In their Hawaiian hotel room, there's no time for play (even though Phyllis looks 'incredible) - the mission is to find out what happened to Skye (and find someone who saw Victor there). Jack's sure his pal at the general store will crack. Nick calling, and not getting any answers, he assumes Phyllis is digging up dirt on Sharon (regardless of how it might effect Noah). Gotta go, he hangs up without hearing Phyllis' explanation.

The other part to the investigative team is at Sharon's (who finds it ironic that her future lies in Phyllis' hands). She moans a bit about the cops charging her. Nick calls - Faith's having trouble sleeping. Of course Sharon can come over to help (as encouraged by Adam; have fun). Now alone, Adam goes online (everyone thinks Skye's dead - but he'll fix that).

All wait at GCM for word on the transplant. Impatient, Jill's not willing to go home and grieve for Cane. Oh, how wonderful Chance is. Heather assures that 'those bastards' who tried to kill him will be behind bars soon (so he can come home). Chris agrees - the case looks good. Paul and Heather off for coffee, Jill, over her initial anger, thanks Chris for bringing Chance back. The Murphy's arrive - Kay forgiven for keeping the secret from Murphy. Nina's also apologizing; to Chloe (who 'gets' that she had no choice). She's not angry - she's numb. Nina assures that Chloe will get to talk to Chance after surgery. But why oh why haven't they heard anything?

Finding the general store closed, Phyllis hangs her flyer (asking that anyone on the December 29th hike contact her; reward). Jack pulls his phone out - maybe he DOES have a way to reach Koa.

Home alone, Adam's tapping away on the laptop - looking for the money he's sure Skye stashed somewhere. All he needs is one measly account.

At the tackhouse, 'Mama' reads a bedtime story to Faith. And now she'll tuck her in, sing her a song. All smiles, Nick gives Faith a high five. But his smile's replaced by a worried sigh as Sharon takes Faith upstairs.

Paul and Heather back with coffee, Chloe takes a soda - and some of Heather's time (to thank her for telling her about Ronan and Chance - and wonder what she plans to do about the familiar 'two brothers, one girl' problem). Not now, Heather walks off.

Rejoining Chris and Nina, Paul hands his girlfriend her favourite chocolate bar - and a pep talk. Oh, the good times ahead; hockey games, dinners - with Chance AND Ronan - Nina's whole family together. Ah the joy).

The Murphy's lounging, Jill's on the phone with Collin (no need to come to the hospital). Murphy off for a stroll, Jill and Kay clasp hands to jointly pray for both boys; and Nina too. Give them the future they were robbed of. Amen.

Determined not to give up on Skye, Adam suddenly gets an idea and leaps onto the laptop. He both finds and accesses her account. You WERE really socking it away partner, he grins and types - can't let the cash go to waste.

Rejoining Nick, Sharon grumbles - Faith kept waking up - afraid she'd disappear. Kid needs her mother. Nick's sorry it must be this way (and Sharon knows why) - not like he's enjoying this. He's called the therapist. She doesn't need a therapist - she needs ME, Sharon gripes. Nick encourages Sharon to call to arrange time with Faith tomorrow. Thinking he's giving Sharon a heads up, Nick's surprised to learn that Phyllis (and Jack) are in Hawaii to help her.

Jack gets a warm greeting from Chester (who immediately hits on Phyllis). Both are unpleasantly surprised to hear that Koa close up the store and took off - it's for sale.

Kay's happy that Chloe's with them at GCM - but why hasn't she checked in with Kevin? Did you two break up?! Chloe really doesn't want to talk about it. Meanwhile, Nina and Jill share a chuckle - both knowing there's 76 ceiling tiles in this waiting room. Jill reassures that fate wouldn't dare be cruel enough to take Chance or Ronan, not so soon after Cane. Chris gathers all for Dr Nate's update - Chance's part of the surgery went perfectly. His liver's now being transplanted into Ronan. All are relieved with the news thus far.

Adam's running conversation continues. Now - to link a credit card to Skye's account (with one of her old aliases; Grace Harwood).

Jack learns that Koa won the lottery - enough so he never has to work again. He's off to California. Invited to check out the waves tonight, Jack will try to make it. They're then left to put the pieces together. The pilot disappears - then the only guy who saw Sharon and Skye came into a fortune and disappeared. What a coincidence.

Sharon explains the tenuous alliance. Phyllis is looking for the next big scoop - which is OK (if it clears her). Jack? He and Skye were friends. Nick really hopes it works. If he means it, Sharon could use his help.

Given the OK to visit Chance, Nina runs to visit her hero son. Groggy, Chance asks how Ronan is. Still in surgery, is the answer. And now, Chance would like his next visitor sent in; Chloe.

