Visiting his client, Vance tells Sharon that her trying to leave the country sure won't help her case. Not wanting to hear her story, Vance won't let the truth get in the way of a good defense. And now - to get Sharon something presentable to wear. Except there's no one to ask - she's the town pariah.

Phyllis calls Billy from Thailand (where Adam was identified by the pilot who flew him to a small village). Great - cause Billy can get some serious ad dollars with headlines on Adam. Now also in the small town, Phyllis is determined to find Adam .....

....who's awakening from being knocked out (flashing back to how he came to be that way). Sharon camera - it's gone - dammit Koa (who's nowhere to be seen).

At the ranch, Mike and Diane exchange a few pleasantries - before Diane leaves Mike to tell Victor that there's no grounds for an appeal (he's exhausted every possible option). His advice? Don't drag it on. And give the kids 1.5 billion!? Victor barks. Mike has more advice - selling BofN will have the least effects on his other holding). Victor points his finger as he barks some more - no way his kid's are dictating the terms of this settlement!

CL's is holding a Walnut Grove fundraiser. ON the patio, Nick thanks Vikki for coming (as Summer now attends WG). Vikki again pressures him to go along with her plan to get BofN (and merge it with Jabot). Just look at these sales figures. Nick has no interest in BofN - and has no desire to work for Tucker. With his money, Nick plans to invest - he's got his eye on some 'start ups'. BofN is 'boring crap' - Nick's cashing out now.

Nikki replaces the tiny bottles in her mini bar - then puts all the candy bars etc. in her purse. When the maid comes in, Nikki spins a story about breaking the lock on the mini bar - to get to the chocolate. The maid will have it fixed and give Nikki the key. No need - and no more candy for Nikki. About to exit, Nikki bumps into Deacon.

After Deacon gets rid of the maid, Nikki tries to get rid of Deacon. Go - I'm FINE. Deacon's frustrated - why can't Nikki realize how much he cares about her? He feels terrible for her; first the lawsuit - HIM letting her down - Victor marrying Diane.

Looking fabulous in fuchsia, Diane chats with some fellow WG Mom's at the fundraiser. Invited to join the parent advisory committee, Diane knows they're after her husband's money (as neither have spoken to her before). Suggesting she's too busy (being a newlywed n all), Diane leaves the ladies wearing an unflattering shade of 'oh crap - bitch sure saw through us'.

Still on the patio, Vikki continues to pressure Nick (who would be going backwards with BofN). He's excited about getting in on the ground floor of some technology based projects. Back and forth it goes - neither bending (until Vikki implies she needs protection from big bad Tucker). Abby? We'll take out a loan to buy her off, Vikki's got it all planned out (unaware that Victor's flatly refusing to hand over BofN - and that's FINAL!)

Billy joining Vikki and Nick on the patio, he hopes Nick doesn't mind him covering Sharon's trial. Fine with Nick - he's just concerned about Faith and Noah (who's so pissed off that he's refusing to come home). A father too, Billy will keep the kids in mind (and knowing his girls will meet boys like HIM at Walnut Grove, Billy jokes that they'll be home schooled). On his way out, Billy welcomes Diane to the family - buckle your seatbelt, he quips. Vikki gives Diane a frosty welcome (this charity event won't be as successful as HERS - getting her claws into Dad's money. Look who's talking about getting claws into my money, Victor arrives to snarl.

No, Nikki's NOT alone - she has family and friends to support her. Now go! Grabbing the phone, she punches buttons - the authorities would love to hear how he conspired with Meggie. Abandoning that idea, Nikki shoves Deacon out the door. Please take care of yourself. Please GET OUT! Nikki slams the door.

Sharon's now dressed in a suit. Expect a media circus, Vance warns (though he's arranged to exit and enter through back doors). Yes, the handcuffs are necessary.

Back at the Thai bar, the bartender tells Adam that he hasn't seen Koa since he poured himself into a cab last night. Adam will pay for any information on Koa (then quietly chides himself for losing the evidence). Sending a drink over to Adam, Phyllis grins at him.

Nick suggests they put their problems aside - for the fundraiser. Victor hopes HIS kids grow up to appreciate what he's done for them (implying that his don't). After Victor leads Diane out, Vikki thinks it a good thing they won - who knows how much Diane will get when she leaves Dad. She doesn't get involved with a man without a money agenda.

Sharon's out of the handcuffs - but back in her cell (and jumpsuit). Apparently, the Judge wasn't swayed by Sharon's reason. Vance points out that if Adam had evidence to help her, he'd race back. Looks like she'll be in jail until her trial - which may be a while. No! Sharon can't be away from Faith - she needs me. Sharon's in tears - realizing she messed everything up. Chin up - she has the best lawyer in the country (according to today's Times). And as Sharon's left alone to cry, Billy visits. Having witnessed the hearing, he thinks the Judge was harsh. Since Vance wouldn't give him a comment, maybe Sharon will (to build public support). Billy can get her story out there.

OK - how'd Phyllis find Adam? She followed Sharon (who's in jail for falsifying a passport to flee the country). No, Adam didn't know anything about it. He would have advised against it. No - he hasn't spoken to Sharon since leaving GC. Phyllis delights in informing Adam that a warrants been issued for his arrest (for perjury).

