At G-worm, Deacon offers to listen. As a bartender, it's his job. Abby, snarling that she's not his 'friend', receives a 'yes Ma'am'.

As Victor's leaving a 'call me' message for Abby, Diane arrives at the boutique with Kyle. All excited about the 'shut out, no hitter' he pitched, he understands that his Dad couldn't be there. Heading off for a pizza celebration, Kyle poses for the cameras with his parents. Overhearing, Victor plans to have his jet fly a banner over Kyle's next game. Cool! Kyle's suitably impressed. Not to be outdone, Jack's gonna take the entire team to 'Great America'. Declaring the gesture 'generous', Diane scolds Victor and Jack for using Kyle in their 'contest'. Both then accuse HER of using Kyle (whom she wasn't thinking of when getting involved with 'the likes of Adam').

Chloe and Vikki butt heads at CL's. I hope you're happy, Vikki isn't buying that Chloe's protecting her daughter (whom she's been using for her own agenda since before she was born). Chloe KNOWS Billy (from New York) - he's going down the same path; the drinking, the gambling, the women. Believe me - you don't want your child around that.

At the hospital, Billy's unconscious - as a cop tries to reach the Abbott's.

Back at the boutique, the event over, Jack's discussing Billy with Jill when Sergeant Burke calls. What's he done this time? Updated on the accident, Jack and Billy's Mom are on their way!

Leaving yet another message for Abby, it's obvious to Ashley that her daughter's not speaking to her. And when Tucker claims it's been 'especially stressful' for Abby, Ash wonders what he means. All that's forgotten when Jack calls to update on Billy's accident. Insisting Tucker stay home to rest, Ashley's off to the hospital. Update Abby IF she comes by.

Still at G-worm, Abby assumes Diane's scouting for her next 'meat ticket'. Hissing that rich people have no class, Diane's charging towards the 'irritating little twit' - when Deacon pops between them with a menu.

Jack and Jill arrive at Memorial just before Ashley. All three are updated by the doctor; Billy's suffered a separated shoulder, but no internal bleeding. Reportedly now awake, he'll will be kept overnight (then likely arrested for DUI).

As the nurse goes to fetch pain meds, Billy jokes from his bed. Scowling down at him with Jack and Ashley, Jill asks Billy what the hell he was thinking!?

Claiming she's 'not the problem here', Chloe WANTS Billy to be a father to Delia. Vikki then gets a call from her father; Billy!? Is he OK?! Thanks for letting me know ~click~ Updated, Chloe asks Vikki to call her. He's still Billy's father, she states the obvious.

Looking for Abby at G-worm, Victor's told he should teach his little brat some manners. And as Deacon eavesdrops, Victor tells Diane it's SHE who needs some manners.

At Tucker's, Abby's told about Billy's accident. Ashley just called to say he'll be fine. Sorry she heard about their wedding via a reporter, Tucker's proud of the way Abby handled herself at the boutique. Near tears, Abby admits that SHE was the one who hit Tucker (Mom would have gone to prison for her). Tucker knows - he saw Abby behind the wheel. Glad she confessed, Tucker will keep it between 'us'. But did Abby do it on purpose? (Did you try to kill me? Tucker wonders).

Billy informs his dubious siblings and mother that he didn't touch a drop at Jimmy's (flashback to Cane pouring shots - which Billy paid for but walked away from). Get some rest, Jack's clearly skeptical.

At Jimmy's, Chloe takes some verbal jabs at Cane (and again defends revoking Billy's custodial rights). Told that he didn't drink a drop, Chloe suspects Billy had a flask (or hit another bar). What if Delia was in the car? Would everyone still be defending Billy? she challenges.

Abby doesn't want to believe herself capable of 'that' (deliberately hitting Tucker) - and she TRIED to confess. Abby then owns up to the text messages (trying to set Tucker and Diane up at the cabin). Having fessed up herself, Abby now expects Tucker to come clean (about having sex with Diane the night of the tornado). However, Tucker lies - there was never anything between them. Forget it and move on, he suggests. Abby can't get out of there fast enough. Tell Mom to call me, she tosses over her shoulder.

Done defending Abby (to Diane), Victor leaves the eavesdropping Deacon to comment; that guy's a piece of work. Diane's not all about money (and she's had it with the Newman's). Her jaw drops when Deacon drops the bomb; it was Abby who hit Tucker, not her Momma.

Never mind Cane's assessment of her parenting skills, Chloe sticks by her 'educated guess' (that Billy's drinking caused his accident). Bickering about who's cruel, Chloe doesn't want to be seen as a selfish monster (something Cane can certainly relate to).

As Jack, Jill and Ashley decide that hiring Billy at Jabot is the best way to help him, Vikki arrives. Sent into Billy's room, Vikki stares sadly at him. On strong pain meds, the departing nurse thinks he'll be 'out for the night'.

As Billy sleeps, Vikki blathers on - oh, why does he keep doing this to the people who love him? Then comes a long winded spiel about how Billy showed the 'boring old drudge' (Vikki) how to have fun. Spontaneous vacations - a tattoo! Vikki fell in love (and had the time of her life). But - she's no longer laughing - and just can't 'do this anymore' *sigh*

Returning home, Ashley hears that Abby confessed (to what Tucker already knew). Initially sticking to her lie, Ashley then explains that she couldn't let Abby go to jail. Understanding (and believing it an accident). Tucker (such a 'good man') just wants to move on ~hug~

At the ranch, Abby tells Victor that she 'set things right' with Tucker (who believes it was an accident). Worried, Victor's not so sure - he's a vindictive man. Confessing would have ruined Abby's life. Yeah, well - the tape's been destroyed - and Kent won't blab (if the Naked Heiress goes to prison he won't make any money). Victor's still not convinced.

Stunned to hear it was Abby who hit Tucker, Diane realizes the Newman's were lying all this time. She just assumed the blond who was driving was Ashley (who confessed). Telling Diane about Abby's confession tape (which disappeared), Deacon knows the man they both hate, Victor, is behind the cover up.

Happy to finally be in bed with her husband, Mrs McCall is further delighted when Tucker puts the wedding band on her finger. 'Really married' now, Ashley expresses concern about sex - did the doctor say it's OK? It's our wedding night, Tucker kisses his bride.

Back at the ranch, Abby's grateful Victor shipped her off to rehab before her confession got out there. Victor will always do what's best for Abby (who again expresses her desire to put the whole ugly incident behind them).

Tired of being treated like crap, Diane plans to take a whole lotta people down - before she leaves town. And with a sly grin, she'll keep Deacon's offer to 'help' in mind.

Leaving Jimmy's, Chloe's told that her drink's on the house - and invited to come back anytime she wants to talk. The phone works both ways, she says in parting.

When the cop informs her and Jack that there was no alcohol in Billy's blood, Jill feels guilty for not believing him. Both hope this accident is a wake up call.

Vikki continues to talk to the sleeping Billy - she just can't pick up the pieces anymore (without falling to pieces herself). Kissing his forehead, Vikki slowly and sadly leaves. Opening his eyes, it's clear Billy heard every word.
