Coming home, a harried Vikki ends her call - and picks up the wedding photo she accidentally knocked over. Jill drops by - to offer support on this tough day (her and Billy's 1st anniversary).

Oh no - Nick's not trying to sneak out of Phyllis' bed - he was just going out for pastries. Summer knowing about the sleepover isn't the worst thing that could happen - as long as we don't 'screw it up'.

At CL's, Avery flashes back to Nick and Phyllis' kiss - then calls him to leave a message; requesting a meeting. Something to help Sharon's case? Sam appears to ask.

After Ester leaves with a bag of clothes for Chloe, Devon arrives at the mausoleum - with Neil (who gets a chance to ask Kay why she's starting up a record label - and why she's putting Devon in charge).

Ashley goes to Tucker needing help. Sure - anything. Find Billy - for Delia's sake, she implores.

The doctor finds Chloe snoozing in a chair beside Delia's bed. Leaving the doctor to examine Delia, Chloe's sure someone will be match. Not happy when bumping into Ronan in the hallway, she tells him to leave and stay gone.

Tucker immediately calls to send his 'team' of investigators out. Billy HAS to come home, Ashley frowns - when he finds out his little girl went through all this without him ... He'll never forgive himself, Tucker concludes with a sigh.

Tucker has years in the industry, Neil points out that Kay just has Devon (hoping this 'business decision' has nothing to do with Tucker). When Devon joins them, Kay explains why she needs to postpone their meeting (and is mighty impressed when both offer to be tested).

Chloe stops snarling when a nurse comes by to say that Ronan can't be tested - and is drawn into a hug as she mopes about not being able to fix Delia.

As Sam takes a seat, Avery's pleased that he (along with Nick and Noah) will be in the gallery for Sharon; friends an family make all the difference.

Still under the sheets, Phyllis and Nick chat about Delia - which leads to Faith, Sharon's trial - and whether Avery can 'deliver'. Phyllis needs to tell Nick something about Avery....

When Jill carries on about thinking Billy (whom she really thought would return for their anniversary), Vikki finally asks her to stop - she can't do this today. Jill's so sorry - and wanting Vikki to be happy, leaves without further word.

As Ester arrives to greet Chloe and Ronan, the doctor comes out to say no match has been found; on the registry (or amongst family and friends). One test is pending; Chloe's.

Avery isn't who you think she is, Phyllis haltingly talks about everyone getting their hopes up. Assuming Phyllis doesn't want the kids to get hurt, he gives her a kiss and heads for a shower. Phyllis then calls Avery (who reminds that they aren't related - so there's no reason for contact). We have a lot to talk about - and Phyllis insists they do it now.

Following Chloe into Delia's room, Ronan encourages her to remain optimistic. Chloe tries to sound confident (that she's a match) - she's going to save her daughter's life.

Ashley and Tucker arrive at Memorial - as the doctor leads Ester into her office (as she seems determined to make a scene). Oh the horrible memories Ashley has of this place. Tucker got well here - it's where they said I do. Sure that his damn good people will find Billy, Tucker will also tested - Delia's his niece too ~hug~ Kay arrives with Devon and Neil - and as they go for testing, Ashley asks Kay to join her for a chat over coffee.

When Sam rings the doorbell, a frustrated Vikki claims it's not a good time. Oh - it's a tenant/landlord thing? A dog! she's immediately on her knees gushing over a white ball of fur Sam has on a leash.

In the courthouse, Avery sends Nick a message to meet her there asap. Phyllis then arrives - to meet her sister half way (and get the cold shoulder and attitude). Avery is now way too busy for her 'Sis'.

On the CL's patio, Ashley's trying to understand - how the woman she respected and admired all her life can treat Tucker this way. It IS Ashley's business - and what was the point of injecting Jill at Jabot (without Jack's consent)? Asked why she's so selfish and cruel now, Kay's on her feet; you have no idea what I want.

In Memorial's lounge, Tucker hopes Devon understands that firing him was strictly business - and quickly determines that he's got himself another deal. Who with? Saved from answering, Devon follows the nurse. He's been lucky lately - maybe this test will tell him he's the one.

Well Sam - this stray dog's kinda big for your small apartment. Vikki then surprises Sam by saying the dog, Keely will stay with her. Arriving - to 'check in', Nick fusses over the dog. Compared to Delia's situation and Sharon's, he can't complain.