Bellying up to the bar, Adam explains he's in Thailand because Koa's there (and has proof that Sharon didn't kill Skye; the camera). When Phyllis doesn't believe his story, Adam grabs her hand - does this lump feel 'made up' to you? Koa was right here, Adam insists. Help or get out of the way. Where do we start? His hotel (which Adam just so happens to have a house key for). Imagine the good he could do with that brilliant mind, Phyllis muses.

Remembering the last article RS ran on her, Sharon's not buying that Billy's concerned about her. Billy persists - he'll present the facts as sympathetically as possible. He's been the outcast too - and wants to be Sharon's friend. When Vance approaches, Sharon gives Billy the OK to stay - then, is relieved that he was able to get the trial moving. Jury selection begins next week. She WILL be walking out of here - but whether it's as a free woman, or to Jackson Pen - it's anybody's guess.

Done cleaning Nikki's suite, the maid asks if there's anything else she needs. yes - the mini bar key (which is promptly handed over).

Still on the patio, Nick caves - it'd be great to work with Vikki again. Neither are happy to see Deacon (who blurts out his suspicions that Nikki's drinking again).

About to enjoy liquid sunshine from a tiny bottle, Nikki puts it back in the mini bar (and hides the key) when Vikki and Nick arrive. What a nice surprise! How's Nikki doing? Fine. Really? Neither would blame her if ..... Deacon told us you've been drinking. What!? Nikki can't believe it - he's despicable. Empty bottle on the floor? Feel free to search the room. No - we trust you, Vikki assures (while Nick threatens to beat the crap outta Deacon). No - ignore him - Nikki never wants to hear his name again - OVER!

At G-worm, Deacon congratulates Vance on his latest win as he pours his drink. Mike joins him to order coffee - and doesn't agree that an appeal's a waste of time (we've both won our share of long shots). Mike excuses himself to take a call from Victor (who summons him over). Hanging up, Victor confronts Diane - he saw the look between her and his son - stay away from him (for HIS sake).

Sharon and Billy continue to chat through the bars. She's sure he's off proving her innocence, Adam's all she's got. Jack and Phyllis? They have an agenda - Phyllis wants a story; Jack wants something on Victor. Adam's the only one fighting to prove that she didn't kill Skye. You have more help than you think you do, Billy replies.

In Koa's vacated room, Adam informs that he's paid for a coupla more nights. Good - Phyllis needs a place to stay. This room's Adam's. Phyllis won't let Adam our of her sight - looks like they're 'roomies'. Phyllis gets a message from Billy - looks like Adam's fiance is running out of options - her trial begins next week.

At G-worm, Nikki runs into 'call me Vance'. Exchanging a look with Deacon, she accepts the invitation to join him. And what will Nikki be drinking tonight? Club soda. Vance praises Vikki. She must take after her mother, he flirts. Nikki preens (eyes on Deacon).

Back on the patio, Nick and Vikki are puzzled - did Deacon just want to cause trouble? Or is Mom drinking? It'd be easier alone in the suite - no one watching. Both agree to keep an eye on her (and start a legacy of their own). Let's get BofN ~hug~

What look? Nick and I are friends, Diane insists - that's all. Kindly do as I say - stay away from my son, Victor repeats. And when Mike arrives, Victor's decided to settle things his way (which has Mike worried).

Next: Jana sits with Agnes at the diner - do you know where the baby is? she asks .... Vikki's on the phone as Billy watches on. There's a problem with the birth certificate, Vikki informs him ... At G-worm, Diane watches alone from her table as Victor stands at Nikki and Vance's - you certainly didn't trade up, did you? he quips to Nikki ... Diane's at Nick's door - What did you tell your father about us?

My Thoughts: Why would Vikki assume that Diane would be able to fleece Victor? Wouldn't she assume he had an iron clad prenup? .. Why wouldn't Walnut Grove hold it's fundraiser at Walnut Grove? ... Unless it's a private jet - or a very small charter - when are pilots EVER in contact with the passengers they transport? How tiny IS Bangkok's airport? Lucky Phyllis happened to question the one pilot who flew Adam ... Summer NOW attends Walnut Grove? it's not September - so I guess she transferred in the middle of the school year ... Faith needs me? Sharon wails. But really, isn't it the other way around? Faith's just fine with her Daddy - it's Sharon who needs the unconditional love. Odd that she never mentions Noah .. Phyllis isn't much better. Summer yet again left with Nick - so Mommy can chase Adam all over the world. You'd think Adam reminding Phyllis that she didn't raise Daniel would motivate her to go home to Summer. Instead, she and Adam are 'roomies'? .. Doesn't an 'editor in chief' delegate articles to freelance writers? Both Sharon and Phyllis are ruined characters. At least Vance looks good - fresh off his stint in Celebrity Rehab ... Did Sharon really think it'd 'work'? (to flee the country on a passport in Faith's name). Well - obviously she did (and it appears it WOULD have worked - if Phyllis hadn't interfered). Sharon was on the plane after all - it's not like her passport would be inspected again while in the air).
