A mopey Jack and Emily realize they can't recreate the past - and wonder if they even HAVE a future.

Showing up (unannounced) to read Summer a bedtime story, Nick's told she's not home - that's why he shoulda called (she's with Reed). Phyllis is packing - they're 'taking off for a while'.

In the alley, Victor convinces Vikki that Billy's been using and spying on her - how else would Tucker and Ashley have known about the gun? When Billy comes out, Victor claims Vikki doesn't want to speak to him - get outta here.

Inside Glow Worm, Adam decides to leave Ashley alone - but wait, she has something to say to him (as Tucker and Sharon watch on).

Back outside, Victor accuses Billy of using Vikki (who shrieks 'stay away from me' - then marches inside). What the hell did you say to her? Billy's left to wonder. You spied on her! Victor bellows. Wow - a baffled Billy follows Vikki inside.

Meanwhile, Jana's inside Glow Worm - whining to Kevin about how overwhelmed she was. We can still love each other - we're the same people. Kevin disagrees - the Jana he knows wouldn't have slept with his brother (and gambled the coffee house on him). How insensitive can you get? Never mind - he already knows (and marches off).

Adam's OK with Ashley's 'real or imagined' accusations - but weren't they good friends once? Ashley can't believe that Adam can forget what he's done - that her baby wasn't dead - that Sharon didn't grieve the loss of hers - that he didn't leave Hightower's son an orphan. You're sick! Skye comes along - does he have her fooled? Ash wonders - or is she just like 'him'? Sad, Skye thinks - some people are just born victims. And some are born predators, Ash snarls through her tears (leaving Adam to sniffle back his own).

Phyllis won't be gone long - maybe a week. And when was Nick gonna hear about it? So Victor Newman, Phyllis snorts - it's none of Nick's business. Nick then talks of her making out with some punk - so he'd see it. Oh - you were there? No, Phyllis didn't waste time going back to her 'old ways' - but she DID waste time being married to HIM. Nick doesn't want Summer around that loser Deacon - what the hell was she thinking? That he was hot - and there - just like when Nick slept with Sharon. Who cares who got hurt, right? If it's good enough for Nick, it's good enough for Phyllis.

As Billy searches for Vikki, Tucker and Ashley discuss Victor (who's cage they've rattled). Let's take the evidence to the Feds. Nope - Ashley can't go along with it.

Joining Kevin, Chloe and Sharon, 'BeetleJill' would rather discuss Adam's trial (than the club). Despite Kevin's attempt, Jill continues to grill Sharon (who seems so 'comfortable' with Adam there).

At the bar, the Newman's are trying to get the Bardwell's to invest in their hedge fund when Victor mosey's over - for a word with his 'son'. Gonna buy me a drink Dad? Victor tells Adam to enjoy his last day of freedom. Adam has confidence in his lawyer. Breaks Victor's heart to say it - but nothing will save him from what he deserves (he'll see to it).

Back at the penthouse, Nick and Phyllis continue to bicker. Phyllis can't lose what she never HAD - Nick was never there for HER. Oh - she should be happy that he left his wife for her? Nick never saw Phyllis as a 'mistress'. She wanted the marriage MORE than he did - but not the half assed version Nick gave her. She got the sex - Sharon got everything else. You're not man enough for two women, Phyllis angrily whispers in his ear. Nick was trying to protect Sharon - the mother of his child. Part of the deal? 'Humiliation' wasn't in their wedding vows. Phyllis then talks of going to surprise her husband in Paris. Jealousy and paranoia? You really wanna go there? No way Phyllis will take the blame for Nick cheating (and isn't even sorry about it). Right or wrong, Nick can't regret having Faith.

Outside, Vikki accuses Billy of telling Tucker about the gun. WHY should she believe him? She's in serious trouble. I love you - I wouldn't do this, Billy swears. Yeah - look how far that's gotten us, Vikki hops in her car and speeds off.

