A much calmer Phyllis welcomes Nick in - with a foam surf board. Too bad Daddy can't come - he's gotta work - but they WILL take a trip together later - just the two of us. I love you Daddy, Summer's sent off to pack (leaving Nick to say thanks and sorry). It wasn't all bad, they sadly agree. Phyllis' lawyer will call (Mike didn't want to take sides). Nick never imagined it'd end like this. *sniff* Phyllis never imagined it ending at all. Bye Phyllis - Bye Nick.

Vance (the 'pro') is at the suite with Skye and Adam (who flashes back to kissing Sharon). In her suite, a troubled Sharon's having the same flashback.

At CL's, Paul relays Patty's call to Chris (who agrees he was right to call the authorities - Patty IS a fugitive). He's a good guy in a bad situation. Paul's preordered Chris' favourites - of course he remembered. And didn't they both remember their anniversary last night. The kiss was nice - but they can't... Chris has a life in DC - and Paul's is here (with Nina). Enter Heather, Malloy and Meeks. All understand that 'Rambo's' working on the inside - and putting himself in even more danger. But how can they protect him? Meanwhile, Chance's fellow inmates pause their card game to eyeball their new roomie.

In the Day Room, Chance wastes not time trying to make friends (who recognize him - even without the badge) - and trying to buy some drugs. Can't they hook him up with something?

Hearing that Nina was unable to post bail for Chance, Paul wonders why she hasn't tried to reach him. Heather suggests they tell Chance the truth - he can keep his mouth shut. Malloy and Chris refuse - he's a rookie. Heather has another idea to get Chance out of jail (and will fill Meeks and Malloy in on the way). Calling Nina, Paul says he's having breakfast with Chris - how're you doing? Nina flashes back to their kiss - I'm fine - gotta go ~click~

Nick visits Sharon to show her the front page of the Society section. A picture of her and Adam (captioned 'Is All Forgiven?') isn't what the Judge needs to see the day of Adam's preliminary hearing, he frowns.

Vance will make the Newman's and Abbott's look like bitter and vindictive lairs - and the newspaper photo is perfect ammo to destroy Sharon's credibility. All done, Vance hopes there's no surprise witnesses that could hurt Adam's case - if so, say so now. Adam flashes back to confessing his entire plan to Sharon. So - there's nothing you need to tell me? Vance prods.

A relaxed Owen's at the club giving an interview - confident Adam will pay for his crimes. On his way out, Heather (Meeks and Malloy) ambush him (asking him to drop the charges). Owen can't do that - he'll never get elected. Malloy's not done yet - let's go see if his longshot pays off.

No - the inmates don't trust Chance (but spotting an army tattoo, things improve when he talks of his time in Iraq) Lose enough buddies and you need something to get through. Look guys - one soldier to another - hook me up here. The guy with the army tattoo will see what he can do.

What are you doing here? Paul and Chris thought Nina might need her friends. Yeah, well she didn't need to see her 'friends' kissing outside Glowworm last night. Paul and Chris look suitably busted.

As Vance is about to leave, Adam stands to admit he left something out - his confession to Sharon. Skye's stunned - WHY? And why wait til now to mention it? Adam snaps at Skye - she'll never understand what he and Sharon had. Skye scoffs - is Adam still holding out hope that Sharon will come back to him.

Nick worries what the Judge and Jury will think of the photo - it's no coincidence it was published today. Sharon's tired of 'being careful'. No - Nick DOESN'T know how hard it is - it just won't go away. She CAN'T testify against Adam. In a bid to convince her, Nick lists off the people he's hurt - think of Faith! You're gonna let him get away with that!? He let me get away with shooting him, Sharon just can't crucify Adam on the stand. Nick's disappointed that Adam's still able to 'work' her.

Paul apologizes - we never meant to hurt you. Correcting Nina's assumption that they spent the night together, both alternate explaining how their reminiscing and hug lead to a kiss they regretted as soon as it occurred. We said good night and went home - separately. What we had is over - the kiss was a good bye - that's all. Tears in her eyes, Nina looks like she really, really wants to believe them.

Chance has nothing to say to his visitors (Meeks, Malloy and Heather) - and doesn't want any favours (like being segregated from the general population). Chance marching away from the frustrated cops is not lost on the other inmates.

