The mood at the club is somber. Seated with Mike and Kay, Gloria wears her most face - Kevin's in terrible trouble - we need to find him.

As the cops scurry about the abandoned preschool, it's Kevin and Jana vs. the Detective (who sees just THEM and a corpse). Never mind that they're the ones who called 911! The obsessed Jana lured me here, Kevin insists he was the one who convinced Jana to release the girls. Yeah well - tough Detective declares it a homicide (in which Kevin and Chloe are his two prime suspects). What?! Chloe couldn't be more surprised had he suggested she wear white after Labour Day.

At G-worm, Ash is glad that Billy's with Jack (though she can't blame Vikki for tossing his ass out). No parent should have their child taken away (and she should know). Tucker hopes all goes well - but - if not - they'll survive (like Ashley did). Oh how happy Ashley is - but she sometimes feel's something's missing (once you have a child, you can never break that bond). Cue a drunken Abby's loud arrival (with entourage). There for 'serious fun', Kent captures it all on his cell-cam as Abby hands Jeff her credit card. And as the giggling gang staggers in, Ashley and Tucker can only sigh.

Sharon and Sam fuss over Fanny (who's 'labour of love' gets credit for her survival). The overworked and understaffed Sam stammers out an invitation for Sharon to work in his veterinary office. A face like hers shouldn't be hiding away in this barn.

Ending his call with Nikki, Nick's 'home' (flashing back to carrying his bride over the threshold). But wait, it's Adam's home; along with the property it sits on (as left to him by Sharon). Nick can take his threats and bad attitude out - or Adam can throw him out (when he's done eating his Chinese take out).

Sharon appreciates Sam's offer (and loves animals) - but her answer is 'no'. Mind if I ask why? Sam inquires.

After hanging up with Mike, Nick admits it's Adam's home - for now. Good luck - the will's airtight. Name your price - Nick will do anything to get Adam outta there. 10 times what it's worth. Afraid not 'jackass' - the place isn't for sale. Staying to piss them all off is exactly what Adam plans to do. He likes driving up the guard gate - Frank wavin' him in etc. Dad must fume as he reviews the 'security tape' every night. Adam waving at the camera as he drives through Victor's property - to get to HIS - can't be good for Victor's new heart. Get a life, Nick snarls - no one wants you here. Sharon did - and that's enough for Adam.

Gloria and Kay are kicking it up a notch. A 50K reward will be announced on the 10 pm news. Extremely generous, but Mike wonders who's gonna answer all the calls. Who's gonna pursue the leads? It takes time to implement things. Mike excusing himself to take a call, Kay assures Gloria that she'll have it all set up tomorrow. Mike's back - they found Kevin.

Kevin and Chloe continue to explain. Jana summoned Chloe over - threatened to kill Kevin if she called the cops. With no 'cause of death' determined, Kev and Chloe explain Jana's brain tumour. Could it be another aneurysm? The M.E. thinks it possible - will know more after an autopsy. Chloe's then outraged and indignant when Kevin's arrested (on the kidnapping warrant) - and she's ordered into a separate squad car. It'll be OK, Kevin reassures as she's lead out (then read his rights).

At G-worm's bar, Jeff's instructed to keep the drinks coming - and crank up the tunes (so a shoeless Abby can climb onto the bar and prance around). Like what you see down there? she invites a young man to help her down. And as Kent captures it all, Abby rewards the 'hot' guy with a lusty kiss. Having 'seen enough' Ashley and Tucker march over. However, the 'fun police' can't get Kent to stop filming - or Abby to leave with them. TTYL. TTY-NOW! Ashley yanks her out by her arm.

Mike, Gloria and Kay turn the station into chaos - stunned to hear that Kevin's arrested for kidnapping - and that Jana's dead. As Kevin babbles his innocence to the DA, Mike (attorney for both him and Chloe) tells him to keep quiet. As Mike leads Kevin off, Kay and Gloria want to hear EVERYTHING (from Chloe).

Hey sport - how about Adam buys Nick out - money's no object (since he sold his stock options to Tucker). ADAM will pack up Faith's things - and deliver them himself (so he can see the little girl he misses). No way - and this isn't settled. Oh - but it is - Sharon settled it in her will. One more thing - Adam holds his hand out; your key (which Nick drops onto the floor). Damn! he spots an article on Adam's laptop - 'Sharon Newman Death Suicide?' The DA hounded her - now won't even let her rest in peace.

Sharon's not ready to face people - THIS is what she needs right now. Sam's buddy Marco arrives (as State cop). Sharon looks nervous - it's the cop who pulled her over the other night.

As the two pals talk in the barn, Sharon discreetly slinks into her room. And when Sam calls 'Sherri' out, he assumes she's in the bathroom. As they head up to the house, Sharon's left to fret.

Differences seemingly put aside, bonding over their anger towards the DA who's quoted as saying Sharon's letters could be perceived as suicide notes, neither Nick not Adam want Sharon's memory tainted. Anger redirected at Adam, Nick snarls that Sharon was tainted by HIM.

In the interrogation room, Mike's amazed that Kevin was able to convince Jana to drop the girls off (so they could run away together). He's so proud (for saving their lives).

