Today's Spoiler

In the interrogation room, Sharon still holds out hope that the jury will find her innocent. Not so sure, Adam's still determined to help her escape. Meanwhile, in the courtroom, Noah talks to Nick about his visit with Mom (whom he still loves - but laid into anyway). In the hallway with Jack, Billy hopes Phyllis a good scoop.

At RS, Phyllis types - will the jury find Adam's lady love guilty of lobbing his ex into lava? Calling Malcolm, she's disappointed that his pal hasn't found video of Sharon and Skye.

Tucker's on the phone - insisting Mike come see him re: Victor. Exiting G-worm, Mike bumps into Kay and Nikki (who relays a news bulletin; the jury's about to deliver it's verdict). Getting a call from Victor, Mike will be right there.

At the ranch, Victor and Diane ponder Sharon's fate. The jury's short deliberation can't be good news. Turning up the news report, Victor pales at the suggestion that Sharon could spend the rest of her life in prison.

Leaning across the table, Sharon's not pleased that Adam's already made arrangements. What will Noah think if she runs? If they find proof that she's innocent, Noah (and Faith) will think her courageous, Adam insists she seize this moment (before it's gone). Time to go, Vance arrives to announce.

Bouncing up the hallway, Phyllis opens her jacket (apparently her boobs got her past the other freaks/reporters)reporters. It's all in the name or journalism. Yes, Jack's there to see Victor - but is Phyllis Sharon's only hope? In the courtroom, Nick updates Phyllis and Jack that the press have been hounding Noah (who's worried about his Mom). Phyllis will talk to him. Yes, of course 'off the record'. Nick's left to confide in Jack; Sharon's a wreck (and HE feels like hitting someone). Like your old man?

Meanwhile, Noah whines to Phyllis (about his Mom hooking up with Adam. And don't even get him started on Victor). Noah's ashamed of his family (and grateful that Jack's there). Exuding confident, Vance has a message for Billy's readers; we're expecting a positive outcome. Asking Adam for a comment, Billy thinks Sharon would be better off if he left town. As Sharon's lead in, Nick gets a private word - Noah loves her. And as Sharon cries over Faith not being there, Vance interrupts (dismissing Nick in the hopes that Sharon will stop crying). You heard the man, back off, Adam's toe to toe with Nick (who retreats when Vance shakes his head). That leaves Sharon to look desperately into Adam's eyes.

Back at G-worm, Kay dissuades Nikki from going to court. Be proud, Nick's a grown boy. What's Tucker done now? Same old thing - going after Victor's company (which Kay won't allow). Support Victor? He was IN Hawaii. Still, Kay thinks he must feel guilty. Discounting his trophy wife's 'cooing', Kay thinks NIKI should be the one to support Victor.

The verdict's about to be read, Diane's glued to the TV as Mike joins Victor. In the courtroom, Sharon and Vance stand to hear 'guilty of murder in the first degree'. Sharon crumples, Nick and Jack hang their heads. Kay and Nikki cling to one another (at G-worm).

Sharon wails - no! No! Jack, Nick and Billy stand behind - as Vance sits Sharon down - the Judge banging her gavel; order! Miss Newman will be remanded to custody pending sentencing. Vance stands - his client is ill. The Judge instructs a guard to escort Sharon to the bathroom. And as she's lead out in handcuffs, Adam shouts out - I'm so sorry.

At the ranch, Mike turns the TV off. It's awful, Diane spotted Noah - poor kids. Victor blames the inept Vance (who's NOT 'one of the best' as Mike claims). The DA had no evidence. Assuming there'll be an appeal, Victor asks Mike to take the case. And when he has another matter to discuss, Diane takes the hint and goes to run errands. That leaves Mike to relay his call from Tucker. How should he proceed? Give him anything he wants - with interest, Victor instructs.

