Ranting about how much he hates Collin, Caleb assures the mystery woman that he'll continue to 'play the hell out of this role' - don't you worry. Someone's comin' - meet you back at the house. Collin's back to report that (per a call he got), Neil's at Lily's - things are gettin' intense. Get back there - now! Yeah - Caleb will go finish what he started.

Take the babies?! Neil couldn't be more horrified. And Lily couldn't be more frantically insistent. Please! Neil move in? No! Lily can't stay here - she sees Cane everywhere she looks! Yeah *sigh* It'll help if she moves in with Neil ~hug~ I love you.

At an AA meeting, Nikki's stunned when the 'lady in the back' is invited to speak. Abby stands to say she doesn't think she's an alcoholic - but things are bad, really bad.

At the ranch, the table is covered paperwork. That's it - Kay thanks her friend for meeting her so late. Victor's just glad for the chance to review strategy for the IPO. No, Kay hasn't put any thought into Victor's suggestion about Vikki running Jabot - she's focused on thwarting Tucker's scheme to buy up the NE shares (which Victor appreciates) As repayment, he wants Kay on his board of directors.

Done folding her laundry, Sharon's told that Memorial Day is a big deal 'round here'. The town throws a festival (to which Sam invites her to). No - but you go ahead. Sharon's just fine hangin' round here.

At G-worm, Doris tells Nick she got some bad news - and didn't know where else to turn. Sharon's death being ruled a suicide has voided the insurance policy. They can't do that, Adam pops up to protest - it was an accident. Nick's not impressed to hear that Doris invited Adam - they're both clever, resourceful men - able to set up the scholarship in Sharon's name; for teenage girls who can't afford college. Great idea, Adam approves. Nick doesn't need Adam's help - he'll get the money. Doris still blames Adam for Sharon's death - but - if they want something positive to come from Sharon's death, they MUST work together. Nick and Adam glare at one another.

Kay'd be honoured to be on Victor's board. And so goes the mutual respect and adoration ass kissing. Your friends are here for you, Victor assures. All of em? Kay hasn't heard from Nikki since Tucker's accident. Hmm - that's not like her, Victor muses.

Back at the meeting (which includes an attentive Nikki), Abby lists her recent shenanigans - while drunk). She's ashamed - and doesn't remember the worst of it (as she blacked out). Abby just wanted to prove her Mom wrong. Having abstained for a few days, Abby has her drinking under control - just needed a place to go where people wouldn't judge her. Thanks for listening. The meeting leader claims there's always a better place to go than the bottle. Forming a circle, to recite the serenity prayer, Abby's stunned to find herself face to face with Nikki.

Laundry basket on her hip, Sharon finds Sam helping Piper make a sash for Fanny's 4H competition. Sharon's a pro with a glitter stick - but won't be there for the judging. You HAVE to come, Piper whines (her parents are working). You can't say 'no' to that face, Sam chimes in.

Doris wasn't able to convince the insurance company to pay out the claim (that Sharon didn't kill herself). Hoping the Newman name will carry some weight, Doris gives Nick the paperwork. Thanks for bringing it to OUR attention, Adam corrects Nick. Wishing them luck, Doris wheels herself out - leaving Adam to suggest they set aside their mutual contempt. Nick's plan is divide and conquer - Adam's to call the insurance company - Nick will see if he can get the coroner to change the death certificate. Was that so hard? Adam challenges? (surprised Nick didn't tell Doris about Diane). Doris is in enough pain, Nick figures - and she clearly knows what Adam is (like the rest of the world).

Sending Neil off with the twins, Lily will pack, then meet him at Kay's (where 's headed for a business meeting). Lily thinks it'll do her good to see Kay and Jill too. Now alone, she nervously calls out for Cane. Getting no response, Lily hurries to the bedroom to pack.

Still at G-worm, Adam ends his call - then updates Nick that the insurance company won't budge (without a new death certificate). The one Nick's had faxed over states; probable suicide (thanks to the DA). With the body cremated, they can't use it to challenge the findings. Perhaps it's a 'screw up' they can use as leverage - a duel attack on the coroner - involve the media, Baldwin - hire their own forensics team to examine the crash site. We're gonna do this together? For real? Yeah - we're doing this - together, Nick confirms.

Sharon would love to go to the festival - but can't take a day off (with all the work there is to be done at the farm). Piper hears that a lot (from her parents). Piper now on the computer, Sharon's joined by Sam (guess I was wrong - you CAN say 'no'). And now, Sharon looks even guiltier.

