What!? Sisters!? Oh God - our meeting, Avery smiles innocently at a stunned Nick. And she WAS gonna keep her mouth shut - just like Phyllis asked. Well - that makes it alright then, Phyllis implies it clearly isn't.
At the pen, Sharon shuffles through papers. Feeling Adam's presence, she turns.
As Delia sleeps, Chloe wishes aloud (that Billy would show up) - but it's Vikki who arrives. Meanwhile, Billy puts another mark on the wall (that indicates he's been held captive for 6 days). Hand raised, he squints into the light - unable to see the shadowy figure who's opened his cell. Get out, Victor mumbles.
Missing something little piggy? At CL's, Genevieve drops Collin's cufflink into his mug of coffee.
Devon Hamilton!? An heir!? Is this a scam - or dementia? And when Mitchell hints that he sides with Jill (that Kay's out of her mind), he's once again told not to ask questions.
Devon's at CL's - on the phone trying to drum up some talent for the new label he's in charge of (long term - not like McCall). Joining him, Abby declares herself president of the 'screwed over by Tucker McCall' club. Nice - Devon's in for vice president.
At the club, Jack ends his call. Hovering, Tucker's got a team looking for Billy too. And in other news - he's gonna get Jabot back from Kay - and Jack's gonna help him (which definitely IS news to Jack).
Now on the patio, Collin's not surprised to hear where Genevieve found his cufflink (as he remembers doing some 'piggy things'). Yeah yeah - he's a pig - Jill's a cow - but they've sure got Genevieve's goat. He doesn't believe Jill's gonna be fired; she's a keeper (in business and romance). When Collin tries to file their fun and games 'in the past', Genevieve claims that her sheets are still warm (and hints that she'd be able to get him back into them).
By the time Mitchell, the 'chicken', closes the front door, Jill's put it together. Is Devon Tucker's son!?
Fresh out of 'cutting edge' eye surgery, Adam just had to come SEE Sharon. Incredible - no more dark edges. It HAD to be you. To gloat? About how great your life is - while I'm rotting in jail? Sharon's not impressed.
All this time she's been in town? a stunned Nick fires questions. Not happy to hear that Sharon's aware too, Phyllis is left to tell Nick it's not a big deal. Yup - she left her tween sister and never looked back. Near tears, Phyllis admits: I'm a liar.
Back at the club's bar, Tucker lays out his plan. IF Jack had offered more money (than Kay) for Jabot, he'd contest the deal (which a Judge would then invalidate). But what good does that do Jack? Tucker waves a napkin in the air. Kay's been dangling Jabot to make Jack dance for years. Tucker's offering a contract that couldn't be voided. Making it clear that he can't trust a guy who fleeced his own mother, Jack walks.
Confirming that Devon's her grandson, Kay has no plans to tell either him or Tucker. Territorial - possessive - vindictive - but no, Jill won't blab. Neil's a far better father than Tucker. But if Devon finds out (and that Kay kept it from him). It's a risk Kay's willing to take (and that Jill's willing to support).
Devon CAN 'see the horror'. A contract can be broken - but to have Tucker as family ... Abby's been Tweeting everyone to get their bone marrow tested. Not a match either, Devon was at least able to donate blood. Poor Delia. Poor Chloe - she's 'in hell'.
Seated on either side of a sleeping Delia, Chloe informs that she'll have her first chemotherapy treatment today. Even if Billy's not a match, it sure would be great if he was there to make Delia laugh. Having two maniacs for parents, Vikki declares Delia tough enough to get through anything.
Greeting Victor with sarcasm and questions, Billy wonders if Victor's friends have been holding him captive. Victor's there to help - and will get Billy released on one condition. Not surprisingly, Billy's never to see Vikki again.
Tell me what you're thinking, Genevieve speaks in a sultry whisper. Soft hair, silky skin, Collin thinks JILL quite a woman (while Gen should go after someone more attainable; Jack). And as Gen again talks of Jill being fired, Jill arrives. Giving Collin a kiss, she'll meet him at the mausoleum. Left to discuss business, Jill doesn't take Gen's bait (that Collin was hitting on her). And with Delia sick, GEN must go visit all the retailers. As a smiling Jill hands over stacks of files; dossiers and the itinerary, Jack arrives - pleased to see them conversing. This team thing is sheer genius, Jill flounces out - leaving Jack and Gen speechless.
