Today's Spoiler

I love my kids. I love my kids. Nick and Vikki (at her place) scoff at the various published interviews (all granted to hand-picked Victor 'worshippers'). Nick's happy to hear that Billy will be counter acting the 'fawning' (as his plan with Sharon didn't go as planned). Vikki's sorry to hear that Adam, the loser, (who smelled like he was 'tanked') punched Nick (who then leaves). Done his article, Billy hands the laptop to Vikki (who reads what amounts to be comparison of Victor - to the marvellous John Abbott).

At home, Victor reads the article on his phone (aloud to Kay) - Victor Newman meddled in custody agreements - and had his daughter arrested on her wedding day. It's not the kind of love Billy grew up with. Victor has given him a road map of what NOT to do as a parent. Kay can certainly understand why Victor's upset - but can't help but be touched that Billy's honouring his father. Plus, the article seems accurate enough. Victor won't be shamed (by being compared to a man he respected). And he never wanted 'this' to happen.

Neil marches into the club to tell Tucker that he's taking a day off - to get involved in the arbitration. Detecting that Neil's not happy about it, Tucker's always willing to lend an ear.

Meanwhile, on the CL's patio, Abby gripes about having to sit across the table from Adam (who gets off on creeping her out). When Mike arrives, Abby leaves him to join Ashley (who chides him for hanging his entire case on someone as devious as Adam).

At home, Adam's suffering a headache. Yes, he thought about what Sharon said last night - but he can't trust Victor. He paid my bail - knows I didn't kill Skye, Sharon reminds - No WAY will Victor let her go to jail, she's confident. Adam disagrees - sometimes Sharon sees good where there is NONE. Are we talking about Victor? or you? Sharon's asking that Adam be the man she knows he can be. Have Faith. Speaking of Faith, Sharon's off to see Nick and her daughter. This is the last day of arbitration - everyone's lives will be changed forever, Sharon concludes ominously as she exits.

Back on the patio, Ashley continues to chide Mike for teaming up with the man who stole a baby. Mike knows what he's dealing with. Ashley won't let Adam take everything from Abby (like he almost did with her).

Inside CL's, Abby snarls at Adam (the brother she hates). How could Sharon choose Sharon over Nick? As she sneers and hisses, Ashley comes in to declare Adam a waste of time (then lead Abby out). Mike approaches Adam to empathize (and warn him not to back out).

Vikki continues to read Billy's article - John Abbott would consider Victor's behaviour abusive. Read the rest, Billy encourages. Vikki does - John Abbott had flaws ......

Now on a park bench, Victor continues to read aloud also; the only time John Abbott used his fists (on Victor - who's shady business dealings inadvertently caused Ashley to lose her baby) - leads to a flashback of the incident. Billy's article states that words mean nothing - basically, Victor's actions don't prove his claims that he loves his kids. Victor then overhears Nick and Sharon arriving (at Summer's favourite swing set). Thanked (for time with Faith), Nick walks off - leaving Sharon to weep n whine to Faith. Returning, Nick announces it's time to go (as Victor continues to eavesdrop).

Billy's long winded article finally concludes. He works hard every day to live up to his father, while his wife works to live down hers. Vikki's moved to tears - it's beautiful - and true. Billy holding Lucy in his arms (at 2 a.m.) inspired him to hold off on attacking Victor (who must have held Vikki in his lap once upon a time). He called me the apple of his eye, Vikki sniffles - now, I'm a disappointment to him. Billy wishes he could give her back her Daddy. I love you, they embrace tightly.

As Victor continues to eavesdrop, Nick rejects Sharon's suggestion (that he leave Faith with her) - not after the way Adam was last night. In tears, Sharon dreads saying good bye (if she's sent to prison). Nick wishes he could make things easier for her. After bidding Faith 'good bye', a tortured Sharon watches Nick wheel her away. Victor appears - you'll be alright, he assures (then turns and leaves).

Back at CL's, Mike gets a call from Victor. Never mind court - he's to get to the ranch - now.

With Tucker at the club, Neil does indeed have important information (that could effect the outcome of the lawsuit). It'll piss Victor (and possibly Kay) off. Tucker knows Neil's a man of integrity - if he needs to speak out, he must have sound reason.

Returning to the tackhouse, Nick finds Adam outside. What do YOU want? Adam comes in peace - and has nowhere else to turn.

Wished good luck, Vikki and Abby leave for the arbitration. That leaves Ashley to gush over Billy's touching tribute to Daddy. Seems he's finally grown up ~hug~

At the ranch, Mike's surprised (and not in a good way) when Victor announces his plans to tell the DA that he was in Hawaii the night Skye died.

Meanwhile, Sharon returns to an empty house. Picking the angel statue up, she wonders where Adam is - we need to talk about Victor.

Back at the tackhouse, Adam has a proposition for Nick. He recants his testimony IF Sharon gets her parental rights back. Nick balks at him again using Faith (whom Sharon can see every day - if Adam will do the selfless thing; leave). Prove you love Sharon - get on the first bus out of GC and don't come back, Nick challenges.

Kay joins Tucker at the club (as he too reads Billy's article). His point of view is a bit skewed, but Kay found the article on John Abbott 'touching'. She's also touched (if not a bit leery) when Tucker invites her to join him for breakfast.

Admitting that she and Tucker haven't discussed the wedding, Ashley's reluctant to talk about it. Tucker's a good man - but he sometimes reminds her of Victor. Ashley then gets a call from Neil (who needs to see her regarding the arbitration).

