Sending her lackey off, Genevieve sashays over to Collin's table for one - overjoyed to see him ostracized; the town pariah. She has so seen the twins (one of the reasons she's sticking around). And IF her only goal IS to piss Collin off - 'it seems to be working' (Genevieve smirks over her shoulder and clip clops off).

As Jill won't return Cane's calls - he's come to the boutique (to listen to a list of reasons Jill's pissed off at him). Cane reminds that he called her the day of the wedding - telling her not to marry Collin. So did everyone else - Cane was just a voice in the crowd, Jill claims 'the TRUTH' would have stopped her. I love you - the only mother I ever had, Cane bleats. Oh, shut up! How could you lie and betray us, a teary Jill expresses her pain (to a 'monster' worse than Collin). Oh yes - she means it - get the hell out of town. We're all better off without you - Jill ignores Cane (as he calls out her name).

Out for a run, Lily and Daniel catch their breath on the now popular bridge. He thinks it time she stop running - think about what comes next. What happens if Cane comes knocking at the door? Has Lily considered divorce?

At CL's, Kay asks if she can join Ashley - and takes a seat to 'clear things up'. It was never personal. Ashley WAS shocked - that Kay could think she'd deliberately hurt Tucker) - but - understands going to extremes - to protect one's child. Cue Nick's arrival - with Faith (and Kay's exit). Gushing over the baby, Ashley's sorry she wasn't of more help (after Sharon died). S'OK - you're here now (Nick knows she had her own problems).

Arriving at Adam's suite, Noah had no luck - but hears that Adam did. The memory card's now being restored by Malcolm's pal. Hopefully it's the same footage he saw in Hawaii. Adam wants nothing more than to prove Sharon's innocence (for her, Faith and Noah). Her memory shouldn't be tarnished.

Making the bed she now shares with Sam, Sharon's in a much better mood. Kissing Sharon, Sam sure hated leaving her in bed - but sure does like coming home to her. Tonight's the town dance - and he'd really like Sharon to go with him (which again brings on her indecisive/shy act).

Thinking the kid in her lap remembers her (which Nick agrees) - Ashley praises the great job he's doing. A humble Nick shares the credit with Noah and his father (with Nikki in rehab - Vikki dealing with her stuff). And when Nick asks Ashley to be a bigger part of Faith's life, she's all in.

Smile firmly in place, Sharon points out that she has nothing to wear to a dance. Sam hands over a gift bag - something Piper's Mom helped him pick out. Sharon loves the dress (and that he wants to take her) - but just can't (be around a crowd of people). Sorry. Sam is too - it woulda been fun. And he can't stay home to 'do something special' - he volunteered to help set up.

Ending his call with the forensic's guy, Adam updates Noah (that he thinks it can be restored). Noah's gotta give Adam 'props' on this one. And on his way out the door, confesses they're spreading Mom's ashes today. It's low key (he lists off the family attending). Adam understands - he doesn't want to bother them on a day like this. Thanks - later, Noah leaves him disappointed and sad.

On the patio, Kay and Collin disagree. What she calls a tragic miscarriage of justice, he calls diplomatic immunity (then points out the whole 'pot/kettle' irony - her coming down on HIM for using his connections). And when Collin mentions Jill, Kay points her manicured talon (threatening to use her influence if he doesn't stay away from her).

Cane screwed up - but his intentions were honourable. He loves Jill - loves the twins - loves Lily. He can't 'go' - not with Collin still in town. Genevieve enters smiling - and over annunciating. Don't pretend to care about me - and I'll pretend I don't wanna throw you off a balcony, Jill snarls. But Genevieve DOES feel for the woman she has so much in common with (having endured years of hell with Collin; a charming beast). Good think Jill's marriage to him was invalid - divorce is sooo messy. Cane's head toggles back and forth between the two - like he's watching tennis at Wimbledon.

Still taking a break on the bridge, Lily just wants to make little decisions - like what to make for dinner. She'll deal with the future later. And no worries - she won't cave in to Cane. Daniel learned the hard way - you can't love someone unless you trust em.