Alone in the courtroom, Nick won't call Phyllis a liar (though she insists she is - she lied about everything - to forget). She HAD to. Yes - even to Nick. Why mention people she'd never see again. Teary eyed, Phyllis says she left and never looked back. Obviously, Avery did the same.
It wouldn't feel real until Adam told Sharon. Having his eyesight back is a gift. Sharon talks about the 'gifts' Adam gave her (dumping her at the altar - throwing away evidence that coulda cleared her). Avery watches unseen - as Sharon claims that Adam can't hurt her anymore. Don't come back! After she marches off, Avery approaches Adam (who snaps; save it counselor).
Looking hurt, Adam doesn't need Avery to twist the knife (as her client did a good job already). He's disappointed that him regaining his sight is 'no big deal'. It is to Avery - who seems genuinely pleased for Adam (who's encouraged to talk about his life in the dark). And now he's free. It's crazy - but Avery has a proposition. Yes, Adam's willing to listen.
Billy's amused that Victor flew half way around the world - to a jail cell - to tell him to stay away from his daughter. Victor will ensure Billy's freedom - if he sets Vikki free. Leaving her was the kindest thing Billy's done for her.
Sure that Billy will be found, Vikki's equally sure there's a reason he's staying away (IE that he's doing 'the right thing'). Chloe doubts Billy'd do the right thing if his life depended on it.
When Billy gets out - with or without Victor - he'll go see his wife and never leave her again. You Sir, can go to hell. Victor then explains that Delia is sick with leukemia - and that Billy might be a donor match.
Joining Devon and Abby at the GCAC, Kay invites Abby to stay. She welcomes her perspectives (as she was the only other person opposed to Ashley marrying Tucker). When Tucker arrives, Kay tells Abby to stay put - and both watch as she approaches Tucker. Pulling paperwork out of an envelope, he's got all the ammunition he needs to bring 'Mom' down.
That's it - that's all Phyllis is gonna tell Nick? He wishes Adam wasn't his brother - but Phyllis grew up with Avery; maybe shared a room. Once Avery leaves, this will be just a 'blip' for Phyllis. Yes - it's THAT easy. And yes - that's the way it's gonna be.
Back at the pen, Avery and Adam sit for a 'polite' conversation. Sharon needs emotional support. When Avery suggests there's still something between them, Adam thinks Avery should have HER eyes checked. Reminding Adam that he knows how bad it is to be locked up in a cell, Avery implores him to help Sharon (knowing he still cares about her).
Seems the paperwork is minutes from the board meeting. And having talked to the board members, Tucker claims they weren't in favour of CI buying Jabot. Well - Kay talked to them too (and they DO approve). The only person who has a problem with this deal is Tucker. Find another hobby - golf perhaps. As Kay exits, Tucker's left looking like a chastised child (in front of Devon and Abby; who've watched with interest).
Arriving at the mausoleum AFTER Jill, Collin reports he was tested (much to Jill's delight). She hints that she's arranged for Genevieve to be occupied for a while ~kiss~
Still on the patio, a 'ruffled' Gen complains about the trip Jill's sending her on (which she expects Jack to step in - and make 'go away').
Coming up behind Avery, Nick smiles at the screen saver she's pondering. No way! That you and Phyllis? Shutting the laptop, Avery gives Nick her coffee order - smiling at his back as he goes to fetch it.
Sharon has another visitor - Phyllis; who blames her for making sure Nick found out in the worst way (that Avery's her sister). Irritated, Sharon's had enough wackos for one day. HOW is this HER fault? Phyllis continues to lash out (accusing Sharon of sitting back - saying nothing - so it'd all blow up in her face). I don't care anymore! Phyllis marches out.
Delia's in a wheelchair - hooked up to an IV as Chloe and Vikki give her a pep talk (and promises of ice pops). Before following the nurse and Delia, a weepy Chloe gives Vikki a 'thank you' hug.
Victor's sorry to say it IS true - Delia's sick. Billy thinks him a 'deranged' man - asking him to choose between his wife and sick daughter (like any father has to think about it). Listen Billy Boy - Victor can leave him to rot - or set him free (if he agrees to never lay eyes on Vikki again). Now - what's the answer?
