Today's Spoiler

At Lily's, Daniel tells Neil to cut himself some slack - the twins are safe. Malcolm calls for an update. Worried about Lily, he's instructed to worry about his 'wifey' instead (who's staying overnight in the hospital).

Liv reassures Sofia (in her hospital bed). Relax - the cramping and spotting have stopped. Perhaps she's more worried about the baby's paternity? 'The odds' may say Neil's not the father - but THAT doesn't answer Liv's question. The only thing Sofia's worried about - is the health of her child. When Malcolm returns, Liv goes to speed up the test results (leaving Malcolm to rub Sofia's belly - all that matters is their 'little one'). Right, Sofia looks troubled.

At G-worm, an 'exhausted' Kay leaves a message for Jill - hoping she's enjoying HER evening. Not so much (as she's just walked in on Genevieve kissing Collin). Well - if it isn't the FAUX Mrs Atkinson, Genevieve greets Jill (who tells her to shut up). She's there to hear COLLIN'S story (much to Genevieve's delight - this oughtta be good). Are you married to 'this'? Yes - she's my wife, Collin admits (while Genevieve's head bobs up and down).

Also looking for answers, Lily confronts Cane in the part - answer me (how could he let her believe he was dead? blah blah). There IS a reason, Cane meekly replies.

Back at Lily's, Neil updates Daniel (that Collin's been arrested for attempted kidnapping). Whether Cane gets charged or not, will be up to Lily. The cops may appreciate Cane's role in preventing the kidnapping - but Daniel and Neil aren't willing to give that 'son of a bitch' a second chance.

Cane's oh so sorry - but his father ..... Yes, Collin (whom he shoulda told Lily about when he showed up). He was threatening everyone, Cane explains. We coulda helped you, Lily's protests. No - Cane was the only one who could protect her and the twins. By pretending to be dead!? Oh, how Lily cried. This was NOT the ONLY way. You did NOT think about US - revenge on your father was all you thought about!

In Collin's room, Genevieve claims she is indeed Mrs Collin Atkinson - and Jill's NOT. It's soooo hard to find a good husband, she carries on. Don't listen - she's a pathetic person, Collin denies he was kissing Genevieve - the marriage shriveled up and died years ago. When Jill wonders why Collin didn't divorce Genevieve, she's told that it's obvious (by the kiss) - he never got over me. From his bed, Collin threatens to punch Genevieve's lights out. See? No one can get him worked up like I can, Genevieve boats proudly. Get her out of here! Collin orders the guard. Fine - Genevieve has grandchildren to visit. Ta ta! That leaves Collin to plead with Jill (to listen to his side of the story).

Liv's back with the Winter's - and look who she bumped into. Happy to hear that Sofia's pregnant (and relieved that she merely had a little 'scare'), Kay hopes their recent discussions aren't to blame. No, Sofia assures (allowing Malcolm to reveal that Cane's alive - Collin's his Dad). Oh dear God in heaven, Kay gasps.

Jill's already GOT Collin's side (since he IS still married to 'that thing'). There's more? Jill's not sure who's more despicable; Collin for perpetuating the lie - or Cane; for going along with it. Collin insists that he gave Cane no choice. Gotta hand it to him - pretending to be Caleb was brilliant (though Jill sees it as 'cruel'). Yes, Collin's proud - and the people Cane protected should be too. He makes no apologies for trying to reunite his family. I loved you, Jill points out that he used her (which Collin admits).

Don't touch me, Lily balks. She has every reason to hate him (but Cane claims it was all about protecting Lily and the twins; the only thing that matters to him). No - there IS nothing he can say to make Lily forgive him. Insisting Cane shoulda been honest, Lily DOES know how dangerous his father is (because he's exactly like him). 'Wrong', Genevieve appears to argue (requesting 'Ethan' introduce her to her daughter in law).

Neil and Daniel continue to grouse over the pain Cane continues to inflict upon Lily (and others - including Kay).

Kay KNEW there was more to Collin (as Sofia and Malcolm explain the Australian crime syndicate). But how could Cane do this to us? To Lily? And where's Jill? Kay wonders.

Collin admits that initially, Jill was a means to an end - but he never meant to hurt her. He started out using her. The fell in love with me? Jill scoffs. Collin DID try to tell her the truth - he loves the amazing Jill (who's moved - right out the door)

Of COURSE she's your mother, Lily huffs at yet another surprise (as Cane distances himself from the mother he hasn't seen in years). Boasting of her role in protecting the twins (from Collin), Genevieve thinks Lily should be glad. Glad!? That Cane lied to me? We had to be as ruthless as Collin, Genevieve continues. You won, Lily congratulates them (as Cane asks his 'Mum' to leave). Now alone with Cane, Lily rants about how she dreamt (of the opportunity to talk to him). Now? Not so much. OK - Cane's just glad she's alive to 'hate' him. Revenge cost you everything - our entire life together! Lily concludes her list - before marching off.

Still in the park, Cane rejects Genevieve's opinion of the fiery Lily - she's NOTHING like you. And no, she won't forgive him 'in time', Cane's sure. She, of all people, should know that some wounds don't heal with time. And where is Dad? Bruised, bandaged and under arrest - and the look wannabe-Mommy's face was a 'bonus'. Cold hearted bitch? Is that any way to speak to the woman who gave birth to you? There's more to being a mother than giving birth, Cane sneers.

Still at the hospital, an updated Kay leaves a 'call me' message for Jill. And now, she should get back to Tucker (and with a few more words of support, is walked out by Liv). In the hallway, Kay can only hope that all takes a 'back seat' (to the new baby on the way - and Cane being alive).

