Today's Spoiler

In Primrose's 'office, 'Stella' jumps pretty high - for a woman appearing ready to give birth at any moment. Don't touch me! Jana yelps (as Primrose extends her hand towards the faux baby bump).

Outside the station of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Mike calls Lauren - yes, he's sure it's Daisy (who, rest assured, will soon be back in GC's jail). No, they didn't find the kid.

In the motel room, Daniel figures a lot of people will be better off if Daisy 'escapes'. Yes, including him (top of the list). Stay away from GC, he warns. This is what we're gonna do, he says - cell phone in hand.

At the club, Victor's press conference continues (or rather, repeats). He's taking NE public. At the ranch, Kyle's amused just so happens to be planted in front of the TV - hey Mom - Victor's on TV. Diane comes over to watch Victor talk 'big words' (which Diane translates to explain that Victor will let other people, investors, have a say in the company; which will be even bigger and better). Yes, Victor will be richer.

All at the Abbott home are stunned by Victor's announcement. Jack never thought he'd live to see this day. Bastard's only doing this because he lost, Billy snipes (while Vikki's sure one of the many reporters will ask TGVN if losing the lawsuit is his motivation). Nope - Jack knows every reporter in that room was hand picked. And as Billy makes for the door, Vikki doesn't call him back. Instead, she tells him to 'nail his ass'. All whisper amongst themselves. Vikki can't believe Dad's doing this to spite them. Ashley assumes Tucker won't get BofN after all. No, but he'll take NE stock as a consolation prize. Nikki's horrified - like Jack, she never thought she'd see this day. Back to Victor - he knows his news comes as a shock - but it's the beginning of a new era for NE.

Heather steps up - Mr Newman will answer your questions now. Why go public now? Why NOT now? Back at Vikki's, Nick thinks they can get in on the IPO and gain control. It's NOT over, Vikki snaps at Abby. Damn straight, Nick agrees. It's time to counter - buying stock to add to what they already own will make them 'major players' at NE. Abby doesn't like that idea - no way - I'm done. She's taking her half billion and going home. Ashley watches as Abby stands her ground. Our father has just put an end to his life's dream, we're all rich. For her, it's done. And as Abby clip clops off, Jack's big plans are shut down by Tucker. Having failed to deliver BofN, he's fired.

All continue to watch the train wreck. Nikki can't watch any more - knowing this must be killing Victor. Agreeing, Kay can see it in his eyes. Nikki hates what this has done to the family. Over Nikki's protests, Kay will 'say her piece'. The siblings conveniently lined up, she blames them for Victor's downfall - and instead of remorse, they're circling like sharks. That man is your FATHER! He hurt you? Take a damn good look at what you've done to HIM. Shame on you - all of you! Nikki chases after her - wait! Vikki stalls Nikki - Mom - you think she's right? Nikki just wants it to stop - your father came to the Christening - it's YOUR move, she runs out after Kay.

Oh look - Billy's now on TV - surprised that none of the inept reporters have asked the 'obvious' question. Victor's taking the company public while owing his kids 1.5 billion - why would he turn down an offer to keep NE out of the hands of strangers? He'd rather go public than give the kids what they want? The three kids watch the TV - waiting for Victor to answer.

On the doorstep, Nikki's touched that Kay stood up for Victor - not many would do that (then scurries off when Tucker and Ashley come out). Tucker has a way to help Victor - and themselves - pool resources to buy NE stock. Victor can pay the kids off - they'll own a piece of the competition. Kay chuckles - join forces in a scheme to destroy her life long friend? Go to hell! Take your plan to fool an old fool with you!

Yes, Mr Abbott - Victor's kids DID present him with an offer - a ridiculous one. The children were, unfortunately, misguided by people of questionable character. Victor loves is kids - and is sad they aren't with him - to embark upon this exciting journey; this new phase of NE. Thank you Mr Abbott, Victor walking off puts an end to further questions.

The mood is glum at the Abbott home. And nobody lived happily ever after, Jack pouts - then talks to Abby's back. Oh, so NOW he's worried about her? Jack admits he had his own agenda - but nothing's right if he's alienated his family. He never meant to hurt her. Abby knows - and his advice DID net her 500 mil. Hearing that Jack's been fired, Abby's furious - wanting to smack the stupid retro glasses off his face.

Vikki grumbles to Nick (who blames Diane for indicating that Victor was gonna give them BofN). No, he didn't misunderstand - perhaps she lied (and off he goes to find out).

