like - and hurting Kevin. Is there anything she can do? Yeah - get out - NOW! Alone on the patio, Jana bursts into tears - muttering apologies. Kevin returns to his supporters - to hell with Ryder - tell hell with HER.

Roadside, Ryder's on the phone with Daisy - Jana left me - I'm on my way.

Back home, JT's delighted with Mac's change of heart. Rehashing the day, Mac talks of helping the people who need her (in GC). The universe is giving her so many reasons to stay. Oh - and she loves JT ~kiss~

At RS, Vikki chides Billy for not taking her call. No, JT didn't give her a hard time (surprisingly). It was kinda weird getting the kids together - a picture of suburban family living (soooo not us).

When Jill arrives at CL's, Lauren hopes she learned her lesson (that every time she tries to one up her, she'll get smacked down). Yes - Lauren does consider it a victory. We'll see who gets smacked down - in court, Jill threatens. A still smiling, Lauren's gotta go - spend time with her REAL family. Chuckling to herself, Jill pulls out her phone.

Drinking tea from a dainty china cup, Tucker amuses Kay with his extended pinkie. He then gets a call - from 'Jill Abbott Fenmore'. She has something for him - a link - let me know how it all works out. Tucker definitely will.

Next: Kevin's cold (Jana's weepy). You don't have any feelings - remember? Especially not for me - you made THAT clear .... At her new club (with Jeffrey) Glo looks horrified. There won't be a grand opening - unless you pass the inspection, she's told .... Mike's glued to Sharon. Skye glares at her (as Adam wonders - is there a man in GC who DOESN'T try to protect you?)

My Thoughts: Line of the day goes to Jill (just for calling Lauren a bitch on wheels) - oh, the irony... Jill took a 'pass' on seducing Victor for information? Perhaps because she knew she'd just be humiliated - told to kindly show herself out (and have a nice day - ya got that?) ... Amazing how quickly Jill gained access into Billy's password protected computer - and was able to guess how an antique pistol figured into the equation (what I don't get - is why Jill's not in a wheelchair trying to sue Lauren for the other half)... Isn't Mike supposed to be helping Paul investigate Meggie? .... Chloe's dressed nicely (for a wedding) ... No wonder Kevin's coffee shop isn't turning a profit - allowing rich folk to sell lemonade on the premises - plus free coffees for the Baldwin's and Bardwell's (a couple who worked for their wealth - and an even wealthier couple who didn't) .... Mac wants to buy BACK into CL's? When did she ever buy OUT? And what will she do with Jimmy's? ... With Mac taking over half of CL's - and Jana (if she gets a good divorce lawyer) taking half of what Kevin owns, he'll be left with only a quarter of his assets. But yet again I ask - why is he broke? He's the IT department head at CI - he's a motivational speaker with key chains bearing his fuzzy alter ego .. And if Kevin doesn't want to accept charity, why is he letting the one person who's been blathering on about volunteering all day - help him out? .. Mac ran the rec center for Victor? Oh yeah - that place must be as abandoned as that amusement park. But wasn't VICTOR supposed to run it (as a condition of his parole or sumthin'?) Now we know he just wrote the check ... Mike worries about Kevin having an extremely traumatic day? Puh-lease. Facing his wife and brother in court (or not) is hardly more traumatic than being locked in a closet - eating only chocolate bars slid under the door for days on end (or any of the OTHER traumatic events in Kevin's life) ... If Chloe wants to 'support' her pal, why didn't SHE ask Kay for the money (or use a coupla months of Billy's child support money) ... Delia sure has grown (grown like a cute fungus on Billy's chest). Looks like the kid just got over an 'I don't' wanna be an actress' hissy fit ...... Somebody will stop, Ryder assures (cause who wouldn't for a murderess and petty thief) ... Duh JT - unless Haiti and Sudan have become US states, YES, Mac's talking about leaving the country ... Jana and Ryder's backpacks still look they just came off the camping store shelf - remarkable considering they've been 'roughing it for over a week' They must be staying at a camping site with a salon and dry cleaning service ... Yeah, yeah - Jana promised Kevin that they'd be there for Ryder's trial - just like she promised to forsake all others until death do us part (nice that she's wearing her wedding ring - while kissing her husband's brother).
