Getting a call from Jack - groaning about having to replace a manager at Jabot - Kay advises him to think outside the box; good managers come from the most unlikely places. Gloria then leads Genevieve over (raving about how well her realty business is doing since selling her the McMillain house). And as Glo goes to fetch champagne, both Jack and Genevieve's day suddenly looks brighter - until the 'buzz kill' walks in. Jack swivels in his seat to meet Jill's glare.

Bumping into the 'good doctor' at CL's, Neil (as the potential father) demands to know what time Sofia's ultra sound is taking place. After all they've been through, he's disgusted with Liv's allegiance to Sofia. Patient schcmatient - we're FAMILY! Done with secrets, Neil's gonna go to the hospital - find out who's the father - so they can ALL get on with their lives!

At the club, Sofia tells Tucker that today's appointment should reveal her baby-daddy. Believing it's Malcolm, she's hoping her gorgeous husband will move back home (so they can begin healing and planning baby showers etc.) - God willing. Tucker does indeed feel he's 'back' (and ready to take on whatever comes).

At the mausoleum, Paul updates Kay that he has a 'big lead'. By the end of the day, they could know the identity of Tucker's son.

Meeting Noah at CL's, Devon (with Hunter) is eager to get some music recorded - then disappointed to hear Noah won't be able to finish the record (because he's doing some promo music for Jack).

Jill makes a beeline for Jack and 'crazy cakes' (who're ruining G-worm for her). Bickering about who's over Collin and who's not, Jill warns Jack that Genevieve's a 'train wreck waiting to happen'. Charging out, she almost collides with a champagne toting Gloria (who quips about hiring a bouncer to keep the riff raff out). Going over a list of promos Jack's had emailed to him, Genevieve impresses Jack with better ideas (which gives Jack an idea of his own; hiring her).

Paul shows Kay a photo of the 'notorious groupie' (who appeared in many photos with Tucker). Amy Coslo (AKA Lollipop) now gets paid to listen to music - and has agreed to a stopover in GC. Paul's meeting her at G-worm - today. As Paul exits, Jill arrives. Summoning her over, Kay mentions problems at Jabot (to which she thinks Jill's her solution).

Waddling into a hospital room, Sofia gets another explanation about the antibodies in her blood - that will indicate whether Malcolm or Neil is the father. Warning Sofia that Neil may show up, Liv won't let him in to view the ultrasound (unless Sofia OK's it). Just let him in, Sofia feels Neil deserves an answer (knowing it'll hurt Malcolm to see him there).

Bare chested, Malcolm's shooting hoops - when Neil shows up also bouncing a basketball. No words are exchanged - as the brothers give one another the stink eye.

Malcolm bumps into Neil - who says 'that's cool' - he'll see him at the ultrasound. Malcolm tells Neil to go to hell (and to stay away from his woman and baby - even though neither may really be his). You guys were broken up!Neil reminds that they're blood - brothers. And didn't HE sleep with Neil's wife years ago? Malcolm won't give Neil 'a pass'. He and Sofia might survive - but their brotherly relationship, not so much. That's it, Neil sheds his shirt and it's 'game on'.

Now in the patio, Noah and Devon disagree about their partnership. Feeling creatively 'stymied', Noah can't pass up Jack's offer (and have his music heard on a national level). He was gonna see about bringing Devon on. Gee thanks - but Devon won't walk away from a record deal - and what about their contract. Jack's gonna handle it - and maybe he can work on both. After Noah ducks out, Tucker arrives (to greet his protege record producer).

Back at G-worm, Gloria tells Genevieve that Jill made her deceased husband's life a living nightmare. Yes - she was married to Jack's father. After Glo toddles off, Jack's enthralled by Genevieve's marvelous 'old Hollywood glamour' ideas (to the point that he asks her to come work for him). Kay did tell him to 'think outside the box', after all.

Ester's off to meet Chloe at Delia's pediatrician appointment. So odd that she's caught a cold this time of year, Jill comments. She then rejects working under Jack (at a place she was once CEO). Bottom line, Kay needs a spy at Jabot - and Jill's it.

Sorry, Jill's too busy (and talented) to be Kay's spy (not unless she's guaranteed the CEO spot - when Jack screws up - in writing). Kay gives her word. Good - cause Jill won't be anyone's rebound person.

Genevieve's flattered and amused by Jack's offer - but doesn't need a job (or the money that comes with it). What if she 'falls on her face'? She has no experience. Jack continues to charm and woo (imploring Genevieve to at least let him show her around Jabot).

After Glo takes their order, Paul and Amy take a seat - to chat about her wonderful job (and 'music mastermind' Tucker McCall). Yes, they were close - good times. Tell me about them, Paul encourages.

Meanwhile, Tucker takes a seat with Devon. After the subject of foster care is conveniently mentioned, Hunter's asked to excuse them - so that Tucker can ask why Devon (and Noah) aren't in the studio. Updating that Noah's bailed on the project, Devon pitches his producing skills. Yeah, well, Tucker doesn't employ people out of charity. Pleading for another chance, Devon's given one. He's to bring Tucker a brand new artist - with star power - within 24 hours - or Devon's out (but don't take it personally).

Neil and Malcolm are sweating it up on the court - antagonizing one another as they push, shove (and travel). Malcolm gets the last (loud) word in; You screwed up - own it - this will NEVER go away! (even if the baby's his).

Kay can't guarantee the CEO job. Well then spy this! Jill grabs her purse and is about to march out. A deal is finally struck when Kay claims it's 'possible' that Jill will be CEO (if Jack doesn't meet his projections). If not, she'll still get 'a bigger place' in the company. Kay wants Jill in place quickly - before Jack does something that'll make her want to slap him upside the head ....

