At the Abbott dinner table, the topic is Adam's lawsuit. At least Victor will finally get what he deserves (at his own son's hand no less).

At the ranch, the Newman's and Mike are also discussing Adam's lawsuit. Mike will try to suppress the RS article. Adam's going after everyone at the cabin that night - all except one.

Adam startles Sharon at CL's - just to say Hi. Why is he not suing her? Because she didn't turn against him. Well - Sharon's NOT on his side (and will testify so everyone wins against him).

At Paul's, he's on his laptop - while Nina's off to CL's (with her laptop). Thanks for finding out her son's name (and will indeed thank him later - by sleeping over). Paul hands her a key - have fun. Minutes later, Chris comes knocking - hi (awkward silence).

Back to the ranch - the first step; a motion to dismiss. Who's body WAS that in the stables (ID'd as Skye's) - and can they prove Skye's journal was a hoax (and she was bilking Dr Taylor)? Perhaps they can even launch a counter suite. Serving drinks, Meggie's introduced (and thanked by Nick) - before disappearing again. Nikki explains that Meggie's her new assistant. Vikki's in a hurry to leave (when summoned to the trailer). Mike quietly expresses concern over taking Meggie in. Nothing to worry about, Victor assures.

The Abbott's discuss separating themselves from the other defendants. My Dad wants the same things we do, Abby says. Getting a text from Vikki, Billy leaves Abby to quietly talk to Jack about getting her inheritance. Her irresponsible behavior? That's part of her plan. Mike seems to be suspicious of the drinks Meggie served - how much do they know about her? Nikki was suspicious too - but this Shaw Roberts is no joke. She risked her life - lost her bar, Victor says. Meggie appears with mail and a pitcher of iced tea. She overheard them mention Skye - if she thinks if anything that might help, she'll let them know. As Meggie drifts off again, Mike decides to do a second background check on her.

As they clear the dinner table, Abby declares her mother courageous. When Traci announces that she'll be the twins Godmother, Abby claims there's something she wants to do....

Now seated at Gloworm (with a potential investor), Skye apologizes for Adam's tardiness - he's on his way. When the man walks - and Adam arrives, she snarls that they just lost a big investor. Holding Faith, Nick enjoys his smoothie. Sharon dabs whipped cream off his lip - and thanks him for letting them stay at the tackhouse. Yes - she does feel safe. At the mention of Adam, Sharon admits he was just there.

At a nearby table, Nina types away (but flashes back to Paul and Chris' kiss). Don't drive yourself crazy, she shakes her head.

No - it's not a bad time, Paul assures. No - he hasn't found anything else on Nina's son (but he's not giving up). She's lucky to have you, Chris says (then says she's going back to DC soon). Seeing anyone? he wonders what the hurry is. No - Chris has been dating a lot - but nothing's clicked. I should go. Paul brings up their kiss - they can't keep playing this avoidance dance. Chris initiates the kiss - but it's Paul who kisses her onto the couch. I can't do this to Nina, Chris shoves him off - sorry - it's over. OMG - what have I done? I never should have come, Chris hurries out. Chris! Chris! Paul chases a few steps. And as he returns to his apartment, Nina rounds the corner - puzzled.

At the trailer, Vikki and Billy discuss their respective family meetings - between kisses. But they're soon bickering over who's to blame for Adam - Jack or Victor. Oh no - they're now locked in the room with the faulty doorknob.

Entering Jimmy's, Chris is on her phone - begging Mike to come have a drink with her. I could really use a friend. Mike can't - he's swamped. Turning to the TV, Chris challenges Nick to a bet (on the Cubs game).

Nikki declines Meggie's specialty - a Caesar. Ahh - an alcoholic, Meggie takes the drink away. As Nikki goes to fetch her calendar, Victor hisses at Mike to watch the Newman Fund (any misstep and he'll go to the Feds).

Still locked in the bathroom (with the fire department on it's way), Vikki and Billy continue to debate Victor's culpability vs. Jack's. Hello? a fireman enters (while Vikki and Billy are giggling and kissing in the shower).

Abby adds her fresh flowers to Colleen's gravesite - as she, Ashley and Traci talk to the dead girl. I miss you so much, Abby weeps. I need my sister. She'll always be with us ~wet group hug~

Mike joins Vance on the CL's patio - to discuss Adam's lawsuit. What's the price to settle? 8 digits - starting with the number two.

Side by side in a booth, Nick points out that Chris lost an earring (but looks better without it). Nick loses the best - what were they wagering? Nick leans in to kiss Chris (not what she had in mind ... but what the hell) ~kiss~

Busted in the shower, half dressed, Billy and Vikki are rescued when a fireman breaks down the bathroom door. NOW will he fix the doorknob? ~kiss~

Never mind that Adam's marriage is a business arrangement, Sharon could never be with him (after all he's done). Adam won't believe it. There's too much going on here - he's willing to wait. Sharon marches out (leaving her sweater behind).

Ending a call, Jack tells Skye that Adam's gone - and he's easily manipulated. What does that mean? Surely, the 'smart cookie' can figure it out.

20 million? Mike has a counter offer - Adam drops the lawsuit and his clients won't counter sue. Vance declines. Skye then calls Mike - it's not now he can help her - it's how SHE can help HIM.

Back at the ranch, Meggie again apologizes for the mix up. Victor's updated - but there's no need for Meggie to go - Nikki's fond of her now. If Nikki's happy, that's all that matters. On the stairs, Meggie frowns.

No, Paul didn't sleep with Chris - but can't deny he wanted to. Forced to admit SHE was the one to stop it, Paul gets a slap in the face (and Nina marches out).

Inside Jimmy's, Phyllis orders a drink - then gets a good eyeful of Nick kissing a blonde (whom she believes to be Sharon). Flashing back to the Paris kiss, Phyllis looks troubled.

My Thoughts: Patty and Adam are still on the loose - and Billy leaves the trailer's front door wide open? That's some huge shower - for a trailer ... If Mike doubts that Adam's lawsuit will 'hold up' - why does he want to settle? ... How does Sharon think her testimony will help 'all those people win their case'? She was already declared an unreliable witness ... Why is Paul giving Nina a key to his place - then pouncing on Chris 10 minutes later? Did he not think she might return and catch him and Chris making out? He needs to be smacked upside his head with both those stupid white hands on his desk ... Nick and Chris? Well - I guess he DOES like older women - but them hooking up is just so random. What do the have in common - other than baseball? Oh yeah - both are sexually frustrated .... Nice that Abby and Ashley are being civil - since Abby just evicted her .... Naked or not, if Colleen wasn't taken seriously when sent in on her mission to conquer the business world, I doubt Abby will ....
