Apologizing for being late, Lily's assured that there's plenty of time for lunch and shopping; 'retail therapy'. Taking a seat across from Lauren (at the club), Lily actually wanted to ask Lauren about a different type of therapy.
Joining Kevin at CL's, Chloe jokes about doing the 'walk of shame' into the mausoleum (wearing the same clothes after spending the night at the club). Chloe was busted by Ester - but it's all good (as she loves him) ~kiss~
On the patio, Daniel claims he thought Daisy would lead them to the baby. WHAT'S not adding up? Mike has a list (ending with Daisy disappearing after being left alone with Daniel). You didn't want us to catch her, Mike concludes.
Faith gone, Billy has Lucy in his arms as they wave good bye. The girls may be spending lots more time together (if Sharon goes to prison). Poor Faith (losing Sharon after Ashley). That will never happen to Lucy, the Abbott's grin and cuddle their daughter.
In the golf shed, a furious Primrose shouts questions at a terrified Jana - why was she going through the files? What is she trying to pull!?
In the court room, Nick tells Sharon that Adam and Phyllis are in Thailand (working on a lead). The Judge returning, court is back in session (and Vance has 15 minutes to produce his next witnesses). Taking a seat beside Sharon, Vance is updated - Adam may have evidence that can prove her innocence. Thailand? Vance spins around to give Nick a puzzled scowl.
No memory card - and no internal memory, Adam confirms (still at the market). Calm down - let's find the kid, Phyllis runs one way, Adam another.
Demanding answers, Primrose wags her finger. OK - Jana's looking for a particular baby (that was left in St Joseph's church, then passed on to a certain family - through Primrose). Jana's not there to cause trouble - you have nothing to fear. As a friend of the mother, Jana just wants to know that the baby's in a safe home. Doesn't Jana's refusal to reveal her source mean she can keep a secret? Not believing Jana, Primrose pulls out her phone. Shoving her to the ground, Jana runs outside (leaving Primrose laying in a puddle of bouncing golf balls).
Snapping photos of Vikki holding Lucy, Billy gets a text message update - court's in recess because witnesses (for Sharon) didn't show (a cop and an expert from the crime scene in Hawaii). Though Vikki has confidence in Vance, Billy thinks he'll need more than his reputation to win THIS one.
Phyllis and Adam meet up just long enough for both to say they've had no luck. Useless camera still in his hand, Adam's not leaving until he finds this kid (then races off again to do so).
Nick can't reach Phyllis - they have no idea what this evidence is. Plus, this evidence that's 9,000 miles away might not be admissible. Leslie arrives with more bad news; their two witnesses have been called in regarding a triple homicide. The only thing left to do is put Sharon on the stand (though nobody looks thrilled with the idea).
Over lunch, Lauren speaks highly of the non-judgmental Dr Mason (who's helped Jana too). In hindsight, Lauren should have faced the grief of losing her father (instead of hiding from it) - not that she's saying Lily is. It's OK to ask for help. She knows Lily doesn't want to worry her family. Talk to someone objective, Lauren encourages.
Back on the patio, Daniel think Mike's worked with criminals too long. Yeah - long enough to know when he's being lied too. And, for some reason, Daniel doesn't want Daisy brought to justice. What's going on out here? Kevin and Chloe rush out. You're brother's accusing me of lying, Daniel complains (which YES, he ABSOLUTELY denies). Mike feels that Daniel's actions contradict his statement that his concern is the child's best interests.
Jana returns to her cozy apartment above the Abbott's garage. Huffing and puffing, she locks the door behind her and drags a table to block it. Removing her padded belly, she goes through Primrose's stolen cell phone. What's this? Code? No - phone numbers (and they better lead to Daisy's baby).
Feeding Lucy her bottle, Vikki explains the large bill from Fenmore's. Money well spent, Billy grins (hearing they may have stopped by the lingerie department). Getting another update, Billy's headed back to court. Sharon's testifying, Vance must be desperate.
Phyllis is ready to give up for the day when Adam spots the kid (and asks for the memory card). That's extra. Money offered, 'I get for you', the kid pulls out a walkie talkie.
Leslie protests - Vance knows what an easy target Sharon is (as he once tore her up on the stand). Nick agrees - it could backfire. Sharon's confident she can get the jury to believe her. And when court's back in session, Vance informs the Judge that his next witness is Sharon.
Still at the club, Lauren's happy to hear Lily's made an appointment with Dr Mason. Melt down's aren't much fun - Lily won't regret it, Lauren advises she take care of yourself, so she can take care of those babies. And off the pair go (shopping for the twins).
Daniel assures that Lauren and Jana don't need to worry about Daisy coming back (though Mike's not convinced). Daniel raises his voice - he's just as upset as anyone (but wants to do right by his daughter). When Jana arrives to 'borrow' Kevin (Chloe's attached to his hand). Inside, Jana claims she found a list of numbers in a book that was her father's (and is hoping Kevin can figure it out). Jana can barely watch as Chloe gives Kevin a kiss before she leaves him to examine the list - edging closer to peer over his shoulder.
Sharon sworn in, No - she did NOT kill Skye (whom she tells the jury she wanted to bring back to free Adam). Vance also addresses the jury - a man can't be convicted of killing a woman standing right in front of him, can he?
The kid's joined by an older cousin (who has a wide assortment of memory cards for sale). No - Adam wants the one from THIS camera. Claiming they erased it, the boys run off - sorry. Phyllis gives chase; hey! Hey!
Back at CL's, Kevin believes the third column to be routing numbers (for a bank). The last column could be bank accounts. He then goes to grab his computer.
