Dropping by Victor's office, Mike finds him deep in thought - about Nick joining his greedy sisters (apparently not giving a rats @ss about the many employees he'll have to lay off),. Off to depose Nick, Mike reports that Abby doesn't seem as gung ho as the other two - at least that's sumthin' to think about (which is exactly what Victor's left to do)

Ashley visits a depressed Abby. Oh, the look on Victor's face when he realized Nick was against him too - just horrible. Her father's losing everything he cares about - and it's all Abby's fault *sniffle*

Meanwhile, Nikki (newspaper in hand) confronts Nick (at NE). It's true? He's joined the lawsuit? she clearly disapproves. Never mind Nick's meeting with Mike, we're going to Victor's office to discuss it. Nicholas! Nikki snaps repeatedly at his retreating back - then slams into Victor's office - this insanity has to stop. The only insanity Victor wants to stop is Nikki barging in on him all the time. Now, show yourself out! he yanks open the door.

Coming out in his boxers and T-shirt, Kevin rubs sleep from his eyes as he finds Jana packing. Tired of feeling sorry for herself, Jana's in a great mood - and off to start a 'new adventure'.

Thanks for hiring a crazy stalker as your nanny, Chloe's at RS to confront the Abbott's. Yeah, she's good with kids, when she's not boiling bunnies. But they've got more important things to worry about - like all the publicity about Nick joining the lawsuit. 'Someone' ought to alert the public to the family dynamics. Vikki warns that retaliating in RS will only piss off the judge. Vikki leaving to get Jana settled in, Billy observes Chloe (as she flashes back to Chance's cab ride proposal). Nothing's wrong, she lies.

Heather finds 'big guy' overdoing it. Take it easy - you only have half a liver, she reminds. Chance looks forward to facing Pomerantz in court (and sending him to jail for his crimes). At least *something* good will come out of his return to GC (since his brother wasn't exactly grateful). IF he conned them, Heather can add Ronan's name to the list of losers she's hooked up with (causing Chance to wonder if HE'S on the list).

So, does Heather regret getting involved with Chance? Why would he promise he'd come back to her? If he knew he was entering the witness protection program forever? WHEN was that supposed to make her 'feel better'? Oh, how much she lost. Chance barks back - with only 24 hours notice, he couldn't very well prepare 'good bye' speeches for everyone. Whatever she feels SHE lost, he lost MORE. Heather seems totally stunned by his outburst.

Questioning Chloe's mood, Billy immediately guesses it's due to Chance (who broke her heart, then 'died'). His unwanted advice? Stop living in the past. Let go of the baggage and move on. Chloe admits he's right - then warns him against his plan to go after Victor in the next issue. Just leave the editorial's to the guy who signs your paycheck.

Across the table from Nick and Leslie, Mike wants to speak to Nick alone (and after Leslie steps out), wonders why he's doing this. 'Off the record', Nick rants about Victor hurting people he claims to love (and getting a pass for it). What about all the employees losing their jobs. Nick cares - but can't keep enabling his father. But, everything the Newman's have worked for will be destroyed, Mike warns. I hope you've thought this through (he leaves Nick to think).

Back in Victor's office, Nikki asks him to swallow his pride - put his family back together (before they're gone for good!)

Heather's never heard Chance talk like this before (which causes another rant - about being alone in a strange town). Chloe arrives to huff at Heather - whichver brother's in town she just gloms onto huh? Leaving, Heather looks at the work Chloe brought ('Newman lawsuit piece') In the hallway, she calls Mike with a heads up on Billy and Vikki's plan to attack Victor in RS.

Victor snaps back at Nikki - he built the company for his family, his kids. They should wait til he's 6 feet under before cashing in. It sickens him to talk this way about his flesh and blood. Nikki warns that he won't have the company OR his children. So be it, Victor snarls. You'll regret this! she slams out.

As Ashley and Abby pore over a photo album, Abby tears up, relaying Mike's words (about losing another father). Ashley delivers a pep talk. And rewarded with an invitation to move back in, reminds that she's getting married soon. Oh yeah - no biggie - thanks for stopping by. Love you. Love you too.

Arriving as summoned, Nick confirms that Victor did indeed ask him to drop out of the lawsuit. Are you? Vikki wonders.

Well, I guess this is 'good bye'. Yes, Jana's gonna be OK - absolutely, She won't fall apart - she's not 'that girl' anymore. Both are glad they can talk 'like this' ~hug~ Take care, they exchange. On the other side of the door, Jana's smile quickly falls off her face.

Yes - it MIGHT kill Chloe to get along with Heather. She's trying to trust a man again - living with Kevin, but keeping Chance's secret. She only wanted to live happily ever after. But now, must relive everything. It was easier when he was dead!Technically, I am - you got your wish, Chance hops out of bed - as Heather returns to stare.

Ashley's next stop is Victor's office - to say that Abby feels she's lost both her father's. Victor's dealing with Nick joining his greedy sisters. THEY aren't Ashley's concern, Abby is - and she's falling apart.

Nick wonders if he acted too impulsively, The share fond childhood memories, but then we grew up - Dad couldn't handle it. However the lawsuit goes, their relationship with Victor may be over. But Vikki can't live under his control. Nick's still 'in' for the duration - Dad's pulled too much crap, told too many lies. Nikki then arrives - glad to find them both there, somebody has to have the sense to end this lawsuit!