Now home, Lily thanks her supportive father and ex (who're stunned to hear she spoke to Cane). I'm fine, Lily insists. When Jill arrives, Daniel and Neil leave the ladies to embrace. No words are needed to explain the pain they share.

Silly Jill - used to wish her life were more excited. Lily's also had enough excitement thanks. They discuss their reaction to Cane being alive - being happy and angry at the same time (as well as Jill's visit with Collin - Lily's talk with Cane; during which she met Genevieve). There's NO excuse for Cane faking his death (making life unbearable for Lily). Now he's back, it's like losing him all over again, Jill and Lily share another understanding hug.

Back in the park, Genevieve thinks Cane's 'new family' are fools if they don't understand that he was protecting them - they don't deserve you. You've waited years for this night - what now? Cane isn't thrilled when Genevieve announces that she's not going anywhere - she's staying in GC.

Rejecting the county jail's accommodations (as they lack silk sheets), Collin tells the guard to let his visitor in (assuming it's a lawyer). Kay marches in - not surprised to see me, are you?

Sofia's alone when Liv returns with her test results. She's RH negative - which COULD be a problem (if the father's RH positive). We're not sure who the father is, Sofia reminds (as Malcolm returns - happy to hear that Sofia can go home). The Winter's could really use some good news. Liv's the only one not smiling.

Pausing to mope over a framed photo of herself and Cane, Lily answers the door. It's Daniel - and he'll be right outside if she needs anything. Yes - he's sleeping in his comfy car (if Cane shows up, he won't make it to Lily's front door). Sleep on the couch, Lily invites Daniel in.

At the park, Neil strolls over to Cane. Asking if Lily and the kids got home OK, Cane gets sucker punched in the face. That was for Lily and the kids, Neil stoops over his fallen son in law - then marches off.

Kay's NOT happy that she was right about Collin - and has no intention of 'rubbing Jill's face in it'. This isn't about 'I told you so' - Kay cares for Jill (more than she can say for Collin). 'Grandpa' Collin is NOTHING to the two little babies he tried to steal from their mother! And if Collin's stuff isn't out of her home by the time she gets home, Kay's burning it. Don't contact Jill ever again, is her parting warning.

Now sipping wine at G-worm's bar, a weepy Jill deletes the messages from Kay.

Genevieve's back home - and also in tears (over Samantha's ashes - the photos etc.). Oh God, she weeps over the collage on the floor. I'm so sorry, she lays down beside it - sobbing. My baby, she weeps apologies.

Next: Ashley gets a visit from John - You aren't the one who should be in here, are you? ... Sweetheart, you want to give WHAT back to me? The money they awarded me - I wanna give it back, Abby sobs ... Phyllis visits/warns Daisy - don't mess this up for me. I'll drop you SO FAST.

My Thoughts: Those following the most interesting storyline; the suspenseful saga of Lily's asymmetrical neckline - will be interested to know that after falling to the right - then to the left - then back to the right - it's now settled in the middle; falling off neither shoulder (or both). Hey Lily - the stripper/welder from Flashdance called - she wants her outfit back .... If Collin was so hell bent on kidnapping the twins, wouldn't he have done so without Cane driving Lily insane to the point that she checked herself into the psych ward? Couldn't he just have asked Lily if he and Jill could babysit em at the mausoleum for a few hours? It all just seems so unnecessary (not to mention ridiculous) .... Kay would 'erase' Collin from the twin's 'minds' - 'if she could'? Does she really think they'll remember him - or anything? Hello - they aren't even a year old yet. Who has vivid memories of that age? They COULD have watched the news reports on Youtube - yet for some reason the media didn't show up to report or record what would have been an interesting story; Aussie Cattle Rustler/Crime Boss Attempts Kidnapping of Jabot's Former 'Fresh Face' Twins' ... Listening to the self righteous (and oh so perfect) Neil and Daniel, it's hard to believe that both are single .... Take care of your 'wifey'? Neil's terms of endearment are almost as derogatory as when Malcolm calls Sofia his 'woman' ... Malcolm's shirt really needs to be a size larger (and why are the bottom buttons always undone?). Perhaps they're shrinking their clothes - cause Sofia's always seem to be too small too. I'm surprised her hospital gown wasn't turned backwards to show off her cleavage to full, and I do mean full, advantage ... Yes - 'of COURSE' everything's OK, Sofia assures Kay (like whatever gave her THAT idea? The fact that she's lying in a hospital bed?) .... Yeah Sofia - relax - just lay there on your back (like you did when conceiving your baby). Odd that Liv gets to practice medicine in whichever town's hospital she happens to be in at any given time. I'm sure the tech's working on Sofia's test results are thrilled that Dr Liv's badgering them to hurry up. They'd be like 'beyotch - do you even WORK here?'... Never mind how nauseating Genevieve and Collin's kiss was - but (for Collin) it must have been quite painful. Genie Francis (Genevieve) is a soap legend - did she realize she was coming on to Y&R to play a cartoon character? What an unfortunate blemish to footnote an otherwise long and respected career. That said, Genevieve's grief was palpable (as gut wrenching a scene as any I've watched) as she lay sobbing beside Samantha's collage. (which leads me to believe that it's the writers who are turning a fine actress into a laughable caricature).... I love you, Jill tells Collin. Yeah? Then why isn't she kissing his puss oozing face? Not even a quick peck (while his first wife was really making a meal out of it) ... Didn't Kay have Collin investigated shortly after Jill brought him home (asking if she could keep him)? Why didn't ace detective Paul Williams discover that Collin already HAD a 'wifey'?