As all file out of the meeting, Nikki hugs 'honey' - so glad Abby found a place to feel safe. These people understand; have been there. Knowing how Nikki's struggled, Abby expresses her respect. Touched by Abby's words, Nikki wonders if her black out occurred the night of the accident. Abby doesn't remember - that's what's freaking her out. And as Abby hurries out in tears Nikki sits to absorb the revelation - OMG - was Abby driving?!

Wheeling her luggage out, Lily flashes back to Cane carrying her across the threshold etc.) She gasps when Caleb appears - where did you come from!? Don't touch me, she bats his hands away.

Neil showing up, Collin explains that Kay's not back yet - but happy to spend time with the 'little guys', invites him and the twins in.

At G-worm's bar, Nick greets Abby with a hug. He can't do dinner because he and Adam are working on Sharon's estate. We'll have dinner soon, he gives her a peck and joins Adam. The camera's rolling (and streaming live online), Nick introduces himself and Adam - to officially challenge the DA's report that Sharon's death was suicide).

In the barn, Sharon chides Sam for using Piper to get him to go to the festival. Denying it, Sam wonders what's the worst thing that could happen (if she went out in public). Frowning at the laptop, Piper watches Nick and Adam's joint statement (complete with a phone number on the bottom of the screen).

As Victor shows Kay out, they bump into Nikki (who been to the hospital - but keeps missing Kay). Lucy's back - thanks to Daniel's creative thinking - how wonderful. Vikki must be relieved, Victor chimes in. Promising that she'll TRY to make it to the mausoleum on Memorial Day, Nikki's in a hurry to speak to Victor. After Kay leaves, Victor scolds Nikki for rushing her off. Save it - Nikki has a theory - that Abby was driving the night Tucker was hit. What!? Victor scowls.

Is Nikki accusing Abby of drunk driving? Letting her mother take the fall? No - Nikki explains the black out (as per Abby herself - at an AA meeting). Victor's angry that Nikki would show up uninvited to relay something said in confidence. No - Abby told Nikki afterwards. Irritated, Victor accuses her of twisting Abby's statement into a fictional confession. You're NOT my 'family', he shows her the door. Never come back here with that kind of accusation!

In front of the laptop, as Piper jots something down, Sam tries to persuade Sharon into coming to the festival. She can always come back to muck out stalls. A day out will be good for her. And when Sharon announces they're all going to the festival, an excited Piper rewards her with a hug.

Nick and Adam's press conference continues - the record will be set straight. And if anyone has information, please call. The crew packing up, Nick gets a call (from 'the institute'). Great - when can we meet?

The twins asleep, Neil tells Collin that the twins and Lily will be staying with him for a while. Thanking Collin for the heads up, Neil owes him one. Collin's just glad he could help.

This haunting has to stop - just leave me alone! Lily wails. This is wrong - you don't exist! And when with Cane. Lily doesn't exist either! I'm losing my mind, she wails. You won't let me go! If you ever loved me, let me go. Just let me go! I don't want this - I don't want this! Lily sobs uncontrollably against Cane's chest.

Back at G-worm, Adam gives Victor a 'hey Pops' - vowing he'll be back at the ranch soon. Nick joining them to say he's got a map of New Mexico, he updates on what they're trying to prove. Adam declines help (from the guy to blame for putting Sharon behind bars). Nick agrees - there's already enough tension. And as he and Adam confer, Victor sits Abby down - while Nikki's at the bar - ordering vodka; straight up. Spotting Nick, Adam, Victor and Abby, Nikki changes her mind - never mind, she runs out.

At the mausoleum, Neil updates Kay that Lily and the twins will be staying with him. He's never seen Lily in such dire straits before.

Shoving Cane away, Lily shrieks - get out! Don't appear to me ever again! She can't push people away to live in a fantasy world. Cane shouts too - does it FEEL like a fantasy!? When I kiss you?! Do I LOOK like a fantasy?! I'm losing my mind, Lily sobs - go away!!!!!! If you won't leave, I WILL, she races out the front door.

Fanny's ribbon complete, Piper's so happy Sam and Sharon are going to the festival with her. Believe it or not, Sharon's looking forward to it. What's not to believe? Sam wonders. Taking the ribbon, Sam reads the glitter glue words; San Pueblo.

