Today's Spoiler

Of course Kao's telling the truth about giving the camera to a kid - how many guys handcuffed to a bed lie to you? Never mind - don't answer that, Adam grumbles to Phyllis as they mosey around a Thai flea market. 'Nancy Negative' remains unconvinced they'll find the kid - or the camera (though Adam knows it's Sharon's only hope).

Taking him 10 minutes to make his way through the reporters, Mike joins Victor in the courtroom hallway. Walsh will be gunning for him (as he funded Heather's campaign against him). This could make his career. Knowing that Sharon's innocent, Victor's determined to testify.

Walsh presents exhibit 1 - the audio recording, taken the night of Skye Newman's murder. Objection! Oh alright then - the night of Skye Newman's 'death'. Walsh sets it up - then plays it for the jury (as Sharon looks nervous).

Wheeling Lucy along the street, Jana calls Primrose to say she has the ultra sound and medical report. Good - bring it on over. Bumping into Daniel, Jana's in a hurry (to get Lucy out of the cold that is) - buh bye now.

As Daniel strolls into Trimble's, Neil's leaving Lily. Do I smell funny or sumthin'? Everyone's running away from Daniel - he takes a seat. Not really wanting to think about 'how big Lucy's getting' - Daniel then explains that his secret was almost blown to hell (in Canada with Mike).

Dropping Faith off at Summer's (so he can attend Sharon's trial), Nick gets a call from Phyllis. Yes, he got Summer off on her field trip OK. Hearing that they're working on a long-shot lead, Nick doesn't normally cheer Adam on - but Sharon could really use the help.

Back at Trimble's, Daniel explains why he let Daisy go - she'd make problems for Vikki and Billy. Yes, she'll stay away - she's terrified of going back to jail. Lily guesses he did the right thing then. Sadly, it doesn't feel like the 'right thing' to Daniel.

Taking Lucy from Jana, Vikki assures she'll be able to manage both her and Faith. Given a few hours off, Jana steamrolls over Uncle Neil (who arrives with a belated Christening gift). What a beautiful little strawberry muffin! he coos to Lucy. Thanking Neil for testifying, Vikki brings up Victor taking NE public - why IS he the way he is? You'll never get BofN, Neil concludes - just let that one go.

As the bailiff announces it's Victor's turn to testify, Nick arrives with Billy. Glaring, Victor marches into the court room. Thinking it a miracle if Victor's testimony clears Sharon, Nick and Billy follow inside.

Sworn in, Victor's questioned by Vance (who leads him in testifying what he heard - which was Sharon begging Skye to come back to GC; then, begging her to 'hold on'). Flashback to Skye's death - as Victor assures that Sharon did everything possible to save her. 'I'm not going to let you die' Vance slowly repeats Sharon's 'exact words'. Described as 'kind, compassionate - a good mother - incapable of committing such a crime', Sharon's moved to tears.

Lucy down for a nap, Vikki doesn't see why SHE should be the one to let go. Neil let go of NE - and honestly, has never looked back (in fact - he now wonders why he tolerated Victor's strange behavior for so many years). Build a brand new company, Neil suggests - move on. Vikki's heart's with BofN - she must TRY to get it. Wishing her the best, Neil advises Vikki to enjoy every second with Lucy. Vikki doesn't know what she'd do without her.

Looks good! Primrose reveals the ultra sound is of a boy (whom she'll have no problem finding a home for). Both all smiles and ready to finalize the deal, 'Stella' has a lot of questions for Primrose too.

At the Thai flea market, Phyllis isn't having much luck with the locals (in neither making herself understood, finding someone who recognizes Koa - or the yellow camera). There's HUNDREDS of these markets, Phyllis whines as Adam hustles her along.

Walsh takes his turn with Victor (wondering if his son's are jealous that he holds his daughter in law; ex wife to both of them - in such high regard). Objection! Walsh then casts doubt that Victor was merely vacationing in Hawaii. Asked if he's responsible for the collapse of the hedge fund, Victor, arms folded, pleads the 5th). It may also 'incriminate' Victor if he answers whether he and Skye plotted against Adam (whom they both hated). Victor continues to plead the 5th (when the questions come fast and furious; about whether he flew Skye to Hawaii). By the time the Judge sustains Vance's loud objection, Walsh has no more questions.