Heading off to watch a hockey game a pal's place, Kyle wonders if Victor getting richer means Mom gets richer too. Well, Diane won't need to stress out over paying bills anymore ~hug~

Jana apologizes - but gets freaked out when people touch her. Hmm- Primrose wonders how she got pregnant then. Offering 5K for her baby, Primrose assures it'll go to a good home. Jana has trouble trusting a woman who conducts business in a golf shed. Can't she meet the parents? No? A picture then? She must know SOMETHING about the adoptive parents. Get out and don't come back, Primrose holds the door open, clearly fed up.

Back with a Mountie, Mike's stunned when Daniel informs him that Daisy escaped. The bathroom window's wide open, the clever Mountie announces. You let her go to the bathroom alone!? Mike can't believe his ears. Relax - Daniel then admits he let her go. He slipped his cell phone in her pocket - and can track her with his laptop. Daniel then explains that his #1 priority is finding his daughter - this'll work. Let's go - now! Mike orders (as Daniel follows, laptop bag over his shoulder).

Jana backpeddals - please give me another chance. She's just scared, alone - broke - no other options. Primrose closes the door. OK - she'll need to see a DR to ensure everything's in order. Jana just saw a DR this morning. Not trying to be difficult, Jana doesn't like strangers touching her - so, will bring the medical records/sonogram. OK - maybe Primrose will help. Now, get outta here (which Jana does).

At the ranch, Nick confronts Diane - what did Victor offer her (for convincing him that he was gonna hand over BofN)? Rewarded with a slap across the face, Nick chuckles - truth hurts huh. Diane heard him talking to Mike - had no idea Victor was taking NE public. Yeah, well - Nick had to watch the big 'screw you' on TV. Diane looks hurt - why would I do that? As his wife, a victory for Victor is a victory for HER. If only Nick had listened to everyone - clearly she IS the person everyone accuses her of being. As he marches back out, Diane's left looking wounded.

At the club, Tucker's not overly concerned about his relationship with his mother (or lack thereof). Ashley's the only woman he needs in his life. He toasts his number one lady - and having fired Jack, she's about to be top dog. Ashley's not sure she can celebrate that victory. On cue, Jack appears with Abby - 'celebrating'? As Tucker goes for a refill (Abby joining him), Jack sits himself down - wondering how's Ashley's gonna get his job back. She's not.

At the bar, Abby tells Tucker he's an ass - and her Mom will be just as pissed as she is - unless he rehires Jack - NOW.

On a laptop at CL's, Jana searches for images of a 32 week ultrasound image. Perfect. Next - full medical record.

Back at the bar, Tucker admires Abby's spunk. He might be marrying her Mom, but if Tucker knew what family meant, he wouldn't have fired her Uncle Jack. You're an idiot - AND a jerk! Abby stomps off.

Wow - this guy really HAS gotten to Ashley - she can't back her own brother? It's not about taking sides, Ashley claims. But can she honestly look Jack in the eye and say he doesn't belong at Jabot? Now taking Jack's hand, Ashley loves her brother (who yanks his hand away - this is how you show it?) Traci's right - Jack's become obsessed with getting Jabot back (feeling guilty because he let it slip away). Dad would never want that. And yes, Dad WOULD want Ashley running Jabot alone - she'll do a good job; trust that. Find something else to do with your life, Ashley gently advises.

Nick marches back into Vikki's - followed closely by Billy. Maybe he didn't cause enough trouble for Victor, but wait til his next article comes out. We won't back down either - they'll use the IPO to beat Victor at his own game. Billy doesn't get why they're so determined to get BofN - why not take the money and start their own cosmetics company? Be free of Victor - isn't that why they started all this anyway?

In Victor's office, Heather has papers for the boss to sign. She's sorry Billy got past security. No worries - don't give that 'punk' another thought. When Kay arrives, Heather leaves her to suggest this must be ripping his heart out (the prospect of taking orders from strangers). Why don't we come up with strategy - to keep that from happening? Sounds interesting, Victor wonders what Kay has in mind.

Nick and Billy are served beer - and as Billy goes to tend to Lucy, Nick worries it's gonna get ugly. Call Vance, Vikki decides - see how much stock is up for sale - buy it - seize control. Unless Nick's having second thoughts. You wanna make the call or should I? Nick's clearly 'in'.

Outside Victor's office, Nikki ensures the coast is clear - and barely has the flask back into her purse and breath sprayed minty fresh when Kay emerges from Victor's office (to encourage her to go in and see Victor - and don't let anything stop you). Excuse me ladies - I'm here to see my husband, Diane prances over on cue (champagne and 2 glasses in her hand).

In the Mountie's car, Daniel's in the back seat with his laptop (which beeps to indicate Daisy's in 'the alley'). Relax - wait her out. Impatient, Mike hops out - with the Mountie.