Next: I can't WAIT to cross examine you, Avery snarls at Adam (who looks like he can't wait either) ... I want you to succeed, Neil assures. But if it's left all up to me I'm gonna fall on my face? Devon (with Roxanne) isn't happy ... I can't take that chance, Kay says. What? Paul asks - that Tucker will shut him out? Worse - take him in! Kay replies.
My Thoughts: Billy's got a pretty good beard growin' - considering he's only been held captive for 6 days.... Vikki needs to move that curtain of hair away from her ears - Chloe didn't say she or Billy are maniacs - she said Billy made Delia 'laugh like a maniac' ... In the screensaver photo, Phyllis looks older than a teenager - and Avery looks younger than a 'tween' .... Why is Avery so worried about Sharon being in a cell? It doesn't seem like she spends any time in one. With absolutely no restrictions on visitors, Sharon could likely get away with hosting a Tupperware party. If she's tired of wackos visiting her, can't she scratch Adam and Phyllis' names OFF the list of approved visitors? ... This (Jill) is the 'real deal' Collin claims? He NEVER loved the woman he married and had THREE kids with? If he loves Jill so much, why was he so easily tempted into Genevieve's bed? Why didn't he ever get a divorce? Collin's life with Genevieve doesn't SOUND like 'fun and games' - being in the mob is 'fun'? Cause I'm sure losing a child wasn't .... Jill doesn't seem all that stunned that Devon is Tucker's son - she didn't question how Kay found out - who Devon's mother is. And given THEIR history, you'd think Jill would demand a DNA test be done (BEFORE Kay makes Devon an heir) .... I suppose Tucker's well aware that telling the Judge that Jack made a higher offer (for Jabot) than Kay did, involves lying under oath - falsifying documents - and possibly asking other (IE Sofia, Ashley) to perjure themselves also .... Why would it take so long for Tucker to get his hands on minutes of a board meeting? He's still the owner! He shoulda been able to have it faxed to him on demand. And how badly did he treat his employees (their boss is hit by a car and they all abandon him - jump ship and are more loyal to Kay)? Where's Sofia in all this? Wasn't Tucker's 'right hand' at the board meeting? Doesn't she have any influence over the board members? Poor Tucker was reduced to a humiliated 11 year old boy - publicly scolded for being caught playing hooky from school or sumthin' .... Why is a Adam, an ex con, allowed free access to the state pen? Shouldn't the inmates be protected from HIM? (what if he helps them all escape - like he did Sharon - and did Patty) ... Yeah Phyllis - it's SHARON'S fault that Nick found out that you and Avery are sisters. It was HER place to share your secrets. HAD Sharon told Nick, I'm sure Phyllis would have made a beeline to the pen - to blast her for doing so. Shouldn't Phyllis be taking care of Lucy and Summer? Or working on a story for RS? .... Of course Billy's gonna agree to whatever terms Victor demands of him. But it's not like he's signing a legal contract - and it's not like he's never gone back on his word. Agree - get the hell out - then do whatever you want. What can TGVN do? Make a big speech to a full dining room at the GCAC (asking them to make Billy a pariah). He tried that with Adam (who's now STAYING at the club). Victor's all bark - no bite ... OK - I see Billy raising his hand to his eyes - but he really doesn't look as if he's blinded by the light. Speaking of the blind - I hope there really IS cutting-edge surgery to cure retinitas pigmentosa (not that Adam's condition ever slowed him down) .... Why would ABBY get to be the president of the 'screwed over by Tucker McCall' club? Shouldn't Ashley get that position? Or Kay? Or Jack? ... Note how Nick catches his own blooper the second it's out of his mouth; 'you left town, I mean home without looking back' (mind you - he's just found out his ex wife /current lover has a young, hot BLOND sister. Of course he's excited) .... Was there any doubt that Victor'd be able to find Billy (in what's rumoured to be a jail in Burma). Guess Jack and Tucker's 'team' of investigators aren't as good as one old billionaire with a private jet ... Given Devon's medical problems in the past (the meningitis that lead to his hearing impairment), there's no way he'd just NOW be finding out that he has a rare blood type.
