Today's Spoiler

At the mausoleum, Chloe catches Chance making arrangements to meet Heather. They then discuss Nina (who almost lost one son on the anniversary of losing another). Yeah - that's why Chance couldn't meet Chloe that day - but maybe later they can discuss why Chloe's still wearing his ring. Yeah - later - see ya (Chance leaves to meet Heather). Chloe ignores Nina's chilly attitude to express concern. What's she doing? Trying to be nice. Nina assumes she wants something - whatever it is - forget it (she hurries out).

On the CL's patio, Paul joins Heather (who's working on getting the lawsuit against her dismissed). Paul's got a clue that might lead to him to Nina's kidnapped son. From who? The last person you'd ever expect.

Malloy and Chris are at the club - discussing the attempt on Chance's life. Chris is still torn over knowing that he's Nina's son (whom she still mourns the loss of). No - she won't say anything - but once the case is wrapped up, Chris sees NO reason to keep it from Nina.

At home, Daniel's painting is interrupted by a visit from Abby - who's looking for her favourite lipstick 'Pucker up Pink'. Coffee? No - she'd prefer tomato juice and vodka. Yeah - he's heard about Adam - it's all over the news. Abby's fuming that Adam's free (and what Vance did to her mother on the stand). And he called ME an exhibitionist!

At CL's, Mike plans to win Lauren's case (against Jill) - THEN handle the Newman's. Detecting that there's no guarantee, Lauren wishes Mike could tell her there's no way Jill will win today.

There's no way I can lose today, a confident Jill assures Kay (who reminds that money's not the most important thing). Jill wants to claim her rightful place in the Fenmore family. Wish me well - support me. Good luck, Kay says without conviction.

Back on the CL's patio, Paul confides his source - his Dad. As the lead Detective on the case, Carl left many notes on Rose DeVille. She's dead - but 'Pete Bender' drove the van Chris and Nina were kidnapped in. He needs access to the police reports on Bender. Paul all but giggles - his Dad was once his 'got to' guy on the force - and now SHE is. Full circle.

Still at the club, Malloy denies he resents Nina (and Chance) for giving him up - and keeping Chance. By the time he found out that he was kidnapped and sold as a baby, it didn't matter - Malloy was raised by wonderful parents. He couldn't ditch them for his biological mother. Nina's pain? She was a victim - it sucks. She's your mother, Chris reminds (as Nina approaches). Blaming Malloy for her son's predicament, Nina refuses to shake Malloy's hand. Apologizing that she's had to worry so much (about her son), Malloy leaves.

Jill opens the gift Kay's given her - a lace doily Liz made. Cue the reminiscing. Oh, why can't Lauren believe that Jill only wants to be part of her family (not the money)? Kay agrees that Lauren reacted badly - but has tried to make up for it. Jill sees it as damage control - she humiliated me on live TV. You were holding a press conference on her father's grave. OUR father! See? Things would be different if Lauren had just ONCE reached out to her.

I reached out to her SO many times, Lauren gripes - Jill's lawsuit is all about greed. Lauren would like to settle - their differences. Jill just wants to be acknowledged as part of the family - give her a percentage of the estate, Mike suggests - she might drop the case. Jill FOSTER'S not getting one penny of my father's money, Lauren stands firm.

At the mausoleum, Kay ends her call with Murphy to chat with Chloe (who wishes she could find Chance's brother, he might be able to help out). No - Chloe's not sure she wants to let go of Chance. Kay wishes her luck (then leaves Chloe to do some online research on Malloy). Hmmm - here's his high school info - perhaps his classmates might shed some light.

Back at the club, Nina's not impressed that Chris is helping Malloy (and makes vague references to being 'stabbed in the back'). Sorry - but Nina feels 'in the way'. 'The kiss' was in the present - NOT the past. How can Nina compete with the history Chris and Paul share?

