Today's Spoiler

Running into the very friendly Jack at G-worm, Sam gets an earful. Blamed for Sharon going to prison for 30 years, 'the Mustache' (who Jack points out across the room) isn't her champion - he's on no one's side but his own.

At a table with Nick, Victor worries about Sharon's 'mental state' (as she's pushing away everyone who cares about her).IE - Noah and Sam; who checks out as an 'honest' man (who could be corrupted - by Jack). Nick turns to watch Sam and Jack chatting at the bar.

Puzzled, Sharon wonders if she's got the right number - and whom she's speaking to. Toying with Sharon, Diane doesn't reveal her identity. Heavy on the innuendo, she'd would be happy to play 'secretary' when she sees Adam tonight. Gripping the phone, Sharon's eyes dart about in confusion.

At RS, Phyllis refreshes Adam's memory (on their 'super fun' trip to Thailand). 'An exercise in futility' Adam reminds that all the memory cards were erased. Funny - cause just the other day, Adam claimed it wasn't a dead end. Yeah, well, Adam was wrong. It IS too bad - for Sharon. Uh huh - but Phyllis just got off the phone with the pal she hired to go over the memory cards (and knows Adam restored one). Busted, she concludes with confidence.

Emmett's mistaken - and so was Adam. The voices weren't Skye and Sharon after all. It was two other women hanging off a volcano? Phyllis wants to hear the audio. Alas, Adam doesn't know where the memory card is - it's worthless, he insists. Phyllis, the 'paranoid busybody', is accused of concocting a story out of thin air (to get Nick's attention). Phyllis appreciates the 'good material' for her story. Now, where's the memory card? Not finding it in his jacket pocket, Adam marches out - leaving Phyllis to make a call; you are NOT going to believe the news I have.

Over beers at G-worm's bar, the popular Sam cuts off Jack's detailed story. He appreciates the 'history' - but wants to focus on helping Sherr ... Sharon. Jack wraps up his anti-Victor spiel by using Sharon as an example of what happens to those who think they won't get caught in the crossfire (of Victor's feuds).

Across the room, Victor vows to do all he can to help Sharon - then 'hmmm's' (when Nick claims he won't be the one Sharon 'leans on' this time). He WILL use the magazine to keep the story front and center (then relays Phyllis' suspicions - that Adam DOES have proof of Sharon's innocence).

Really needing to speak to Adam, Sharon sure would appreciate knowing where he is. Diane's not sure she should provide that info (as it seems Adam's intentionally avoiding her). Not the jealous type, Diane will indeed pass on a message. When Sharon gives her name, Diane asks her not to hang up. ~click~ Damn. On cue, Adam's home - why isn't Diane off begging Victor to take Kyle? Relax - Diane's going now. And on her way out, she informs that Sharon just called - she wants to see you - sounded urgent.

When Nick arrives at RS, Phyllis shares her news - Adam's lying. Emmett was with him when they heard the audio clip (Sharon didn't want Skye to die). But, get this, now Adam's saying it wasn't them (and doesn't know where the memory card is). Nick doesn't get it - after running around the world, Adam now doesn't want to prove Sharon's innocence? Phyllis thinks Adam's punishing Sharon.

In the interrogation room, Adam reveals that Diane gave him her message. In your hotel room? Discussing business, Adam claims. Sharon has no right to ask - but ... it seems he's moved on. Adam explains his platonic relationship with Diane. There's been nobody else in his life (or heart) since New Orleans. Also with a tear in her eye, Sharon wonders how Adam feels about her now - is there anything left between them?

Watch out for him, Jack now warns Sam about the diabolical Adam. Leaving, Sam makes it clear that he's not getting involved in any family feud. He leaves Jack to take a call from Kyle (for whom he has a surprise when he gets to G-worm).

Kyle's in trouble? What's going on? Victor's at the ranch with Diane (who declares herself an idiot to think she could handle Adam). Kyle needs your help. Worried that Adam wants her dead, Diane wants to leave him with Victor (so she can skip town).

Be furious with her - but please don't punish Kyle (a groveling Diane regrets going along with Adam's plan). Victor knows she wouldn't abandon her boy - did Adam threaten him? No - but it WOULD be the best way to hurt Diane (who reminds that Adam went after Ashley and their unborn child - to get back at Victor). Diane informs that she cut a deal with the DA (who will indict Adam). After calling 'Spencer' (to confirm her story), Victor's still not convinced. Why would she be willing to turn State's evidence - if she's so afraid of Adam? Why not send Kyle to his father?

Phyllis spells it out for Nick - how Adam went a bit 'nuts' after Sharon 'died'. He's been living the life of a monk (in her honour) - and she comes back with hay in her hair (from rolling around with Sam). Adam would NOT take that well. But to let her rot in prison for 30 years? Adam probably thinks she deserves it - he's always the victim, Phyllis knows her theory's crazy - but that's Adam for ya. Even if the memory card's never found, Phyllis suggests they persuade their readers (who love to hate Adam) that it exists. As she starts typing, Nick stops her - whoa - hold on - let's think about this.

Taking a seat, Adam has regret - guilt. No need - Sharon knows he did everything he could. She's sorry she didn't reach out to him. And she's sorry .... About Sam? Adam 'thinks' he does. Please understand - Sharon never meant to hurt Adam.

