Wheeling a fussy Faith back into CL's, Sharon offers her the blanket she left behind. When Faith continues to cry, Sharon looks frustrated - you want your Daddy, don't you?

Meanwhile, at Jimmy's, Phyllis snarls at the bartender - tell those two to get a room (then marches out). Unaware, Nick continues to kiss Chris passionately.

Now dressed, Vikki and Billy joke about the fireman - and what he thought. Ignoring Billy's protests, Vikki ends their kiss to take a call from Connie. Daddy's summoned - and Vikki's off running. Jack arrives. Watching Vikki march out, he'd like to say he's sorry for interrupting - but he's NOT.

Nina's at Heather's office - looking for Chance. Enter Paul - no, he's not there to see Chris. Stay, Paul encourages Nina - he wants Heather to help find Nina's son (whom he hasn't been able to locate). Nina appreciates Paul's help. On her computer, Heather looks up Aiden Lansing (as Malloy frowns through the open door).

In Victor's office, he apologizes for the late evening summons - but he's gone to the Dept. of Justice (regarding the gun). Mike thinks they may target Vikki for legal action. Warning - this time, Victor might not be able to protect her.

Taking credit for NE's exclusive arrangement with Mitsogushi, Vikki thinks Daddy should do whatever he can to protect her. Victor told the DofJ that the gun was a gift - and offered to pay for any infractions. So - pay the fine - it'll go away, Vikki assures. THEY may drop it - but Tucker won't (he wants Beauty of Nature). No, he won't sacrifice Vikki - but it'd be in everyone's best interest if she lay low. Vikki went to Japan to save Victor's butt - and THIS is how she's thanked?! Victor's not really blaming Vikki - he blames Billy Abbott!

Back at the trailer, Jack's there to discuss Adam's lawsuit. Wanting to separate the Abbott's from the Newman's, Jack's pleased that he broke up with Vikki. Newman's and Abbott's don't work - look at Ashley and Victor. But we ARE together, Billy corrects.

Doesn't matter - doesn't matter, Phyllis mutters to herself (as she orders decaf at CL's). Of course Nick ran into Sharon's arms. Sharon - you're here! Phyllis thought she saw her at Jimmy's. Guess it was someone who looks exactly like her. Phyllis isn't shocked that Sharon isn't being sued. Sharon then thanks Phyllis for helping her get Faith back. And no, she hasn't seen Nick. You should call him, Phyllis encourages (then leaves Sharon to mull it over).

At Jimmy's, Nick pries his lips from Chris' - to take a call from the babysitter. Hearing that Phyllis and Summer are back, Nick apologizes to Chris (who suggests they forget this ever happened). Good luck, they awkwardly exchange (leaving Chris to make a call - meet me at your place - I need to see you).

What's so interesting? Malloy joins Heather. Hovering behind her, Nina and Paul hear that Aiden Lansing went to Lakeside High - good student - football star - college in CA - that's it. Paul hit the same dead end. And how is it possible that Aiden never filed taxes? Nina just wants to tell her son she loves him. After Paul and Nina leave, Malloy scolds her for helping civilians - and smuggling drugs for her boyfriend. You stole them from my office, Heather accuses.

Nick arrives at the penthouse - complaining that Phyllis didn't tell him that his daughter was back. Daddy - I missed you, Summer interrupts. Phyllis makes some snide remarks (about Daddy being in a rush). And as Summer runs up to grab his gift, Phyllis confronts him on making out with some blond bimbo at Jimmy's.

Handing Jack a beer, Billy claims that Vikki may look like she wants to kill him - but she LOVES him. Cool it - or it'll bite the Abbott's in the ass. How can Jack create distance from the Newman's - if Billy's sleeping with one of em? Break it off - just until Adam's lawsuit is settled. Victor couldn't break them up - and neither will Jack (Billy clinks his beer bottle).

Back at the office, Victor continues to blame Billy (while Vikki won't let him use this to make her break up with Billy). Is she willing to risk everything for this punk? Yes. Victor won't tolerate it. Forced to choose, fine - Vikki chooses Billy (and slams out).