Let's go back to the hotel - form Plan B, Phyllis is back with Adam (who's given up all hope - THAT was the only evidence). How can he go back to Sharon with nothing? He's failed her.
On the stand, Sharon explains finding Skye on the volcano hike - the altercation - taking Skye's picture - her falling. Sharon's near tears as the jury hears how she tried to save Skye.
Lauren deserves to know the truth, Mike chases Daniel inside CL's - spinning him around with both hands. Oh look, here's Lauren (with Lily) - and she's got questions too (as will Phyllis). Daniel's done explaining. If it's not good enough, too bad, Daniel leaves the Baldwin's blinking (Lily's jaw hangs open in the background).
In an emotional appeal to the jury, Sharon insists she'd never want Skye (or anyone) to die (especially like that). It was horrible. Sharon's not the vindictive, jealous monster the DA's making her out to be. I'm a good person - friend - mother. Sharon had no reason to kill Skye (and every reason to save her).
As the market's closing up, Adam announces he's returning to GC - to testify for Sharon. Phyllis doubts that'll work (given his sterling reputation). Wait - you're not the only one who saw it, Phyllis points out. Koa! both run off.
Pushing Mike aside, Lauren confronts Daniel - never mind her and Jana, this woman tried to kill YOUR mother! Daisy enjoys torturing people, Lauren snaps when Lily tries to diffuse the situation. You let her go! And now Lauren must suffer because the selfish and immature Daniel doesn't wanna be a father! Don't say that, Lily whispers. It's OK - let em think what they want, Daniel responds.
Kevin's traced the numbers to banks all over the US (including one right here in GC). There's no way to connect them to an account (due to firewalls). There must be something we can do. No - sorry.
When Chloe visits to share her concerns re: Jana, Vikki claims her nanny's personal life isn't her business (and smiling, reminds that Chloe has a past too). Chloe has NO 'compassion' for 'crazy. If Jana's in this house, HER daughter won't be. Vikki's smile fades. No, she DOESN'T have to listen to Chloe (who has no say in this because custody's set). So, drop it. Giving up, a disappointed Chloe marches out.
And as Jana's looking at the GC bank account number she jotted down, Vikki tidies the mail (including a bank statement with the same number). Lucy in her arms, Vikki assures that Jana's not going anywhere. Heading upstairs, the bank statement's left prominently displayed.
You did good, Vance whispers as he hands Sharon a glass of water. As one juror wipes tears of her own away, DA Walsh takes his turn. Clearly skeptical about Sharon's heroics, he manages to slip in that this isn't Sharon's first arrest (and that she's been committed to a psychiatric hospital). How many times has Sharon been married? Objection! She's lived a wanton and reckless life. Please stop, Sharon sniffles. I didn't kill her - it's the truth! Sharon about to fall apart, the Judge calls it a day. About to collapse, Sharon's helped from the stand by Leslie and Vance - her teary eyes fixing on Nick's.
He WILL come back and testify! Adam insists (as Phyllis tries to calm him down). Inside the empty motel room, they find that Koa's freed himself by breaking the headboard. Both gape at the damage done - horrified.
Next: Jana would never hurt a kid, Kevin insists (while Chloe can't believe he's defending her ... Chloe wants us to fire you, Vikki tattles to Jana (who looks nervous) ... Jack's joined Nick and Billy - as Walsh barks at Sharon (on the stand). What chance did Skye have against you, alone, on that dark night in Hawaii? Objection!
My Thoughts: Daisy hit me over the head - 'do you remember that'!? Yes Daniel - it's YOU who had no memory silly ... Leslie's bellowing that Sharon's an easy target - yet the selected press milling in the background don't appear the least bit interested. There reporting for RS, why isn't Billy taking any notes - and when he gets home, instead of updating the website or typing an article, he's taking oodles of photos ... Having just won half a billion dollars, why does Vikki need to justify the big Fenmore's bill received in the mail? ... Thailand is 9000 miles away according to Vance today (Adam said it was 8,000 yesterday) ... Lauren and Lily must have ordered the club's extra giant sized salad. WTH is on that plate? 'shredded witnesses'? ... Has Vikki NO idea how to feed a baby it's bottle? Poor Lucy was getting more air than milk ... Of course Kevin can tell the list of random numbers belong to bank accounts. But wouldn't any of Jana's father's hidden bank accounts have already been discovered (by the investigating police)? Why should Jana receive money gained from her father's crimes? (He was an art thief if memory serves). Does Jana really think that little table's gonna stop anyone from coming through the front door? Where did all that furniture come from in the apartment? ... Lily late for lunch puts the time at about 1pm (meaning the Thailand flea market is still open at 01:00 am) ... Why would Daniel be 'thrilled' that Mike's PI found Daisy. She raped him! ... Billy might wanna draw the sheers open if he's gonna wave through em ... The Abbott's just MIGHT have Lucy with em til they're 45 (look at Jack - he's still living at home) ... Hearing that there's been a triple murder in GC, all Team Sharon's concerned about is how it effects them? How inconvenient that the two witnesses have a real murder to tend to ... How fitting that Primrose is wearing faux snake print (she must have raided Jill or Gloria's closet). Love how she manages to pull a rack of golf balls onto herself... Why is Jana such a fraidy cat? She killed Carmen - and hit herself in the head with a brick. 'I have friends' Jana claims. Yeah - name one ... You're scaring my customers, Kevin whines to Daniel. Right - patrons who have coffee served to em by the Silver Chipmonk are frightened because the artsy fartsy guy's raising his voice ... Huh? Fresh from a night spent with Kevin, Chloe claims she has no 'compassion' for 'crazy'? Maybe not compassion - but she certainly has PASSION for 'crazy'.