Reminded that her purpose for returning to GC was so that Kyle could 'get to know' his father, Diane insists he's too obsessed with Jabot (and it's new product line) to pay attention to his son. Victor may own a larger company - but he found 'balance' (and made Kyle feel important). Where the hell was this sentiment last night? (when Victor expressed interest in her son). Suddenly shrieking, Diane blames the stress of his psycho son. Just as suddenly, Diane calm but weepy. Please - she wants her son to be safe. If Victor agrees, it ain't for HER sake - it's for Kyle's.

Catching up with Kyle (at G-worm), Jack opines that his Mom's made some bad decisions - trusted the wrong people. I'm here if you need anything. Father of the Year then hands over an envelope (containing his 'surprise').

Adam's gotta admit - it's been hard seeing Sam (when visiting Sharon; who quickly points out that she told him to go back to New Mexico). Adam claims he's glad Sam was there for Sharon (who worried that he'd 'lash out' in anger). And just as Adam declares there IS something left between them, Sam walks in. Shaking his hand, Adam thanks Sam for taking care of Sharon (his pleasure). I'll leave you two alone to talk, Adam strolls out. Now alone, Sam comments on Sharon's interesting 'friends'. Adam? No - he's no friend of yours.

When Sharon assumes Sam's been listening to the Newman's and the Abbott's, Sam claims he makes his own opinions. One thing Sharon can say about Adam; he loves her (and stood by her). Thinking she got caught up with some 'pretty big players', Sam's not surprised Sharon was happy mucking out stalls. He won't let her rot away in prison (but isn't sure GC's much better).

Nick will allow Phyllis to print this story (which she insists will HELP Sharon). And he 'loves' that it'll show her what kind of person Adam is. Instructed by Nick, Phyllis calls Emmett (for some quotes that will prove Adam's a liar).

Knowing Jack will fight it, Victor wonders if Diane's trying to get even with him. Diane maintains that her only concern is Kyle. Victor lists a few stipulations; she's to tell NO ONE about this - and nd she's not to use Kyle as a pawn (or as leverage against Jack). And as Diane smiles triumphantly in the background, Victor calls Mike to draw up some documents.

Jack's surprise is an overnight baseball camp in West Virginia. All the coaches are former pro. Kyle's especially delighted to hear that it's a father/son camp. Awesome! So cool! ~hug~

Victor hands Diane her copy of the 'iron clad' document. If she leaves town (or something 'happens to me') - HE becomes Kyle's legal guardian. But if Victor finds out this is an attempt to manipulate him, dealing with his 'psycho son' will be the least of Diane's problems. Thank you, Diane leaves (and outside the front door, wastes no time dialing. What the hell did you tell Sharon? Adam barks. Who cares? Victor signed the custody agreement. Now it's Adam's turn - get my son out of town before it hits the fan ~click~

Typing away, Phyllis and Nick huddle around the computer. OMG! It's gone viral - thousands of hits! The next issue will break records (and the article hasn't even been written yet). Nick pats himself on the back for rehiring Phyllis (who's thrown off by his hug). Separating to return to work, Nick and Phyllis can't keep their eyes off each other.

Sharon flips through the folder Leslie's brought - this can't be true. If it is - Adam had proof of your innocence (and kept it to himself). Why would he do that? Sharon seems genuinely stumped.

When Sam mosey's onto the patio, Adam's not quite so friendly - so, we meet again. Expect to see a lot of me if you're around Sharon, Sam announces - she's important to me. You're not helping her - go back to your ranch. Working with all kinds of animals; big ones, small ones, Sam knows a snake when he sees one. And as Sam proceeds inside, Adam glares most evilly.

Next: If it's too early for you to get back to this stuff ... Jack tells Tucker (who - Ashley at his side - says 'no, I'm fine') ... Sam sits across from Sharon; I'm not worried about Adam - I'm worried about you ... Sharon's where she because of her own choices, Adam informs Diane.

My Thoughts: Let's hope Phyllis doesn't get any sun in that dress (it'd leave some weird tan lines on her back) Too bad she didn't use some 'good material' to add a back to her office attire ... Phyllis assures Adam that she could recognize Skye and Sharon's voices - but neither Sharon nor Diane recognized the other's voice? (wouldn't the caller ID, indicating the call's from jail, have narrowed it down for Diane?) Oh yeah - the ritzy GCAC's luxury suite's still use phones tethered by a curly cord (cause the manager couldn't possibly just charge a guest's credit card if the phone's handset went missing) is the TV remote glued to the top of the TV too? .... Phyllis is a fast dialer - and Nick sure picked up fast too. Are we supposed to buy this whole 'will they/won't they' sexual tension Nick and Phyllis are trying to resell us? Don't we already know they WILL? Affair/married/divorced/sharing a child/random nights of spontaneous/ uncontrolled passion. How can they go back to the 'I'm confused as to how I feel about you' stares - across desks they've already had sex on? ... When did the DA and Victor become so chummy? Is everyone in town on a first name basis with 'Spencer'? Why would he interrupt a meeting to speak to the man the last DA was so intent on prosecuting (even it the former DA WAS corrupt) ... Never mind skipping town, Diane should be hiding out in Lily's recently vacated room at the psych ward. Her rapid mood swings come off as highly unstable. Nice to see that she took Nick's advice to heart (that she stop the lying and scheming) ... RS's announcement of an upcoming article that's not even written yet has 'gone viral'? I thought viral only applied to video. And has RS NOT put out an issue that's topped all previous sales records?