... Like hiring Genevieve (whom he's giving the VIP guided tour). And this would be your office - an assistant, parking space - make her own hours - blah blah blah. Impressive - but Genevieve's answer is still no. Jack pulls out 'the big guns' - she'll be working closely with him. Mmmmm - Genevieve likes 'close' ~kiss~

When Malcolm arrives, Dr Liv ducks out - leaving Sofia to assure him that she didn't invite Neil. Sofia loves MALCOLM (who implies the marriage is over if the baby's not his). And as an emotional Sofia caresses Malcolm's face, Neil shows his.

Amy smiles over the photo of her and Tucker - what a phenomenal night. Joining them (and introduced by Paul), Kay wastes no time asking if they were romantically involved. Amy wishes. Paul looks dumbfounded to hear they didn't even share a kiss.

Inside CL's, Devon frets to Hunter - damn - he doesn't have the next Lady Ga Ga on speed dial. No way he can find serious talent in 24 hours. But wait - he might just know someone..... On the patio, Tucker's on the phone - she what!?

Back at G-worm, Amy tells Paul and Kay about one girlfriend of Tucker's; Candy Cane - there she is in the photo (her back to the camera). When she disappeared from the scene, rumour had it she was 'preggers'.

The heart beat of Sofia's 'beautiful baby boy' beats strongly for all to hear. Neil watches the monitor - Malcolm watches Neil.

Hunter hovers, as Devon leaves a frantic 'call me' message. Returning, Noah's updated on Tucker's 'harsh' deadline. Lucky for Devon, he just might have a potential star in his very own family; Anna. Devon can turn his sister into the next Beyonce, losing Noah might be the best thing that ever happened to Devon.

Neil continues to admire the baby's image on the screen. A boy. Yeah - amazing, Malcolm marvels. Sofia's dressed and nervous (as are the brothers) - when Liv comes back with the results (that might tell them who's the father).

Needing to get to the airport, Amy's told that Paul and Kay are merely putting Tucker's affairs in order. Say Hi from Lollipop, Amy leaves with Paul. Seconds later, Tucker confronts Kay (photo in hand) - what the hell are you up to now?!

At Jabot, Jill's smile fades when she catches Jack and Genevieve giggling in the spare office. I'm the new head of marketing, she announces - per Kay. That's funny, I'm the new head of marketing - per Jack, Genevieve retorts. Not if I toss your ass first! Jill's attack is headed off by Jack.

Next: You want your mother and I to come back to Australia with you? Isn't that what you've always wanted? Cane asks Collin ... You started this war - and I'm gonna finish it, Tucker warns. Good luck, Kay's unconcerned ... I want to say good bye, Cane says. What, wait - you're leaving? Lily's shocked.

My Thoughts: Hmm - Delia has a cold - so unusual (at least it'll bring her wayward daddy home) ... Has it never occurred to Dr Liv that fabricating Sofia's due date is highly unethical (regardless of who she was trying to protect). Neil could have her license to practice medicine revoked (or at least remove the 'privileges' that allow her to waltz into town and take over the hospital whenever she feels the urge). Why wouldn't Sofia get an OBGYN who actually resides in GC? ... Sofia doesn't know that baby showers are traditionally planned by friends and family of the mother to be - not the parents to be themselves? Who does Sofia think will round out the guest list? .... 'Please God'? Kinda nervy of Sofia to pray for divine intervention (to resolve her sinning ways) ... Noah hasn't put any 'recording time' in 'all week' - because of ONE visit to his Mom? ... Paul 'doesn't know' why Amy was nicknamed 'lollipop'? I'm no PI and I've got a pretty good idea .... If Sofia's having a hard time walking, why is she wearing heels? .. Neil DOES deserve an answer - but is it necessary for him to be with Sofia and Malcolm when they find out? Can't he just respect their privacy - and have Sofia call him as soon as she knows? I'm no fan of Malcolm - but he is the victim in this situation ... Divorce Sofia? WHY would you do that? Neil seems completely shocked (that Malcolm might not be able to get over his wife sleeping with his brother) ... Noah really thinks that having his 'music' heard 'on a national level' (in 30 second radio and TV ads) will result in a successful music career? It's not like his name's gonna appear in the credits ... Tucker's a 'music mastermind'? Who knew? ... Billionaire Tucker can't afford to keep Devon on the payroll for a while longer? He doesn't do 'charity'? If Jill only becomes CEO if Jack fails to meet sales projections, why on earth would she be motivated to send sales 'through the roof'? If anything she'll sabotage sales as long as Jack's at the helm. ... What a good friend (and professional business partner) Noah is - he didn't even bother to tell Tucker himself that he was quitting. 'Resurrection'? Is that the name of Noah's band? Is there a drummer and guitarist also out of work because Noah's decided to pursue a career in jingles? .... Why is Malcolm shouting his most embarrassing situation out for anyone within earshot to hear? Isn't it embarrassing enough - without broadcasting it all over town? Does he want to be the subject of a RS expose or sumthin'? (if a photo's included, Malcolm might wanna put his shirt back on - especially if he's standing next to Neil) ... Oooooh - wow - Jack's offering a parking space. How impressive. Do the non executive employees have to circle the block each morning for a spot along the road? ... If Amy read about how Tucker found his mother, she must have also read how Tucker stole her company. Aware of the animosity (and her fondness for Tucker), you'd think she'd be a bit more suspicious (about Paul and Kay's motives for speaking to her) ... What kind of 'notorious groupie' would be able to look at a photo from 25 years ago - and immediately remember where it was taken? Certainly NOT Pamela Des Barres (Amy) - 62 - who wrote two books about her adventures as a band groupie. Nanny to Frank Zappa's kids (Dweezil and Moon Unit), her famous sexual conquests included members (so to speak) of the Rolling Stones, The Doors, the Who and Led Zeppelin.