Sharing her latest Cane sighting, NO! Lily didn't say anything (to the family who thinks her crazy). And when Daniel gently stammers that she should talk to someone (other than him) - not because she's crazy (but because of all she's been through), Lily rejects the idea. No one should have to bottle it up. Like YOU'RE doing?? Ah but Daniel has no choice but to forget Daisy and Lucy exist (and pray Mike does the same).

Responding to Vance, Victor explains he plead the 5th because he will not lie on the stand. Detailing how dangerous the volcano paths are, Victor believes Skye slipped to her death. Sharon did everything in her power to save Skye, he concludes. Did Victor's testimony help Sharon? Not according to Billy and Nick (or Vance). In the hallway, Victor can only hope he did.

But these 'too many questions' ARE 'Stella's business. She needs to know her son's going to a good home. Jana continues to grill Primrose on the adoptive parents. That's enough - Primrose will ask the questions now. When Jana suddenly gets dizzy, Primrose runs to her car for a protein bar (leaving Jana to frantically search her desk).

More with Neil and Vikki. Talk of Lily leads to talk of Reed (which leads to Vikki moping that Lucy will never know her birth family). But how lucky she is to have Vikki and Billy as her parents; love goes a long way. Maybe Victor WILL realize that one day, Neil leaves Vikki to make a vow to the sleeping Lucy; I will always protect you.

Leaving Lily to browse the book store, Daniel offers to go with her (if she decides to see a doctor) ~hug~ Lily Winters? The Fresh Face of Jabot? A former co-worker of Cane's expresses condolences. No, Lily's not upset - Cane's never far from her ... thoughts.

Another Thai market; same results (or lack thereof) - until the bickering pair are approached by a kid wanting to sell them - you guessed it - a camera.

Can't win em all, Billy quips as he and Nick file out (followed by Victor). Nick thanks Victor for taking the stand (for Noah and Faith). Pointedly saying it was 'the right thing to do', Victor marches off. Asked if Victor helped, Mike thinks Vance should be preparing Sharon for a possible guilty verdict. Nothing else can be done to help Sharon. Refusing to give up, Nick will just go in and stare at Sharon.

*I may have lost a coupla minutes here because my stupid satellite receiver reset itself*

What do you think you're doing!? Ever so busted, Jana looks up to find Primrose glaring down at her.

As Phyllis and 'Nancy Negative' are bickering about what a waste of time this is, a kid comes up - you looking for this? A familiar looking yellow camera? You bet your ass they are.

Returning home to find Vikki with Faith and Lucy, Billy updates that Victor plead the 5th (when accused of staging a murder). Informing that Neil dropped by, Vikki relays his opinion that she should give up on BofN and cut all ties with Dad. If only it were that simple. Never mind that - Billy would rather terrify the kids with animal sounds.

Minding his own business, peacefully reading a car magazine on the patio, Daniel's accosted by Mike (who wants to know the real reason he let Daisy go).

Primrose screeches - why are you snooping through MY files? Having heard about unscrupulous baby brokers, Jana wanted to make sure Primrose was legit. Wondering the same thing, Primrose yanks open Jana's blouse. I KNEW there was something off about you!

'Communicating with the afterlife' is the book Lily hides when Neil returns to Trimble's. Having bumped into Daniel at CL's, Neil's heard that she's thinking of getting professional help (which is an excellent idea). Admitting that she's seeing Cane all the time, Lily claims it's 'real'. You believe me don't you? Of course Neil does ~hug~ (though his over the shoulder expression reads 'your weave's too tight you crazy beyotch').

In the courtroom hallway, Victor makes it clear that he's not impressed with Vance's job thus far. With him the only witness, Vance shoulda done better with damage control and redirect. The Newman Fund has nothing to do with the case, Victor insists. Told that he only has himself to blame (if he looks bad), Victor declares Vance as lousy an attorney as he is a human being.