Dressed and ready to go, Sam tries (and fails) once more to convince Sharon to go to the dance. Another 'I'm sorry' - is followed by another 'me too'. Sharon's 'bye' is ignored (as Sam exits the bedroom).

Noah joins Nick, Faith and Doris at CL's (the business his parents once owned - where they met. In fact, Nick proposed right over there). And as they file out (to scatter Sharon's ashes), Adam slips in the back.

Still on the patio, Collin insists he cares about Jill. Sure, he's done some bad things - but stay OUT of it, he warns Kay. He's right, Jill arrives (to 'take it from here'). I'll be fine, she sends Kay off. But not as any favour for Collin (whom she has things to say to - alone).

Following her around the boutique, Cane scolds Genevieve for being rude to Jill. She doesn't 'get' what both he and Collin find so attractive about 'that woman' - and is just trying to reconnect with her son. Hoping Cane doesn't blame her, Genevieve's sorry things didn't go as he hoped - with Lily). When two people have a bond (such as theirs) anything's possible. Come back to the house - plot the next move. Curling his lip, Cane declares her the last person he'd take advice from. Genevieve, his only 'ally' now, just wants Cane to be happy.

Yup - Lily and Daniel are still taking a break from running. He acknowledging what he put Lily through - She all but chuckling at his 'lightweight' antics (nothing compared to Cane). It's fine - we were kids - Lily was underage. We're friends now - helping one another. And now it's a race to the park. The loser buys drinks, Daniel stretches - as Lily sprints off to a head start.

At the barn set up for the dance, Piper's mother's looking forward to meeting Sherry. Yeah - where IS she? Piper's Dad asks Sam - as he looks around (like she might be hiding behind a stack of hay bales).

Sharon marvels at how pretty Piper looks all dressed up - then is asked why SHE isn't ready? OK - Sharon will walk Piper over (but she's not goin to no ho down).

On the bridge, Doris talks of how Sharon used to come here and think. And after all offer a few sappy thoughts, it's time to say 'good bye' (and hellooooo Adam; who lurks - but isn't seen yet).

Doris talks aloud to her precious baby girl - oh, how proud she was. Then Noah (as a teary Adam listens). Hanging on to a brass urn, Nick talks to his first love - best friend. He misses Sharon's kindness and smile. Putting the urn on the ledge, Nick reads a brief poem aloud - I'll always carry a piece of you in my heart. And all offer last words as Nick dumps the urn (except for Adam; who's crying behind a tree).

A woman arrives at the barn/dance - to complain about being carjacked the night before. Hands on their hips, Sam's cop buddy's cluck about the recent rash of similar incidents.

You can't stay home - it's the big dance! Piper works on Sharon. This is the first time Sam's gone back to the dance. Since when? Since his wife left him there. Mom says you're good for Sam, Piper puts the nail in the coffin.

At the boutique, Kay pauses to admire the sign (announcing the new launch). Gotta hand it to Jack - by God he IS gonna deliver. Ashley put a lot into this line - but only time will tell, a demure (and still a bit chilly) Ashley moves on. That leaves Genevieve to ooze her way over to introduce herself. I've been so looking forward to meeting you. That makes one of us, Kay zings her.

Jill tells Collin to stop with the calls - the flowers - the gifts. We're OVER. We were great together, Collin insists - remember setting off the alarm in the boutique? he cackles - alone. WHY would Jill wanna give that up? Are you insane?! Jill won't give him another chance. And Collin won't give up - Jill WILL surrender.

Jimmy's is hiring a bartender. Does Cane have any experience? You bet he does (like once owning the place). Alrighty then - let's get the paperwork filled out. And as luck would have it, they're in the back - when Lily and Daniel run in.

Undeterred, Genevieve invites Kay to visit the MacMillan house - see what I've done with the place. Kay's far too busy - let's be straight - she doesn't want to be friends (or have any trouble). When Genevieve puts it all on Collin, Kay puts a stop to the snow job - and assures she's no sweet little old lady. You cause as much trouble as your entire degenerate family.

Why won't Collin let this go? Because he loves Jill. Oh how he misses her sexy laugh. Hiding what might be a laugh, Jill snarls - get the hell out of my life. And so I live to fight another day, Collin leaves (looking a lot less stressed than Jill).

