Today's Spoiler

On the patio, the fake fighting (for Jana's benefit) is making both Kevin and Chloe edgy (as is Kevin's inability to break through the firewall). Things haven't been a barrel of laughs - and why is Daniel so upset that Kevin's trying to find Daisy's baby anyway?

Outfit in hand, Agnes recognizes it as the one she bought. So - the baby Jana takes care of MUST be 'Rose'. Jana lies - she bought that outfit herself (at a thrift store). And after Agnes leaves, Jana's delighted to now know the truth - but how does she go about proving it?

Fanny (in Sharon's arms) seems to have picked up an infection. You have to save her, Sharon's obviously very concerned about her little lamb.

You arrogant punk! Victor advances on Adam. The Reverend won't allow them to disrespect the Lord's house - and one another's right to grieve. Is there anyone amongst us who is without fault? Sit down. Adam talks of his Mom dying (taking the best part of him with her) - he was angry, confused - lashed out at everyone - then, along came Sharon (who'd lost so much). It was like coming home. Fine - blame Adam - but he's NOT the reason they're here. YOU ostracized and isolated Sharon - and in the end YOU all killed her.

Of COURSE Nikki's 'not gonna sit and listen to this' - but who's she to judge Sharon (after all the men and booze she's been through)? Excuse me! Nikki stands in protest. Noah jumps to his grandma's defence - don't talk to her that way! Head held high, Nikki clip clops out - leaving Adam to turn on Phyllis (who trashed Sharon; ruined her marriage) It's always Sharon's fault, isn't it Billy? (who just HAD to make her collateral damage). Vikki - the wife who stands by as hubby decimates the mother of her niece and nephew. You're a little late JR - Jack points out that they've known Sharon a lot longer than he has. Yes years - in which Jack, the lousy husband, LIED. And when Sharon told him the truth (that she loved Adam), Jack was gone - just like not-so-faithful Nick - who cheated with Sharon and on her (then scurried back to his wife when finding out Sharon was pregnant). Last but not least - Victor. Dad - my hero (who was NO hero to Sharon). Adam's shouting at the top of his lungs. Loving his company and himself, Victor did NOTHING for Sharon! The Reverend manages to sandwich himself between Adam and a equally furious Victor.

Using his stethoscope, Sam concludes the lamb's having digestive trouble - so goes to the house for something that might work. Everything will be alright, Sharon's left to reassure Fanny.

In the nursery, Jana babbles to Lucy - oh, what a clever nanny she is. On her hands and knees, she sifts through the mountain of shredded bank statement. Once Jana gets the pieces together - Lucy, her little jackpot, is the ticket - and Kevin's the prize. When Kevin calls, Jana summons him over. And because she won Rock/Paper/Scissors, Chloe is too.

The numbers match! Jana's laughing and crying at the same time. It's true! Billy bought Daisy's baby from Primrose! The whole time, the answer was in her own baby yard - well - Billy and Vikki's back yard. We're going to be your new Mommy and Daddy - a big happy family. Ding ding - there's Daddy now. Alas, Chloe's with Kevin (and Delia). Delia sent off to play tea party, Jana and Chloe bicker. Then, as Chloe and Kevin pretend to argue, the 'Loony Limey' retreats upstairs.

Hopefully on the mend, Fanny's destined to be a 4H project - for a neighbour next door. Sam's not in the habit of letting his friends down. Sharon believes that.

Jack and Billy frogmarch the still vocal Adam up the aisle. What do you want us do to with him? the DA asks. Press charges? Lock him up, Noah orders. The DA then arrests Adam for trespassing, making threats, etc. I'll be out by tomorrow, Adam sneers as he's walked out backwards. Nick exchanges a look with Diane - then Phyllis (who joins Jack) - he'll see them at the reception. You alright? Diane asks. Worry about your husband, is Nick's usual reply. Daniel still needing to speak to Billy, he sends Vikki and Abby on home. Sorry the Abbott's got caught in the middle of it, Daniel announces that he fathered Lucy (as verified by a DNA test). Lucy's my daughter.

At the club, Noah leads the toast - to Mom - she deserved better; in life and death. Don't give Adam another thought, Doris advises. Aside, Jack believes Sharon would have have realized what they already knew about Adam. That he's an ass? No - that there was only ever one man for her. (A comment that makes Phyllis suddenly very uncomfortable).

At the bar, Nikki and Victor agree that the sad day had a satisfying ending (made even more satisfying if Adam gets punished for his shenanigans). Diane saunters over as Victor gets a call. It's Adam - who has something Victor ought to see. Victor asks NIKKI to explain him leaving - and declines Diane's offer to go with him.

That's crazy, Phyllis is in disbelief. Adam crashed the funeral - lashed out at everyone and now he's got Victor running over to the jail to do God knows what? People learn from their mistakes, Jack's obviously got something else on his mind. And yes, it IS a good idea he and Phyllis go talk (after she hits the ladies room). Diane trots out her usual line - looks like you could use a friend. Unlike Phyllis, Jack's not interested in sharing anything with his ex. Diane's eyes light up - Phyllis and Nick? I'm sorry. For whom? Jack snarls (leaving Diane to smirk - and eyeball Nick).

Lucy in her arms, Jana sends Chloe and Delia up to look at some new paints - then is about to blabber out her most amazing news when Vikki and Billy arrive. I'm the luckiest Mom in the whole world, Vikki gushes as she takes Lucy.

Daniel's sorry. Well, there it is, Billy stammers how much Vikki (and he) love that baby. Daniel knows they do - he wouldn't change a thing. Yes, he wants the Abbott's to keep Lucy. But don't thank Daniel just yet - Kevin and Jana are looking for the baby. Billy's on top of it - no one's taking their daughter away.

