Today's Spoiler

Billy serves dessert; animal crackers (is all he could find). This is the quietest New Year's he's ever had (but he'd trade all the parties in the world to be with Vikki). This will be the best year ever, he promises (though Vikki doesn't seem as convinced).

Following a romantic dinner out, the Baldwin's enjoy a stroll through the park. Mike butchering the French language, both are glad they skipped celebrating at G-worm (in favour of an evening to themselves).

At GCM, Daniel (with Abby) and Phyllis (with Jack) wonder what's taking Daisy and Jana so long. The monitor turned off, Abby states the obvious; there's no way to track Daisy. Daniel's bad feeling is only getting worse.

Outside Jimmy's, Jana's distressed at the sight of Kevin kissing Chloe on the sidewalk. Oh look - here's a brick conveniently left on the ground. Kevin and Chloe pull apart to exchange 'Happy New Year'. Help me! Jana, her head bleeding, staggers over. Daisy escaped, she pants. Chloe's smile is more a grimace - as Kevin embraces his wobbly ex.

Jana's perched on the curb, tended to by Chloe, as Kevin calls Daniel to updated that Daisy's missing. Handed the phone, Jana's put on speakerphone (to lie her ass off - Daisy pulled a knife out - took her money and car). I've got a killer headache - I really messed up, Jana wails. Call ended, Daniel takes the blame (for bringing the Marshall over - pushing Daisy over the edge). No worries - the ankle monitor must have been reactivated when Kevin called the cops. Daisy will be in custody tonight, Phyllis assures (unaware that the ankle monitor's been tossed - and is laying somewhere on the ground).

Still sipping champagne, Billy suggests they liven things up. Choice one - a movie. Choice 2 - dance. Vikki cuts him off. Denying she's a 'downer', Billy doesn't look exactly thrilled as Vikki turns the TV on to watch a classic movie.

As one officer tends to Jana, another questions Kevin and Chloe (who points out that it's not like Jana damaged her own head). Daisy may seem sweet and innocent, but her rap sheet proves she's anything but. Kevin isn't surprised - he knew Daisy hadn't changed.

Cuddling on a park bench, Lauren's panicked by a text to alert that Daisy's escaped. Mike immediately calls Daniel for the update. Daniel's next call informs that the cops are tracking Daisy - the monitor's sending in a signal. Phyllis now 100% sure that Daisy will lose the baby, she badgers Daniel to step up. Let this go! Daniel (who still wants the baby adopted far away) shrugs out of her grasp and marches off (leaving Jack to restrain Phyllis).

'No way' is Lauren 'going home' - we're going to GCM (to wait for that bitch too).

Movie over, Billy suggests they take Delia to see the ice sculptures this week. Now, what's wrong? he prods. Turning the TV back on, Vikki just wants to watch the stupid movie - then finally admits her results came back. Glum that it's pretty much impossible for her to have another baby, Vikki huffs off.

Jana on a gurney, Kevin and Chloe are all smiles as they discuss their relationship. Arm in arm, they're told that Jana's being taken to GCM (where she'll give a formal statement). Asking Kevin to go with her, Jana clearly isn't thrilled that Chloe's going too).

Back at GCM, Daniel wants to go to where the monitor signal's coming from. Abby's dissuaded from going too. Daniel insists Daisy's still dangerous - he's going alone. Jack agrees - if anyone can handle Daisy now, it's Daniel. As he leaves, the Baldwin's arrive (Lauren wasting no time blaming Phyllis for Daisy escaping).

Meanwhile, driving along the dark road, Daisy groans in agony as a contraction hits. But if she stops, she's 'screwed'.

Billy's sorry to hear Vikki's news (and that she got it alone). Vikki denies she 'excluded' Billy (not wanting to ruin his New Year's Eve). They then bicker (until Vikki DOES want to be alone; and slams out).

Daisy voices hope that her baby can wait til they get to Canada. Agggh - she groans. Pulling over, she pants - nooo. Not now!!