Alone in the court room, Sharon understates; what a mess. It's not over yet, Nick encourages. It doesn't look good - I'm going to prison, she weeps about Faith. There IS hope, Nick now throws Sharon a rope - admitting that Adam did indeed go to Thailand following a lead. He and Phyllis are close to proving her innocence.

Buying the camera, the kid's long gone by the time the bickering PI's realize that the memory card's gone. It's empty, both look crestfallen.

Next: Mother to mother, our children are not safe with her. You need to fire her, Chloe tells Vikki .... I just can't help but think - you didn't want us to catch her, Mike busts Daniel ... Witnesses have been shredded - we don't have a choice, Vance tells Sharon. Seated beside Leslie, Nick grasps - are you saying there's NOTHING you can do?

My Thoughts: First, Lucy is adorable! But, come ON Neil - a 'little pink strawberry muffin'? ... Thank God you're home, Vikki huffs like she's all frazzled with the two baby girls (who're not making a peep) ... Aren't witnesses in a murder trial usually sequestered until they testify? DA Walsh didn't find it odd that Victor heard voices 'in the distance', but had no trouble recognizing them (and being close enough to hear them, still wasn't able to get to Sharon and Skye - or bother to stick around to console the daughter in law he holds in such 'high regard'?) Would Victor have plead the 5th if asked whether he torched Skye's shack? ... The flashback clearly shows the camera tumbling into the volcano (and it appears doubtful that Sharon had time to take a photo before it tumbled over the edge) ... How does Victor describe Sharon? Kind, compassionate - and if memory serves, one hell of a kisser ... Vikki sure took her time thanking Neil ... Why wouldn't Adam and Phyllis have checked the camera BEFORE paying for it? Surely it's not the only yellow camera in Thailand. Hey, maybe the memory card IS in there - Adam just can't see it on account of he's BLIND .... Was that a nice neat row of rubber chickens hanging upside down at the market? Right across from the kiosk selling the shiny new laptop's? The markets must stay open pretty late (since Thailand is 12 hours ahead of GC (so, if it's 11:00 am in GC - it's 11 pm in Thailand) ... Isn't it a bit early for Adam to KNOW that finding the camera is Sharon's only hope? Opening arguments just began (and Adam didn't even hear how they went) ... I wonder what part of Victor's behavior Neil found 'strange'. Ruthless yes, but strange? Perhaps Neil found it strange when Victor gave him the private jet (which enabled him to buy Indigo) ... Mike almost got tackled outside by reporters? His tie was barely askew. Why would the Judge only allow a few journalists into the court room? And why aren't those not picked at least trying to get inside the hallway? (the building IS open to the public after all). One of the lucky journalists, why didn't Billy make any notes? If Jill was still working for him, she'd be Twittering ... Walsh is only gunning for Victor because he funded Heather's campaign? (he's not aware of the long running feud between the Newman's and the DA's office) .... If I had a dollar for every time Mike's hefty retainer's mentioned, I might be able to buy some shares in NE ... I only just noticed today that Jana's speaking without her usual annoying British accent (which she quickly adopted again when Daniel came around the corner). For a woman who's committed murder with a blunt object, Jana sure didn't put up much resistance when Primrose ripped open her blouse .... Oh Good - looks like another Bumpy the Camel book's been released. There seems to be absolutely NO order to the books lined up on Trimble's shelves. Kids books - adult books - novels - biographies. I wonder what kinda book 'Man to Man' is (as seen over Lily's shoulder) .... Considering how often he's walkin' around with a diaper bag these days, couldn't Nick find something a bit more stylish - and masculine? .... Loved Nick's forced laugh when Billy told him to get Phyllis to call her boss ... Phyllis is becoming quite the neglectful mother - Summer would have missed the field trip if Nick hadn't handed the permission slip in minutes before sticking her on the bus. Guess Phyllis hadn't put a check beside the 'I'd like to go along as a parent volunteer' box .... Nick doesn't normally cheer Adam on because Adam doesn't normally DO anything worthy of being cheered on for ... Understatement of the day goes to Lily; Daisy 'likes to stir up trouble'. I hardly call kidnapping, torture, attempted murder and drug induced rape as stirring up 'trouble'.