We need to talk, Malloy finds Heather and Paul at CL's. He easily surmises that Heather knew that Chance scored drugs in jail. He gave YOU the drugs. ARE we on the same side? Give me the drugs, Malloy demands. Heather sighs - in my office. When Chance arrives, Malloy warns him not to discuss the case. Piss off Malloy, Chance snarls - as he leads Heather to the patio. It must be hard not to tell Chance that Malloy's on his side. No - it's hard not putting my fist through his face, Malloy corrects Paul.

On the patio, Chance is sorry for involving Heather (who shouldn't be in the middle). He'll get the drugs out of her office - and set up surveillance in the evidence room. Whomever comes for them is in on this. Heather wants to go to Owen. OK - fine - set up the meeting - but don't tell him that Chance is coming (and ditch the bodyguard). Chance doesn't trust anyone - except for her.

At Daniel's, Abby rants about Vance. Seems her act of irresponsibility is working (and her parents will never guess what she's up to with Uncle Jack. So - what's the problem? Why do Abby's parents have to be so stubborn? Daniel thinks she could have it all - including a hot guy (with a big ego) ~kiss~ a HUGE ego ~kiss~

Slipping into Heather's, Chance searches for the drugs. Arriving/interrupting, Owen decides to also 'wait for Heather'.

At the courthouse, Lauren leaves yet another 'important' message for her mother. She's the only person who can give insight onto Neil's intentions. Enter Jill and her attorney (and Kay - who hopes they can come to some compromise). No way, both Lauren and Jill glare (as all file in to the court room).

Joining Nina and Chris, Paul updates on Chris Bender. He's learned the names of the people who adopted her son; Lansing. We're very close. Nina's overjoyed (while Chris looks nervous).

Chloe's investigation (by phone) turns up nothing on Malloy. Hmmmm.

Hand on the bible, Jill swears to tell the truth - whole truth - nothing but the truth. Cut to Lauren on the stand - growing up, she was groomed to continue the Fenmore legacy - Daddy trusted her (as the only one to keep his legacy alive). Back to Jill (who addresses Lauren) as she acknowledges it must be hard for a spoiled only child (like Lauren) to accept a sister - but it's not about her privileged life - it's about the life SHE was deprived of. Back and forth it goes - both pleading their case. Lauren's doubled Fenmore's worth - why should Jill be entitled to that? Jill talks of being a CEO of Jabot and CI - perhaps she could have increased Fenmore's profit. I'm the only Fenmore left. I'm the only Fenmore who was left OUT. I'm his heir - the will says his heirs share equally in his estate, Jill concludes.

Mike now addresses the Judge - Jill had a loving family (she wasn't 'abandoned'). Now, Jill iS alone - not a Foster - or a Chancellor - but she's not a Fenmore. The wording of the will indicates he never considered Jill his child. Only ONE child is mentioned; Lauren - the one true heir. THAT is the way it should be. As the Judge calls a recess to decide, Jill's attorney announces that a package has arrived (which he hurries to tend to).

When Heather arrives at her office, she's surprised to find the drugs aren't where she hid them. I didn't take them, Chance swears (while a furious Owen warns that if they aren't found, Chance is going back to jail - and Heather will be fired!).

Still at the club, Nina giggles with joy (when Paul hangs up to announce that her son's name is Hayden Lansing). He was a football star - honour student - went to college in California - that's it so far (but yes, he has more leads). You're gonna meet your son, Paul echoes Nina's hopes (while Chris forces a smile).

At Jimmy's, Chloe ambushes Malloy - who the hell are you? She knows he was born the exact same day Nina's first son was born. His high school's never heard of him - his Facebook page shows fake photos - fake everything. He's messing with people Chloe cares about. Tell the truth - or she'll expose him. He won't be able to hide who he really is - OR, what he's up to.