Still at G-worm, Nick ends his call - to tell Adam they're meeting the forensics guy in San Pueblo.

At a nearby table, Victor tells Abby how proud he is of her - all this turmoil could have driven her to drink again. Abby's done with all that. Asked about the night of the accident, Abby's already told everything she remembers. If she remembers anything else, Victor encourages her to call him.

In the park, Nikki stumbles about - her bottle in a brown paper bag. I don't need a bar - or Kay, she slums onto a bench to slur - or even you Victor; especially you. Glug, glug, glug.

Kay praises Neil on his fine work - and showing up so late. He knows it can't be easy (Chance going back to war). Sheer hell, Kay sniffles - frightened - knowing Neil's worried about Lily. Hmm - Neil wonders what's taking her so long.

Nervously entering an office lounge, Lily flashes back to being naked, in bed with Caleb - worrying that she's losing touch with reality (while her kids need her). And when a doctor comes out, she stammers her name - and that she needs to be committed.

Outside the mausoleum, Collin's on the phone - Lily moving in with Neil screws up everything! Caleb - where the hell ARE you!? ~click~

In someone's kitchen, Caleb frets - we're losing control of the situation. It'll all go as planned, a woman places a reassuring hand on his shoulder, plate in hand. Don't worry - mother will take care of everything. Come on - have a cookie, she smiles.

Next: I thought I made it clear to you - you're not welcome here, Nina tells Heather (Paul at her side) .. What did you think we were? Just a fling? I don't know, Chloe responds to Chance ... At the festival, Sharon can't believe her eyes - when she spots Adam sauntering about.

My Thoughts: Nice that G-worm lets everyone use their fax machine ... *See* that? Adam says (cause I can't, I'm blind) - easily forgotten when we see him driving Diane around - on dark country roads no less) And I guess the laptop he's looking at today was his Braille equipped one .... Sorry Victor - but if you father two kids with a woman, like it or not, you ARE family ... Just like that, Kay's got a seat on Victor's board? Why did Brad and Neil have to battle for the lone seat available? ... When speaking at an AA meeting, isn't the speaker supposed to go to the podium at the front - so folks don't have to stain their neck's looking behind em? .... Geez Doris - would it have killed her to let Nick now that the brother he hates was invited to her little meeting? Wonder if she bothered to visit Faith while making one of her rare visits to GC ... Why on earth would Collin assume that Neil visiting Lily means that 'things are getting intense'? Couldn't he just be going over to visit the twins? And knowing Neil's there - why is Collin sending Caleb over? ... Kinda rude of Lily to pawn her kids off on Neil - saying she'll be right over - then go commit herself (for however long). He's a busy man - even a day's notice mighta been nice - at least give him time to cancel any meetings he might have for the next day. Nice to see someone get the help they need though *cough* Sharon ... ... I just love seeing Adam takin' the high road .... Lily did an outstanding job today - her desperation and terror were palpable - her sobbing convincing. Bravo! ... Yeah - Nikki IS breaking the rules of AA (by even telling Victor that Abby was in attendance) .... Surely Nikki could have found a more private place to get hammered. And after just attending a meeting (after which Abby expressed respect for her strength), what exactly pushed her over the edge? Victor's rudeness is certainly nothing new ... Sharon can't possibly go to the festival - because she has too much work to do? Gee - I wonder how Sam ever ran the farm before she came along. And is her complaining about her small wardrobe a hint that Sam's supposed to go out and buy her MORE clothing? ... Of COURSE the festival Sharon's attending with Piper and Sam is in the same small town that Adam and Nick are meeting the forensic guy. But if her 'disguise' wasn't so lame, they might not recognize her ... great that Sharon feels guilty about turning Piper down - but what about her own kids? Odd that neither of Piper's parents could take a coupla hours off work to take their daughter to a festival she's so excited about. I guess parental neglect isn't restricted to just GC ... Fans of General Hospital will, of course, recognize Caleb's mother as Laura (Genie Francis - of Luke and Laura; arguably the most popular soap couple ever - despite the fact that he raped her) .. Lily's flashback indicates that she and Cane did sleep together? If she got pregnant, I guess that'd be pretty compelling proof that 'Cane' IS real. Too bad she didn't think to take a sample in for DNA testing, Yeah - Sharon's a pro with a glitter stick - or any kind of 'stick' - Just ask Nick, Adam Jack or Billy