Jack's taken down the tree - as therapy. Emily won't let him blame himself - we tried. She wanted a life with Jack (whom she was truly happy with - but can't fully trust). In tears, Emily just can't let go of all that's happened. She can't stay and pretend it's OK - they'd grow to resent one another. There won't be an 'us'. It won't be easy, but Emily must leave ~hug~

At CL's, Paulie's stunned to get a call from Patty (who fondles her crucifix as she vows to be a better person). Tell Mom I'm gonna make up for all the bad things I've done. Come home, Paul begs - Patty? Patty?

Emily hands over the house keys. Yes, she's leaving tonight. Paul arrives to relay his call from Patty (who claims she's fine). Only able to trace the call to South America, Paul offers to check the pool house security system. No need - Emily won't be staying there anymore (in fact, she's leaving GC).

Back at Glow Worm, Jana wants to know if Chloe's 'seeing' Kevin - cause she's still his wife. What's going on? Kevin ambles over. Your ex is marking her territory, Chloe grins. Jealousy? THAT'S the emotion your starting to feel? Kevin scoffs (the walks off). Still can't get the hint huh? Chloe sneers.

Ashley thinks it a mistake to go to the Feds - a criminal prosecution is s declaration of war (and Victor will make sure there's casualties on both sides). She's protecting Jabot. Report Victor and they part company.

Victor reminds Sharon what Adam's capable of - don't look for a shred of decency in that man. Sharon knows he's depraved - but sometimes hears the man she fell in love with. Then stop listening, Victor warns her not to get sucked back in.

Behind the bar, Jeff thinks Jill's praise is another feeble attempt to get into his pants. OMG, Jill laughs. What's so funny? Glo also cackles (upon hearing that Jill's trying to 'get into' Jeff's pants). 'Wormie's' smile fades when Jill threatens to turn her thumbs up upside down.

At their booth, Tucker appreciates the position Ashley's in - and is moved that she's putting herself on the line for her daughter. Perhaps he won't call in the Feds after all. Ashley's happy to hear it (and with a kiss, goes to check on Abby). Jill wastes no time swooping in to hope SHE had something to do with Victor's bad mood. Yes, Tucker DID use Jill's info - and won't let her down (by connecting her with his PI). Hmmm - Jill doesn't look convinced.

Nick left Supergirl a note - and will call to set up a time to say 'good bye' to her. For Summer's sake .... Let's keep our distance, Phyllis interrupts. Nick wants to be civil (as he's been through this). Phyllis then throws a fit over the beautiful and pure Sharon. Insecure? Jealous? YOU did this to me! (she points at her face - then buries her head). Heading for the door, Nick will talk to Phyllis when she's not acting crazy. YOU'RE crazy, you SOB! Get outta my house! Phyllis starts throwing things. Shaking his head, Nick leaves Phyllis panting.

Now at RS, Billy's leaving yet another message for Vikki (denying giving info to Tucker). When Jill arrives, he promptly fires her - knowing she's responsible.

Nick finds Vikki on the CL's patio - where's Billy? Unable to speak through her tears, Vikki cries on her brother's shoulders. Meanwhile, a troubled Phyllis goes to the open patio doors of the penthouse - looking as if she needs some air (or might jump).

Chloe and Kevin continue to yuk it up at Glow Worm. Watching them, Jana squeezes her glass so hard it shatters in her hand. Almost puzzled, she eyes her bloody palm.

Victor's still lecturing Sharon - tomorrow won't be easy. Sharon will go free if she doesn't testify all Adam confessed to. Be strong - he's dangerous. See you at the courthouse, Victor says in parting.

At another booth, Skye's had enough of Adam's obsession with Sharon. It almost got him killed - and might get him divorced. And if Skye goes, so does the money - and Vance. Forget Sharon.

Paul will take Emily's bags to her car - but first, thanks her for what she did for Patty. If you ever need anything ... ~hug~ Good luck. That leaves Jack to hand over a Christmas gift (an ice skate ornament) - which she leaves so Jack can remember her. He doesn't want to let her go. Emily loves Jack too much to stay ~hug~ And with on last longing stare, a weepy Emily leaves a devastated Jack.

In a South American bar, Patty's now a redhead - I'm all yours, she tells the guy with an accent she's having beers with. His name's so hard to pronounce - so she'll call him Jack (and he can call her Mary Jane). Giggling as the young man mauls her, Patty's short dress reveals the cat tattoo on her leg.