And as Chloe shares her story with Kay and Gloria, Kevin's doing the same with Mike. The DA interrupts Chloe - that why you killed her? In the interrogation room, Mike's livid (at how Jana treated Kevin - she KNEW what you'd been through). She wanted to break me - so I'd fall in love with her again - but Kevin didn't snap this time (thanks to bouncing the ball). It's over - you did good, Mike encourages. But what if the DA and cops don't believe me? Kevin worries.

Back at G-worm, Abby's sobered upon hearing that her Goddaughter's been taken by CPS. She can't even call Daniel (cause she dumped him). Refusing to leave with Tucker and Ashley, what Abby really needs is another drink (NOT a behavioral lesson from Tucker; who won't have her treat her mother this way). That your stepdaddy speech? Abby's had enough Daddy's and she sure as hell doesn't need Tucker!

Abby rants about Mr Rebound cheating (with that trash Diane). Shut up! Tucker jabs his finger - how dare this 'brat' disrespect her mother (which Abby's sure Kay would just love). Abby encourages Kent to film Tucker (as he loudly lectures 'Princess'). Grabbing the small camera, Tucker stomps it beneath his heel.

Mike returns to the interrogation room with a folder of evidence; phone, handcuffs, DNA, fingerprints inside the closet - all cause for optimism. A subdued Kevin's glad Chloe and the girls are OK - but guilty that Jana's gone (and that he didn't know, or ignored, how sick she was).

The DA determines that Chloe's angry, jealous - did she kill Jana? Talk to me. Kay at her side, Gloria claims Chloe WILL talk - to her brilliant lawyer (who then comes out angry that the DA's talking to his client). There's no cause of death to prove there's even a homicide. Unless Walsh is pressing charges, they're goin' home.

At the mausoleum, Kevin and Chloe update one another on Daniel knowing that Lucy's his kid etc. Kay on the sofa, Kevin consoles Chloe (who's been through a lot too).

Nick marches over to the DA's table - snarling about him grandstanding in front of the press. Word leaked out, Walsh couldn't lie. Nick accuses him of just that. Sharon didn't kill herself. Adam arrives to agree (and neither are happy to hear that the coroner's report's been amended - the official word is 'suicide' - case closed).

In a baseball hat and hair tied up, Sharon's introduced to Sam's cop friend. She's a bit shy, Sam explains when Sharon goes for blankets. Finding the story a bit strange, Marco offers to check it out.

Jeff doesn't think it necessary that Kent call the police (over his destroyed camera). Tucker stuffs some bills in Kent's pocket - and as for Abby - if she can only be rude to her Mom, he doesn't want her at their wedding. yes - Ashley does agree with Tucker - sorry. After they leave, Abby orders drinks - for everyone - all night.

Thanks, but Sam doesn't need 'Sherry' investigated - she's fine. After Macro leaves, Sam sees there's plenty of blankets (and when Sharon returns with a pile of em, hopes that one day, she'll tell him what she's hiding from). In her room, Sharon reads the memorial page - scathing comments on her cowardly suicide. Her poor kids - suicide is hell on those left behind. Sharon's horrified - they think I killed myself?!

Back at the club, Adam and Nick blast the DA - denying the letters are suicide notes. Oh, how he's hurt the kids. Walsh is just doing his job. Their denial doesn't change the facts (as determined by the experts). The DA heading back to work, Adam assures Nick that he'll tell his the kids the truth (the only thing Nick thinks they'll ever agree on).

At G-worm, Mike and the Bardwell's don't agree on 'poor' Jana. Mike will mourn the woman they all knew and loved (not the one that held Kevin hostage). To Jana - to Kevin - to the nightmare being over, they clink glasses.

After a hearty dinner, Kevin thanks Kay for her support. She considers him a dear friend. He loves her too. And with a kiss, Kay toddles off to bed (leaving Kevin thankful to be with Chloe and Delia) ~kiss~

Next: I can't represent you, Mike stuns Phyllis - as of now, he is no longer her attorney.... You knew what you were in for - the name the status, Jack tells Diane (who says 'it ain't enough'). So tell Victor, Jack advises ... At the ranch, Victor whispers 'don't go' - as he leans in to kiss Nikki.

My Thoughts: Why isn't Mikey wearing a 'find Kevin T-shirt'? and how's anyone supposed to see Glo and Kay's (when they're both wearing shirts over em)? .. I just love keeping an eye on the background players (and will never forget the agonized tuxedoed guy at the explosion). Today's gem is the female cop - behind Kev and Chloe in the first scene. I don't know what she took a whiff off - but she sure didn't like it .... Huh? Abby's there for 'serious fun' - but Jeff won't grant entry until she hands him her credit card? Great policy! He IS aware that Abby's got more trust funds than little black dresses right? ... Oh - so there IS a 'guard gate' at the ranch - guess Frank's responsible for all the uninvited and unannounced visitors. And now we hear there's even security tape? ... I've never been at a homicide scene - but am willing to go out on a limb that medical examiners don't discuss probably cause of death with the suspected killers ... As a responsible restaurant owner, shouldn't Jeff have prevented Abby from dancing on his bar? Never mind the potential lawsuit if she toppled off - but who wants to eat and drink off a surface someone's bare feet have been walking on? ... Oh Kay - Kevin would NEVER be involved in a horrible crime (like kidnapping) ... Happy weekend - and Mother's Day!