With a kiss, Nikki must go to Nick. Staying at G-worm, Kay gets a call (relaying 'interesting information'). When Tucker arrives, Kay orders him to wipe the smile off his face; it's offensive. Tucker pouts - his own mother's not happy that he's in love/getting married? And you just bought Adam's stock options, Kay snarls.

Bribed into selling out his family? Adam came to ME - and the Newman family destroyed THEMSELVES. Boo hoo - Kay's already apologized for giving Tucker away. Why is he so ungrateful? Why is SHE so hypocritical? (and disloyal - to her own son). Loyalties aren't inherited, Kay points out - they're earned. Victor's earned hers. She was in business long before he could spell the word. Tucker did the deal on his own because she turned him down. Too damn bad if she doesn't like how he operates (as he won't be stopped). You underestimate me. You overestimate yourself old woman. Past her prime, Kay's told to enjoy her loyalties and rocking chair - Tucker's off to make billions (leaving Kay to smirk).

Noah 'can't' talk to his Mom (and marches out with Nick on his heels). Sharon's not the only one the jury condemned today, Jack comments to Billy and Phyllis (who's glad the kids have Jack). Off to write their story, Phyllis will meet Jack for dinner. As Adam watches, the DA offers Vance first crack at the press. Vance will appeal - and win. Next time, they'll have a Judge who requests evidence. You'd have handled it the same way, Walsh marches out. Now what? Vance is looking into grounds for appeal. Months? Adam balks. But no, it's NOT the end for Sharon, he agrees.

Hurry - I'm gonna be sick! Sharon's lead into the bathroom. As soon as the cuffs are off, she races into a stall (to be 'sick'). And as the guard washes her hands, Sharon removes the back lid off the toilet (to pull out a plastic bag).

Nick follows Noah to the same park Tucker and Ashley plan to get married at. He needs to get back to his life in New York - now. He talks to Summer every day - about other things. But here, it's all about Mom. And when Noah offers to stay if needed, Nick let's him go with a hug. Try to look out for Mom, Noah says in parting. Diane appears. Having heard about Sharon, she 'needed' to see Nick.

Where's your wife? Nikki asks (on Victor's front step). That's none of Nikki's business and Victor's not 'in the mood'. Too bad, Nikki has things to say. She can save her breath - Victor won't be judged (by her or anyone else).

At RS, Phyllis types - and reads aloud to Billy (who's like the article better if Adam were the villain). With Victor the villain, it looks like they'll have to make Adam the hero (for once). And it won't last long, Phyllis is sure - he'll do something sociopathic soon. Billy hopes so.

Jack joins Adam in the empty court room - waitin' for someone? Something - to turn it around. We're on the same side today, Jack knows Sharon didn't deserve this. Adam's not done fighting.

Bursting out of the stall, Sharon takes the guard down with a cloth soaked in something that puts her out. Locking the door, she gasps in horror at the motionless guard - then pulls at the bars covering the window.

Preferring to stand, with a hand on his hip, Mike's told that Tucker's just purchased a large quantity of his boss' stock - from Adam. The message for Victor is that he wants to buy more (at above market price). Never gonna happen, Mike slams out. We'll see, Tucker's left to smirk.

Still at G-worm, Kay's on her phone with the SEC. As they're coming down hard on poor business practices, she's compelled to advise them that Tucker McCall is a reprehensible business man. Who'm I? his mother.

Diane stops Nick from leaving - to inform that Victor wants Mike to start on Sharon's appeal. He's doing everything he can to help her. Nick's unimpressed that she's defended Victor. No? That's what it sounds like to Nick (who marches off). Jack appears (to guess she's upset over Nick - NOT Sharon's verdict). Nick upset me, Diane admits - then claims she wants to get along with Victor's children (which leaves Jack looking suspicious).

Victor feels Nikki has NO right to criticize him. Now go. Taking 'her turn', Nikki can see how sad and frustrated he is. Though he was admirable on the stand - it wasn't enough. Nikki still has confidence that Victor will save the family (and Sharon). Victor's not so sure - but will defend Sharon (and help her children). I know, Nikki coos in Victor's arms.

