Jack's surprised to find Phyllis at RS (and vise versa). Both are where they belong (in more ways than one, Jack adds pointedly).
Still at CL's, with Ashley, Nick's in need of a babysitter - and finds an eager volunteer in Ashley. Realizing that Faith's yellow blankie is missing, Nick knows exactly where they left it ....
On the bridge - now dark, a weepy Adam caresses the blankie.
Thanks to the persuasive Piper, Sharon's at the barn dance. She's there - that's all that matters to Sam ~kiss!
Admiring Sharon in her new dress, Sam's breath is taken away. Already knowing Lee, Sharon's introduced to Piper's Mom - then it's off to check out her pie. Brenda joins them - hey, I know you! she gets Sharon squirming.
Come on Red - don't play coy, Jack taunts. Nick and I are just colleagues, Phyllis insists (while Jack prattles on about the exciting launch of Ashley's new produce line). Arriving at RS, Noah gives Jack a hug. Yeah - let's get together soon. And after he leaves, Noah hugs Phyllis - and mentions a friend whom he'd like to show around the magazine. Asking about the scattering of Sharon's ashes, Phyllis hopes Noah was able to say 'good bye'.
At the bridge, Nick accuses Adam of pissing on this special place (by showing up). Unimpressed that Adam found Nick's words beautiful, he again blames Adam for Sharon's death.
Still sure she's seen Sharon somewhere, Brenda' hustled off for soda. That leaves Piper to enlists Sharon in the square dance (which she'll give a try). Bumping into Marco (the state trooper), Sharon learns that Brenda's a waitress at the diner on Route 85. Also thinking Sharon looks familiar, Marco tells her to have fun then wanders off.
Back at CL's, Ashley's in no rush for Nick to pick up Faith (who's having fun). Hearing that Ashley's keeping Tucker apprised of all things business, Jack has to wonder if her babysitting Faith is a good idea.
At RS, Noah briefly recaps the ash scattering - then introduces Hunter to Phyllis (who, listing her duties, proclaims herself a 'jack of all trades'). And what's the worst part? Being away from Summer (who's on a field trip to DC). Hearing that Hunter wants a job as a summer intern, Phyllis approves - send a resume and she'll discuss it with Nick. Where IS he anyway? she wonders.
Still on the bridge, Adam's work to clear Sharon's name means nothing - LESS than nothing, to Nick. Sure it's a public place - but Adam has NO right to be there. Nick's sure Sharon would never have found peace with Adam (and would have eventually realized that). Adam points out that Sharon ran like hell (from marrying Nick). The love of your life - the mother of your kids, chose ME over YOU (and Nick just can't live with that, Adam taunts).
After Piper and Sam praise Sharon's dancing skills, Piper whines when her Dad gets a police related call. And as she and Sharon head off to admire her pie, Brenda races in - I need a cop NOW (which makes Sharon nervous).
Appreciating Jack's concern, Ashley's well aware that she's not Faith's mother - and can handle babysitting duty (and maintain perspective). Both are excited about Jabot's re-launch (and ready to kick ass). But when Jack wants Ashley back in the lab (to work on more products), she claims she's too busy - then admits Tucker's asked her to help run McCall. Yes - including Jabot.
Ending a call, Phyllis heads downstairs to the art department (leaving Hunter to thank Noah for helping her get the job). Share your problems with me, she encourages - after all he's done for her, it's Hunter's turn to be there for Noah. OK - come with me, Noah leads her out.
Adam thinks Nick so self righteous - planning another hatchet job (on him) in 'Useless Pile' - while HE'S honouring Sharon's memory (by working to prove her innocence). Do what you want, Nick sneers - it's a waste of time.
That's the guy who took my car, Brenda shrieks at the carjacker (who was caught trying to steal another). Restrained by two men, the struggling carjacker meets Sharon's worried eyes.
At CL's, Ashley admits that she's overseeing Jabot - but Tucker has the final say on all decisions. She can't make any promises. Not worried, Jack will go unpack the rest of his 'personal effects' then. Jabot's MINE - and NOBODY is taking it from me.