The Bardwell's have much to celebrate - Victor Newman was impressed and they'll get a good review in RS. But look - here's the cops looking for the manager. Why? To close the place down. Indecent exposure? That was no stripper? Glo objects. Jeff cackles - getting shut down our first night? Naked girls? Cops? We'll be notorious! Glo changes her tune - 'cheer's she tips her glass at the cops and drinks.

Sharon's in the alleyway when Adam just so happens to come out for some air. Without a word, he plants a passionate kiss on Sharon (who responds without hesitation).

Next: In prison garb, Chance asks two fellow inmates to hook him up with something ... Skye lambastes Adam - please don't tell me you're still holding out hope that she's coming back to you?! ... Nick browbeats Sharon - He let you think that your daughter was dead - are you gonna let him get away with that? (her back to Nick, it appears that's exactly what Sharon's contemplating)

My Thoughts: Why would Nick leave Summer a note? Why not just call her at JT's place? ... How on earth would Patty get to South America? Nuns don't need a passport? ... Jana feels she's entitled' to know what's going on between Kevin and Chloe? Cause she's still Kevin's wife? Yeah, right .... How is NOT prosecuting Victor protecting Jabot? And how is protecting Jabot protecting Ashley's daughter? What does Abby have to do with Jabot? It's not even owned by the Abbott's anymore .... Note how quickly Vikki goes from standing with Billy - to screeching her tires as she speeds off (she must have a 0-60 in 4 seconds sports car - and a drag strip racer's reaction time). But wait - hasn't she been drinking? .... LOL of the day goes to everyone who referred to Jill as 'BeetleJill' .... Also comical - Jeff's flirting with Skye .... If Victor disowned Adam, why does he publicly refer to him as his 'son'? ... Nice to see Adam cleanly shaven (somewhat) - but what's with his hair? It was neater after a night of climbing through AC vents ... Tucker tried to 'make eye contact' with Victor - but he 'wasn't having it'? Now THERE'S a scene I'd have liked to see - the two billionaires playing eye tag ... Classic Phyllis today (note the new hair colour and cut). Loved it - and she made some good points - up until the point where she lost it - maybe SHE'S the one who needs to get over Sharon (along with Nick - and Adam) It WAS foolish of Nick to say he cheated with Sharon because Phyllis 'pushed him away' ..... Victor makes it sound like the only evidence against Adam is his confession to Sharon (but won't Ashley's testimony be just as damaging? Along with anyone else who watched her raise Sharon's baby for months?) Or is Adam only being charged with Hightower's murder - the kidnapping of a baby has been forgotten? ..... Judging by Sharon's reaction to Adam's kiss, she HAS forgotten all he did to her .... Um - isn't Emily a psychiatrist? If she loves Jack oh so much, why wouldn't she suggest they at least try a marriage therapist? ... Given how much time Summer spends away from her parents, will she even notice that they aren't together anymore? ... If the penthouse has such great security (as Sharon recently mentioned), why was Nick able to access the penthouse unannounced? Isn't there a concierge to call up for authorization? ... Adam 'didn't expect' Ashley to 'be here'? Um - would anyone expect HIM to be at a club's opening (considering he's just been shot - is legally blind - and facing murder charges in the morning) ... Nice to see Sharon and Chloe chatting away like BFF's in the background (guess Chloe's forgiven her Matron of Honour for sleeping with her groom on the eve of their wedding) ... Why would Victor assume that Billy told Ashley and Tucker about the gun/bribe? Doesn't he know that Tucker's got the best PI in the country on retainer? .... If Jill's at the opening as a reporter for RS (as evident by the press tag she was the only one flashing) - why didn't she even TRY to listen in on Adam's conversation with Ashley? (or any of the other titillating chats). Did she not notice the tension between the Silver Chipmunk and his murderess wife? Did she not see the Naked Heiress stripping n' splashing? ... Good reaction time by the GCPD - showing up regarding Abby's indecent exposure while she's home working on her hangover (shouldn't they be arresting Abby?) If the Bardwell's are gonna be closed down, why wasn't the GCAC? (where Abby stripped down to nothing - on a horse!)