At Vikki's front door, Jana checks the ultra sound photo she's printed off - don't wanna lose these, she returns the envelope to her purse. Inside, she takes Lucy from Billy - so he can answer a call from Primrose (who accuses him of being responsible for some lady nosing around). Billy paid Primrose a lot of money to make sure there's no problems - so there better NOT be. Everything alright? Jana chirps.

Armed with flashlights, Mike and Daniel search the alley. As the Mountie's sent to check inside the building, Mike and Daniel find Daniel's phone - with a text message that reads 'so long suckers'. How's Mike supposed to explain this to Lauren?! Sorry - my fault, Daniel sounds like he couldn't care less.

At the club, Abby's on the phone - assuring Kent that Victor taking NE public means she has the money to fund her show. She has everything she wants ~click~ Um - what will half a billion get me? she asks the bartender.

Also at the club, Ashley's on the phone too - I want in on the NE IPO. Likewise, Jack's on his cell - start pulling cash out - I don't care about penalties - I need enough cash when Victor starts sending out invites (make sure I get one!). Tucker's on the phone too - wanting all the NE stock he can get his hands on. I don't care HOW you do it! Still at home, guess what Vikki and Nick are doing? - how much stock will they need to get control of the company?

Outside Victor's office, Diane knows Nikki specializes in picking up the pieces of his life - but no need this time - she's got it covered. And as Diane sashays into the office, Kay assures Nikki that SHE can't fix Victor (who'll realize that soon enough himself). In the meantime, let's help him the best we can. That door's closed for me, Nikki sighs.

In Victor's office, Diane wastes no time pouring the bubbly; congratulating Victor on putting Billy in his place - priceless. And no one will be able to calculate Victor's worth. Just another day, Victor downplays. Well then, how to make it a special evening. Oh, Diane can think of something. Removing her coat, she wears nothing but diamonds and a seductive smirk (which brings a smile to Victor's face).

Next: It kills me to turn away from you at a time like this - but you leave me no choice, Doris reduces Sharon to tears (through the bars) ... Cane! Lily runs up to the bar to spin a man around. At the table behind her, Neil stands, the rest of the family (including Liv) looking equally horrified ... On the patio, Jana grabs an envelope back from Chloe. Is that an ultra sound!? None of your damn business! Jana screeches.

My Thoughts: Oh yay - Billy's gonna do another article on Victor ... Did Tucker really think Ashley would want to celebrate him firing her brother? ... Ashley's gonna 'take good care of Jabot' - while barely stepping foot in the building ... Having commanded the attention of the whole world, why would Victor complain about 'some people' misguiding and misadvising his kids? - why not use this self orchestrated opportunity to publicly name his enemies; Vance and Jack? .. Shouldn't Victor have given Mike a heads up on the press conference? Won't he be a bit surprised to tune in and hear it on the radio? Surely the loyal attorney will need to time to get his ducks in a row to invest .... Heather's sorry Billy 'got past security'? How can she 'secure' the GCAC? It's a club - a gym - a restaurant - a hotel? If Victor wanted a secure venue, he shoulda held the press conference at NE ... THIS is what Heather went to law school for? 'Mr Newman will answer your questions'? Victor was the one at the podium - couldn't HE invite the reporters to ask questions (instead of stepping aside so Heather could do it - then step forward again)? And being the journalist he is, why would Billy let Victor off the hook so easily? And with all other media eyes on him, why wouldn't Billy take the opportunity to pimp RS? By saying 'Billy Abbott; Restless Style' before launching into his one question blitz? ..... Silly Kay - the kids are 'sharks' circling around a 'wounded animal'? Um - did the sharks come out of the water? Or are the wounded animals floating into the water? Just sayin' ... Highly unlikely that Mike and Daniel would be able to enlist the services of the prestigious RCMP so quickly - was Daisy's disappearance even publicized (on either side of the border)? ... Small town motel - folks driven up all the way from Wisconsin to capture a fugitive - and the motel manager isn't even interested enough to tag along? .... Someone really needs to spank some manners and respect into Kyle. 'Duh', he cheekily mouths off to his mother .... Great idea Daniel - a tracking 'app' on his cell phone - which is great, as long as Daisy doesn't get rid of (or lose) the jacket/phone - did he slip an iphone charger into her pocket too? Why wouldn't Daisy - who's on the run and broke - pawn the pricey phone (which should fetch quite a price; since the contact list includes the Naked Heiress and all sorts of rich people) ... Primrose wonders how 'Stella' got pregnant? Jana said she doesn't like strangers groping her - presumably her baby's father isn't a stranger. As if a random ultra sound off the internet would pass for a legit one (with the patient's name, DR, medical facility and address) - and then Jana manages to print off a 'full medical report'? ... Kevin upgraded the CL's desktop computers to laptops? Great idea - wonder how many are walked out the door .... How does Jack expect Ashley to get him his job back? Lay on HER back?