Meanwhile, at the dance, the carjacker pleads innocence (as Lee and Marco strong arm him out). That guy recognized you, Sam's suspicious of Sharon (who's again saved when Piper leads her off to see her pie). Thanking Sam for everything, Sharon leaves him looking concerned.
Back at RS, hell no, Nick's not having second thoughts - he wants it on record that Adam ruined Sharon's life. Rip the bastard to shreds! Good - you'll like what I have so far, Phyllis promises.
In Adam's suite, he and the forensics guy are on the laptop - working on the restored memory card. OMG - hear that? Adam recognizes Sharon's voice (as she tries to save Skye).
In his office, Jack unpacks framed photos from a box - pausing to look sad over one in particular.
Taking Hunter to the spot they scattered his mother's ashes, Noah's praised for being so sweet to others - but who takes care of HIM? Remembering his Mom, Noah knows she had faults - but also remembers how brutal he was (during their last conversation). As he didn't have the opportunity to say I love you - and that he's sorry, HUnter encourages him to go back alone - try again.
Hovering over the computer, Phyllis and Nick decide to do Adam's article in resume format. The forgery and fraud will be a two page spread. This is just like old times - Nick jokes about Phyllis' lack of cooking skills. As they almost kiss, they decide - we can't do this (though neither break eye contact of step back).
In the suite, Adam and the forensic guy hear Sharon's voice - No! I don't want you to die! One leaving with a check (and a bonus) - one with a restored memory card - both are happy. Now alone, Adam mopes over a framed photo of Sharon. He has proof of her innocence - but why did it have to come too late?
Admiring Piper's pie, Sharon gives her young friend a hug. She loves the small town - and meeting Piper is the best part. Oh yes - and Sam too, Sharon quickly agrees. Interrupting, Sam asks Sharon to dance (and the lovers are soon swaying and gazing into one another's eyes).
As the band provides backdrop for a musical montage, the carjacker protests outside (pointing frantically in at Sharon). Ashley looks happy as can be - with Faith in her lap .... An emotional Jack puts the framed photo (of him and Sharon) back into the box .... And Nick and Phyllis? They're making out on top of a desk ... At the bridge, Noah mopes alone ... In his suite, Adam also weeps over the memory card. The band wrapping it up, the barn dancers applaud.
Marco comes over to tap Sam on the shoulder - to take his lady friend into custody. Lee chimes in; Sharon Newman, you're under arrest. And as Marco cuffs a horrified Sharon, Sam and Piper watch on (equally aghast).
Next: Phyllis tells Nick - Sharon cared about her own self preservation - before her children ... Mike explains to Victor - Sharon's situation could have an adverse effect on your company ... At the GC police station, the DA asks - did Adam help you escape and evade arrests? And as Leslie warns her not to answer, Nick and Adam arrive - stunned to find themselves face to face with Sharon.
My Thoughts: Sharon (in her new dress) ALMOST took Sam's breath away? .... RS's 'art department' is located downstairs? But wasn't that space Sabrina's art gallery? Then Amber's production space (for her tacky leather jackets)? When did Victor (who owns the building) give the lower floor to whomever owned RS? ... Why is Hunter holding up her dress hem - like she;s crossing a puddle of sumthin'? ... Yes Nick - how ARE you honouring Sharon's memory? By having sex with Phyllis on a desk (where anyone who steps off the elevator can get an eyeful) ... Adam may be able to clear Sharon's name when it comes to killing Skye - but there's nothing he can do about the charges she'll face due to fleeing justice/escaping jail/drugging a guard etc. etc. ... As a favour to their pal Sam, couldn't Lee and Marco have taken Sharon outside to be cuffed and arrested? Did it have to be done in front of everyone at the dance (including Piper)? ... Why would a carjacker (who's still obviously very busy stealing cars), show up at the town's biggest annual event? ... Jack's been in the CEO's office for a week now - but still hasn't managed to unpack his one box of 'personal effects'?? Why would he have a framed photos of him and Sharon - but none of him and his shrink; Mary Jane? ... Given that the dance is in a BARN - in farm country, shouldn't the pies be covered (to protect them from flies)?
