Diane's also glad she 'came by' Nick's (knowing he needs her support - and has it, whether he decides to bail out Sharon or not). Retracting his hand, Nick decides they've talked enough about Sharon - let's talk about 'us'.
Sharon's glad to be home - and joking with Adam about her stint behind bars. Listing off the people who DIDN'T bail her out anonymously, they get to Victor. Surely it wouldn't be him. Sharon will do whatever it takes to defend herself - she did NOT kill Skye.
At RS, Phyllis and Billy were so distracted that they got outscooped (on Sharon's arrest). Billy delights Jack with photos of Lucy on his phone. Must be tough for Daniel - knowing his baby's out there, somewhere. She's really cute, Phyllis checks out the photos - not surprised to hear Victor's reaction, she blames him for Skye being a 'crispy critter'. As the Abbott boys whether Sharon's guilty, Phyllis takes a call - then reports that she's been bailed out.
Daydreaming at the bar, Victor's interrupted by Nikki (who wonders how he could possibly say Lucy's a mistake - it's not ABOUT Billy). Couldn't Victor mend fences with Vikki? Apparently not - Victor didn't ASK Nikki to do him the favour of reuniting him with his family.
Diane seems reluctant to discuss where her and Nick's relationship is going. They're both 'awesome' - but what is it Nick wants to say? His life's chaotic (Nick lists his family's drama he 'can't' drag Diane into). He can't be 'serious' right now - let's be friends.
In Adam's arms, Sharon whines about her night in jail - but she'd do it all over again (to save Adam from the same fate). Maybe this is a blessing, Sharon just needs to prove Skye's death was accidental - then no one can keep them apart ~kiss~
Back at RS, Phyllis and Billy both wonder if Jack was Sharon's 'hero'. Nope - then who? As they rule out the short list, Jack claims that Sharon could come up with the money herself - so why did someone rush in to rescue her?
Still at the bar, Victor gripes that Vikki has no desire to make amends - she chose Billy over her family. Not true - open your eyes. No - Open YOUR eyes - Vikki's suing Victor for the company he spent a lifetime building. She has a sense of entitlement - like her mother (Victor bellows about Nikki's sleazy behavior). YOU open YOUR eyes! he stomps off.
Phyllis, Billy and Phyllis continue to gossip - and what's this new evidence against Sharon? Phyllis contact at the station would only say it debunks Sharon's version of events. As they're first with the scoop that Sharon's been released, Phyllis hops on the computer to type out her story - wondering who bailed out this dangerous damsel in distress - and why?
Now home, Victor's on the phone. A chunk of his assets frozen, he has no choice but to order lay offs at Beauty of Nature and NE. Meanwhile, Nikki looks uncomfortable in such close proximity to a bar - and calls Deacon (who's on his way to meet her). Not up to being at a restaurant, Nikki thinks take out at his place sounds 'perfect'.
Diane stammers - of course she understands that Nick's life's too complicated for a new relationship. Good - cause Nick doesn't want to lose their friendship. How about a friendly hug? She looks disappointed as Nick gets up to answer the door (to find Sharon).
Shrugging her coat off, Sharon complains about Phyllis - then hears that Summer and Kyle have become good friends. No, Diane doesn't mind if Sharon speaks to Nick privately (so leaves her to ask if he's the one who paid her bond). No - and Nick has no idea who did. Sharon takes exception - you want me to be locked up still!?
Deacon's thrilled that Nikki's there (and still wants to talk to him). Don't get too cocky - Nikki wasn't so sure she did - but she really needs a friend. Wazzup? Oh, where to begin - how about 'that man' decimating his family? Besides Victor, Nikki's struggling - sobriety sure is a battle. She sure could use a drink.
Jack and Phyllis about to leave RS, Billy calls them over to his computer. Some guy's offering to sell info on Sharon's story. He has a copy of the evidence that lead to her arrest. Billy's immediately on the phone, negotiating.
Returning to the ranch, Diane claims her plans fell through. Pleased that she's back, Victor will tell the chef there's one more for dinner.
Adam calls someone he assumes won't want to hear from him (but hear me out - 5 minutes - you just might change your mind). What have you got to lose? he persists.
Jack joins Adam's table at the club - this better be good (he assumes it concerns Sharon). No - he didn't pay her bond. That's not why Adam called - he has a business proposition (that might benefit them both).
Faith's sleeping, Nick warns Sharon to keep it down. Taking it down a notch, Sharon rants that Nick wants her behind bars so he can get full custody of Faith. Nick's doing what's best for Faith (and he will NOT let her take Faith home; where Adam is). It'll get ugly if Nick tries to stop her. Damn well get used to it - once the charges are dropped, there'll be no reason to keep Faith from her mother.
Is that it? Is that it? Phyllis parrots as Billy receives email (then plays the audio sent by the mystery tourist). Listening, Phyllis hears Sharon (threatening Skye). Too bad it's cut off - what a cliff hanger. Now on the phone, Billy finalizes the deal - then is chided for having second thoughts. Phyllis insists - someone else will post it if we don't. Move aside, she uploads their breaking news (leaving readers to decide whether blondie killed her husband's ex.
Nikki reads her fortune cookie aloud - we can not direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails. Perhaps she should send this to Victor (but it's not his fault she's tempted to drink). Deacon talks of attending meetings - you're strong; survived that bitch Meggie. Deacon admires Nikki ~hug~ as she cries on his shoulder.