When Heather denies she walked in on anything, Chloe claims she's not jealous. Good - there's no reason to be. Chloe's frustrated at the situation is all. As they relate over the complications of Chance being alive,Chance interrupts them in the hallway - asking both to 'go'.

Mike, at RS, leans over Billy's computer - aware that he plans to slam Victor again (which won't help his wife's case with the Judge). Threatening to file a cease and desist order, Mike's invited to 'take a peek'. Reading, he's surprised it's nothing to do with the Newman's - or the lawsuit. Right, they don't need his help now - but when they do, Billy will write an editorial that'll bury the bastard.

Yes, Ashley wants Victor to go to Abby - reassure her she still has a father. Recalling her Naked Heiress stunts, both chuckle. Ashley insists that Abby merely wanted to make her father proud. Victor admires her passion and drive (much like HIM when he was young). A piece of him is missing. See? You need her too, Ashley concludes.

Nikki's still fired up - the kids succeeding in getting their trust funds will leave NE, the family and Victor ruined. Vikki doesn't understand why Nikki cares. Nick concurs - he's a bully. Nikki doesn't condone Victor's behavior - but when this war is over, they won't like what they see.

Continuing, Nikki blames it all on her drinking. But, she's here now. There's nothing you can do, Vikki protests. Nikki scolds them for dismantling everything Victor built. Nick can quite NE if wants - and Vikki can go back to Italy. Anything is better than this. Running away won't prevent Dad from ruining our lives, Vikki whines (while Nick too wants to 'break free' of Victor, just like Nikki did).

Now at CL's, Ashley chides Mike (for using Brad's memory to pressure Abby to drop the lawsuit). He doesn't care about Abby - just wants to chalk up another victory. Mike knows the scars left by not having a father - and come to think of it, YOU know that too.

Still on the sofa, Abby mopes over a framed photo of her and Victor (who getting a 'go away' when knocking, saunters in through the back door). C'mere baby, he extends his arms (which Abby runs into sobbing). How did it get this far? Don't worry - Daddy's here now, Victor coos.

Chloe didn't mean what she said before. Doesn't matter - once this trial's over, Chance goes back to being dead. Erase the last coupla weeks? Heather's horrified - it's NOT 'what's best' for HER. Chloe can't erase it either. It's all back (including her anger at Chance cheating with Heather). Yeah, well, obviously Chance didn't love Chloe (or he wouldn't have cheated). And since he and Heather 'never got off the ground', it's no big loss, now is it? No big loss? Heather balks. Live your lives as you have been, Chance growls. You got it! Heather scurries out (leaving Chloe to snap - what happened to you??) And with a disappointed glare, she too slams out - and into Kevin. Surprise - but what is she doing in Chance's room?

Baggage in hand, Billy's new nanny reports for duty (at RS). OK - Billy's just finishing up - then will take her to her new home. Delia's all excited. Ready? Jana can't wait. Billy has NO idea how important this is to her.

Easily buying Chloe's lie (that she was looking for a photo for Nina), Kevin's excited to report that Jana moved out. Let's go get some food and celebrate. As they exit quickly, Chance peeks his head out into the hallway.

Pulling way from Victor, Abby doesn't think he's supposed to be there. Victor just wants to protect her - to ensure she (Nick and Vikki) don't go down the wrong path. Both wishing for a do-over, Victor suggests they stop all this nonsense - think of how close they could be again. Wouldn't that be wonderful? ~hug~ Assuring that his offer to settle still stands - and that he loves Abby with all his heart, Victor leaves her to think.

Nikki's still at it - she didn't set out to ruin Victor. Neither are Vikki or Nick. Nikki pleads with them to fix this - do it for me. Sorry, we can't, Vikki stands firm. Nicholas? He'd do anything for Mom - but not this. He's in it til the end. Nikki clip clopping out, brother and sister are left to hug.

Next: Daniel confides to Lily - I know where my baby is .... I think you're beautiful, Neil leans in - about to kiss the nervous looking Sophia ...Nick grabs Phyllis' arm (to stop her from walking off) - then looks at her lips (like he wants to kiss em).

My Thoughts: Kinda funny to hear Chloe refer to Jana as a stalker - to Billy (as he frequently used that same word to describe or insult HER) ... How exactly is living over the Abbott's garage and taking care of their kids an 'adventure'? ... Why on earth would Chance be in a wheelchair for the trial? He's making a remarkably fast recovery. My stepson had half his liver removed in September - and for the first 3 days, was unable to walk unassisted (and unable to eat snickerdoodles). Plus, his bandage (covering 132 staples) was higher and twice the size of the fresh one covering Chance's incision. DR Nate IS good. Chance was even able to get out of his bed unassisted (his regular bed, not a hospital bed) ... Really Heather - it isn't all about YOU. And the 'list of losers' she's hooked up with will include EVERY man she's hooked up with. They've all been losers; a sociopath - a cheater, and his shady brother ... Nice that Ashley still has a key - to the home Abby unceremoniously evicted her from. Does Victor have a key too? Why is there no security at the prestigious Carlton Manor, now home to the famous Naked Heiress? How could Abby not hear someone accessing her home and sneaking up on her? ...Since the Newman's are once again all over the press, you'd think the receptionist posted outside Victor's office would be a bit more diligent. Shouldn't she be checking with the boss BEFORE visitors just march into the CEO's office? ... I hadda rewind - I thought Billy told Chloe not to be an ass (which is good advice) - but he said 'stop living in the past'. Put a beard and black do-rag on a guy and he goes all bad ass.