Clothes strewn all over, Daniel has the Naked Heiress in his bed. She really admires the 'Naked Artist's' technique ~kiss~

As Chance rummages through Heather's desk, he wonders if she told anyone about the drugs (beside Owen). It MUST be Malloy. Chance doesn't understand why she wants him to back away from this case. I care about you dammit! I CARE about you!

Malloy will tell Chloe who he is - but she better keep her mouth shut. Understood? Fine - no need to go all Dirty Harry. Yeah - Malloy IS Chance's brother - Nina's son. Mouth shut, Malloy reminds (as he walks off to call Chris - Chloe figured out who I am - but doesn't know he's FBI). We're running out of time, Chris frets - your Mom's about to find you.

When the Judge returns, Jill assures that her lawyer will be right back. Please - just a few more minutes. Nope - but as the Judge is clearly siding with Lauren, Jill's attorney returns to announce he has someone who can testify to Neil's intentions. Lauren looks most distressed - as Joanna, her mother, marches in.

Next: At Gloworm, Kevin's incredulous. You want ME to be a model?! Brains - and a cute butt? Chloe has her camera in hand - what more could you ask for? .... In the nursery, Mac wrings her hands - as Lily asks her to be the twins Godmother ... Joanna on the stand, the Baldwin's look like the smell something bad. That illegitimate daughter was responsible for turning my own daughter into a spoiled brat.

My Thoughts: I don't get why Kay barks 'oh, shut up' at Mike (who shows her nothing but respect) ... Gotta love how Malloy and Heather loudly discuss hidden drugs in the middle of a crowded coffee shop (and how Chloe and Jimmy have an equally indiscreet converstation in the middle of Jimmy's) ... Note that Chris claims her and Paul's feelings are in the past - but does absolutely NOTHING to reassure Nina that she has no feelings for Paul now ... If there was a complete investigation, why wasn't this driver interviewed 25 years ago? How can the case be easier to solve 2+ decades after the fact? What does that say about Carl Williams (lead investigator's) skills? ... If Abby liked her 'Pucker Up' lipstick so much, why would she have it tucked inside her bra (at Glowworm) ... Tomato juice and vodka Abby? That's what we'd call a Bloody Mary dumbass. And why is Abby so outraged that Vance would call her an exhibitionist? ... Hasn't Lauren been married to a lawyer long enough to know that there's never any guarantees? ... WTH is Jill supposed to do with that old doily? ... If Jill claims she doesn't want the Fenmore money, why not drop the lawsuit (in exchange for Lauren's promise that she'll be invited over for Christmas and family occasions)? .... How would Chris know that Nina's devastated every year on this day (Malloy's birthday)? She hasn't been around in a decade ... Oh Paul - aren't you always 'up against a brick wall'? ... Maybe Chloe should join Paul William's Investigations. But really - why would an undercover FBI agent even HAVE a Facebook page. And how would Chloe know that all his photos (and 'posts') were fake? And if she knows all that's fake - why would she assume Malloy's using his real birth date on his license? Why couldn't Malloy just admit that he's under cover - and leave it at that? ... Kinda hard to feel sorry for Nina - when she's so unnecessarily rude to Chloe (what could she possibly think Chloe would 'want' from her? A peek at her manuscript?) .... And since Nina just came from downstairs, how does she know that Ester's 'in the kitchen'? ... Heather couldn't think of a better place to hide the drugs? ... Paul got a clue from the last person in the world Heather would expect - Carl Williams. Or rather, his notebook. How lucky that Paul was so quickly able to find the notes taken over 25 years ago. Carl must have one helluva a filing system ... If Chance is suspended - and self confessed drug addicted cop, how exactly would he have any authority to set up surveillance on the evidence room? ... Chloe can't get together with Chance 'later' because she's got a 'pretty crazy' day? Doing what? Why SHOULD Chloe give the ring back? Oh - I know she'd be required to (under law) - but really, Chance doesn't need to pawn it for cash - and he's the one responsible for the break up. Why not let her keep it?