Going over blueprints, Diane finds Victor easy to work with (but chuckles that he's 'mellowed'). Reminiscing over their marriage, they disagree over who was the 'heart breaker'. But, here they are - enjoying working together. Victor knows that Diane's broke - but has no reservations about hiring her. He likes helping her and Kyle. Diane knows things haven't been easy for Victor either. But even if he lost it all, he'd rebuild. You're Victor. Newman. Smiling at the woman who knows him so well, Victor gives her a gentle peck on the forehead.
Adam claims that he knows Skye's favourite banks - her passwords - he'll find the money Victor gave her (which, as next of kin, belongs to him). Jack's role? To become rich with Adam. Work with HIM the way he did Skye.
Nick would be happy to see Sharon prove her innocence - he hated filing for full custody of Faith (but has no choice as long as she's with Adam). Open your eyes - a woman died in Hawaii - Faith saw her Mom arrested. Noah can't take it anymore - he's gone to New York to work on his music. A dejected Sharon plops into the sofa - he didn't even say bye to me. He wants you away from Adam, Nick's told that Sharon's with Adam 'for good'. Look at what he's cost us - if the situation was reversed, wouldn't Sharon do everything to protect the kids? Nick WANTS his kids to have their mother - find a way to be with our children, but keep them away from Adam.
Jack's doing just fine thanks. Victor screwed us both - it'd kill him to see us get rich together, Adam persists. Nu uh - doing business with Adam leaves a bad taste in Jack's mouth. Think about it - show my Dad he's not the big dog in the yard anymore, Adam leaves Jack to wear his 'thinking' face.
Sharon's sorry - she doesn't see things as Nick does - and is taking Faith for the night - to be with her and Adam - in her home. Nick looks frustrated as she goes to fetch her daughter (who's conveniently just woken up).
Reaction to the video? It's gone viral, Billy boasts. But honestly, a subdued Phyllis doesn't think Sharon killed Skye. Billy plays devil's advocate - it was a crime of passion. Phyllis throws up some 'good unanswered questions'. As much as she'd love to see Sharon rot in jail - it doesn't add up.
Nikki appreciates Deacon's supportive words - so much so that she kisses him. Yes, she DID say this couldn't happen again (but has changed her mind). Attached at the lips, they can't get Deacon's shirt off fast enough.
Meanwhile, Victor turns Diane's head for a kiss. Pulling away, Diane stands as if to leave. Instead, she slowly unzips her dress to reveal leopard print lingerie that makes Victor's eyes glaze over.
Next: I'm gonna go to Lily - I'm gonna tell her the truth, Cane announces to Sophia ... Diane opens the front door. How can I help you? she asks Nikki with a sly smile. Rolling her eyes, Nikki marches into the ranch - Victor?! ... The baby may be your kid, but she's MY niece. Do you really know where she is? Kevin wants answers from Daniel.
My Thoughts: Unfortunately, I'm still battling the virus on my laptop. I hope to have it fixed tomorrow .... Nick and Diane couldn't make plans for Summer and Kyle over the phone? Or - making more sense - Summer and Kyle couldn't call one another? They're both able to use the phone, no? ... Yeah Deacon - don't get too 'cocky' - just cause you're a sleezy guy - in a sleezy motel - doesn't mean Nikki's sleezy too (does it?) ... Hmm - it really seems that Nick sincerely worries about the safety and well being of the kids. IS there a way that Sharon could jointly parent them - while maintaining a relationship with Adam? Find a way, Nick implores. Could Sharon and Adam not live separately - but be together the half of the week that she doesn't have Faith? If she presented a reasonable solution, it sounds like Nick would accept it. And spite/jealousy/resentment aside, can we blame him for not wanting his daughter around her kidnapper? Adam's fled town many times - who's to say he won't take Sharon and Faith with him the next time? No - Sharon doesn't see things as Nick does - nor does she see things from the perspective of EVERY other person in town who's commented (including the unbiased opinion of Kay; who asked if she was 'stupid') ... Nikki and Deacon? Not sure about the chemistry - and when talking about 'that bitch' Meggie, shouldn't Deacon have fessed up to HIS role in getting Nikki back on the bottle? Nikki does look good lately (even if she's out of practice undoing buttons) ... Diane really IS sumthin. Father AND son? I believe that feat was last accomplished by Jill (at least Diane's not Nick's step mommy - right now). Nice to see a woman wearing something other than a black bra and panty set under their clothes - but what if Nick decides to pop by his Dad's and gets an eyeful through the window? That might have an effect on Di and Nick's 'friendship' ... And what if Kyle comes home? ... Phyllis refers to Sharon as 'blondie' - as if HER hair colour's natural. Haven't Billy or Phyllis considered how uploading the only evidence against Sharon might impact the case against her? Is it worth Billy being sent to jail (to once again protect a source)? That 10 second clip went 'viral'? Come ON ... Why on earth would Jack consider going into business with Adam? Wasn't he lead to believe that Skye was the one with the 'midas touch'? ... You better have a thick skin sister, Adam tells Sharon. Nope - but she has an awfully thick skull .. No - Skye wouldn't be a 'crispy critter' if it weren't for Victor - but longtime viewers will remember that Sasha Green wouldn't be a crispy critter if it weren't for Phyllis ... Phyllis has a source at the station? Was this friendship forged during one of her many arrests? ... Diane's easy to talk to ... easy to be with. Heck - she's just plain 'easy'.