Nina updates all. And as Kay and Jill bicker over who gets to visit next, Chloe's sent in (much to Jill's surprise). Heather understands - Chance and Chloe didn't get to speak before surgery - it's her turn.

Chloe chides Chance - SHE'S supposed to be the dramatic one. Yes, she was mad that he went to that warehouse - blamed herself etc. Chance couldn't risk the lives of the people he loved. He has to protect them from Pomerantz. Chloe can forgive him for that - but not the 'scruff'. Chance groans - please don't make me laugh.

In the hallway, Heather doesn't think Chance needs rescuing from Chloe. Cricket? She's talking to security. But as Nina starts to fret, Chris returns - with Philip (who's welcomed home with hugs from all).

Phillip's home to help with Cane's situation (and is sorry to hear it's too late - he died saving Lily and the kids). In Chance's room, Chloe leaves when Nina brings Philip in.

Jack and Phyllis are both on their phones - looking for info on Kao's lottery win. Jack puts strategy aside to discuss their evening plans (which will start with some kissing).

Still making good use of his time alone (and online), Adam sets up a post office box for Grace Harwood - in Paris; the only place in Europe that's open 24/7/365.

At the tackhouse, Nick ends a call - to hear Sharon out. He's 'pretty sure' she didn't kill Skye, but how can he help? Sharon knows he's suspicious of Victor's denials (and so gets Nick to check on the one trip he hasn't verified yet - while Sharon and Skye were in Hawaii. He leaves a message for Louis in Colorado.

Tap tap tap - Adam uses Grace Harwood's credit card to order perfume to the new post office box in Paris. That oughtta get someone's attention, he grins.

Also happy, Jack and Phyllis spoon naked in bed. Both get calls. Jack's learned that Koa didn't win the lottery. Phyllis has no news either - Skye could be living in a shack in the mountains - or surfing.

Getting a call from Louis, Nick asks about Victor's trip out there for New Year's. Louis didn't actually see Victor - he gave the staff the night off. Nobody actually saw him in the Colorado home. Where was he? Sharon wonders - and why hide it?

Back at GCM, the Murphy's manage to get rid of Ester (on the phone). Dr Nate comes out worried - where's Ms Webster? He interrupts her (and Philip's) visit with Chance (Heather there too). Ronan? Sorry - he's gone, Dr Nate informs.

Next: Do you want your ring back? Baby, are we over? a worried Sophia asks the grumpy Malcolm ... I don't enjoy keeping things from my husband, but Chance's safety comes first, Jill tells Chloe .. Cane's death - was my fault, Sophia cries to Neil.

My Thoughts: Odd to see Jill and Nina getting along - they should be bickering over the number of ceiling tiles ... NOW Sharon's worried about what 'all this' is doing to Faith? And of course she wouldn't recommend a therapist for Faith (who just needs her Mommy - and her Mommy's swell boyfriend) ... Of course Phyllis knows Elvis - they were born the same year ;-) ... If Kao wants to sell his store, he might want to put a 'for sale' sign beside the 'closed' sign ... Jack and Phyllis should be in Hawaii right now? How's that? It's an 11 hour flight (never mind the 2 hour pre flight check in). Yet - never mind jet lag or anything, Jack and Phyllis have already toured Hawaii, gone back and had sex before Chance and Ronan are done their 6-12 hour surgery. Sure DID take Sharon a long time to put Faith to bed ... Oh yeah - Skye sure DID like to spread it around (and by 'it', Adam means 'her legs') ... The good will between Heather and Chloe sure didn't last long. But why WOULD Chloe all but ask which brother Heather was gonna choose? is she planning to scoop up whichever one's leftover? Besides, yesterday - it appeared Heather had chosen Ronan (who's hand she held while Chance lay on his bed beside Ronan's) ... Lucky for Nina, her favourite chocolate's sold in the hospital's vending machine. You'd think someone who lived in a billionaire's home would be privy to chocolate imported from Switzerland ... Nice that Paul and Heather have enough money to spend a small fortune at the vending machine. Why can't Chloe buy her own diet soda? Who ordered that anyway? ... How on earth would Adam so easily find out that there's only one box office place open 24/7 in the whole of Europe (which I highly doubt). And of all the numbers in the address, he can only say '7' in French? Why bother at all? Nice to see Adam back to his scheming ways. How foolish poor Sharon will be made to look one of these days. But if she can forgive him for kidnapping her daughter for 6 months, it'd be kinda hard to get pissed at him for the small stuff, like lying, cheating, leaving the toilet seat up etc. .. Way to go Dr Nate - or maybe it's Dr Death JR. You really are a chip off the old block (Dr Liv was always killing people off too) ... Why would anyone believe that Ronan's really dead? Kay was dead and came back - Philip was dead - and came back (after 20+ years!) Chance was dead and came back (and this is just those presently at the hospital!).