Phyllis shares good news, and a secret with Billy. She brought a thousand memory cards from Thailand. Malcolm just called - his friend may have found something.

And as Adam exits the court room to comment that this has been the worst day of his life. Sharon's innocent - they'll appeal - and win .... Sharon struggles - and finally manages, to remove the bars on the window. The guard unconscious on the floor, Sharon hops out the window.

Next: Dad gave Adam a payday!? I KNEW it! Vikki grunts at Kay ... Sharon has a fake driver's license in her hand - as she drives in the dark. You really thought of everything Adam ... If it was premeditated she had help, Phyllis' voice is heard (as Sharon's dying her hair brunette to match the license). I'm gonna find 'team Sharon', Phyllis boasts to Billy - and come back tonight with an exclusive.

My Thoughts: I get the animosity between Tucker and Kay - but really, 'old woman'? That was harsh (though, I guess, sickin' the SEC on sonny boy doesn't make Kay mother of the year either). What exactly does Kay think she HAS on Tucker? Bad fashion sense n retro glasses? Poor taste in women? .. Is it wise for Kay to leave her purse unattended on a table at G-worm? .... Abby was right - her Mom's wedding IS 'stupid'. Tucker the billionaire and Ashley (who's not poor either) are gonna get married in a public park right outside the courthouse? I thought at least, it was a private garden - but not judging by the time it took for Noah to get there from the court house .... Nice to hear that Noah still loves his Mom - cause nothing in his spiel indicated he had anything but loathing for her ... 'lobbed into the lava'? why is Phyllis so callous about a young woman's tragic and painful death? A woman her readers might assume she was friendly with (since Skye was recently on their cover). Who's Phyllis to call the other reporters 'freaks'? (when she's the one gaining access by flashing cleavage)? Wonder who'll ultimately foot the bill for the thousand memory cards (999 of them totally useless). HOW - by any stretch of the imagination, is anything regarding this case - the scoop of the century? Has anyone outside GC even heard of Sharon Newman? .. At least you don't write lies about her, Noah says to Phyllis. I guess he doesn't see the irony in Phyllis calling Sharon a 'homewrecker' .... Why does Mike jump through hoops for everyone in town? He shoulda told Tucker to make an appointment and come to his office. He's Victor's attorney - NOT Tucker's 'messenger'. Why does Tucker even have Mike's cell number? ... Gloria's 'nowhere to be found' - so Mike obviously has no idea she's been arrested). Odd that his trusty contacts at the station haven't alerted him - or that it didn't make the news (since plenty of customers witnessed Glo and Chloe's arrest) ... No one noticed Adam going into the LADIES room - to loosen the bars in the window? At least he could blame the 'mistake' on his blindness (if busted) ... Why is Adam wearing the same shirt as both the inmates and the jail guards? ... Don't all these scavengers wanting to take control of Victor's 'magnificent' company - not realize that he'll likely hang onto controlling interest?... Jack and Nick are tied for stupid line of the day. Nick to Sharon - you don't look too good (gee - ya think?) .. Jack to Diane - you seem upset (he cares as much about her feelings - as Diane cares about Sharon's guilty verdict) ... Nikki was going to let Victor 'have it'? By 'it' does she mean more sex in the stables? ... No, Victor's first try at 'fixing things' didn't work - but what makes Nikki think his second attempt would go better? Victor hasn't been able to 'fix things' in quite some time .. 'Believe me', Adam tells the press - we will win. Wonder why the reporter didn't say - believe YOU? Aren't you currently out on bail for perjury charges Mr Newman? ... Why is the news reporting that Sharon could spend the rest of her life in prison? Wasn't 20 years the most she'd be sentenced to (with Vance assuring she'd be out in much less)?