You were in Hawaii? On the volcano - with Sharon and Skye? Mike wonders who else knows. Victor hasn't admitted it to anyone (though some suspect). He saw Sharon and Skye's confrontation - and Sharon trying to save Skye (who must have slipped). It was dark, but Victor heard it all - it wasn't murder. He tried desperately to get there in time - but it was too late. Sharon was gone - Skye too. Warned against fessing up before the arbitration is over, Victor insists on going to the DA - today.

Adam peeks in at Sharon - then sits down outside to loosen his tie etc.. Drinking from a little bottle of booze, he douses himself as if it's cologne. Hands on her hips, Sharon starts 'nagging' as he staggers in. Are you drunk again? Adam sure seems to be. Oh, he doesn't doubt Sharon's love for him - but isn't sure he ever really loved her.

First to arrive, Abby's ranting about her run in with Adam (knowing she got to him when she said he'd ruin Sharon's life). Abby doubts he'll recant (lying is all he knows how to do). Vikki hopes they've at least shaken Adam's confidence (in trusting Dad).

Playing his role well, Adam slurs that he never loved Sharon - he just didn't want Nick to win. You don't mean that, Sharon blinks denial. What about New Orleans etc? No - she won't believe it. Shut up - stop being an idiot, Adam babbles. After Sharon grabs her coat and exits, Adam's hands cover his face. I'm so sorry Sharon, he agonizes.

Now's not the time for this, Mike barks - then fires questions. Did Victor help Skye disappear? Did he frame Adam? Think of the charges - conspiracy - obstruction. It's suicide! And there's a billion dollar ruling yet to be made. Looking weary, Victor's heart would be broken if his granddaughter lost her mother. He can't put his happiness before theirs. Pointing his finger, Mike guesses that Billy's article got to him. Victor points his finger too - No one tells me I don't love my family. And as Victor walks out (Mike scrambles behind).

Thanked for breakfast, Tucker would now like to discuss his wedding. Yes, the Murphy's would be honoured to host his wedding. And Kay now feels there may be hope for their mother/son relationship after all.

Meeting Neil at CL's, Ashley's surprised he's already spoken to Tucker about the arbitration. And when Neil explains that he may have proof that Adam lied, Ashley encourages him to come forward - right now.

As an animated Billy talks to Lucy (about his article being a big hit) - he wishes John could see her. Et Voila! John appears - to correct one aspect of the article; Billy's a great father.

As Vikki and Abby wait for Nick, Mike's leaving an urgent 'call me' message for Heather. Joining the ladies, Mike assures that Victor and Adam will be there soon. Meanwhile, Victor's outside the DA's office - with information about the night Skye died.

Heading to the arbitration, Nick's surprised to find Sharon outside the tackhouse. It's Adam, Sharon blurts out - then gravitates into Nick's arms. Meanwhile, Adam's buying a one way ticket - anywhere - as long as it's out of GC.

Next: On the patio, Sophia seems to be taunting Neil - is that the only reason you went to bat for me? Because we slept together? .... Later, Malcolm's in the same seat Neil was in earlier. I want to be the only man in your life. Baby, I wanna marry you, he tells Sophia ... Chance lectures Chloe - Maybe - if you would just take a step back - your life wouldn't suck so much.

My Thoughts: Mumbling just like dear old Dad, I'm not sure - but I think Nick went to see if the park's public restroom was working. No one every goes to the bathroom in GC - yet Nick can't hold it til he gets home? .... Odd that there's no evidence of Adam's punch on Nick's face - maybe the make up department had the day off? ... Billy sure wrote his article at breakneck speed. When did he take a creative writing course? And doesn't Phyllis do all the web uploading? .... Love how Kay tells it to Victor like it is (saying Billy's article was accurate) - and it's good that Victor feels 'shamed' - too bad the other guilty parties (who sit across from him at the arbitration) don't feel any shame ... With the Newman's all over the press - I still find it unlikely that Victor and Nick are both able to walk to the park without being swarmed by paparazzi .... Neil 'tracked Tucker down' - to tell him that he's taking a 'personal day'. If he'd just called Tucker (and Ashley), he wouldn't be wasting half his day off tracking people down ... Sharon is starting to sound like a bit of a nag - can't blame Adam for skipping town. Hopefully he showered and changed his clothes before leaving. Does she really believe Adam would get drunk during the breakfast hours? ... How is Sharon charged with FIRST degree murder anyway? Don't you need proof of intent to kill and premeditation to prosecute that? Why didn't Leslie at least plea it down to manslaughter? ... Sharon sure has nerve - Nick's is the last shoulder she should be crying on (because Adam left her) ... Isn't Mike (as an officer of the court) obligated to come forward with pertinent information regarding a crime? (instead of warning Victor not to come forward)? .... It was comical to see old John Abbott with his fists clenched - come on you son of a bitch! (guess Victor's security team were lax even back then) ... Why is Billy writing an article with Lucy in his lap. Wasn't that the purpose of putting Jana above the garage? ... Nick can't leave Faith at the park with Sharon - because of the way Adam was? But - Adam's not THERE Nick... Abby has quite an ego - thinking Adam 'gets off' on 'creeping her out'. I don't think Adam gives a rats ass about Abby ... Um - isn't Adam contradicting himself? How can Sharon have 'shared full custody' - it's either one or the other, shared OR full custody, not both ... I'm kinda surprised - that a busy and powerful businessman like Tucker would have nothing better to do that read Billy's fashion tabloid blog. And if Tucker 'hates to eat alone', why wouldn't he just throw some waffles in the toaster or sumthin, instead of going all the way over to the club - to eat alone .... Victor 'desperately' tried to get to Sharon and Skye in time? Huh? Way I remember it, he was just hangin' out - listening.