Phyllis IS there about the trial. She'll testify that the memory card contains evidence that clears Sharon - IF Avery will keep her mouth shut (that they're sisters). Who exactly is Phyllis ashamed of? Avery - or herself?

Phyllis isn't ashamed of herself. Big deal - she left! Give me a break. The last thing she wants to do is tell everyone about 'that place'. She lied about her entire past. Please - Phyllis is in tears. Scornful, Avery knows her only concern is Nick.

After Nick leaves, Sam decides he should to. Vikki will be just fine with her new dog.

Both tested, Devon and Tucker are told they're both AB negative. A rare breed, they agree to donate blood. As Tucker goes first, Kay comes to tell Devon that she has some important details to go over with her attorney before they meet. After he leaves, Ester comes out to rattle on about grandchildren (then chat with Jill).

In Delia's room, Chloe talks to Ronan about her perfect kid (who won't screw up like she did). On cue, the doctor returns with bad news; she's not a match. Sending both out, Chloe's alone when Delia awakens - wanting to go home.

At CL's, Devon's praised for the way he handled Tucker. Devon's just glad he's no longer working for him. At least Kay puts all her cards out on the table.

As Kay's ordering Mitchell to add an heir to her will, Jill (folder in hand) marches in to protest. Is this true - you're putting Devon Hamilton in your will!?

Ashley's at Tucker's again (and reminded it's still her 'home'). She now sees he's the man she thought he was - the man she loves ~kiss~

Fine - Phyllis doesn't want Nick - or anyone to know. Keep your mouth shut that we're sisters! What? Nick has perfect timing. And Avery looks smug.

Chloe tells Delia she must stay for a little bit longer - until she's better. And as she struggles to warble a lullaby, Ronan pokes his head in the door.

A sad Vikki's got the dog in one hand - her wedding photo in the other (as she flashes back over good times with Billy). Somewhere - in what might be a cage, Billy rolls over from the fetal position; dirty and disoriented, he lays in the sand.

My Thoughts: Why would Jill be notified that Kay's made changes to her will? It looks like she was forwarded a copy before Kay had even signed off on it! Nice to see Mitchell Sherman's still alive tho .... No - it's NOT 'acceptable'. The person most likely to be a match - and the lab has managed to get everyone's test done except Delia's MOTHER? (including Phillip in Australia) ..Is this the same lab who's paternity tests are so inaccurate? ... Except for a stuffed animal on the nurses desk and a duckie photo on the wall - this is obviously the same floor of Memorial we always see ... Why hasn't Kevin done a flyer/Internet/T-shirt campaign (to get everyone in town to be tested)? ... I never noticed the matching tattoos running down the back of Devon's upper arms. The left one reads 'love' (not sure about the right) ... Devon and Tucker are both the same rare blood type - but neither seem at all surprised? ... Now that Avery knows Phyllis' testimony could help Sharon, isn't it her duty to subpoena her whether she agrees or not (as a hostile witness or sumthin')? .... Did the brilliant Avery really need to see the kiss between Nick and Phyllis to know they were an item? .... When Ashley was reading Kay the riot act, why didn't Kay remind her that Tucker stole her company first? Sure, her actions hardly express motherly love - but the 'cruel' and 'mean' Kay's not done anything that Tucker didn't do first .... If Jill expected Billy to answer the door at Vikki's, why didn't she call first to see - instead of wasting her time and gas by making a pest of herself in person? Note how she barges without Vikki inviting her to do so - and surely the look on Vikki's face shoulda told Jill that a reminder that an anniversary reminder wasn't a good idea ... Nice that Sam's taken in another stray - but has it had it's shots? When does Vikki think she'll have time for a dog? She didn't even ask if it was trained to do it's business outside. Of course the shelter is overfull - Fisher, Segundo and Humphrey have likely been dumped off there ... 'Leaving' may be Ronan's specialty - but isn't TELLING people to leave Chloe's specialty? And isn't every man who's been with Chloe prone to leaving (or fake dying) Chance, Cane, Ronan... I got a text message half way through the show. Pondering Pete - wanted to be sure I alerted my readers to the very clear shot of Vikki's tighty whiteies - shown briefly (so to speak) right after Nick made his exit. Pondering Pete also wonders if she has 'wild hair' - you know - down there. All complaints can be forwarded to Pondering Pete (who's ponderings I won't be sharing again if there are any).