Now at the mausoleum, Paul insists on searching for Nina's son - not because he feels guilty - but because he cares (and is sorry Nina doubts that). Why can't he just admit he wants to be with Cricket? Because he wants to be with Nina. Let me know what you find out about Aiden's roommate, Nina sends Paul off. Chris appears - to say good bye. She's leaving now - and never should have come. Leaving's hard. Leaving PAUL is hard, Nina guesses she still loves him (which Chris can't deny).

Malloy won't deny he took the drugs - and won't hand them over (even though Heather's screwed if she doesn't hand them over to Owen). Malloy accuses both her and Chance of messing up this investigation. Chance is the only one trying to solve it, Heather replies. You'll both get killed, Malloy warns. Ignoring Heather's request to hand over the heroine, Malloy walks.

Nick gushes over Supergirl (in his lap). Don't go Daddy, she clings. Of course she can go spend the night with Daddy. Go get Mr Ears. Phyllis is going out - lock up when you leave. She declines talking about Jimmy's - she's not interested - that's the beauty of this. Text when you're bringing her back, Phyllis marches out. Sharon then calls to ask if Nick can come back to CL's (to calm down their teething daughter). Hanging up, Sharon looks full of hope.

Box in hand, Vikki returns to Victor's office - to hand in her letter of resignation. Victor can't take it - cause his hands are jammed in his pockets. You're quitting? a scowling Victor suggests she take responsibility for her actions. Vikki doesn't like being made the scapegoat - go ahead - blame Billy. Victor does - Billy's an obnoxious human being - who's using her to destroy the Newman family. Walk out - and Vikki's not welcome back. Vikki wasn't planning to ~slam~

At CL's, Jack approaches the night owls. No - he can't join Sharon (he's meeting with a lawyer over Adam's lawsuit). He won't get one dime, Jack assures. Now at the counter, Jack gets a call from Red (who whines that Nick's a jerk - she'd like someone to play with. Gloworm is her sandbox of choice - and Jack will be there after his meeting.

Summer races to Faith's stroller (then takes Dad's money to go buy a drink). Nick sits to confirm Sharon's assumption (that his run in with Phyllis didn't go well). It's been one hell of an evening, he huffs.

Moseying into Gloworm, Phyllis takes it all in. At the bar, she orders A Dying Bastard. The bartender turns. I meant the drink, she quips to Deacon.

Vikki and her box barge into Billy's trailer. I quit, she grabs his beer - and I told Dad what he could do with it. I'm DONE - taking orders - and being blamed for everything that goes wrong at NE. Billy's overjoyed - wishing he could have seen Victor's face. This calls for more beers. To a life without Victor Newman, Vikki toasts - tonight she starts with a clean slate. AND - she's never, ever going back to the ranch. Yes - she's sure. Billy knows a place she can live - here.

Hands planted firmly on her hips, Nina wants an answer to her question. Chris' arms are folded - Yes, she loves Paul - but things are the way they're supposed to be. Yes - she really has to go. She'll call Paul from DC ~hug~ I love you, Nina blubbers. Don't give up on finding your son, Chris says in parting. As soon as Chris leaves, Nina makes a call - it's me - there's something you should know.

Nick, Sharon and the kids are the picture of a happy family. Ending his call from Vikki, Nick updates that she and Victor had it out too. But - all's good now (as they laugh - and dab whipped cream on each other's noses). Nick agrees they should call it a night (but doesn't exactly look eager to leave).

Phyllis doesn't trust Deacon mixing her drinks - nor that it was Sarah who made him frame Daniel. After some sexually charged banter (about his special brand of roadside assistance), Phyllis hopes he's not waiting for a tip - or anything else. Lemme know if you change your mind, Deacon turns to his bottles.

On the CL's patio, Chris is on the phone with Malloy. She's leaving because she lost her objectivity. Someone will get hurt if she stays. Malloy tells her to have the Bureau bury Aiden Lansing. Paul's determined to find him, Chris replies. He's stubborn and smart, Malloy hopes his cover won't be blown. But when Chris encourages him to tell Nina, Malloy cuts her off - have a safe trip. Paul appears - you weren't even going to say good bye?

Without even knocking, Jack saunters into Victor's office (to announce he's filing a motion to spilt Adam's suit into two). The Abbott's have suffered enough (Colleen's death - Ashley nearly driven insane) - why should THEY pay for a mess Victor created? Well, there can't be enough distance between the two family's for Victor's liking - tell Billy that. Yeah? Tell VIKKI that. Victor leans across his desk to sneer smugly - all these years and Jack hasn't yet learned that when Victor wants something destroyed, it will be.