Fanny still cradled in Sharon's arms, Sam thinks she must have developed bottle feeding skills from her own kids. Looks like Fanny's on the road to OK. Oh my gosh, Sharon was so afraid they'd lose her (then apologizes for being so emotional). WE saved her, Sam corrects.

Nick was thinking about a trip - him, Faith and Noah (who can't - he's heading back to New York; because of what happened today).

In the interrogation room, nothing on earth will make Victor drop the charges against Adam (who can think of two things; letters - that Sharon wrote before she died - to Faith and Noah). Give them to me, Victor demands. Gladly - in exchange for my freedom.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack sips Scotch. Having something to say, Phyllis begins by saying she loves him - the best friend she's ever had. Go ahead - absolve yourself. Knowing what's coming, Jack starts - Nick and I .... I'm sorry, Phyllis didn't mean .. No, you never do, Jack replies sadly.

Upstairs, Kevin joins Chloe and Delia. Eavesdropping, Jana realizes the bickering was fake. Detecting Jana's presence, Kevin and Chloe are at it again - as they and Delia march downstairs (past a scowling, arms folded Jana).

Billy and Daniel arrive as Kevin, Chloe and Delia join Vikki (holding Lucy) and Abby downstairs. And when Jana announces she already emptied the trash, Billy utters an unconvincing 'thanks' (as he looks at the paper shredded). Quietly wondering what Jana wanted to tell him, Kevin's told that it can wait - nothing urgent. All three men looking awkward, Daniel clasps a hand on Kevin's shoulder - we need to talk.

Jack really thought they'd get it right this time - but it seems that Phyllis feels unworthy of love (that she'll be hurt and disappointed). She keeps sabotaging 'us'. In tears, Phyllis doesn't know what it is - why she does what she does. We coulda had such a good thing Red (who thinks they still can). Alas, Jack can't do it anymore. Nothing more to say or do (except you better go). Giving Jack his coat back, unable to get any words out, Phyllis exits (leaving Jack devastated).

The letters DO exist - ask Doris - she saw them. Victor can't believe Adam had the audacity to mention his mother's name in church - you're a disgrace to her. He won't be blackmailed. Adam's offering his 'Dad' a 'fair deal'. Talk Noah into dropping the charges (and he'll hand over the letters). Without answering, Victor exits.

Still at the club, Noah needs to get back to NY - but will see Nick in the morning before he leaves ~hug~ Along comes Diane. No, Nick's not OK ~hug~ More hugging inside (as Noah and Nikki exchange 'I love you's'). Now alone at the bar, Nikki pours vodka into her mug and drinks.

Sharon's taking the first shift (watching over Fanny) - but declines helping with a donkey. She'll take care of the cute fuzzy animals. Deal, partner, she and Sam shake hands.

Abby and Chloe hovering, Daniel doesn't want to fight with Kevin. They both want the same thing (what's best for the baby). OK then, Daniel will help find her. Upstairs, over the crib, Vikki thanks Billy for bringing Lucy into their lives. Oh how she loves Lucy - and Billy (for making it happen). We'll always protect you, Vikki coos as they turn out the light. Later, Jana enters the nursery - turns off the monitor. Shhhhh Lucy - c'mere - it's OK - shhhhh. The whole family's asleep - I'm gonna take you away from here - me, you and Kevin are gonna be a family. When Delia comes in, Jana takes her (and Lucy) downstairs for a drink. Shhhhh.

Next: Why would Jana do something like that? Billy has no answer for the agitated Vikki ... Kevin's face is totally blank - when an excited Jana (holding Lucy) tells him that Lucy is Daisy's daughter - she's your niece .. What kind of a mother am I!? Vikki wails. You can't blame yourself, Victor consoles. What if Jana hurts them? Vikki panics (Nikki as her side).

My Thoughts: Poor Jack (though it's hard to feel sorry for him given the amount of times he's cheated) ... If only Sharon was as concerned about her kids as she is about that newborn lamb ... Diane really needs a new line. Her 'looks like you need a friend' isn't working so well for her .... If Kevin and Chloe want Jana to think they're fighting, why couldn't she just stay away? And why do Chloe and Kevin feel the need to argue in front of Delia? And for Jana to call Chloe pathetic within Delia's earshot ... Observe Phyllis during Noah's toast - it looked like her glass was a bit too heavy for her to raise ... I'm all for anything that puts Adam behind bars n all, but how can he be trespassing at a church? And what 'threats' did he make? But why didn't the Reverend (standing just a few feet behind Adam) not intercede? Did Adam really find it necessary to accuse everyone (including Sharon's grieving mother and SON) of killing her? ... And why is Adam preaching about cheating? Didn't he cheat on Heather - with Rafe? Why is Victor so dismissive of his new wife? (the one he claims he 'wanted' to marry) Couldn't DIANE have passed Victor's message along? No wonder she's insecure when it comes to Nikki ... I thought the DA and the cops were staying (out of respect for the family) - so why didn't they immediately put a stop to Adam's tirade? (Guess Walsh was wrong about them putting the fear of God into Adam) ... Pretty low, even for Adam, to withhold letters that Sharon wrote her children. They aren't HIS to hold hostage. They belong to Noah and Faith. Adam redeemed? I say repulsive. Instead of making a deal with Adam, Victor should just have Noah go ask Adam for the letters. Would Adam really withhold a grieving son's letter from his dead mother? ... As if Jana would really be able to piece together anything useful from that mountain of shredded confetti .. Happy Easter to all!!!