Summer now has her huge purple ball and Mr Ears - and is sent down to be 'put' in the car. About to leave, Phyllis picks up the 'hear/see/speak no evil monkey's she hurled at Nick yesterday - and puts it in the trash. Off go the lights - and Phyllis is gone.

That bastard deserved to be shot - it was an accident, Nick insists. One day Faith will find out what Adam did - Sharon should be able to say she did everything she could to put him away. Get up on that stand and tell everyone what he's done - you're strong - make Adam pay. Sharon's torn - and honestly doesn't know what's stopping her. Nick does - her feelings for HIM.

Vance isn't too worried about Adam's confession to Sharon (who's been arrested for shoplifting - spent time in the sanitarium - tried to cover up a murder). She's an unstable liar. By the time Vance is down with this unreliable witness, the Judge will wonder if she's fit to raise her own kid. Absolutely NOT - no matter what Sharon says, Adam will NOT allow Vance to destroy her. 'Do your job' with everyone else - but not Sharon (who's been hurt enough).

Ending a business call, Nina listens to more of Paul and Chris' whining and groveling about how much Paul cares for her (and how happy Chris is for them). Can't we get past this? Right now, Nina just wants to concentrate on getting Chance out of jail.

The trio of cops are irritated with Chance - the 'Die Hard' routine's getting old (and they've got real police work to do). Heather pleads - if he won't go into isolation, then post bail and get out of here. Chance refuses. What to tell Nina? Tell her I'm good. Filing out, Malloy thinks Chance getting killed would serve him right. On the phone, Meeks informs that Chance turned em down flat - and watching the inmate with the tattoo shake Chance's hand - frowns 'like it or not, he's on the inside'. In his hand, Chance eyes the small bag of white powder.

I'll work on him, Skye promises Vance (as she shows him out). She then marches over to pinch Adam's injured arm. Ouch! Sharon did that, she reminds. Don't sabotage your own defense - Sharon won't come back. Jealous!? Of that pathetic waste of oxygen? Skye went all in with Adam - and won't lose her investment over his fantasy that will never come true. Adam marches out smiling - but outside the door, his confidence wanes.

Sharon denies her feelings for Adam have nothing to do with Nick (who disagrees - it has everything to do with him). No point wanting what I can't have - Sharon's not running back because he and Phyllis have split. Testify against him - sever all ties - we'll both be free, Nick implores. Phyllis? She made her choice - and Summer will always have him. Nick CAN imagine them reconciling - think about it. Faith's crying interrupts. Daddy's got you, he carries her off (leaving Sharon to answer the door). Adam - what are you doing here? Nick's here - you have to go, she hisses (then slips out into the hall). Sharon knows the photo - and kiss - are so she won't testify against him.

Team Chance is whining about him at CL's - how to get him out of jail - before he gets hurt. At lock up, Nina's pleading with Chance to accept bail (but yes, she understands why he won't). It'll be OK, he promises. Meanwhile, Meeks is talking to the con who passed drugs to Chance (when he gets killed, he'll look like a dirty cop).

In their hotel room, Phyllis makes plans for a movie tomorrow - then a boat ride. It'll be fun. After Summer falls instantly asleep, Phyllis reads an article (on break ups) - then posts 'her thoughts' - hate Nick - hate Victor - hate, hate, hate. She's a woman scorned.

Adam knows that Sharon plans to tell the truth on the stand - and is OK with that. Downstairs, Vance and Skye plan to hit that bitch with everything they've got. Back upstairs, Adam tells Sharon to say what she must - giving his word that no one will come after her. Sharon? Nick's puzzled to find the suite empty - where's Mommy?

Next: Nikki thinks Meggie's taking advantage - and if Victor doesn't say anything to her, SHE will .... Vance warns Adam - if Sharon testifies to his confession, you're going to prison pal ... Nick's just trying to 'protect' Sharon. Yeah, well - she thinks she needs protection from Adam AND him.

My Thoughts: Today's spoiler may have more gaffaws than usual. Sorry I'm incredibly late - my daughter fell off her bike and had to get X-rays (she'll live - and promises to 'suck it up' next time she injures herself while Mommy's 'working').