Daniel and Lily are having fun (loudly making spectacles of themselves with shuffleboard/bowling and beers). Daniel hopes Lily thinks this a great idea too ~kiss~ Emerging from the back room, paperwork in hand, Cane doesn't seem to think so.

Noah and Nick are back to grieving at CL's - both still have Sharon's number in their phone. After Noah leaves, Ashley returns for her sunglasses she left on the table. Now it's time to move on, Nick kisses Faith (after briefly telling Ashley about the nice send off for Sharon)

Adam mopes alone on the bridge - it's beautiful here - perfect for Sharon. He watched her family say good bye - but he can't - not until he knows she can rest in peace. He won't stop until he clears Sharon's name - I won't let you down, Adam sniffles.

The barn all set up for the dance, Piper arrives to tell Sam that Sherry walked her over. And in Sharon comes - in the dress Sam bought her.

Next: Now dark, Adam encounters Nick on the bridge - The love of your life - the mother of your children - CHOSE me .. Dance with me, Sam asks Sharon (who'd love to) ... Jabot is mine - nobody is taking it from me, a determined Jack assures Ashley.

My Thoughts: Ashley and Nick left CL's ages ago - yet no one swiped Ashley's sunglasses off the table? (which you'd assume would be rather expensive) ... I wouldn't have thought it possible for anyone to be underdressed (or too 'dirty' or 'sweaty') for Jimmy's - yet Lily and Daniel manage to do just that ..... Who knew the small town of San Pueblo was so diverse? So far the minority ratio is far higher than GC. It really is THE big dance - I could tell by the big party-size, 50 count, package of cups ... OK - so I have no idea how much ashes a body Sharon's size would amount to - but um - considering she was already burnt beyond recognition, I assumed it'd be a bit less. After watching Nick pour what seemed like a ton of ashes into the river (where hopefully no one's kayaking underneath), I paused the show to go clean my cat litter box .... TPTB sure are getting their money's worth outta that fake bridge. It's the most popular destination in town. Sharon used to go there to 'think'? (the fact that we've never seen it before shows Sharon wasn't ever much of a 'thinker')... Noah holding Faith on the bridge for some reason reminded me of Michael Jackson .... Note to Genevieve - euuuwww - I never heard Cane say he thinks Jill 'attractive'. But (as much as it pains me to say this) - as twisted and narcissistic as Genevieve is, gotta give her props for letting Cane's brutal comments (and 'I don't care if you drop dead right now' glares bounce her. Missing (and denied access to) his own twins, you'd think Cane would have some compassion for his mother's loss. Clearly grief made her a different person (who unfortunately didn't benefit from any grief counseling) ... Note that the boutique is being renovated - to make way for the exclusive launch of Jabot Cosmetics (which one of our lucky readers, John, will be able to preview first) .... Genevieve has a personal assistant? When? Why? Where? How long? (cause the woman seems more long suffering/tolerant - than a new hire) ... Daniel and Lily are sharing a bottle of water (which some, like me, finds kinda icky) - how long before they share more? A kiss? A bed? (oh - I didn't have to wait long for the kiss)... How coincidental - that Nick would NOW decide he wants Ashley to play a bigger role in Faith's life - because everything's 'calmed down' (or because he bought the magazine - and will need a babysitter) ..... Oh - DANIEL learned 'the hard way' (that you can't love without trust)? Wasn't it LILY who first learned that hard lesson? The only thing hard about Daniel was his penis - when he was lying to his 'trusting' wife, Lily - so he could flirt with Amber and watch online porn 24/7. Oddly enough when Daniel goes on to mention what he put Lily through - the focus is on their underage marriage - not what Daniel's addiction did to Lily's already fragile self esteem) ... I get Sam's point - I truly do (as he has every reason to be disappointed) - and he's obviously a kind hearted, good man. That said, for him to ignore Sharon's 'bye' was childish. Does he get drunk or pout every time things don't go his way? .. Kudos to Adam - for having the decency not to interrupt Sharon's family's farewell (as he did with her memorial service) ... I'm hoping to contact the consolation prize winner's in the Jabot contest later this evening - just going through the entries (and need 2 more to make the top 5).