On the patio, Chris denies she was trying to sneak off - OK - maybe she was. Cue the sappy music. I wish ... poor Paul - he doesn't know what to wish. Chris invites him and Nina to DC some time. So - good bye ~hug~ Both are near tears as Chris exits.

Owen wants to see me in his office (tomorrow), Heather hangs up to inform Malloy. He's gonna fire (and maybe arrest) me. Malloy's got it covered - he'll make sure it gets cleared up (but won't admit he took the drugs). Malloy knows they don't like one another - but trust me. All the nosy Heather needs to know is that Malloy's gonna take care of everything.

Jack doesn't like Billy with Vikki any more than Victor does - but this one Victor won't win. Before slamming out, Jack warns Victor to stay the hell away from his brother. Victor makes a call - find out everything you can about Billy Abbott - every dirty little secret.

At the trailer, Vikki's still thrilled about her newfound freedom - it's amazing. She has a new life - a terrific new home - a beautiful trailer *gulp*. No - she doesn't need a loft downtown. She'll be happy to live with Billy in his trailer (and Daddy will hate it). They again clink bottles - to not caring what the rest of the world thinks.

Sharon just knew Nick could work his magic (and get his fussy kid to sleep). Summer crashed out with her head on the table is a clue that it's time to get going. Nick's just fine in a hotel. If Vikki can move off the ranch, so can he. Hey! A lightbulb goes off over Nick's head - why doesn't Sharon move back into HER home (the former Hellstrum home she and Nick once shared).

At Gloworm, cue the sinister music - as Deacon sidles up behind Phyllis - how's the drink? It doesn't suck. Deacon does a lot of things well. Good for you. Might be good for you too. Phyllis pulls a bill out of her bra - keep the change. The kiss is passionate and sudden (as is the subsequent slap Phyllis delivers). Jack arrives - jaw hanging as he makes a beeline towards Deacon. Hey - what the hell's going on here!?

Next: Adam (with a black eye) works some more on Sharon - Must be hard - having everyone telling you to hate me - when you don't.. Tucker has a firm grip on Ashley - Admit to yourself you're lying - you want me as much as I want you ... Jack seems concerned about Phyllis - I know the warning signs - YOU are spinning out of control.

My Thoughts: 'Using a department computer to help a civilian' Malloy scolds Heather (if only he knew how many favours Paul receives from his 'connection' on the force) ... This always makes you happy, Sharon waves a yellow blanket over Faith's stroller. Huh? Ashley's fictitious baby, Robert, makes her happy? ... You want your Daddy, don't you? Sharon then sing songs (yeah - cause Nick's been such a dominating influence in her life thus far) ... Life in DC sure has changed Chris (who was always known as Saint Christine). Has it been THAT long? Is she THAT sexually frustrated that she pounces on any male within reach? .. How can Nina (with a straight face) say 'I love you' (to the woman who's now been caught with her man TWICE) ... Say what you want about Vikki, but she IS willing to give up her luxury life to live in a trailer with the man she loves. Sophia (in her luxury condo with the massive closets) should definitely take note). Poor Malcolm (that his woman isn't as lovestruck as Billy's is). That said, living in such close quarters will either bring Vikki and Billy closer together - or destroy them. Just sharing that tiny bathroom is enough to cause friction - and where will Vikki put all her clothes? At least it doesn't appear that she owns any bulky hair appliances (like a hair dryer, curlers, a flat iron) - it almost looks like she's got dreadlocks ... Huh? TGVN may not be able to protect his daughter this time? No more 'I'll handle this' - 'I'll take care of everything'? Not such a bad thing (as we all know the results of Victor 'helping' Vikki get custody of Reed) ... When Victor placed all the blame on Billy, why didn't Vikki bother to mention that it was Jill who hacked (well accessed without permission) into his computer - then passed the info on to Tucker? ... Phyllis really thinks she saw someone who looks 'exactly like' Sharon? Because they have similar hair styles? ... Oh Phyllis - so what if you don't have D cups (while Nick's ex does) - there's no need to stuff your bra with 20 dollar bills.