Lauren continues to rant at Phyllis (who's defended by Jack). The police will find her, Phyllis assures. And when Jana arrives in a wheelchair, Lauren has another reason to blast Phyllis - see - I told you Daisy was violent! She then accuses Phyllis of 'emotional blackmail' (feeling guilty, Daniel took Daisy in). The finger pointing and shrieking is interrupted when Daniel calls. Hanging up, Abby reports the monitor was found - but no Daisy (who could be anyone). Furious, Lauren points her finger once more at Phyllis - if Daisy hurts anyone (including that innocent baby), it's on YOU!

Wow, Abby's floored by Lauren's outburst - and what a great episode this would be for The Naked Heiress. As Kevin saunters off for an update, Chloe and Abby update one another on their relationships. Seems both 'got a clue' today.

Aside, Mike calms Lauren down. No way she's leaving until Daisy's brought in. Yes, I can handle it, she swears.

Phyllis admits to Jack that Lauren's right - it IS her fault. Jack knows she had the best intentions (for the baby). In tears, Phyllis wanted her son to bond with his daughter (and now just wants the baby to be safe).

Kevin wheels Jana out to announce she has a mild concussion. I can't be alone, Jana grips Kevin's hand. Chloe snickers as Kevin invites her to stay with him. The Detective comes along to let the cat out of the bag that Jana had recanted her statement. When all react, Kevin growls 'back off - she did it for me'.

Daniel pulls over when he sees Jana's car (and opening the back door, finds Daisy in labour). It's too late to get to GCM - the baby's coming now! she wails.

Vikki returns to find Billy with a full glass in one hand, bottle in the other. She's sorry she ran off - he's sorry he was an ass. Vikki can't believe she'll never have his baby. Delia and Red should be enough - but a baby would complete their family. She'd though of baby names - a nursery - next year's stockings. It's OK, Billy gives her a hug and kiss. I'm sorry, Vikki weeps.

When Kevin explains why Jana recanted her testimony, Lauren and Abby chime in to say how convincing Daisy can be. Kevin relays his change of heart - Daniel's right - that baby needs to be placed far away. Jana then claims that Daisy threatened her weeks ago (to kill her if she didn't go along). She thought Daisy would let her live - and Kevin would get the baby. Of course Lauren doesn't hate Jana (she's still traumatized herself). Kevin and Chloe off for coffee, Jack and Mike head off to join the search.

Hold it in - don't push, Daniel instructs. I hate you Daniel!!! Daisy shouts through a contraction - then starts talking about making things work between them. No! Daniel wants the baby raised by a loving family (and will ensure that happens). I can see her head - she's coming. OMG! Daniel shouts.

Cuddling beside the retro Christmas tree, the Abbott's reminisce about last New Year's (Vikki finding Billy in the gutter outside Jimmy's). And now, they're married - crazy in love. Billy still thinks everything will work out fine ~kiss~

In Kevin's apartment, Jana thanks him - so sorry for all the trouble she's caused him. Daisy's one messed up chic, they agree (and also agree that Jana has issues to work on). Off to use the 'loo', Jana already knows where everything is. A moment to himself, Kevin calls Chloe (at the mausoleum). Yes, everything's fine - he just wanted to thank Chloe. For what? How cool she's been through all this. Chloe's cool that way. As Jana slips back into the room, Kevin's expressing how much he misses Chloe.

Jack and Mike are at the airport, showing a cell phone photo of Daisy (who the agent hasn't seen). Yes - she's a dangerous fugitive - call the police if you see her. Next? The bus stations, motels etc.

Phyllis leaves a message for Daniel - apologizing for their fight (and the chaos she's caused). This is your baby (Phyllis will support whatever decision he makes). You did the right thing, Lauren appears to say. Abby's now really worried - why hasn't Daniel called?

OMG, Daniel marvels at the newborn cradled in his arm. So distracted that he doesn't notice Daisy reaching for a flashlight (which she promptly thumps him over the head with).

Next: Sharon sashays into Victor's office - I'm here to ask for your help. Not for Adam's sake - for mine ... I've gotta get into that house. I wanna SEE my grandchildren, Collin tells Blake ... Phyllis is on the phone - I'm worried about Daniel - he went to look for Daisy - and he's missing.

My Thoughts: Sorry for the lack of commentary this week etc. It's a very busy time. I have a ton of food to prepare for a party tonight - so would just like to wish you all a very safe and happy New Year!!!! See you in 2011.
